"After picking up a gig at a local florist’s, college dropout Elizabeth Cronin fell hard for the craft and at twenty-three, went out on her own. Over the fifteen years she’s been in business, her space evolved into a goth-ish, fairy tale nook for everything from jewelry (Catbird, Ariko, and local Sarah Shikama are just a few standouts) to home décor (Santa Maria Novella candles, Leah Ball pottery) to vintage taxidermy—all deftly mixed with the fresh blooms that started it all. Asrai also has a second location—attached to the Ace Hotel in the West Loop neighborhood. "

So glad to see this shop reopen! Fantastic staff and fantastic flowers. We always come home with a beautiful bouquet, this time we brought in our new vase and worked with the florist to achieve this arrangement. Come with any budget or style and you will leave with something special.

Thanks for taking care of the dirty Union Carpenter today. Couldn't have been nicer, as I walked through the door and into your flower shop completely filthy after work. Sarah loved the copper watering can. It's not being used to water the plants, she says it's too nice. Lol. It's really cool. And you read my mind w the Fall Bouquet. I am glad I stopped in your store. #ShopLocal

I absolutely adore this boutique shop! I've been coming here for years and I love popping in whenever I'm in the area to browse their cute products! The jewelry section is to die for! So many beautiful and unique pieces that I'd love to add to my collection. The staff has always been so lovely and more than helpful on countless occasions.

One of the best flower shops in the city. The staff is so knowledgeable and can create stunning bouquets with their vast variety of flowers

As a prideful curator of flora in various forms, my expectations for cut flower arrangements are exceedingly high. I spent considerable time searching to find the best floral shop in Chicago. I was seeking one that could provide me with an elaborate, whimsical, and personalized arrangement. My search led me to Asrai Garden Asrai Garden unabashedly exceeded my expectations. They thoughtfully integrated my rather specific penchant for sea holly flowers and buttercups with their own signature art-form. The various floral hues and textures reverberated with a splendid essence of celebration and natural serenity. From the moment I saw it, I was enamored with what they had created. And 10 days later it still looks splendid. I look forward to seeing what other floral symphonies Asrai will create.

I ordered three flower crowns (one that was very intricate/over the top and two that were more basic) for myself and two friends for my birthday party this past weekend. Jackie handled my order and creating the crowns. I can't say enough good things about the finished product--I just gave her budget range and general aesthetic and she knocked it out of the park! I loved it and can't wait to order something from Asrai again.

One of my favorite businesses/florists ever! Everyone who works there is so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They make beautiful custom arrangements or help you make your own. They have great merchandise, some even from local artists/sources and always have the freshest and biggest selection of fresh flowers and plants. I also love how they took COVID seriously and took appropriate precautions. Asrai is just the absolute best!

Google
Beautiful design for any budget! Asrai Garden was such a wonderful discovery. We wanted simple, beautiful flowers and they were willing to work with any budget. They gave us several options for centerpieces at different price points and made flower recommendations that fit our style and saved us money. The shop is really great and they provided excellent service. Absolutely recommended!

Yelp
I only recently heard about the store and then when I saw on their Instagram that they do permanent jewelry and are currently having a sale, that was the motivation I needed to stop in. They are located in Wicker Park near the North/Milwaukee/Damen Avenues intersection, so it's always mega busy. The store was really quiet when I went in though. There was someone at the counter with a couple people looking at some merchandise, and I wandered around a bit. There wasn't quite as much merchandise as I had expected. They had some interesting jewelry, candles and incense, tarot cards, and so on. Flowers, of course! There was an employee making a bouquet as I looked around, and another... supervising, I guess (facetiousness on my part; I don't know what she was doing). When the folks left one of the staff asked fi I needed help (not the one who was helping the couple) and she showed me the permanent jewelry options when I asked. It was nice, and they have a Godo discount, but their charm selection was a little disappointing. They have about five charms, dangly stones and a heart. She said they were diamond I think? They also have chains in gold, rose gold, and silver. I liked the chains but since there weren't charms that struck my fancy I will likely wait and go somewhere else for permanent jewelry. There is no parking here. You might find street parking on North Avenue, Damen, or Milwaukee, but the neighborhood streets are permit parking all day long.

Yelp
Thought this was going to be one of the best floral shops I've worked with based off their website. However upon ordering my sister's birthday bouquet I was extremely disappointed. For starters I paid $300 for a stylized vase arrangement and instead she got a hand tied bouquet without a vase. Secondly, I am an experienced floral designer myself and based off my experience and knowledge the bouquet she received was worth around $150 at the max. Don't waste your time with this place they are ripping people off big time.

Yelp
I love this place for picking up unique incense as well as amazing sage bundles. They also have really unique Palo Santo and incense burners which I thought were really cool. Actually, they also have amazing candlestick holders and great floral arrangements. If you need a plant or some unique gifts from a local spot that's been around forever from what I hear, check it out. Picked up some more stuff today for my sister's birthday! Definitely will be returning in the near future. Thank you, Asrai Garden! Really cool shop. Happy Holidays~

Yelp
I'm really sad to see this place go. Gorgeous flowers, lovely jewelry, apothecary, and gifts. I loved when they carried illustrations of animals from old textbooks. I have framed a bunch of them and put them all over my house! One of Chicago's most unique spots. RIP to a legend.

Yelp
I ordered a welcome to your new home bouquet for my daughter and SIL. The young women who took my order was so kind and helpful. I knew what I wanted and didn't want and they made my vision come to life- I'm a way that was much more beautiful than I could've pictured! This florist focuses on English garden arrangements. I can't wait to visit it the first time we visit our kids now that they live in Chicago!

Yelp
Charming and helpful. We were visiting Chicago and I saw they carried a jewelry designer I really like, so we popped in. Nice selection and willingness to answer questions. Beautiful space and great experience.

Yelp
If you're just walking in for a bouquet...expect to spend $100+. They are beautiful and they have some exotic flowers. If your going there for anything else, DON'T BOTHER. I was gifted a 3 mo floral subscription and it was sub par and their delivery zone/times were odd. They seemed at first interested in my fav colors/flowers, but didn't bother to include them in any of the bouquets and when I offered constructive criticism was told it "wasn't necessary". There are many more friendly, quality floral shops out there to drop $100 on a bouquet.

Yelp
While ambling the streets of Wicker Park one balmy winter afternoon, my flower-loving friend and I came across Asrai Garden, so naturally, we had to stop in. When you walk in, their black painted walls transport you to a mystical dimension. Billowing bouquets of vibrant flowers greet you at the door and their sweet scent beckons you to explore. As you begin to make your way around the "garden," you are presented with a myriad of aesthetically pleasing products. From antique rings and handmade taper candles to fragrant perfumes and decorative macramé, this one-stop shop is sure to enchant and inspire you. So, if you're looking for truly unique accessories to enhance your #ootd or the aesthetic of your home, or maybe you're searching for standout flowers to freshen up your home or adorn your wedding/ special event, Asrai Garden is worth visiting!

Yelp
I was out of town for my good friend's 30th birthday, so I wanted to make sure she had something special to mark the occasion. She had hired Asrai Garden for her wedding, so I've seen their work and knew it was beautiful. Even with what would be a "simple" birthday delivery arrangement, they truly put care into every stem. I called to order the delivery and they let me know that there was a minimum. I took a leap that they would be worth it, and they definitely delivered. However, they said that they create arrangements with an "English garden" feel - so you have to like that kind of aesthetic. I let them know that I really like ranunculus, and if they could just make it feel special for a big birthday, then I would trust them with the rest. I thought they did a lovely job of creating a beautiful arrangement on my behalf, as if I went out to the suburbs and picked the stems myself!

Yelp
I received these roses today for Valentine's Day from my husband that were delivered to our condo. I thought they were a very sweet gesture but when my husband got home and saw the flowers, he was greatly disappointed. He mentioned that he was expecting something much better for the price he paid. I pressured him to tell me what he paid and eventually, he said they were $150 without the delivery fee. I was shocked!!! These flowers shouldn't be $150 but look more like in the $50-$70 price range. There are only 12 roses in this bouquet and a few greenery add ins. I would expect a $150 bouquet to be full of more roses or other flowers. Also, some of the roses were already wilted when I got them today. If it wasn't for the cost, I would say the flowers were decent but not for the price. Anyways, this place is a rip off and I've gotten either equal quality or much better roses and flowers at target or Mariano's for $25.

Yelp
I saw all the plants through the window and was so excited to find a cute display of plants and other things (jewelry, flowers, crystals, candles) inside. It was super cute but I was confused about whether or not the plants were actually for sale since they looked so decorative. Right when I had walked in a woman who worked there came from behind the counter and while walking towards customers who were already in there before me, looked directly at me but did not smile or greet me. We made direct eye contact. She went back to the counter after checking on them and never spoke to me. I finally had to approach her and asked if the plants were for sale. I continued to walk around and explore the shop. A group of 3 people walked in and she calls to them "hi guys, let me know if you need help with anything". Seemed as though her and her coworker were both too preoccupied to speak to me in particular (her co-worker was actually arranging flowers behind the counter, but also did not speak or even look at me, although he faced the store). This place was appealing and smelled fantastic. I may have bought an overpriced plant had I felt more invited to do so. Sprout is literally down the street with great prices and wonderful staff. You can buy candles at literally at least a handful of other places in Wicker Park. I will not recommend this place whose staff seems to only care to service particular people.

Yelp
This store is AMAZING! Great products and beautiful flowers. I walked in and asked for two random arrangements. I gave them a price for what I wanted to spend for each one and they said no problem. Each one was different and unique. Staff was very friendly! If you want one of a kind arrangements, this is the place!!!

Yelp
I live in Logan and stumble into asrai often. I just love the atmosphere of the space. My husband purchased my engagement ring here and Jackie did my beautiful wedding flowers.

Yelp
I can't gush enough about Asrai. They did my personals for our location wedding in December and BLEW IT OUT OF THE WATER. Adina, the designer who managed my order, listened to all of my desires and then created exactly that on steroids. Serious perfection. Fragrant. Everything. I was so proud to hold my wedding bouquet. I live in NYC and always order flowers from Asrai when sending in Chicago. The recipients often send me a photo of the arrangement once they receive and it never disappoints. I have total trust in Asrai designs. I just wish they delivered to the suburbs so I could share their gloriousness with my Mother and Mother-In_Law! Asrai is worth every penny spent.

Yelp
I went to the opening of Asrai Garden's newest location in the Ace Hotel last night, and it is, hands-down, the most gorgeous, Alice-in-Wonderland-down-the-rabbit-hole kind of space in Chicago. If you're a plant lady, plant daddy, or even just a lover of all things eccentric, artsy, and beautiful, this place needs to be on your radar. It's located in the same building as The Ace Hotel in Fulton Market (hipster haven, if you're non-local, with a continuous list of neat events and a nice bar upstairs with a rooftop view of the city). So Asrai... new neighbor, Asrai Gardens, is the store's second location. The original, fun-sized location is in Wicker Park, if I recall correctly. I just moved to Chicago, so I have yet to go, but I've heard great things! Here's what you need to know about the new shop: I felt like I'd walked into my dreams... They have a variety of fresh cut flowers, dainty/ethereal jewelry, vintage inspired decor, candles, soaps, eccentric magazines... the vibe is equally botanical + bohemian + artistic + eclectic + gothic + romantic. I only wish I could move in and live amongst the gorgeous plants and exotic orchids. I can't wait for you to check this place out! Hope y'all love it as much as I do :)

Yelp
I ordered couple bouquets here before. Didn't have time to browse around but seriously love this store. Love the vibe. So cool. Reminded me of a floral store in San Diego in the university area. I saw the owner lady on HBO!!! Can't help myself to leave a comment. I didn't spend a lot $$ on the bouquets for my aunts but I love them so much cause she put together unique styles. Really... come get some flowers here, you will love them. Just because right ;)

Yelp
Love this place!! Came in for the first time to grab flowers for a friend's birthday, and I am so happy I did. The by-the-stem arrangements are absolutely gorgeous, and totally up my alley. What I mean is I am not great at putting this stuff together, but I picked out a couple flowers I liked and told the florist my budget, and she whipped up such a beautiful arrangement! There are some great candles and jewelry for sale as well. It's unfortunately a little pricey, so I won't be able to indulge as often as I'd like. But nonetheless, I now have a new favorite flower shop and that's pretty great.

Yelp
I'm irreversibly in love with this place! I believe it's listed as a wedding/ floral business. But for me, I viewed it as more of a boutique/ apothecary. They have a wonderful selection of old time body products and oddities: - artisanal soaps - hand balms - esoteric jewelry - taxidermy bats - smudging kits - flowers - tarot cards - gourmet chocolate bars - patchouli/ amber oils - flasks There's a lot of diversity in the products this shop has to offer, which can easily become a messy helter skelter display. But whomever their display designer is did a beautiful job. What a lovely store! I picked up a new deck of Animal Spirit tarot cards that I adore and can't wait to dive into.

Yelp
I googled best and unique florist in Chicago the day before my sons opening of Door 24 Wine . i was so busy at work that I forgot to get flowers ordered early. I called and was told that delivery was not available for the next day. When I told my story about my son and the new business and my schedule, I was told she knew the location of the new business and would walk the flowers over in the morning and stay to create them that evening. The flowers and arrangement were phenomenal , perfect, beautiful with so many compliments during the opening. You rock you went above and beyond and I could not be happier, thank you!

Christina L.

Yelp
This boutique flower shop in like walking into a history museum adorned with fresh unique flowers and lush house plants. The atmosphere draws upon natural beauty with a tasteful mix of quirky and macabre gifts. The shop owners are a delightful and gracious team who make you feel welcomed upon entry and throughout your shopping experience.

Yelp
I have lived in the hood for 10 years and walked past this shop admiring the store front many times over the past decade never stopping in... well that was dumb. It's not just a flower shop, it's so much more. Taxidermy on the walls (both real and fake), hand made mittens, scrimshaw, hand sewn sea creature tree ornaments, candles, and cool ass topiaries (did I get that right?) scenes complete with different ceramic characters to tell a story. There are far to many interesting items to list, pop in and browse through plenty of options for unique gifts for any occasion. Don't forget the flowers.

Yelp
This might be the cutest damn place I've ever stepped into. I hope this is the owners dream of a shop. When I have fantasized about owning a little local neighborhood flower shop, Asrai Garden is it. It is perfect. The look and feel of this place is fantastic. It's small and warm. It's worn in all the right places but current as hell as far as the merchandise that it carries. It's styled perfectly. A photo could be taken from anywhere in this shop at any given time and it would look perfect in any decor/style magazine. The last two times we visited Chicago and made it to the great neighborhood of Wicker Park we have stopped into Asrai Garden. Both times I left inspired and in awe of its beauty. It's part flower shop and part home and gift boutique. The flower shop is a botanical dream. Fresh stems, both common and rare, to choose from. If I lived in a neighborhood that had a shop like this I would have fresh flowers in my house every week. The retail merchandise is great also, perfect place to pick up a host gift or something special for yourself. I'm assuming they do floral arrangements for events here too because on one of the visits here there were the most gorgeous bouquets and centerpieces filling every flat surface in this small little space. On both visits to this shop we dealt with extremely friendly employees. Personable and friendly. Asrai Garden is the cutest damn place.....ever!

Yelp
I can't say enough about Elizabeth and Kristen. When we set out to plan our big day, I was terrified that I wouldn't be able to afford flowers-- so many florists quoted us minimums larger than our entire budget! Luckily, I stumbled across Asrai Garden here on yelp and scheduled a meeting with Elizabeth about 5 months before our wedding. I was encouraged by their website, where their "wedding rant" says it all-- a $1000 wedding deserves the same attention as a $40000 one. Elizabeth was fantastic from the moment we walked in. She worked with our small budget and produced the most gorgeous bouquets for our November wedding. Emails were returned within 2 days, even during the busy summer months, by either Elizabeth or Kristen. They flexed with our budget and allowed me to make changes with no fuss, even allowing us to supply some feathers and to pick up the flowers ourselves to save money. On our wedding day, I received tons of compliments from our guests and the hotel staff. I don't think anyone would believe me if I told them how little we paid for the quality we got. I am so grateful that people like this exist in the otherwise money-hungry, scheming wedding industry. Asrai is A+ !

Yelp
I had a great experience working with Natalie at Asrai Garden. She and her team created a bridal bouquet, boutonniere, and bud vase centerpieces for my small wedding. We never actually met in person and truth be told, I've never been inside their shop, but the result was fantastic. Our job was too "small" for an in-person meeting, so our correspondences were all by quick phone calls and emails. Natalie designed the bouquet and bud vases based on photos I sent of ideas that I liked and photos of my dress, and described it them to me in detail in an email. She gave us a chance to give feedback on the original designs and estimate so that we could make any changes before finalizing the order (which we did). They delivered the bouquet to my home the morning of the wedding, and they delivered the bud vases to our reception venue. Everything was on time and flowers were more beautiful than I could have imagined. The arrangement was spot-on to what I had envisioned, maybe even more so. It was beautiful, fresh, and the flowers lasted for days after the event. The combination of flowers was unique and contained things you won't be able to find at a regular store. My husband and I, and all of our guests gave us many compliments. We paid around $500 total including all flowers, taxes, and delivery to two locations ($400 before tax and delivery). I think the high quality of what we got was well worth the cost.

Yelp
We eloped in 2020, and decided to (finally!) take wedding photos and celebrate with friends at an anniversary party this year. I worked with Jackie and Adina to put together a bouquet using Asrai's weekly floral bouquet service. I knew going in that it would be designer's choice, as far as flowers go, and just asked for a more neutral color scheme. The bouquet was gorgeous, and the team made sure it was wrapped with ribbon so I'd be able to hold it easily for pictures. Smooth pick-up at the Wicker Park location. I highly recommend!

Yelp
Love, love LOVE! I went to a wedding event last March at Asrai Garden, and at the time wasn't really considering having flowers at my wedding. But once I saw their beautiful, artful arrangements, I changed my mind. I contacted Elizabeth and gave her my budget, which was verrrrry low. I only needed a small amount of flowers- pretty sparse centerpieces, 2 bouquets, and 3 bouts. Elizabeth didn't even bat an eye at my budget (which is not the reaction I received from a nearby competitor). We met for a consultation and discussed my idea for centerpieces- basically just clear glass bottles and jars with a couple of stems in each. For the bouquets, we decided on simple peonies (love!) for the MOH, and for mine, just something full and white with green accents. At the last minute I decided to have her attach the locket I wear every day, which wasn't a problem at all. When we met again about a week or so before the wedding, the husband and I were afraid we wouldn't have enough flowers- we had been collecting more jars than bottles, and Elizabeth explained that one stem looks great in a bottle but not in a jar. So out of panic we added a couple hundred dollars to the budget so she could use more flowers. In the end, everything was great. The flowers were GORGEOUS, the centerpieces looked amazing, and my bouquet was so much more beautiful than I had ever imagined. Throughout the whole process, Elizabeth was friendly and generally awesome. She may not be as conservative as a generic florist, but she's not a generic florist- she is a true artist, and the flowers are top-notch. Highly recommended!

Yelp
We worked with Elizabeth Cronin (the proprietor of Asrai) for our wedding flowers, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Our wedding took place in my parents' exquisite garden, so we wanted flowers that would accent that in an understated way, rather than be the center of attention. Our budget for flowers was also very low for a wedding of our size. So we didn't give Elizabeth much to work with, yet she somehow concocted the most beautiful, unique and creative flower arrangements. Bottom line, Elizabeth is really an artist. Equally important, she was so accommodating when it came to our budget. She didn't pressure us to spend more than we wanted to. At one point I think I asked whether she thought we should spend a little more to make the flower arrangements on the larger tables a bit bigger. Surprisingly, she said that wasn't necessary and suggested other, cheaper ways to add abundance to the larger tables. Anyone who's been working with wedding vendors will understand that this response does not happen. Like, ever. She also offered incredible value above-and-beyond simply creating a beautiful flower plan. We had a lot of do-it-yourself decor ideas, and Elizabeth was a fantastic sounding board. She came back with lots of other ideas to elaborate and had lots of website and store suggestions up her sleeve for the cheapest supplies, etc. We'll be going here for our next project: a nice container garden for our terrace!

Yelp
Have some interesting gifts. Have been back twice for horse tail jewelry. They are very helpful. I didn't buy any flowers but watched them build some beautiful bouquets.

Yelp
Our flowers were absolutely beautiful. Elizabeth was very helpful in choosing what I wanted for my girls and then designing a more detailed bouquet for myself. It literally took me about 3 minutes going around the shop with her to figure out what to put in the bouquets. Our bridesmaids had purple hydrangeas and I went with a mix of multiple colored roses, hydrangeas, and a few others. I went in there without a clue about what I wanted other than purple and I was very pleased with the results. I didn't really know what mine would turn out like, but I had faith in Elizabeth and my bouquet was perfect. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. My husband's cousin told me previously that she'd given a budget to Elizabeth and that Elizabeth had actually come in under it, which was pretty cool. I didn't have one, but mentioned that I didn't have a lot to spend on them. My bridesmaid's bouquets (the pretty purple hydrangeas) were $25 and mine was $100. Perfect price for the bride on a budget who wants gorgeous flowers. Some advice: Don't pick hydrangeas if you're getting married on a hot day. It ended up being 80 degrees and one of my girls' bouquets started wilting because of the heat about half way through the day. No big deal, just wanted to let people know. Our wedding was outside though, so indoors should be fine (and it wasn't an issue at all for my husband's cousin who picked blue hydrangeas for her indoor wedding in Aug). Even so, I still wouldn't change my choice and was very pleased. Now if only I knew where to get my bouquet preserved!

Yelp
Let me just preface by saying that flowers and plantlife in general are an obsession of mine. So, when it came time for my wedding I wanted my hands on all the flowers--sort of a therapeutic/control freak thing. I was convinced I could just skip on over to a farmers market or somehow gain entry to Kennicott 2 days before my wedding day and throw together a bouquet and the various accessories with little to no effort. About 2 months before the big day, I was finally convinced by a florist friend to let someone else handle it. That there is too much to do and specific flowers are hard to come by for a civilian such as myself. That's when I found Asrai... I mean, I had 'found' them millions of times before, of course, but I knew exactly what i wanted in a bouquet and was sure there wasn't a place in Chicago that could match it. I was really into the feel of flowers from Saipua [located in NY] and hadn't seen anything here that had that same feel until I looked at Asrai's website. I was blown away. everything was gorgeous and you could see that they had work that was so personal to the people who had ordered it. It was as if they knew how to match the person's personality. So, I emailed Elizabeth, totally petrified of the price I was sure to get for the bouquet of my dreams. She first asked if I could tell her a bit about what I liked so she could price it more accurately and that's when the floodgates opened: "I like this and that and ohh i love these and I love the bouquet you have on this page and the roses from that one and I want them to look just like this but a little like that and blahblahblah...forever." to the point where I had to apologize for my flower craziness. To which she replied: "that bouquet is one of my faves and I totally get you and your craziness" And that is when I fell in love. and as if that wasnt enough, the price was totally ridiculous reasonable [especially for wedding standards] and she found me peonies in November. I love this place. I recommend it to anyone and especially the floral/greenery obsessed. She knows her stuff and is incredibly easy to work with and creative. I have threatened to start working there until she is forced to hire me. We'll see what happens :)

Yelp
I have shopped here for jewelry and small leather goods for years; they obviously also make very nice floral arrangements but my cats just try to eat flowers, so inedible things it is, most of the time. This store definitely represents the edgier end of my taste, but it has also really influenced my taste over time. When I first started wandering in (Wicker Park location) I felt like I wasn't necessarily cool enough to be inside but I was obsessed with that bat wallpaper and I kept coming back. This store introduced me to Animal Handmade (I get compliments from random strangers at checkout counters on my wallet, which I bought here), and like all really good small boutique type stores it both carries a selection of goods that represent someone's coherent taste and has the potential to expand anyone's taste. I also appreciate that I think Elizabeth (the owner) thinks pretty hard about the intersection of economics and social responsibility that is small business ownership, and does so in some public-facing ways. Aesthetics are fun, but they don't exist in a vacuum.

Yelp
I just wanted to thank Liz for all her help on the purchase of a perfume by Carner named Tardes. I found their store on the Carner site and took a chance buying such a personal gift online. The item was wrapped and shipped super quick. I had a bunch of questions and needed some special assistance. Liz went out of her way to ensure that my experience was filled with fast and polite email exchanges and not once did she make me feel I was a bother. I would love to visit the shop when we are in Chicago someday! I will for sure be back to their site now that I feel comfortable and very happy with my experience.

Yelp
I found Asrai while passing through Chicago in 2015 and fell in love with the space and the people who work in it. I'm pretty biased as I interviewed the owner, Elizabeth, for my online magazine -- but the shop is special, and it is a safe and welcoming place. On top of that, every retail aspect is unique and intentional. Would recommend anyone to stop in!

Yelp
Elizabeth did a fantastic job creating our exact look in flowers for our wedding while staying within our budget. From bouquets to boutonnieres to table centerpieces, Asrai provided a cohesive look that matched our venue at Goose Island and The Dress. Could have not been happier. Message me if you have a question.

Yelp
We had a terrible experience with Asrai Gardens and the owner Elizabeth. She overcharged us and provided subpar flowers - but made it a truly terrible experience was her unprofessional attitude. We felt unnecessary manipulated and disrespected. This is our second time posting a review - the first Elizabeth was able to lobby to have removed. She ruined our experience, we do not want to engage with her anymore but we do want to let people know that we were overcharged and treated with disrespect - we chose Asrai Gardens because of Yelp reviews - now we know she has such positive reviews because and no negative reviews that describe real experiences because she has them removed.

Yelp
Always helpful and kind staff with very unique flower arrangements. The store is very cool and is an experience in itself.

Yelp
Gorgeous shop, rude owner & way overpriced. $80 for a ring that gave me a rash & turned my finger green after 2 hrs. My bf who purchased the gift told the owner & wasn't even given an apology but an excuse, that I was probably allergic. Wow.. thanks a lot, how about price the cheap jewelry that smells like cheap copper accordingly. I've previously reviewed a bouquet from here as well that was dying & received a message on here from the owner who was a bit aggressive & you guessed it unapologetic and rude. Cmon customer service is important!

Yelp
I would not recommend Asrai Garden's for your floral needs. I ordered a bright, colorful, uplifting $150 arrangement for my sister-in-law who had a mastectomy last Thursday. Jackie specifically told me that my price point would produce a "Spectacular" arrangement. After the arrangement arrived at the hospital, my sister-in-law requested that it be placed behind the bed so that she didn't have to view it because it reminded her of a Weeping Willow. It was a small, lovely arrangement with 13 flowers (yellow, peachy, and a couple of red). I called the flower shop to see if I could exchange the flowers for something more colorful and uplifting ASAP so that my sister-in-law could enjoy. I waited 2 days for a phone call from Elizabeth, the owner. She left me a voice message telling me that she and her staff were very pleased with how the bouquet turned out and how she received 500+ likes on Instagram. She also proceeded to tell me that they do not sell cheap flowers (such as Gerbers); perhaps, insinuating that I much rather prefer those over hers for the price. I left messages which were not returned....I'm pleased that she and her staff are pleased and that they are a success on Instagram. However, you would think it be most important to please the paying client and to brighten up the day of someone who just had a mastectomy. I am disappointed in their need to be "right" instead of their need for customer satisfaction. In response to Asrai's yelp response, the picture posted on my review was taken 1 hour after the flowers were delivered. It's as accurate as it gets. No trick photography or alterations in any way. Just a snapshot of the bouquet as they were delivered. I think the picture speaks for itself. In fact, I texted the same exact picture to Asrai the day after the flowers were delivered per their request. They responded by telling me via voice message that the picture indeed verifies their quality work and is indeed stunning and beautiful.

Yelp
I ordered bridal bouquet for my friend and was very disgraced. In the morning when I gave to her my present, itlooked well. but at noon flowers began to wilted. I felt myself uncomfortable, because every guest looked at her bouquet and knew it was my present. I am very unhappy and don't recommend this place.

Yelp
I ordered flowers for a girlfriend at 3:00pm today -- they were delivered by 3:45 (her office is 2 blocks away) and they were very pretty!! They also sell Tatine Candles. Double score!

Yelp
Coolest vibe and amazing staff. My bundle of "Christmas" is absolutely perfect. Thanks for making it happen last night.

Yelp
There are some beautiful gifts to be found here. From imported scents to hand-crafted odds & ends and beautiful tableware. I loved exploring the unique selection Asrai Garden had to offer. Its a bit out of my price range but I can appreciate how special these gifts are. Maybe someday I'll actually be able to buy something here! Haha. Definitely check it out. Even if you're just window shopping.

Yelp
Asrai Garden's bridal bouquets and table centerpieces for our wedding were absolutely stunning, gorgeous, elegant, creative, and expertly arranged. They captured the aesthetic perfectly. However, the flowers for church were very simple for the price and wilted during the ceremony. It was embarrassing to carry dying roses to the Virgin Mary. I was mostly pleased with the arrangements (which get 4.5 stars), but I found it difficult to work with Natalie. The cost did not break the bank but definitely was not a deal, and therefore not worth it for the lack of collaboration. There are many good florists in this city and I would not personally recommend this place although I'm sure other brides have had a better experience.

Yelp
Love, love, love Asrai Garden. This is my go to spot for flowers and gifts for the wife. The staff is super helpful and they always have beautiful flowers available. You will find all sort of things here. This is not your run of the mills flower shop.

Yelp
My favorite flower shop in the city. Wonderful human beings, wonderful floral and gifts, they are just the best.

Yelp
Amazing, simply amazing. I was married August 18th 2012, and up until the last week of July I had been having a difficult time finding a florist that had time for me, maybe because I had such a small request (we only needed to have the bride's bouquet and the groom's boutonniere made as the bridal party all had paper flowers). Anyway, even though it as only a few weeks before the wedding Natalie at Asrai was more than helpful pulling something together for us. She took down some notes, emailed me some flower options, and really worked for the style I wanted within the price range I wanted to spend. For the bouquet I wanted lambs ear (something grey) in the mix and my wedding colors were red, white and black. To keep it from looking Christmas-y she mixed in some peaches and oranges that kept it in the summer feel. The boutonniere was made with some pieces from the bouquet and was that perfect blend of masculine and colorful. The bouquet was perfect. The boutonniere was perfect. Everything we could have wanted. And, their shop is incredible. Can't recco this place enough!

Yelp
Asrai Garden did an outstanding job for our wedding! I had seen their work at my sister-in-law's wedding the previous year and knew that I wanted to find a florist whose creativity and expertise I could trust. I basically walked in for a consultation with fabric swatches and the following list: - Need ceremony flowers - Need centerpieces + plan for giant fountain (what do we do with this??) - No roses Elizabeth showed me examples of different flowers and offered ideas, while taking cost and supplies that we already had to work with into consideration. The decisions were easy and we had everything fairly set during that first visit. On the big day, my mind was racing so much that I completely forgot about the flowers until I saw them before the ceremony - simply stunning. I highly recommend Elizabeth and her team.

Yelp
Extremely overpriced. Rude staff. Minimum delivery fee of $55 - and then they charge an additional fee on top of that! They hang up on you if you ask too many questions, and they are not accommodating at all! For a local store - what a disappointment!!! Many other places to go.
