"Assemble Marketplace is a big new restaurant, bar, market, and events spaced all combined, Berkeleyside explains. And Tommy’s BBQ Company has also set up shop just outside, serving brisket, ribs, and chicken, with mac and cheese and sweet corn on the side." - Becky Duffett

I came to the restaurant Saturday afternoon, first time since the new owner took over. Instead of the previous for hall concept it’s an actual sit down restaurant and the owner was there to introduce herself. I was pleased to see oysters on the menu, $3 a piece. And the menu was good! The view is amazing. Very clean restrooms with changing table for kids. I saw previous comments and was hesitant to go but so glad I did. I saw the owner is working hard to make the place better and it’s truly unique place, so I’m wishing her well and will be back for those oysters!

The ambiance was very nice and the waitress was very friendly. However the kitchen was super backed up and my order took 40 min to arrive. It sat at the counter for 15 minutes (i guess they wanted to wait until my friend’s dish was ready) by the time we both got it mine was cold. I had to send it back and it took an additional 20 min. His fish and chips were far better than my eggs Benedict (they were just ok). I would recommend getting something else from the menu.

Edit: As this used to be one of my favorite brunch spots, I have since tried again, and had a better experience. That said, in this experience, they were out of many menu items. I get the sense that they are struggling, like many places are. This time, they were more attentive and helpful, though. I hope they manage to pull through and expand back into the larger (and fully stocked) menu that they once had. ....................... Waited at the door for several minutes before being greeted and told to seat myself. Waited at the table for 15-20 minutes without any human interaction whatsoever. The restaurant looked post rush, and was not busy. One server (presumably) was doing side work the whole time. Another, the one who told me to seat myself, bussed tables while I sat unattended. Got up and went down the street to Golden Gate Bistro. I was able to drive there, park, order, and begin eating, in less than the amount of time I waited at Assemble Kitchen

My coworkers and I decided to celebrate my birthday at Assemble Kitchen during our lunch break and it was a decision we didn't regret. The service was exceptionally warm and friendly, with a special mention to all the bilingual staff who went above and beyond to make our lunch memorable. Their thoughtful gesture of presenting a beautiful cake and singing happy birthday truly touched my heart. I opted for the chicken pot pie, and it was a culinary delight, bursting with flavor. My coworkers also enjoyed their meals immensely, each dish being a testament to the chef's skill and creativity. 🥗 🍲 🍅 The restaurant's spacious, open layout exuded a trendy warehouse vibe, adding to the overall dining experience. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Assemble Kitchen to explore more of their enticing menu offerings. If you're searching for a place with exceptional food, welcoming service, and a unique ambiance, look no further than Assemble Kitchen. It's the perfect destination for any celebration or casual dining experience. - Gracias por su amable servicio ❤️

Can't stop coming back. Rustic elegance, awesome bay view, excellent customer service, and the bar make awesome cocktails. This place is a must do. It's worth the walk around the pier. The food was outstanding. The chilaquiles egg breakfast, wow! What a delight.

Google
Cat friendly place to grab some good food. The service was decent and we found table when we got here. We had wet breakfast burrito, two scrambled eggs with side of Cajun potatoes and sourdough bread. The jam (blueberry I think) was the highlight. The food wasn't warm enough for my liking. The vibe and songs were fun.

Went to lunch with my mom and managed to catch happy hour! Great prices for their cocktails and super friendly staff focused on a great experience for patrons. The inside is very open and has a relaxing vibe.

Google
Went here twice recently and thought my bad experience the first time was just a one-off, but after this last time, I'm really disappointed. Food was slow to arrive and then it wasn't what we ordered. Management was nowhere to be found and servers had to share a checkout device which delayed us even further. Place was cold and server asked us twice if anyone had taken our order - (and she was the one that had taken our order!) Can't beat the location. It's beautiful, but next time I'll visit the museum next door and pass on this restaurant. Really sad, as I have enjoyed it in past years.

Yelp
I hate to start off the new year with a less than stellar review, but there it is. A friend of ours treated us to brunch at Assemble. We had expectations of having a nice dining experience experience but ended up disappointed. Their winter hours posted on their website list Saturday and Sunday 11:00 am - 4:00 pm. Arrived about 11:15am and they were not open. Another customer waiting at an outdoor table and said they were opening at 11:30am. When we finally stepped in, they said to choose anywhere we wanted. We chose a tall table between the kitchen and bar. The room seemed uncomfortably cold inside. There was one heater we could see that was on, which was in the kitchen area. We ordered and our food server started us off with coffee, a small pitcher of milk (was not offered half and half) and a bottle of water for the table. We watched as the kitchen put up plates of food in the service area where they sat for several minutes. Eventually our plates were brought to the table. The plates themselves were cold. Our friend took two bites of her now lukewarm soup and sent it back to be reheated. She seemed okay with the sandwich, I didn't think to ask how it was. Hubby finished his breakfast - potatoes, bacon, sourdough toast and eggs over easy. In retrospect, he wished he had some jam to go with his toast but he didn't think to ask, and it wasn't offered. The California Benedict was disappointing. My food looked appetizing on the plate but it was not very delicious. The egg yolks were jammy, not runny at all, and the Hollandaise sauce was flavourless. The country potatoes were were tasty enough but they were not "country". They had a thin, gold crunchy coating that you find on frozen, battered potato fries, but in our case they were potato cubes. I still ate everything on my plate, because 1) it would have been wasteful not to, and 2) I was just plain hungry. Our food server was friendly and courteous but our food was a hit and miss overall. Maybe their burgers are better, will have to check it out. With only ten items on the menu, everything should be on point! It was fairly quiet, the dining room might have gotten half full the 1-1/2 hours we were there. Afterward, we took a stroll around the pier and hung out for a bit by the water, enjoying the sun.

Yelp
The cheeseburger and impossible burger were delectable! So juicy! And the giant pickle was a plus. Service was a little slow on a Sunday (many people were watching the 49ers play). I wish there were a way to order inside and then sit outside, that way you at least get your order in instead of waiting for someone to take it. Our server was very kind and thoughtful (offered us a high chair for our baby) and was very on top of things for it having been his second day on the job!

David L.

Yelp
Food - 4 Service - 3 Value - 4 I would rate this overall 4-star if you are eating here so that you can get a pass to the Columbia Employee Store around the corner (discounted gear), and just 3 stars if that is not important to you. I had the Grilled Chicken Pesto sandwich which had generous portions and some fries, which also had generous portions too. Service was a tad on the slow side, and the food took longer than it should have as well.

David C.

Yelp
Jason is so fri belt and makes great drinks and margaritas. They offer a great weekend brunch with chicken and waffles ,breakfast burrito and chilaquiles. They have weekday happy hour 3-5 with great specials. I wanna try the Tri tip steak salad. M A great place for events family and work Take a hike along the waterside path 6 miles, and end up here.

Yelp
I keep wanting this place to be better than it is. Located next to the Craneway Pavilion at the historic Ford Assembly Plant, the warehouse space has gone through a few iterations in the past few years including a more upscale eatery also named Assemble (review: https://yelp.to/BNY3yiTTZX). Now the menu is more like a Shoney's or even an IHOP down to the pancakes. Still feeling like a big turbine room, the restaurant itself has a testosterone-driven vibe that makes liquor and bar bites understandable as the main attractions. Jamie W. and I first came here three months ago to have cocktails and chips during a walk on the Richmond Marina. Jamie had the $17 Waterfront Margarita made with tequila, lime juice, agave, and Grand Marnier float. I went for the $16 Riveting Rosie with gin, lemon juice, agave, and strawberry purée. Both were fine but just look at the picture (photo: https://yelp.to/axrWcYFKzn). The unsipped glasses were only 2/3 full! We shared the $12.99 platter of Chips, Salsa and Guacamole (photo: https://yelp.to/0q6Nzp-Cii). It was pretty standard and seemed pricy for the serving size. Well, I came back by myself today and decided to try lunch here. I started with the same Waterfront Margarita Jamie had and this one was gratefully filled to the rim (photo: https://yelp.to/Z-LJw8VFZE). I ordered the $13.99 New England Style Clam Chowder with Toast (photo: https://yelp.to/4xlnhEw_cu). The chowder was a bit on the thin side, but the toast was aces and great for dipping. The $12.99 Lemon Pepper Wings were way overseasoned, and the watery ranch dressing didn't help (photo: https://yelp.to/DSyDyNVDDK). Yeah, I wish it was better. FOOD / DRINKS - 3 stars...food was lacking with the chowder and toast the best item AMBIANCE - 4 stars...the coolest part of the experience SERVICE - 2.5 stars...very scattered, multiple servers, not well organized TOTAL - 3 stars...middling for all its wasted potential RELATED - Exploring Richmond? Yelp
Spent the day visiting a couple of excellent Nurseries in Richmond and checked out this food spot for lunch on the water. The people were so friendly & helpful!. Brunch/lunch menu- got the french dip and a draft beer. Super delicious but not traditional- it was made with burger meat yet tasted amazingly similar. Highly recommend. My friend got the fish & chips which was my 2nd choice and she said it was so good. Worth driving out to if you are in the area. Interesting to see the water view to the city and all the different cities on the bay from there. It is in a large airy old? Building that is spacious but not echoey or cold. We got a nice booth table and it was very comfortable on a mixed rainy/sunny day. The vibe is nice and relaxed and located right next to the Rosie the Riveter museum.

R G.

Yelp
Ordered to go. It was fairly quick and tasty burger on a rainy day. Lots of people eating there before 4pm closing. Open and lit floor plan because they are inside the old Ford Assembly Plant which was essential to building Jeeps for WWII. The restaurant is next to the Rosie the Riveter WWII Home Front Visitor Center and a Pickleball club. Also around the corner is the Columbia Sportswear Company "Employee Store" -invite only. You can pickup a "ticket" to enter the store from Rosie or the restaurant. Win-win all around!

Yelp
This space has been home to several restaurants and I think this model works much better. It's now one entity inside the space with sit down service. We ate at the bar and our bartender Haley was very friendly. Enjoyed an Autumn Sangria and chicken and waffles. Delicious dish! I've always enjoyed this area and hope this place has long success.

Wells L.

Yelp
Came in on a Saturday as a midpoint for our bike-ride on the bay trail. Tucked away next to the Rosie the Riveter national park site. Atmosphere was nice, large windows let lots of light in and the old factory setting was homie. Typical American bar food which was pretty good. I got the french dip which had a rather large crusty bread which wasn't my favorite, but the flavor was still delicious. Fries were on point. Not super crispy, but enough and perfectly salted. My biggest gripe was the service. I had one lady with long curly hair straight up ignore my requests twice. The first time as we sat where I asked for a high chair. 10 min later with no high chair I asked someone else for it and got it promptly. Maybe she didn't hear me, I try to give her the benefit of the doubt. But a little later I asked for an additional plate and silver wear set as she passed and she acknowledged my request, and just never brought it. Didn't ask someone else to bring it, I just watched her straight up ignore my request. 10 min later I ask another server who brought it promptly. 3 stars for food that was fine but with terrible service. I probably won't come back on my own, but would give this spot one more chance if someone else wanted to come.

Mariana D.

Yelp
Zero issues with the new management! Love this place- airy and open, great for our little family and our toddler . We can run around outside AND have a cocktail in one hand Love the bartender- try the French 580 and Rosie the riveter they are PERFECTLY mixed !!!!

Adam A.

Yelp
Let's start off with they need to retrain their whole staff.. I've been in the business for many years. We arrived and got a table for four. That's all we got there oh, and the water... Then the waitress arrived and took our order . 45 minutes later still no food arrived so we left. Complete management change needs to happen here.. or if the owner doesn't want to embrace it, please sell it to somebody else. It's a beautiful ambience and restaurant..

Yelp
Very quiet place tucked away at the edge of the water with a drop-in casual vibe yet a touch of elegance -- nice plates and glasses. No wait at lunch on a Saturday. Easy parking with a gigantic lot nearby. We ordered the flank steak salad which was great. Heirloom tomatoes and fresh avocado and the right amount of dressing (I can't stand soggy salads so this was great). My fam and I are always on the quest to find the best nachos around and we were surprised and delighted to find some of the best at Assemble. Absolutely fantastic loaded nachos; we added pulled pork. All the ingredients are fresh and the addition of the chopped mango and cotija cheese made it feel so gourmet. The service is nice and friendly; I will note that the food took awhile to get here but it was worth the wait.

Dog L.

Yelp
Wanted to love this place. Food was OK, but service was lackluster at best. We had to be specifically ask to get service outside and then they never came back to check on us once food was there. We had to go inside to ask for bill, could have just walked away. Seriously, it's not that hard. Scenery is beautiful though, and you can take your dog after the dog jaunt at Point Isabel b/c there is seating outside. Rosie the Riveter museum next door also fun and worth the experience!

Carly K.

Yelp
An amazing weekend option! Beautiful views and wonderful staff!l We even popped into the pickleball pavilion next door for another drink!

E. Y. G.

Yelp
I like supporting local business but unfortunately this place is is not recommended. All food ordered was bland and service was lacking. Only one server for the whole place on a Sunday so everything was really slow. Ambience is cavernous and eerily quiet. Some elevator music would be better than hearing everyone chew.

Jacqueline F.

Yelp
This has gone from a five star to a negative four star review. This place used to be great! But the good spots - Brezo, Tommy's (OK), and another fancy pace with food in fridges. Their offerings now are not fantastic! But that bar was amazing. The young woman making drinks was really good! She made the syrups that went into the drink and these syrups had herbs and fruit. Unfortunately, she was alone so she had to make the drinks, wash the glasses and silverware, bus the tables and run the food. I think they didn't want to pay a talented black woman so they made her do everything. Not good, so they lost us (we were literally across the street). Avoid this place and these people. Watching someone working so hard, apologizing for being late taking time and so on, while the owners are actually watching is cruel, racist, and speaks to how little we are valued. I don't know where this young woman will end up, but she deserves much more and much better. As do we.

Dr Donna S.

Yelp
Worst brunch experience. Completely understaffed. Waited 1/2 hour for a menu then the owner came out and said it would be another 1/2 hour before we could order before we reminded her again we'd already been here 1/2 hour. Asked for jam and they were out so sent syrup instead for our bread and said it was honey. Great place for drinks, but I won't eat here again. Severely understaffed.

Jessica V.

Yelp
Service was great. They really made a conscious effort to keep checking in to make sure all was good. Both the server and the food runner were extremely gracious. Nice view, a clean wide open space, pretty diverse menu selection. Food came quickly and they gave us some extra Korean wings on the house. The effort was really there in experience and wanted to recognize it! Thanks guys.

Thinh V.

Yelp
Pretty disorganized and poor services, making reservation here is a joke as nothing is ready or saved.

Twila J.

Yelp
Super cute location, very nice service. The food was very - mid. The chips in the salsa plate were very stale, the breakfast burrito had sooooooft eggs, like my friend had 3 bites and couldn't take anymore. I had the avocado toast which, was good - hard to mess that up. Seems like the place is getting up and running so maybe it will be awesome in the future. The vibe is cool, the food was just so blah.

mj r.

Yelp
Everything was great!! Highly recommend Reuben sandwich and eggs with large link sausage. Espresso martini was one of the best I've had!!!

Ed S.

Yelp
CRANEWAY PAVILION / Assemble I was going to give this a 3 star but decided to drop it to 1 star. 5/25/24 5:22pm There were 2 tables seated when I arrived. +1 more couple when I was leaving I wanted a Cesar Salad to Go. The waitress seemed confused, then said they were out of that order? The Bartender stepped in, and said let me check on that. He went to the walk-in refrigerator and retrieved a bin of Romaine lettuce. This was handed off to the cooking staff. This Cesar Salad came with Salmon. The Salmon tasted good. Traditional Cesar Salad does not have meat on top. Meat would be and extra charge. When I go home I notice that the Romaine Lettuce was not torn or chopped but cut to fit the container. The Parmesan cheese and dressing was good When the waitress brought my order I paid in cash. This was very confusing. Printing the recipe was an issue. Apparently they did not have change, I gave up on the coins. I made 2 email attempts to contact CRANEWAY PAVILION / Assemble NO response

Bill H.

Yelp
Great interior, very good beer and good food. I had the Ahi Pike Bowl which was quite good. My wife had the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup, the latter of which was praised

Al H.

Yelp
Just left Assemble Kitchen. Arrived at 11:30 and took a seat. Wait person brought me water and menu and asked if I wanted to order anything first. I asked for an Irish Coffee which seemed to confuse her but I feel is fairly normal for Sunday brunch. 15 minutes later, no Irish Coffee and nobody came to take my breakfast order either. So I left. Restaurant was maybe one third full inside and two people sitting outside so not like they were too busy. Not going to beg for service so I left.

Clara B.

Yelp
Food, drinks and service was great!!! Definitely hidden but great place. My husband and I went for valentines. It was empty only one other table when we arrived and thought maybe it's not that great. We were wrong. More than what we expected. Drinks were just right I got a cosmo and my husband a blue moon. The cosmo was perfect. We ordered a variety of dishes to try them out and was not disappointed. I think the only thing I would recommend is more variety in foods maybe add some seafood dishes other than oysters and expand on the dessert menu.

Line H.

Yelp
The food was descent and the atmosphere was fine, the windows offer a lots daylight which is nice. Now this is the place I have gotten the worst service of my life. The waitress didn't took our order correctly, given the time we had to wait we decided to not send back. After that we realized that she will not bring us silverware and it took a whole 5 minutes for us to have a sight of a waitress to ask for some. We never got our drinks, towards the end of the meal we asked for them to be canceled except for the kids one, guess what ? We were charged for everything.

Cooper H.

Yelp
Such a fun place for our event! We loved the charcuterie board and decorations! 10/10 would recommend booking a corporate event here!

Robert F.

Yelp
Made reservation for company party. Me and my 20 employees showed up for Thursday 12:15 reservation. Place was empty doors were locked and no signs of anyone anywhere. Checked side door, Called to a full voicemail not excepting messages. I think they are out of business unfortunately. Used them for company partys before and they were great.

James L.

Yelp
We seated ourselves as it was directed in this place. Waited 10 minutes and no one came by to bring the menu. We walked out. What a Terrible service.

Mary R.

Yelp
First time after the big switch over. Had brunch there food is ok. Drinks were too liquored up for me. Had to send my plate back poached eggs were pretty much boiled. And bacon was still wiggly not cooked and by the time our plates came to us the potatoes were cold. I would give them another chance and hopefully have a better experience.

Nori W.

Yelp
Very unprepared for brunch! Ran out of special! We weren't greeted when we walked in!

Reeta K.

Yelp
This place was a mess in every regard. This was a very busy Sunday and the staff were absolutely unprepared to handle it. It took forever to get seated even though we had a reservation. It then took forever to get our order taken, they were out of dishes, the food was over cooked with super small portions and very high prices. Overall a truly disappointing experience and we definitely won't be back.

Makaela S.

Yelp
Love this place. The kahlua French toast is delicious. Love the variety of food that is available. Super friendly staff. Love the outdoor patio seating with the city views right on the water. Ambiance is very chill. Perfect on a sunny day. Great for groups of people or just a brunch date.

Jason M.

Yelp
Rip off. Ordered extra tri tip on two meals (+$7.99 each), but the portion was still not enough to fee a bird. My son's kids meal had much more portion at chipotle. cool area. nice joint, but i would only order a burger for $19.99. at the end of the day, i would just park and walk around the area and skip this place.

Brownie X.

Yelp
Service is good and you can get a pass of Columbia Sports ee store in this restaurant

Serene C.

Yelp
The food here is very very good and the servings are huge. I have never heard of this restaurant, but I am glad to know of it now. It really should be more advertisement about this . The location is so beautiful as well as the restaurant. I love the ambiance and the staff too especially the owner/manager Mr. Cooper

Mac G.

Yelp
Horrible service rats in their building when service is open pretty gross I'd never want to go there again I can't believe this place is open there service n food is trash the owner there miss treats there staff really bad now I see why stability in there is a problem spend your bucks else were stay healthy

Camille P.

Yelp
I don't know if the restaurant doesn't have the resources to staff for the demand or if the owners simply don't care. The staff was very friendly, informed us of the wait due to staff shortage which we were fine with. We didn't mind the wait. The food was fine, but it wasn't great. I had the tri-tip salad (medium rare). The steak was very well done. It was particularly special. I dunno. I think the thing that annoys me the most is that this great location seems to squandered on a lackluster experience that hasn't been loved on by the benefactor at all; And I don't think it's the staff's fault. The staff was great and you can tell they are doing the best they can with resources they've got. I'm going off of a hunch so take this with a grain of salt, but the staff seems to have been left in the lurch by the owner. Only two servers and a bar tender were on the floor and they covered several tables inside and out, no busser, no runners, no dishwasher, so they're doing all jobs on the floor. I don't understand the lack of investment in this restaurant by the owner because it's a great location with a reliable weekend crowd. Best of luck to the staff. I hope the owner figures out if they actually want that restaurant or not sooner than later.

Deborah C.

Yelp
Saturday brunch here May 11, 2024 was nothing short of TORTURE. we arrived at noon to an almost empty restaurant. There were only two other tables and maybe a solo guy outside. Nonetheless, no food appeared for well over an hour. We ordered chicken and waffles to share, and each two side eggs, mine to be poached, my friend's SOFT scramble. She mentioned the word "soft" several times, for emphasis. When our cold and petrified waffle arrived, with a small piece of cold fried chicken, it was topped by a blob of hard butter (or maybe margarine), and there was some sticky FAKE maple syrup all over the mess. My friend's eggs were both cold and overcooked, while I received a single extremely overcooked hard poached egg, which I returned. Hope springs eternal, but the replacement eggs only showed up as we were leaving, so those had to be returned as well. There must be new owners here, hoping to trade off of what had been a pretty fun restaurant. I loved biking here for breakfast, but this will be the last time.

Christopher M.

Yelp
Im generally not on to complain but, the food was good, the service was sub par all in all a very poor experience. Please go back to what you know otherwise I won't be coming back ever again..

Allie F.

Yelp
We loved assemble as it was before so thought we'd give the new place a shot. We were pretty unimpressed by the food. The oysters were fine, the clam chowder was decent except that the bread that came with it was a bit stale like it'd been sitting out for a while. The tri-tip salad just okay, the steak was chewy and I probably could've made it at home. For the price, just not what we would have hoped for. The staff was pleasant but not overly attentive for the price.

Nicky G.

Yelp
Be warned: This is not the happy, lively Assemble you once knew with Rocky Island Oyster Co., Tommy's BBQ Co. etc., filled with good vibes and even better food. Instead, some folks came up from Los Angeles, kicked out all of the good restaurants to replace it with their own, fired and bad-mouthed all the best people there, yet they kept the name "Assemble" (imagine the tone deafness). Where there was once a wonderful space brimming with joy, there's now just a sad desert. And they want to build like 15 members-only pickleball courts in the old Ford assembly plant. What a bunch of bougie clowns. Oh and we went there one time (which is how we found out it changed) and the food and drinks were as middling and boring as could be.

Katy D.

Yelp
I've visited Assemble Kitchen twice recently and both times we had a great experience. The first time we just meant to pop in and have a drink. Noah, the bartender, concocted a wonderful Manhattan for me and a Gin Martini for my partner. We decided to stay a little longer and enjoy the view so we ordered chicken nachos. They were THE BEST with plenty of oozy cheese, crisp chips, big hunks of chicken, and all the other good stuff that makes Nachos great. Big win! The second time I was there was for lunch and my guest and I both ordered the same thing, the Greek Power Bowl with Marinated garbanzo beans, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, kalamata olives, pickled red onions, arugula, basmati rice, hummus, tzatziki, feta & Greek vinaigrette. Yum! I asked if I could swap the Basmatti for brown rice and it was no problem. I highly recommend this place for its beautiful location and great food.

C C.

Yelp
Has a new owner, no current business license and does pay its vendor. portions shrank and service is spotty because staff isn't paid enough. Locals boycott the adjacent Cranway pavilion usage because the owner failed to obtain all and every necessary permit, including liquor license and food sale. not going back because it received seven heath depart violations in December.

Mrs L.

Yelp
Assemble Kitchen is located next door to the Rosie the Riveter Museum, right on the water. What a wonderful lunch event we had at AK today! We had a large group of about 30 people!! The food was absolutely delicious! The Smash Burger was flavorful, yummy fries, baked spicy beans, perfect cole slaw, creamy macncheese, and a gorgeous Cesar salad! At the bar we had mocktails of cranberry juice, seltzer, and lime. So refreshing! Great food, great service!

Joie S.

Yelp
First time going to Assemble since it reopened under new ownership. The drink I ordered, which was a long time coming, was not done properly so I asked for it the way it is normally served. Then it was just OK. I've had much better. I ordered the club sandwich on my waitress' recommendation. It was made with tasteless turkey lunchmeat, the cheap kind that has no resemblance to real turkey. The avocado was only on one half of the sandwich and the "grilled sourdough" was barely grilled. Service was incredibly slow. I waited a long time for my drink, then for my sandwich and when I asked for the missing avocado for the second half of my sandwich, it took asking 3 people and 15 minutes before it arrived.

Yelp
My family and I wanted to partake in some afternoon food fare as well as some historical information. We made our way on over to ex-Ford plant to learn about the wartime work environment and eat in an industrial setting. One member of our party was famished beyond belief so we decided to start with our food and then visit the museum. We were sorely disappointed upon our entrance to find a table would not be ready for 45 minutes. However, we rolled with the punches, got on the waitlist and set a timer. The museum was great! Super informative and moving. After the 45 minutes was up we reentered the establishment to find that a table had not been saved for us and the host did not remember that we had been put on the waitlist. We observed that several groups had been seated since our initial attempt to get a table, which made us upset and frustrated. We practically had to fight to get a table but it was finally granted to us so we sat down. Our waiter was the bus boy, which should have been a sure sign that our time at this place was not going to get better. Our party ordered a lemonade and a Diet Coke for beverages and a tuna melt, chicken Caesar salad and a burger with no cheese (remember this detail for later). The drinks did not come for 30 minutes and we had to get up and ask for them. The Diet Coke was actually a Coke and the person who had made the drinks ran over quickly to switch the beverage out claiming they had made a mistake. When the food arrived, after we asked about its location since we had been waiting for eons, the burger had cheese. We requested a remake. The busboy had vanished and we were being waited on by someone else. Oh also we were promised the check but had to go up and get that ourselves too as it took far too long to make it to our table. As we were about to leave, the busboy magically reappeared to ask with surprise "did you ever get your food?" Ambience was good though but if you're looking to visit the Rosie the riveter museum, pack a lunch.

Yelp
For the price level, we found it pretty meh. My wife and daughter liked their cheeseburger, but weren't over the moon about it. I had a patty melt which was pretty average. Fries were smushy. To judge strictly from the quality of the food, Barneys is better on every level. Service was... not great. The waitpeep was friendly enough but seemed to forget we existed as soon as they walked away. We had to get their attention three times over the course of the meal to bring us what they promised. They apologized but honestly, they didn't seem stressed out, overworked or tired at all, just in their own world. If they didn't have one of those portable wireless order taking doodads, I'm not sure what we would have been served.

Yelp
Great venue. Tasty food. Personable service. And the view is incredible. Most definitely a must for meet ups, brunch, lunch.
