Catskills Restaurants Host ‘Severance’ Finale Party in Upstate New York | Eater NY

"A Kingston venue hosting the finale screening party on Friday, March 21, with doors opening at 6 p.m. and the show screening starting at 8 p.m.; people can RSVP online and attendance is free. The hosts frame the event as something 'the mysterious and important company Lumon would approve of' and tease activities like a defiant jazz dance-off, the innie-and-outie costume contest, themed drinks and playful surprises — fruit sculptures, egg bars, baby goats, and blue balloons are all hinted at." - Nadia Chaudhury

Great venue with lots of potential. It’s an old school building with lots of dance floor space. Stairs to get in and up to the main dance area. I’ve been here a few times to enjoy different types of DJ’s including a great Halloween Party. Drinks available including NA. Get your tickets online in advance. Popular events get sold out. Security presence is visible, but not intrusive. Plenty of bathrooms. During a large event they had an at your own risk coat rack. Parking off street. Check out the website for future events.

Attended both my first and my second show at Assembly this week (Kimbra on Thursday, Habibi on Saturday/today). Loved everything about the space- yes, it feels like a school (because it was one), but that's not really a bad thing at all. Honestly, at times it felt like I was back at a high school dance, only this time it was with a couple hundred adults instead of teenagers, the music was much better and so was the sound (loved the sound quality). Aside from the music, the bar is reasonably priced and the bathrooms are easy to find and super clean. The staff were really chill and inviting as well. Definitely will be attending more shows at Assembly in the future! 🙌

Former school building that has had its assembly space restored for intimate performance. Very unique. Sound quality is good, and due it's size there's not a bad seat in the house.

Our first time n we will be back for sure. I have a couple of requests please. For a disabled person waiting in line to get tickets and no other option needs to please be corrected. The air-conditioning was not up for the task, it was an extremely hot n very humid day. I hope next time they have cider, especially to highlight our local producers please. The room is intimate n has good acoustics. Staff was chill, kind n respectful!! Jah bless 🙏

I mostly use a wheelchair to get around and I was able to thoroughly enjoy the show here with no problem -- such a win for me! Everyone I dealt with was super nice and one of the owners even gave me his phone number so I could text him if I needed a hand with anything during the show. (Thanks, Drew!) There were a few sound blips -- the vocals for the show sounded a bit harsh at a few points -- but it wasn't a problem overall and I know they're still working out kinks. Overall, great and welcoming venue!

Yelp
Great new performance space and terrific sound -- for inaugural performance by the dynamo Felice Brothers. It's a (nice, airy) room on the third floor of a former school up stairs and standing with 450 others and a bar for beer and water. And really good sound!

Yelp
Fantastic place for a comfortable casual inclusive environment. Loved the diverse ages in the the room.
