Google
Assembly Row is my favorite place to shop and enjoy special moments with my family. I love walking around the area, exploring its wide variety of stores, and then taking a break to have lunch at one of the many great restaurants and bars. The diversity of shops means there’s always something new to discover, whether you’re looking for fashion, home goods, or unique finds. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to spend the day. It’s also a great place to catch a movie at the cinema, adding even more to the experience. Assembly Row truly has it all—shopping, dining, entertainment, and a lively environment for the whole family.

Google
Lots of parking in the lots and parking garage. First three hours of parking are free. Lots of shops, cafes, and restaurants. Some stores had good deals. They also had lots of fall/Halloween decorations spread out in the area. Spent the day shopping and eating here.

Google
Tatte is our absolute favorite, the employees are always happy and pleasant. So many choices on pastries to sandwiches and all of them are delicious. The batista bar makes delicious coffee. Love the ambiance, it's very welcoming and the cleanliness is always appreciated.

Google
One of the best places in the city! There's a ton of stores and restaurants to go to, and the whole feel is amazing! It's also right off the orange line with walkable stretches between stores. I definitely will come back here many, many times to explore more stores and restaurants!

Bud P.

Google
a nice selection of shops and restaurants, laid out well with easy parking garage options. the smoke shop BBQ at one end is always very good. there's also a Mike's pastry. Columbia sportswear is a must visit every time, as well as Yankee candle. right off the highway, pretty easy to get to especially in off times of traffic. give it a shot.

Stacey M.

Google
Great store and restorant selection! We had fun shopping, dining, and watching people playing volleyball. Movie teathe is a great add-on.

Hayes W.

Google
Nice outlet mall that has trees planted along the center road. There are good restaurants, cafés and retail stores along the way. Convenient parking in the multiple level garage that includes 3 hours free parking and if you want to stay longer you can get your ticket validated by one of the businesses you buy from.

J F.

Google
I accidentally left my Assembly review on the Arsenal mall page but they're much the same. Assembly Row is the one with the movie theater but no free parking if your movie runs too long. Beautiful during the holidays though, and lots of outlets. Pick your poison, at least there are multiple viable ways to exit this mall - though there are likely to be pedestrians in the way

Yelp
Good amount of shops and parking garage. Went to Cafe Nero during summer and it was quite busy but the staff handled the line like champs. Love that they have nike, bath and body and a Lego store. Great variety of shops for shopping and coffee. There's also a pickleball court here I saw during my Cafe trip.

Yelp
I came to this location because I was going to the AMC theater to check out a movie. This place is so freaking cool! There's any shop or restaurant that you could think of! There's a few parks, areas where people live with loft style and regular style apartments. The selection and the variety of things to do are unmatched and you could definitely come here if you want to have a low-key night out! It doesn't really get crowded, and it's not very loud. It's extremely organized and it's clean. I love coming here!

Yelp
Very nice, urban shopping center with many options for food, drink, and shopping such as home decor stores, clothing stores, and more. You could easily spend a day here popping in and out of what's offered. We enjoyed strolling leisurely with our little dog as well as sun and conversation on various comfortable outside patios with treats in hand. Parking isn't always easy, but we were lucky and grabbed a spot. Free 3 hour parking is offered at the parking garages. Also noticed that Assembly Row is located near the "T" and that the Orange line stops near. Very convenient! Nice place to visit and enjoy some time.

Jacqueline S.

Yelp
So, I heard about this place from a co-worker and was rather impressed. The Black Friday sales have started and the tax free on clothing and shoes really appealed to me. I got a great start on my Christmas shopping. The amount of stores and restaurants add to the vibe of this area. The stores and surrounding areas were clean and organized. Going back, today!!

Yelp
This place has truly everything. On street parking, though watch out for the meter police. Parking garages with decent rates for parking. Loads of fun shops and great restaurants. From ramen to steak to ice cream. They have it all. Also a very lovely hotel that I have stayed at with excellent service and decent food. During the summer this place is jumping with sports and outside dining. Oh and the Orange Line is right there. How much easier could it be.

Yelp
WARNING Beggars and thieves. Last night I went to Amelia's. A beggar asked my friend and I for food (the food here isn't cheap). I said we had no cash and he dared ask us if we had another way to pay while we ate. Horribly uncomfortable. Then at AMC theaters. A thief sat next to me and stole my bag! Of course management there won't care. Not even a simple sorry. Security and standards should be a priority!!! Stores are nice though.

Yelp
Service: SO much to do here. Some of my favorites include: - Trader Joe's for groceries (& the occasional free samples lol) - American Eagle/Aerie, TJ Maxx for window shopping - Brunch/Dinner: Some of my faves include Salt & Stone, Fuji @ Assembly, & Legal Sea Foods - Workout at FitRow! I've tried them all but my favorite would prob have to be Pure Barre :) Great selection of stores! You'll never get bored here regardless of who you come with. I've been here with my mom, friends, co-workers... the value you get coming here is definitely worth it!

Yelp
Terrific shopping and dining. Have been here a few times and it never disappoints. After a charity walk had a lovely time at Tony C's Sports Bar and Grill.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is an outlet with movies theaters , eatery, and stores. Nike, reebok, pumas , and etc. Park at the trader Joe's/Burlington parking lot coat factory for free parking. There's Lego store as well for kids.
google avatar

Chris M.

Yelp
Assembly Row has everything I am looking for: restaurants, parking, movie theater. It is one stop shopping. Everything is in a three or four block area. It also has neighboring businesses like grocery and a hardware store. There is a Lego store with the kewlest giraffe out in front. It looks like it was made from legos. I would recommend this area as it meets my shopping needs.
google avatar

Owen D.

Yelp
Love Assembly! So many great outlet stores and dining options! I'm there at least once a week to walk around!

Vincent V.

Yelp
Had an issue with confirmation email so I called the theater and David with guest services was really helpful, he printed the tickets and cleared up the issue. Had a great experience with the family here

Myrtho P.

Yelp
I just had a bad experience at the store Aeerie in Assembly Row manager (Alycia) The store advertised undies for 10/32. I get to register prices changed 5/20. Despite the signs still reads she refused to change it. By laws she should honored that not my issue she is not doing her job. I did not want to make a scene, I hope her superiors or someone above her reading this review. Please do the right thing!

Yelp
What a great and wonderful addition Assembly Row has given to this area. Wonderful shops Hotels and easy to Maneuver around.

Jon R.

Yelp
The automated parking garage equipment is terrible. The card readers don't work half the time and when you press the call button, it has been outsourced to India and takes them several minutes to even answer. They sure go to a lot of effort to make sure they get your 3 dollars.
google avatar

Yelp
Pleasant outdoor shopping here with a ton of parking decks, some street parking and lots of great space for walking. Assembly also has great access via MBTA with a station on the Orange Line. Restaurants from low to high end, ice cream, a beer garden, movie theater and plenty of retail. A few apartments and condos here too. I had an enjoyable evening here exploring shopping, getting a beer, some dinner and then picking up a Mike's canoli to eat later.

Yelp
I think this is the best plaza/central area with things to do near downtown Boston. Highly recommend this as a hangout place for those in the Boston areas.

Yelp
A MUST DO! 4 & 1/3 STARS! Assembly Row is an outdoor Mall located just outside of Boston in Somerville MA. This is an all in one EASY BREEZY & CONVENIENT PLACE TO SHOP & YOU CAN SAVE SOME CASH HERE TOO! IT'S A ONE STOP SHOPPING & ENTERTAINMENT COMPLEX! It has lots of stores with a wide variety of products to choose from including numerous outlet stores & they have Free Parking in the Garage & Outdoors as well near The Trader Joe's area. If you have lots of different kinds of shopping to do from Drug Store, Clothes, Grocery Shopping, going to the Gym, Movies & Dining etc you can get it all done here in 1 place. One of the best parts of shopping here is you don't have to drive from store to store, mall to mall & strip mall to strip mall to get everything you need done for the week. INSIDE TIP #1 Be Sure to Pick Up their Coupon Book to Save some Additional Money in many of their stores. See the website for Details! INSIDE TIP #2 Be Sure to Check Out the Giant 20 Foot Tall Lego Giraffe named Gio. He stands outside The Legoland Discovery Center. You can visit him for FREE! Gio the giraffe was named after a 6-year-old child Giovanni Maggiore, who was a Medford (the next town over) boy who died after battling congenital heart problems. Assembly Row has several Factory Outlets Here including Nike, Columbia, Clark's, Polo, Sak's Fifth Avenue called Off 5th, J Crew, Kay Jewelry & many others too. Check the website for a complete list. You Can Really Save Some Cash! Another Great Reason to come here is Mike's Pastry. There are Huge Lines on Hanover Street in the North End Boston's Little Italy to get your Italian pastries including their World Famous Cannolis & you've got to pay for Parking too. Yes The North End is the Original & does have more atmosphere. But Here the wait is much quicker & you can eat on the premises. They have tables & chairs or you can get it to go & whip in & out of here in no time flat. It is a smaller shop with not as many selections as the original North End Boston location. The upside is they make their most popular items in Boston here including their Famous Cannolis. IT'S QUICK & SO DARN CONVENIENT! The Train station also stops right here too. They have several Coffee Shops here including Starbucks. Earls & Ruth Chris Steak House are some of the most popular places to eat but there's many to choose from; there's about 25 or so. They have eateries in all price ranges from Low End to High End. There's an AMC Movie Theater, Legoland, Lucky Strike Bowling Alley, Muse Paint Bar, a Beer Garden, Trader Joe's, Addidas, Ann Taylor, Brooks Brothers, Bed & Bath, Burlington, Christmas Tree Shop, Staples, TJ Max, a Samsonite Luggage, JP Licks Ice Cream Shop, XFinity. CVS. & an Exercise Studio, & many other stores. This outdoor mall is also a great space for walking & getting in a little Exercise. The Covid Pandemic has forced restaurants to get really creative. It is too cold to eat outside in the winter but not if you have an Outdoor Igloo Dome Shaped Hut that protects you from the elements. These structures look really nice light up at night & now you can eat Outdoors in the Cold Weather. Also they have some pretty cool window display during The Holiday Christmas Season & the streets are all lit up & decorated as well. There's also a Home Depot right close by, a gym, & various other stores that are all nearby too. They always seem to be adding things here all the time. Have Some Fun & Save Some Time & Money Shopping @ Assembly Row! It used to be, you had to have Mega Bucks & be really Rich to have the Good Life, not anymore. The Game has changed. You've been Upgraded. Now You Can Live Like a King on a Limited Budget!

Yelp
This is a totally revamped area. Restaurants, stores, theater, an awesome development. The parking is a little tight but there is a garage.
google avatar

Love J.

Yelp
nice theater, good area. the seats are comfy but don't recline. free parking for 3 hours in the garages too
google avatar

Karine D.

Yelp
I bought this shoes in the Black Friday I used a few times for gym and now looks very bad, bad quality and bad lasting, has only 2 months that I bought it and I wanna my money back to buy a Nike that lasts longer than 2 months
google avatar

Yelp
What an excellent Development Area of shops and restaurants and even the view of the new Encore casino. I really think that this area is used wisely and looks very very elegant especially next to the Mystic Yacht Club. nice place to have a walk or jog around the Mystic River I think this is a really nice addition in the area.

Sylvia M.

Yelp
Love the lay out of this mall. Visited several of the shops and my favorite coffee shop, Nero.

Anthony G.

Yelp
Jamie the bartender is amazing from the drinks, food and the ice cream it was all great
google avatar

Sara C.

Yelp
This is a cute village type of outlet mall with a decent selection of stores. They have the standard Anne Taylor, Loft, and Banana Republic outlets, as well as a bunch of shoes stores like Adidas, Reebok. They also have a JP Licks ice cream shop, a Lego store, and an AMC movie theater that has some great lounge type seating. There's a parking garage (I believe 3-4 hours is $1) and meter parking out on the street as well. There are also a few restaurants here too, like Fuji, the Smoke Shop, Southern Kin, and some pizza places to name a few. All in all, there's enough here to keep you busy for at least a whole day.
google avatar

Rebekah K.

Yelp
I planned a 20 person event at The Row Hotel in Assembly Way. Abigail L., with events, was very professional throughout and treated the planning of my small event with the same care as larger events they hold. I believe I saw her go the extra mile and the facilities are both breathtaking and trendy. Given all of this and it being close to the T, other fine dining and just a 1-2 blocks from free parking, I will definitely return here for future events! - Rebekah K.

Paige M.

Yelp
Raneen was sweet, attentive, and provided great recommendations! Highly recommend for Sunday lunch with your girlfriends
google avatar

Michelle T.

Yelp
this outlet mall doesn't have a ton of stores or options but it has a Lego land discovery center and you must check out the purple mattress store

Yelp
Yelp has told me Assembly Row has moved, so I've simply copied my review from the old address to the new, as I wrote the original 1 day ago. I am seriously considering taking solicitations for methods of torture for whoever designed the road/sidewalk system here. For me, the overall experience is much less than the sum of the parts. I am sure that when I spend more time here to do a significant amount of shopping, I'm going to give high marks to a lot of the stores here. But even now, on a day that is going to be nowhere near as busy as, for example, holiday shopping season, it was already a nuisance for pedestrians vs. drivers. Thankfully, pedestrians win, but the ensuing vehicle chaos and traffic back-ups are going to frustrate those people who choose to navigate through instead of park in the lots. On the plus side, I do like the store layout, which reminds me of the outlets in Merrimack. I think the "graffiti wall directories" are cool. I do look forward to shopping here. And for you Yelpers, you can get one of the coupon books with a Yelp check-in.
google avatar

Derek J.

Yelp
Amazing how quickly things can go to shit when subjected to the public. That said, can grab a 24 ounce for 9.97 and take it in the theatre so that's a win and parking for hours still free and plenty do shopping around. This was one of the first luxury Theatre's with reclining seats etc but it has taken its toll pretty quick being as popular as it is. AMC will never be as good as showcase but it's not terrible by any means. Enjoy
google avatar

Mark B.

Yelp
Great outlets for Adidas and Nike. Parking is ok, not great. Movie theater and Lego Land.. decent restaurants.
google avatar

Whitney S.

Yelp
Assembly Row was an awesome addition to Somerville! You can live there and not ever need to leave...literally. Parking is super easy....there's street parking as well as garages. Plenty of restaurants, varying in styles, and retail stores to meet any need. Tip...get a slice of pizza at Ernesto's...UNREAL!
google avatar

Tracy B.

Yelp
3 Stars because it isnt complete yet... Once all the stores are in & Ive been more Ill def update my review... As of now there is EVERY shoe store there could be... Every Sneaker store is there... Free Parking... Movies are great from what I hear, the BF & my son go weekly... Legoland is insane & plan to be an all day event from what I hear... I just wish there were more Clothing Options for us Big Women! Or kids Clothing stores... and maybe a Coach outlet would have been great, who knows maybe there will be surprises to come!
google avatar

Alexandra M.

Yelp
Great shopping area, can't wait for the T to open it's stop nearby--should be soon! Lots of expensive shops, right across from KMart...
google avatar

Nikki H.

Yelp
This used to be a fun place to go, but after today's experience I'll go elsewhere to see a movie/shop. The parking situation is BAD. Used to be a pain, but manageable to weave in... now with the pay gates it's intolerable for pedestrians AND drivers. (Picture a line of cars around the block constantly) It's in serious need of traffic lights or there will be accidents for sure if not already during the holiday season. Pedestrians also keep streaming through the crosswalk and don't let drivers go. (another reason for signals) Taking my business elsewhere.
google avatar

Nandanie S.

Yelp
I can't say that I've ever had a bad experience here! With the abundance of shops, entertainment and restaurants, you really can't go wrong. The new T station for Assembly opened, and Assembly Row is super accessible now. I've used it once or twice and it's convenient. When friends and I decide to do something, we think of Assembly Row first because there's so much to consider. Parking is free too, and that's a huge HUGE plus. Come here for a date night, shopping or just to get a meal! :)
google avatar

Deborah D.

Yelp
I love this place you can find anything and the restaurants are great. There is a playground and a sprinkler. Ice cream place, Legoland... Also great place for family with kids.
google avatar

Leonardo S.

Yelp
This is the best recreation area that has been created around here for n years.! Shopping, eating, movies, hangout spots. Somerville just brought much more happiness to our lives.
google avatar

Denise S.

Yelp
Enjoy visiting, shopping, and eating at Assembly Row! Such a neat place! Check out the bookstore "All She Wrote." Great reads by women authors and selections for the LGBTQ community, both young and old. The owner, Christine, is great with recommendations!
google avatar

Mick T.

Yelp
It's a breath of fresh air in a city that is truly in need of it. Just think back 10/11 years the only thing here was good times This of this place is a oasis and its pack with fun for everyone. Small boutique stores for shopping Toy store for kids A move theater My favorite store Brook Brothers Bars Parking is a hit or miss. Restaurant
google avatar

Damien S.

Yelp
From what this area was to what it is today is nothing short of a complete transformation. Gone is the Good Times, a decrepit cinema and ghost lots, yielding to a complete retail/dining/residential/corporate office space destination. You'll probably fall in to one of two camps regarding the generality of these outdoor malls: the "it has no soul" party, or the "it's a Stepford megaplex" party. Spoiler alert - you're both right. I'll take a new fresh collection of Banana Republics, La Creusets and Outbacks if it also means free parking, walkable marina parks, live entertainment and a vibrant buzz (not too mention a healthy placement of indos like Slumbrew's American Fresh beer garden, Southern Kin, and the cocktail gloriousness that is River Bar). Do yourself a favor and keep your vehicles along the perimeter - pedestrian foot traffic is rush hour bad - unless you're heading to the absolutely free parking garage attached to AMC and Legoland. The metered spots are for suckers, and as the sucker quotient is high, they're usually full. Then take an afternoon and meander - it's a meandering mecca.
google avatar

Wayne M.

Yelp
Can we just ALL get together and give this place a round of applause ??? This newest hot spot in somerville is stuffed with factory outlets , eateries, a state of the art movie theater , FREE PARKING ( last time i checked) and some of the coolest places to get your drink on and people watch on the planet!! Even as I write these words, this location continues to evolve with hotels and residences under construction all conveniently located near the brand new orange line stop aptly named: ASSEMBLY Only thing missing here in my opinion is a tricked out nightclub ( and the way things are springing up over there, it's only a matter of time before we see that too ) So if your in boston to visit or you live here and looking for something to do, swing on by ASSEMBLY ROW and see what I'm talking about!
google avatar

Sarah J.

Yelp
WTF with the new parking situation!! It took 20 mins to get from the Puma Store into the Parking garage because of those new greedy a** credit card machines. Not like Assembly doesn't get enough money from us already. My recommendation...stay away or get a Lyft.
google avatar

Ran D.

Yelp
It used to be the place to go hang out, but paying for parking is now ridiculous. I get that under 3 hours is free, but sometimes movies or shopping may take longer.
google avatar

Jeff S.

Yelp
Parkingparking is a nightmare. Weekends are disgusting. While the city built this beautiful place, they did not think about parking. Save yourself the energy and take the T.
google avatar

Kelly L.

Yelp
They have a good amount of shopping stores and a lot of cute cafes but I think they should have more restaurants. I love a shopping center that has good foods and great variety of shopping stores. This place has a little of everything which is great but I feel like they should open more mainstream stores like h and m or forever 21. They opened up a lot of new stores which is great to keep it new and updated. Parking is fairly easy for me I never find it a major problem.
google avatar

Sharon V.

Yelp
This place needs more parking. My friend circled this place a few times. We ended up parking about a mile away. Great outdoor shopping and dining options though.
google avatar

Kayla C.

Yelp
Love Assembly Row!! I go here all the time with my boyfriend and friends. There's plenty of restaraunts and shopping. Also the movie theater here is the best. Some of the stores are outlets, so you can get some good deals. Other are regular retailers. The parking garages are even nice and tell you how many spots are open on each floor. They are constantly adding new places as well.
google avatar

Dana S.

Yelp
Like some of the places here. The parking in a garage, it's kind of a downer, and the fact that it's one big maze doesn't help. You can't really see the street signs when you're trying to locate a place. They should have the four directions all of the place to know where buildings and restaurants and stores are
