Well, I have no compliant about the quality of the food sold here, I have eaten multiple times. Today I stepped into the restaurant at 2:05pm BST and saw the chicken tray was empty, so checked with the person at the counter and he said chicken and salad is still available(well the manager should be knowing who was working at the counter on 4th Sept at 2pm). I ordered a small portion of chicken and salad £10.5. Guy served salad in front of me and took the bowl to the kitchen/store room (i believe)and served the chicken(which i believe was left out) and packed it. He didn't weigh the chicken which they usually do and it was a bit away from me but I was clearly able to see what he was doing. Guys if you know it's done and closed please inform the customer rather serving what is left out and less in quantity for what we pay for. Extremely poor service.

Good food, nice staff. What can you really say? It’s very similar to the other venues. They have good food but the price has gone up similar to everything else so it’s a lot more pricey to get the standard rice box with chicken. Sandwiches here are a good option or something to get every now and again.

There is fierce competition for lunch food in the City amongst the thousands of hungry workers. Food is generally expensive in the area with portion sizes at a premium. Not here. The portion sizes for your food is great with all of your macros being attained. Use the home made green sauce with your chicken - highly recommended. The chicken is also halal here.

Such good value for lunch in the city - huge portion and you can get all of your macros in! Must get the green sauce with the famous chicken and rice combo. The queue is long though, try to get there at midday or the queue gets longer than butchers.

Assenheims 56!! As I work in Bank, I have this quite regularly for lunch. Chicken, rice and salad with the green sauce is absolutely fantastic. I don’t know what they put in the green sauce but WOW! Great place for your lunch if you work around Bank/Moorgate area. Reasonably cheap and a good size portion. I have one most weeks and they never fail. Highly recommend and they have discounts on Tuesdays (20% off if you order on Just Eat).

The food is really good like the other Assenheims, it has a nice are to seat and enjoy the food, but I would prefer to have it outside somewhere else, so I don't have to hear the mouthful manager. He is always shouting and swearing to his work colleagues. He forgets that there is people i that understands Spanish, like what happened to me with my colleagues This guy is very inappropriate and lacks of respect and teamwork.

Great portion and the chicken is cooked nicely. Would love the option to get more variety rather than just two choices but still it’s a good option. Try to come before 12 or it’ll get too busy.

Chicken was really good. Vegetable selection consisted of a tub full of sliced carrots hiding an occasional courgette slice, so some more variety in the vege would be an improvement. I had the takeout chicken box, with vege and rice, and it was extremely tasty so I'd go here again. The photo may not look so appetising, but the flavours were great, with both the hot sauce and some of their mild green sauce alongside. Queue was out the door at lunchtime. The regular sized portion was generous.
