Assiette au boeuf

Quick service, good food and anywhere that serves unlimited fries has to be recommended! Irish coffee a welcome finish to an excellent meal (see the photo to see what I mean!)... And came back in November 2022 and just as good. Cannot fault the service or the quality the food which, considering this is a chain, is exceptional. Worth a visit!

Brilliant food, portion size, & service for the price!!

Wonderfully helpful staff. Helped us get a table when they were really busy. Took a while to bring take our orders and bring the first course, but perked up after that. Really Great steak and the signature sauce is very good!

It's all about the beef. There are other options but your best choice is the house special with the sauce Paradis. Go for "medium". The wife had well done and my medium was much more tender and juicy. Endless fries. Not expensive by French standards. Located on the corner of the Grand Place, the prettiest parking lot you'll visit.

Beef is really good, but service not so perfect

Delicious Beouf Paradis, cooked to perfection with their own amazing sauce. Whole family enjoyed the meal and service excellent too. Only passing through on our way from Dordogne back to the UK but we did the same last year and I suspect Arras will now be a regular stop on this trip, just so we can go back to Assiette au Beouf! Update November 2024: Now a regular stop at least twice a year. Never disappointed, tonight seemed more delicious than ever 😍

This was our firat time visiting France and we decided to eat at this restaurant due to the many great reviews. Everything was fine until the waitress came to take our order. The blond young woman working at around 21.15 on wednesday, August 30th, was clearly against tourists. After appoligizing for not knowing french, the whole interaction was about 10 seconds of the waitress waving her hands around, rolling her eyes and shouting at us in french before sighing loudly and storming off. I have actually never felt less welcome at an establishment and having worked with service half my life I never thought someone working in service could be so incredibly rude and hostile. I do not recommend this place if you don't speak french.

Amazing...we had a lovely meal, we had their special steak meal. We had the smoked salmon and the fois grais with our salad which was lovely. The steak was medium rare and just so tender and tasty with crispy french fries and the amazing sauce. We were drinking a bottle of cote de Rhone which was very smooth. We had deserts of Rum Baba and Raspberry and white chocolate ice cream desert both of which were delicious. The service was good, the waiter was attentive, with a great personality. We would definitely recommend and definitely come back to if ever in Arras again.
