Tasty New Zealand Sav blanc combined with a delicious cheese plate from the cheese shop made for a pleasant Sat night pre-game! Awesome service and relaxed environment. Will definitely do this again.

First, Josh is Awesome! He was very patient and knowledgeable as we browsed all of the cool, retro toys and collectibles on display; he also helped us purchase a neat G1 Metroplex for our son and gave us a more than fair price. We will definitely visit when we next come to Charlotte (and likely purchase a bottle or two of wine)!

Every other time this would be a 5 but not today. I asked for sparkling or champagne - no price point, I was open to suggestions. Instead of asking me for a flavor profile or style (brut, cava, etc), she doubled down on the price point and got extremely rude, saying, “I have to know a price point in order to help you”. No. You need to know that I’m open to suggestions and my likes/dislikes in order to help me. So, with that, we walked away. (Not gonna lie - felt like a “Pretty Woman” moment ;))

Simply amazing selection and the staff is excellent. I cannot recommend this place enough.

I love coming to this place. The team always have great wine suggestions and they are kinda I've never heard of. They have all kinds of wine from Italy and France. It's in the middle of 7th Street Market so you can get a glass with your food from other vendors. Very casual but wonderful!

A very friendly gentleman poured me a glass of Pinot with a smile, "accidentally" fling my glass as the bottle emptied. He also reminded me that they're back to being open seven days a week. The wine was excellent and went well with my Geno D's pizza! Assorted Table Wine & Shop is in the Market at 7th Street. Vendors in the market will validate parking that's good for the first 90 minutes.

I love grabbing a glass/bottle of wine here when I get a chance . We were enjoying some Geno D's pizza and I love a red Montepulciano wine with pizza. They did not have it by the glass but they had a very reasonably priced 1/2 bottle of it . It was delicious. Smooth and went great with the pizza and garlic knots! If you like Pinot noir, give this a try. There were 2 people working that night and both were glad to help with beer or wine recommendations.

Very nice spot with various bottle of wine. It's located within the uptown market place. The gentleman whom I assume is the owner is very knowledgeable, witty and hilarious. It was a simple encounter but an amazing one which to me is what truly counts.

This place is such a GEM! You can grab a bottle to take home or grab a split and have it there. The staff are always so helpful and knowledgeable. It freaky is a neighborhood jewel. It's not a huge shop but i much prefer to get wine there vs a supermarket.

Grabbed a glass of wine prior to a show at Blumenthal. We also used 7th street deck to park and start our evening. The staff here at Assorted Table Wine & Shop were super nice and ready to make recommendations. Maybe it was a Friday evening, so everyone was in a good mood, folks in the market were having dinner and being merry. I, myself had not been to the market in a LONG LONG time. Good to see that the ATW&S is still here (and thriving). I know the staples that I usually expected to see at the market have since moved on, but new vendors have taken their place. Ended up splitting a half bottle and it was the perfect "pre-game" before our show. I do need to check out the events that ATW&S co-sponsors and throws with the market. Just overall a great place to shop for wine and or have a drink. There's a lot of cool collectable items (prominently displayed in their logo redesign as well as the display cases). Makes for a cool and eclectic experience shopping here.

We frequent Assorted Table almost weekly. Even though I no longer drink alcohol, Antonio always helps my husband pick a new wine to try! Love the quirkiness and proximity to cheese at the stall next door!

The friendliest and most helpful man asked what we were interested in and made a great recommendation for our group. We had the "Send Nudes" after we advised him we were looking for a dry wine. This was a great dry rose, and they had a huge selection of others! Staff was so sweet. This is such a fun spot to grab some wine to eat with snacks or desserts from the other vendors in 7th st market.

One of my favorite places for wine. Just steps from the light rail at the 7th street location. Purchased a full bottle Of wine to split with a friend for just $22 dollars, already chilled & glasses provided. Unfinished bottles are corked for you to take home - which is a perk as well! Definitely visit if you are in the area

I love this spot! I discovered this place while at a Yelp Elite event at Geno D's Pizza some months ago and I came back again a few weeks ago. Cool shop with tons of wine options, the gentleman that works there is super nice and helps making the best recommendations based off what you like. I prefer red, smokey, dry type wines so he sold me a bottle of something and I just sat there and enjoyed the glasses. This was on a Sunday too and I think they closed at 5pm and I got there like 4:30 but I wasn't kicked out for being there after 5 so that was great. I want some more wine now that I'm talking about it

What a delightful time we had shopping and sampling both wine from Assorted Table as well as food from some of the vendors inside the 7th Street Market. Josh and Katherine walked us through some wonderful California wines. Josh then put together some offerings from a few food vendors and nothing disappointed. We sampled a white and a few red wines along with homemade pasta, sardines packed in lobster oil and a wonderful charcuterie board of meats and cheeses. What a time. The wine offerings plus sheer knowledge of he and his team are impressive yet there isn't one drop of pretentiousness in any of it which makes for a great experience. Go now and go often.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary last weekend and I had my new favorite wine while we were at the restaurant. I searched for it locally and could not find it. Total Wine had it in another state, but they would not ship it after I contacted them. I then contacted 3 more places. Assorted Table was the first to respond, confirmed they did not have it but could order it! I requested to order 3 bottles. Another store responded a day later, also could get it, but at a cheaper price. The third, never responded. While I Assorted was slightly more expensive, they responded the quickest, was able to get me 3 bottles in 2 days, and they are a convenience to my work in that I can walk during my lunch break to them. They are inside the 7th Street Market. Yelp labels this as a wine store, so that's what I was expecting, but they are a nice stand with lots of choices within this little market. A nice spot to check out, have a glass of wine and from the looks of it, great food choices. So very excited that I was able to already enjoy my new favorite wine this weekend! I will be ordering more soon! Thank you for the great service! This is how a business should be.

I've been coming here for a while and it is always a great experience. The gentlemen that works here is so pleasant and knowledgeable about all things wine. You can enjoy a nice bottle, or glass, along with good conversation if you'd like!

Have gotten a bottle of wine from here each time I've had dinner at Orrman's or Geno D's. Staff are always very helpful in suggesting pairings with either the cheese from Orrman's or pizza. They have a fantastic selection and I've really loved the reds that were suggested to us. Best wine shop in Charlotte!

While in Charlotte for a business trip I decided to take an afternoon off and walk around to see what the city has to offer. I came across this really cute market which lead me to Assorted Table Wine Shoppe. Since I had an hour to kill before my Comedy Bus Tour (I reviewed that as well) I decided let me enjoy a glass of wine while waiting. ATWS has plenty of wines to sip on at the bar and a larger option on bottles to purchase. I was going back and forth between which wine to choose and with some help from the lovely bartender I went with a Rosé. While I sat there her and I chatted about how much the neighborhood has changed and get conversation about how every town is really changing. They do offer an evening event where they do wine pairing and you much purchase tickets in advance. It seems really fun and which they had one while I was there. Really enjoyed their wine and experience. I highly suggest checking them out.

I've been to the 7th Street Public Market a couple of times and I've always noticed this place, but never stopped by until a couple of days ago. I got off of work early and decided to get some pasta from Zia Imports and I needed a drink to pair it with. I forget her name, but one of the employees was extremely helpful. Assorted Table Wine has A LOT of wine, and the woman who helped me find a red wine that went great with my pasta. I'll definitely be coming back here soon.

I love this shop!! Located in the 7th Street market, this place offers a pretty amazing wine selection, FANTASTIC SERVICE, at reasonable prices!! I love coming to get some food at one of the great places, buy a couple glasses of half bottles and sit! If you're looking for great wines from around the world to consume or take home, the selection is deep and varied. Definitely recommend!!!!

Great selections in different size formats (purchased in the afternoon to take on the funny bus outside), then stopped by again later that same day and enjoyed the $5 tasting menu (Tuesday evenings). Reasonably priced options and a wide variety of wines and beers. Excellent staff - friendly and helpful.

After months of trying to track down a particular Austrian wine, I emailed the vintner asking where I could get the wine in Charlotte. He referred me to Assorted Wine. I emailed Brion and he special ordered the wine for me. It arrived within a few days. He delivered the wine to my car in the curbside pickup lane. It couldn't have been easier! Of course I can't wait to drink the wine !

The only place we come for wine! Josh and his staff are always available to help you with a perfect pairing. On Tuesdays they do $5 tastings and in turn you receive a $5 gift card towards a purchase (read:free wine). Their special events such as country specific pairings alongside Orrmans cheese shop (we just attended Portugal 2.0 after having such a great time at the first event), special dinner and music events etc really bring this place to life. 7th Street market is a special place, and Assorted Table Wine Shoppe leads the way. Shop local!!!

Conveniently located inside the 7th Street station, this quaint small establishment offers a wide variety of wines. The older gentleman that helped me was personable and friendly. We had a divine time there!

Let's talk about the many, many reasons why I love Assorted Table Wine Shoppe. 1.Any store that's retail pricing instead of four times restaurant mark up, makes me happy. 2. Community farm table, where you can socialize with Not Just Coffee patrons too! 3. Knowledgeable, unassuming staff, you can be a total novice or an oenophile and you feel welcomed. 4. Plenty of hidden gems, not just the everyday stuff. We tried a Prosecco or some sort of bubbles from Barcelona (I think) for $26. Delicious, obscure and affordable. #hellyeah 5. My favorite Vermouth, Dolin. 6. Location, 7th Street Market- great meeting place, where everyone can find something to drink/eat and be completely content. 7. Outdoor seating 8. Free parking for 90 minutes! 9. A large selection of Bitters! All this talk makes me want to go there now!!!!

Simply, my favorite wine shop in Charlotte, NC. I've had many a good bottle of wine, thanks to the great people at Assorted Table.

They took my order and delivered on the same day to a friend who lived 20 miles away! Great service, cool order form where you tell them what you like and they can curate for you, and really nice gift wrapping.

I love going to this shop. They will special order things I've found in restaurants that I like and even will make recommendations based on what I'm ordering. I've never had a bad recommendation from Josh or any of the staff. Also, the wine/cheese pairing classes they do in conjuncture with Orman's Cheese Shop are amazing! Definitely recommend people going.

We sat at Assorted Table's bar and had a nice glass of Prosecco and a delicious piece of chocolate truffle cake we purchased from Zia Pia Italian eatery. We chatted with the friendly owner of this charming little bar and spirit shop that's inside the 7th street Market. We stumbled upon the market while exploring Charlotte for the first time. We will be back!

Awesome wine selection and wonderful customer service. I stopped in with a friend and we enjoyed not only discussing different wine types but also some recommendations which were winners. We had a couple glasses of wine even decided to stay for lunch (ordered from Local Loaf ). I also learned that they have tastings on Tuesdays so I will be back!

Great assortment of beers and many wines to choose from. Excellent service and super sweet. They make you feel right at home.

We where here as part of the Foo De Tour and they were very nice Not a cheap pour and came around and gave us a second sip. They do wine tastings and seemed to have a nice selection of wine and beer. The wine they gave us to same was a very nice Rose

Taylor came to my office to do a wine tasting for staff appreciation week, and she did a fantastic job. Great assortment of wines for the tasting and she was super knowledgeable (if you haven't heard about orange and blue wines, ask her, she can tell you all about them). After this great experience, will definitely be checking out the wine shop!

I needed to send a nice bottle of wine to a client for my boss and this store went above and beyond for us! They were very responsive and worked with me through the entire process to ensure everything went as smoothly as possible. Customer service is by far the best and I'll definitely reach out to them again if I ever need to send something again in Charlotte.

Oh my gosh!! What a wonderful place to unwind after a long day! On Tuesdays, they have a $5 wine tasting, that provides you with a $5 gift certificate that you can use one bottles of wine, and even a glass if you do not want to commit to 750 ml. We loved it! Most glasses will cost less than $10. The bottles range from $8.99 to north of $85.00. There is something for every oenophile!

Nice selection of wines and great customer service! I needed a present for my dad's birthday and asked Josh for something similar to a family favorite. He found a quality wine that will be a great present. I liked the price range and the fact they have wine in a can! I will be back to try the Tuesday night wine flights.

Another great addition to the 7th Street Market. Not only is this spot a great resource for finding wines but they do a great wine tasting every Tuesday evening between 5-7pm I think. It's $5 and they credit you with a voucher worth $5 towards any bottle. Can't really beat that. As far as selection it is a vary wide selection. As the normal, pinot, zins, cabs, etc. but also some rarer grapes that you can't find just anywhere. During our visit we noticed that Pure Pizza was also giving out complimentary pizza during the wine tasting...that's a double score!

Compact wine store right inside the Seventh Street Station! Perfect place to stop prior to heading to a party. They have a good variety of wines and if you are not sure what you like go to their wine tasting on Tuesdays! The folks working here are very nice and knowledgeable - don't forget they will validate your parking!

Kuya Josh!!!! We love your store! Your wine finds are truly a diamond in the rough! I love the sweet Shine Dornfelder! We want to get some more! You have us hooked on Moscato! Now, sweet red Shine Dornfelder is soooo tasty! It's our new fav added to the list! Your variety of sake is pretty good. I love the variety and the wine tastings you have over at your place! Keep up the great work! Your place is a total find! Every sip of wine has been worth the travel! All the bottles you have to sell are amazingly worth the buy! Every bottle you have is a great deal! We can't wait to go back and visit! We wish you were closer to Richmond!

Josh at Assorted Table is the go-to for the perfect wine. He has extensive knowledge and refreshing takes on each of the wines he sells. Have a bottle of wine in the market while eating a pizza or come to the $5 wine flights on Tuesday nights. Do it now!

We love this place - great, knowledgeable owner and an incredible wine and saki selection. Nestled inside the 7th Street Public Market, this is a great spot to grab a bottle and stay to eat or grab six (or more) to take home for your collection. We enjoy telling Josh what we're making for dinner, what we'd like to spend on a bottle, and watching him quickly spring to action. His suggestions haven't disappointed us yet!

Staff and owner are always friendly! Selections of wines are always changing and there's an event almost everyday of the week to explore new wines all the time I love coming here and will continue to come here as long as I am in Charlotte

Very disappointed. After having ordered a bottle of wine I asked 2 empty glasses and he wanted to charge me 6 dollars each one because the dishwasher was broken. No reason to charge me as it is not my fault and he had 9 glasses available. Plastic cups were complimentary but with a bottle of Nebbiolo is a shame.

For me it has all the right ingredients of the perfect local wine store: Knowledgeable staff (especially the proprietor, Josh), expansive inventory with a wide selection of countries, grape varieties and price points to choose from. Despite the constant hustle and bustle of the 7th Street Market Place, Assorted Table Wine Shoppe maintains a quaint hospitable presence that is truly refreshing. This place is one of my favourite locations in Charlotte for several reasons. Great selection of wines from around the world and a team very experienced in wine and food pairings; pop in and discuss your recipe or dinner plans and let them help you find the perfect companion. The wine shop hosts wine tastings each Tuesday evening; for just $5 you can taste and learn about multiple wines and you get a $5 voucher towards your next purchase- which is often on the night if you have good company in the 7th street people's market! The store pairs up with other providers in the Market for creative and very reasonable foodie evenings- from the wine and cheese tastings with Orrman's on Wednesdays to the upcoming dessert tasting night with the bakery. You will get multiple lovely courses for as little as $25-35 and for the quality, it is surely of the best foodie bargains in Charlotte. Finally, if you have had a busy day, it's a great place to sit and have a glass of wine and wind down. Pair it with some food from another vendor in the market or have the first glass there and take the rest of he bottle home with you. Great selection and service; so much more than a wine store. Highly recommended!

Amazing place to shop for, and drink, great wine. The staff is quite knowledgable, the owner is present and involved, the wine is exceptional and reasonably priced. A bottle of wine from assorted table, paired with a couple cheese sandwiches from Orman's Cheese Shop, will rival most fine dining establishments.

A must do experience in Charlotte. Expert pairing of food and wine. Josh and the team here provide amazing wine and great customer service. We had a great office outing here. Highly recommended. You'll find wines you don't find at other retailers at great prices.

First time enjoying wine flight at the newly opened The Sorting Table. They are working on more group tastings and food pairings. I recommend them for your wine selection needs and they are in the 7th Street Market so you can get lots of local foods.
