We moved into the building in May and had to terminate our lease because it was so bad. As a Realtor, I can say that I would NEVER recommend this building to a client. The cabinetry is covered in some sort of vinyl and is bubbling off the cabinet doors. It took months to get ours replaced. The washer never worked properly and would only wash on hot and quick wash. The dryer was so loud, we had to leave the apartment to dry clothes. The coffee bar that they are so proud of was out of service for 3 of the 4 months we lived there. They give you internet but it doesn't work well. If you work from home, you should avoid this at all costs. The building has lots of dogs and the owners do not pick up after them, they urinate in the hall the elevators and these areas are not cleaned. The residents actually put up signs themselves to ask pet owners to pick up after them. The garage is so filled with dust that your car gets dirty when you park it there overnight. We have lived in many buildings and condos over the years and this one was a nightmare!

Use to be great when roll brothers owned it. Since gables took over it is horrible, they never take responsibility for anything. They are greedy and charge every fee possible. Had my one apartment when it was toll brothers got my security deposit back, got a bigger apartment there and gables took over and they didn’t give me my security deposit back plus charged more for my walls that arrived with patch marks and I had photos to prove it but they said that their claims were valid. Not to mention someone broke into someone’s apartment and was in the shower and they didn’t tell anyone in the building about it. They are sneaky and it takes forever to get anything fixed because there are only two maintenance guys. And they aren’t that friendly. The reason they have a 5 star rating is because of the old management which was great, Cody and his team was amazing. Ask anyone in the building that moved in with Cody and his team they were the best and everyone has moved out since Gables took over. Save your money and move to Knox or down the street. Not to mention they put a sticker on my drivers side window on my luxury car, I have had multiple car washes since then and yet has come out . Don’t move here believe me. Unfriendly people, except for the concierge, they are the best!

Started out good but then transfer of ownership to gables went downhill. The office leased out my unit based on an online application when I had already requested to stay an additional month at my former unit. I had to pay 2 different types of movers based on my belongings only to find out I had to move again given the NOISE, VIBRATIONS from LEVEL FOUR (4) WEIGHT ROOM specifically unit #401. There are loud noises ALL HOURS of the night and the office has mentioned they have tried to help but this hasn’t been solved. I even begged for hotel accommodations bc we can’t sleep here. There’s NO limit on “when” someone can use the gym and therefore my dog (panic attacks, throwing himself in the bathtub shaking from the noise) and I have been completely tortured during our time here. The former resident has also complained about this and nothing was done back then as well. This unit needs to be removed from anyone leasing it. I am unhappy with the way management has dealt with this issue as it has continued to arise with no solution. Not only that but they have told me they have gone to check and hear nothing out of the ordinary -completely gaslighting me. On a side note the “community functions are basically non existent.” Former ownership had amazing gatherings and wine on tap was always working properly. The machines are always messed up and the wine taste like OLD BEER bc of the constant fizz. The last community event I went to was supposed to be “gourmet bites” & they had TRADER JOES appetizers (previously frozen). Just tell the people the truth on the flyers. With how much everyone is paying in rent the events need to be BETTER QUALITY. And of the wine on tap sucks as it does then provide the people with BETTER WINE BOTTLES. Poor use of client funds.

This is the worst experience in an apartment. My ac went out 6 times during the summer. I have had ongoing issues with my upstairs neighbor making noise and they always say that they do not hear anything. Tonight I had someone bang on my door like the police at 11:00pm and went to ask for help from the racist “courtesy officer”. He did not want to do anything and then asked what I wanted him to do. When I asked if I should call the police he said they were not going to do anything. Then gaslighted me saying that I was making up the noise from my upstairs neighbor…but he has never been in my apartment to hear it. He then said there were several reports about me and I asked about what and he refused to answer. This is the person who is supposed to help residents?

OK, where do I start?!? If you want a brand new build with amazing amenities And a staff that actually cares, Aster turtle creek is the place move! Yes it can be pricey, but it’s definitely worth it!!! First off all the leasing agents are amazing and will help you anyway that they can. My leasing agent was Bear and I can’t even say enough great things about her! I was in a situation where I had to move within a couple days. Bear was able to start the process immediately and get me approved for my apartment within two days! She was easy to contact and responded to all my needs as soon as she could! Not only the leasing agents, but there is also a concierge 24 hours seven days a week. They will help you out anyway that they can and will do it with a smile on their face!!! Now the views, let’s talk about the 17th floor Skyview!!! This is open 24 seven along with all the other amenities including the sky lounge, the dog spa, the game room, and a couple other areas. The only thing that closes is the pool at 10 PM which is understandable since some apartment space the pool. They have fun resident events including a happy hour with wine and beer. They actually have a lawn movie night coming out which should be amazing AND They provide you a blanket and snacks for it!!! Access into the building and into your apartment it’s all done through an app on your phone, so you have no worries about losing your apartment key! The concierge will not let anyone at the elevator without your approval so it is very safe and you will not get unwanted visitors! On a clear night you can see downtown beautifully and even on our snowy nights it still looks pretty. You will not be disappointed if you move into this awesome apartment complex!!! It is still walking distance to the bars and definitely walking distance to the liquor store lol If I had to be nitpicky and figure out one con about living here, I guess it would be that there is only one dog waste garbage on the opposite side of the apartment complex, but that’s really the only downfall and that should not turn anyone away. Trust me you will not be disappointed to say that you live at Aster Turtle Creek!
