The food surprised me in the best way. A mix of Latin American and Mediterranean influences, but not in a forced or trendy way. It just worked. Every dish we had was packed with flavour, well balanced, and genuinely satisfying. The portions were small, and the prices felt fair.
The only thing I wasn’t sure about was the wine list. It’s huge, almost too much. I’ve always preferred it when a place keeps it tight and focused, like their menu. Still, the selection will probably please wine lovers who enjoy having options, and the staff were helpful with recommendations.
All in all, Aster is a place I’d happily come back to. It doesn’t shout for attention from the outside, but inside it’s full of soul and substance.
