Astor Club

Had a great time at the new Private Members Club- The Astor Club which is remodeled to resemble the old 1960's Chicago's Maxim de Paris restaurant and Club. It's a private supper club with multiple live entertainment dates & events. Historically, the condo building Astor Tower used to be a hotel where the Beatles stayed and John Lennon made the comment that the Beatles were more popular than Jesus. The service here is fantastic and the drinks and bar & decor is very unique, like stepping back in time to a secret underground speakeasy.

This is one of the coolest places to dine in Chicago. It is so elegantly decorated and has a cool feeling being underground. It feels like you are transported to the 1960’s (in a good way) which makes for an ambiance second to none. It’s tough to get in, but well worth the experience. Prices are actually pretty reasonable given how high profile and exclusive it is.

What a night! Dan Ponce lit up the stage at Astor Club with his smooth vocals and magnetic charm—yes, the same Dan from Straight No Chaser and WGN! It was an unforgettable, one-night-only performance, perfectly paired with Stephen Schuch on piano. Between the nostalgic tunes and cozy Gold Coast vibes, the evening was pure magic.
