Absolutely phenomenal experience! Colleen and the ASW Distillery team went above and beyond to make our ATD Greater Atlanta event seamless, welcoming, and truly special. From the moment we started planning, Colleen was incredibly accommodating—working with us on every detail, making thoughtful recommendations, and ensuring we had everything we needed to create a memorable evening. The hospitality was unmatched! The team anticipated our needs before we even voiced them, ensuring smooth logistics, a perfect atmosphere, and an effortless experience for our guests. Not to mention, the private tours were extremely engaging. The venue itself was stunning, and the personalized touch Colleen added made all the difference. What to do on a Monday afternoon when the traffic and crowds are low, head to the battery, and visit ASW Distillery. This is a wonderful place to explore your pallet with different whiskeys, bourbons, vodkas, and gins. From flights of delights to test what you may like over another, to handmade cocktails and more. If you get a little hungry, they have a variety of meats and cheeses, olives, and crackers. The atmosphere is open and airy with light colored decor. The staff is very friendly. If you go on a game day, you might miss out on conversations because they will be busting hump to get you your drinks. To which I add, tip them well, they work hard. I had a lovely Pinapple Express and a frozen bourbon and coke. I tried the Bohemian Raspberry as well as their Tropic Thunder. All their spirits are delicious and high quality. Come out to the Battery to enjoy a great experience. Oh, before I forget, you can order food from other places to be delivered there if you want.

Stopped by on Saturday after some skeet shooting. Jack and Maggie were so much fun. Jack knows his products inside and out. Great location, great products, and great staff. Colleen also advised us of some great events that I plan on exploring. ASW should let the staff have at least 3 drinks. Minimum!

We hosted a corporate event in their private bar room, and I could not have asked for a better experience! The employees were not only very communicative leading up to the event, but also provided exceptional service during it, truly going above and beyond. I would absolutely use this venue again in the future.

We are from Akron, Ohio and had an absolutely amazing time today! We had flights and fell in love so much with the products we left with several bottles. Thank you again for a great experience!

Really cool space inside! Patio area fun, spaced out. Strawberry dacquiri was small and not inexpensive, but totally worth it. (Strong!) Bartenders and staff nice.

Been to the battery location twice now, and amazing bourbon from an excellent staff. Brought a few bottles home with me and absolutely amazing bourbon. Not only great with cola, but recently was home sick with a sore throat and cough and the bourbon did more for me than any cough medicine! Highly recommend the location and products as both were phenomenal!

Loved my experience at ASW Battery. I went to buy a bottle and stayed for a cocktails and great conversation. A friend let me sample their ASW Fiddle Encore Maple. It was delicious. I had to have my own bottle. I called and had a bottle placed on hold since only 7 left. My bag was waiting with my name on it. We went to the bar and tried some cocktails. The Old Fashioned was pretty good. The employees were very friendly and most importantly knowledgeable. We had a great conversation about ASW and the different offerings. Check out ASW! They have some great Bourbon options for different palettes.

So this is a really nice spot that seems like it's a little bit out of place but it fits very well with the battery area. The battery itself is a bunch of different shops and bars and restaurants that are circling around the ball stadium. This one is in a strip mall area like everything else, and it has a good look on the outside. There's places for you to sit outside but that's probably because they have so much traffic because of the battery area in general and because of the braves. The inside is heavily wooded and a little bit rustic but it looks good. It reminds you of barrels which is very befitting because it's a distillery. You'll be greeted very nicely, or at least I was. You can look around and see the bar area and some other places where there are seats at, as well as the place where they do the distilling. The menu is not super vast but it's what you would expect from a distillery considering the things that they distill on site. I stuck with a dark-skinned liquor, but they have some light skin liquor options as well. I got an old fashioned, I feel like that's just a pivotal drink when it comes to whiskey and bourbon so if you get that wrong that I don't trust anything else. But it was actually a pretty good drink. I would go back, It was a pretty decent spot. If you want a fully expansive menu, this may not be for you. But if you want to focus on something specific and homegrown, this might be a place to try.

Just up the way from Truist Park, home of the Braves. It's my first exposure to ASW, my tipsy cousin, Billy, is like family here. It was our mission to meet Maggie, the barkeep. It turns out that Jack was the most interesting part of our visit. This guy knows everything! Best to order a flight, unless of course you're seasoned and already have your go to. I don't have the discerning palate to differentiate between liquors, but the taste testing was a hellofalotta fun. I picked a winner and ordered up a bottle. Straight to the car, off to the game. Looking forward to something wonderful to have a snort before we turn in. 10/24

Stopped by this location and did a whiskey tasting. The young lady at the bar that assisted me was awesome. For the tasting you got to choose 4 whiskies from their menu. I went along with the recommendations of the bartender. I loved the set up. Each choice had a card with its name and description I really liked 2 out of the 4. You can purchase a bottle your favorite ones. They do not prepare food here but you can purchase packaged snacks to enjoy. They also do not accept cash for payment only for tips.

Cute little brewery at the battery near the Braves stadium. I've always passed the place but never stopped by before until this visit. My boyfriend wanted some coffee that was unique and we saw on their outside menu that they had some options of interest. I thought the place only served beer but to my surprise they had quite a selection. I ordered a tea based cocktail which was made very well with fresh ingredients. My boyfriend ordered a coffee cocktail that he thought was okay. The cup started melting and we had to drink it fast to not spill it on ourselves or every where. We already walked away from the place and didn't want to go all the way back. He also said the flavor was a bit bitter as if the cocktail ingredients weren't mixed well together or not complimenting each other. That mixed with the cup melting brought this down a start but the service was great and there were other options that might have been better to choose from.

10/10 for having tampons and pads in the bathroom for women to use - such a thoughtful gesture Anyway, this place has a prime location in the battery & liquor to back that up. They're so good, you'll swing by total wine on the way home to pick up some extra bottles My husband is a huge whiskey drinker so he tried just about all of their offerings while we were here and he loved them all. Great variety, smooth flavors and a solid bourbon he said. The rye would be perfect for your Manhatten or old fashioned I tried their gin cocktail tropic thunder and it was dangerously delicious, sweet but not too sweet. They also offer popcorn for snacking and don't forget to drink some water Park in any of the decks in the battery and I think there's free parking on non game days Staff was knowledgeable and had plenty of suggestions for us. Open air with some fans and shade from the sun

Smaller than you expect. Pricey, but what you might expect for high end liquors. The gin is great with the florals infused. Good for pre-planned group events. Went for an alumni networking event. Btw they don't validate parking if any event is going at battery... Stadium or roxy theater ... Unless you buy a bottle if liquor. The gin was onl $ 10 when you deduct the $25 parking ineoukd have paid.

Cool little place in the battery. I ordered an old fashion that was tasty, however it was $15 after tip so you have been warned.

Great spot for some nice drinks. We came in a group of 4 and all got something different. They were all made so well. The espresso martini was definitely my favorite though!

First thing to know is that this (like many places surrounding it) is 100% tourist bait for Braves games. So don't expect some premier level of excellence. They have a selection of mixed drinks that the typical tourist is going to find desirable but honestly I thought were poorly mixed with too much sugar to let the alcohol shine through. Also, be warned that they do not accept money but rather they require credit cards in order to settle the bill [the bartender had the audacity to look at me like I was the moron for thinking they accepted money] So the mixed drinks and service are fairly subpar, even for the fairly low expectations I have for a tourist spot outside an MLB stadium. But how is the whiskey? I took home a bottle of Fiddler Cask Strength and it's actually a good high proof wheated bourbon, and I plan to find some more of their bottles to try. So don't let the tourist storefront put you off from the product.

Great little spirit bar. They make all their spirits. I went with a bourbon and whiskey flight. It was fun and good. Good spot in the battery. The servers were super helpful and professional.

A good atmosphere for baseball fans to go before and after a game. Service was excellent, and the staff was knowledgeable on all the distillery had to offer. We were there for the Dodger vs. Braves Baseball game, and there were high spirits from both fans hoping to see Othani (Dodger baseball player) hit his 50th homerun..

This is the third of three locations of ASW around Atlanta. They are arguably my favorite local bourbon in Atlanta (although there are some close contenders) I stopped in for a night cap cocktail with a buddy after dinner around the Battery. You can get flights of their spirits or have the "second best" old fashioned experience. I've never had a bad product from them. Their heartwood is especially good (though significantly more expensive) The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and I will keep coming back (and/or buying in-store) There is parking all around the Battery that is free for the first 3 hours.

ASW Distillery at the Battery is a welcome addition to all the family restaurants and massive bars that line the streets outside of the stadium. I am not knocking those places, but ASW provides a smaller, relaxing and slower paced spot to hang and enjoy a drink and your company. This tasting room and distillery is the third space for ASW who also have locations in the West End and Buckhead. The tasting room portion is dedicated to whiskey, while the distillery here is dedicated to their gin/vodka varieties. This ASW is located on a corner in the heart of the Battery and features a spacious tasting room outfitted with a communal table, bar seating, several two and four tops tables, a lounge area and a small patio with its own dedicated bar. It is small, yet spacious and perfectly laid out to allow the flow of folks in and out without disturbing the people hanging at the bar or tables. Décor wise they have it outfitted with all baseball stuff, as you would expect. But it is not cheesy baseball stuff. They have nice jerseys, wooden bats, baseballs and even a large scoreboard. It is a really well put together space that definitely lends itself to sitting back and relaxing with a cocktail in hand. While they focus on whiskey for obvious reasons, they do have a well stocked bar and several other options for you if that isn't your cup of whisk-tea (see what I did there?). While I am not a big straight whiskey guy, I am a boozy slushee type of guy, so that is exactly what I enjoyed this latest visit in. They had two varieties, which they rotate, pina colada and bourbon mule. Bourbon mule was the absolute winner and perfection on a hot Friday afternoon at the Battery! Service was stellar and on point. The bartender was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly to both of us. We were unsure what we would enjoy, so he helped us out and ultimately came in clutch with the slushee recommendation! Overall, ASW is slowly becoming a favorite spot of ours. We live pretty close to the Battery, so to be able to swing in and grab a slushee, hang in the comfy chairs or on the patio while being in the middle of the action without actually feeling like you are in the middle of it is a huge win for us. So, in short...we will certainly be back on game and non-game days!

We've been wanting to come try the new ASW at the battery for a while and finally got the chance over the holidays. It was a quite Wednesday evening so there was plenty of space to spread out. The bartenders were very nice and attentive, space is fun and clean, and drinks were high quality and fairly priced. There were also some board games you could play if interested which was a fun touch. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back. ASW spirits are high quality and I love supporting local businesses!

4 stars only because I was so disappointed with the flight I ordered. It consisted of the vodka that pretty much tasted like rubbing alcohol, gin was better but still not great. We also had the fiddler heartland and the resurgence and sadly all fell short. We are huge fans of ASW so this was a huge disappointment. We weren't able to sample the bottle we pre-purchased due to tastings not offered until weeks later. I am sure our local spirits store will have it to purchase. Hoping for a tasting at sprayberry bottle shop!!

First time to the Battery and was looking for somewhere to get a cocktail (plenty of places). Took a shot at ASW. Wanted a Tequila but their main liquors are Fiddler Bourbon and Bustletown Vodka. Loved sitting outside. Great people watching location.

Stopped in for my brother in laws birthday. We went on a Thursday afternoon around 4. It was pretty empty but very nice! The decor was very fitting for a casual distillery . I had a bourbon and lemonade but they had a nice selection of crafted cocktails as well bourbons & whiskeys. My brother in law got a flight and as a bourbon connoisseur, he thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff was kind, can't wait to visit again when it is warm.

Another cool spot at the Battery, esp for whiskey lovers. We came in after a day game for a couple drinks and place was not very busy. Not a full service place by any means and you order drinks and snacks at the bar and there's also a cashier at the front for btls, glassware and other swag. It was nice to be able to try some more of the offerings and there's even a bar outside serving up pours. Food wise there aren't a ton of offerings but we grabbed a few diff cheeses and meats to make our own charcuterie board essentially. Def worth checking out.

Walking through the battery, I happened upon the word "Distillery", and being a Whiskey fan, I had to stop in for two fingers. My girlfriend wanted a Mule, and really wanted a peach mule, so the bartender whipped something together off-menu that my girlfriend absolutely loved. I had the Resurgens Rye, which I will absolutely buy a bottle of as it was a very good Rye. This will definitely be a place I stop at to finish the night off with a nightcap whenever I'm in the Battery.

Thankful that there's more to explore at The Battery now. Ample seating and outdoor area. Away from some of the craziness. Support local. Whiskey goes down smooth. Cocktails are available as well. Definitely planning on coming back as a regular.

We were so excited to bring our frind here for his birthday and do a tasting. The wait staff, if you can call them that, was so rude. There was no one in the place, it took over 3 minutes for them to even make eye contact. Once we did, they weren't helpful or nice. They acted like it was a pain to serve us. Once we ordered, they never aksed us if we wanted anything else or if we liked it or offer any knowledge about the flight. Good news...they saved us tons of money. We ended up sharing a flight and leaving. We will never go back!

Came here for a few drinks with a friend; the staff behind the bar were so friendly and cool and the manager was also awesome and very friendly! Oh yeah, and the drink were delicious! Will definitely bring coming back to this place!

Great time at ASW Distillery for Thursday night music bingo. The drinks were good! The owners were nice and personable. I'll be back!
