AT Bistro | Au Troisiéme

Service was great and very accommodating. We ordered the Midnight pasta, instead of shrimp we requested chicken - no issues or problem with the request! We also ordered the stream frites and the bang bang shrimp. All the food was very tasty and well balanced. My only issue/disappointment was the Happy Hour “rules”. We were sat down in the dining room area and requested the Happy Hour menu. I ordered the appetizer and a cocktail and a few moments later was informed that the happy hour prices were only applicable for those who sat at the bar. I’ve never experienced a situation with that type of ruleset before, but regardless my overall experience was good!

Was based out of Park Cities for a 10 day work trip, and on all 4 free nights I ate here. And for good reason. Service is excellent. From the hostess, to what feels like my new friend, Alejandro, behind the bar. Really welcoming, happy, and a good place to be. As for the food, it was fun, fresh, and well cooked every time. Had the salmon twice, steak, shrimp tacos, and the tomato salad 3 times. Couldn’t fault it. It’s much calmer than Il Bracco, that to me is its only local competitor, and the foods better here, with more variety, great specials, and a welcome home vibe.

Wonderful dinner! Espresso martini was perfect. Every dish was perfect. Our favorites were the tempura shiitake mushrooms, crab cake, and wagyu. Service was amazing. Very attentive.

If you're looking for authentic French flavors and a new "third place" for you life, look no further than AT Bistro. We have been multiple times and never disappointed. Parking is easy in the adjacent garage. The full bar makes great cocktails. And every meal we've had has transported us to a Parisian brasserie. I highly recommend!

I recently dined at this fantastic restaurant and had an exceptional experience for lunch! The smash burger was cooked to perfection, juicy and full of flavor. The Yellowtail Crudo was incredibly fresh and delightfully seasoned. My friend thoroughly enjoyed the steak frites, cooked just right and satisfyingly crispy. Overall, impressive dishes, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere! Highly recommend!

I had this place on my list for a while and I just happened to be in the area on the weekend. I was so happy we visited this place because I know this place will soon have reservations for days. The food was so good and so were the drinks. The hostess who helped us was spot on with her recommendations and the seasonal drink was great. I am not a fan of fries on side but I actually remember the fries from this place. They were perfect and so was the burger. Very impressed by the bread. The tuna salad and the dessert and the end were so good. The host helped us to a lovely booth since the place wasn’t too busy and were very welcoming to us. The service was quick and the food amazing. Will definitely be visiting again.

As soon as we walked in I was just like ... Wow This lovely place looks stunning inside, the hostess was so smiley and gave us a warm welcome. We were seated right away, it was a beautiful day so we decided to sit outside. I like their patio, it's completely covered, very comfy and definitely a lot of privacy we got. I honestly wanted to try everything from the menu. I thought we picked a couple of items only it we ended up with so much food :))))))) Delis food of course and we almost finished it all including dessert. Like I said all of our dishes were spectacular,but if I would have to pick a fave, would be the spicy shrimp, fries (don't judge me) and the almond joy. I've never had such a unique dessert before. Was amazing really. I asked for more chocolate syrup, I highly recommend you do that too if you go here and have this tasty treat. Muhammad and Hugo was our servers and this very helpful gentleman called Dee, who I owe special thanks for, for bringing me all the extra things I wanted for my meals ;) Even the owner Bobby paid us a visit who is extremely delightful. I always appreciate the extra love. We are all the same after all. Our next trip here is already in the make, stay tuned! Free parking across the street. A few weeks ago, I realized that I had fallen into a sad and mundane rut. My dining choices over the past few years were always the same...joints that were on my well-worn and tired rotation list. I wasn't taking any culinary chances anymore. I was playing it safe...too safe. I came to the conclusion that I had to, once again, start throwing dining caution to the wind. I told myself, "so what, if a new experience resulted in a less than stellar night?" I had to get past the unexplainable fright of an eatery that might offer sub-par service, too many ankle-biters, poorly-attired and misbehaved crowds, and inferior seating options too close to the kitchen. As part of my new gastronomical safari into the unknown, I rolled the dice on a place I noticed a few times in my travels, AT Bistro in Preston Center. After all, it had good reviews on Yelp, was reasonably close by to the old homestead, and one didn't have to fool around with valet parking given the plentiful parking options. On our mid-week journey, the restaurant was not quite half-full which is big plus in my dining book. The mid-evening crowd seemed to be be a mix of business people and groups of friends. The ambience is pleasant and eye-pleasing, a step up from a casual eatery. The menu doesn't wander too far from the beaten path...it's solidly new American. While I'd prefer a little more variety, as of late, my dining choices have been fairly middle of the road, so not seeing an adventuresome dish like foie gras and oyster infused spam on the menu didn't bother me. I went simple for my menu selection, sticking to the tried and true roasted chicken preceded by a Caesar salad. It was solidly above average. I can't offer any of suggestions or criticisms from my elementary epicurean brain. Simply put, it was an enjoyable meal, with good service, and I'll certainly head back, sometime in the foreseeable future. That is, after I have completed my current safari into the dining unknown.

Had a reservation for 6 on a Saturday night and had a nice time overall. Good service from the Host and Amelia, our server. Seated promptly. Good suggestions from our server. Drinks were good as is the he bourbon selection. Wine program needs some work. The wine guy upsold us. We ended up with a $145 Merryvale Cabernet as they were out of the $75 Walla Walla Cab Franc we ordered. They served the Merryvale at room temp instead of Celler temperature. The Napa SauvvyB we ordered had turned but they were good about it. Steak Frites had great quality steaks but arrived barely warm at table. Fries were warm but not hot. They did have warmed plates which was a nice touch. Nice espresso martinis to close out evening. Great bartender that had us taste a couple of whiskeys. Not sure I need to return. At $325 per couple the lapses should NOT have occurred.

Been a few times for happy hour, excellent food but general feel of the restaurant could use some work. Great wines and great food.

Went for a mid-week dinner with friends. The food was very tasty and unusual (quail or green fried tomatoes - local twist). A lot of dishes with foie gras, if you are a fan you'd appreciate that. The best part though was the staff. They were not only knowledgeable, but very engaging, fun, and nice. It just added to the experience. Plus can't go wrong with half off wine on Wednesdays, am I right?

Food was great, cocktails were nice and strong as well. We actually didn't like one of the entrees and the owner/manager that was checking on us (he did so many times which was very nice) comped our entree and gave us a free dessert. The peppermint patty dessert was amazing !

Dinner for two this way please. Nice ambience with a French theme. The bar area is pretty small and the restaurant itself is not huge but very charming. There's a nice outdoor patio as well. That would be great during the spring and summer. The service is above excellent. Andrew was fantastic and really made sure our evening went well. One of the owners came by and chatted with us for a bit and we truly enjoyed that. While it sounds French it's not a French restaurant per say, but instead a restaurant that features various dishes prepared in a French style of cooking. Point being you may not find your favorite French dishes on the menu. Not to worry. Everything we have tried has been fantastic. I highly recommend the beef tartare and fried oysters starter. Portioned for 2-3, perfectly prepared, and so good! The fish and chips is a good example of a dish prepared in the French style of cooking. So their fish and chips is a pan seared halibut without breading, over cherry tomatoes and sauce; accompanied by onion rings. No chips. My wife found it very tasty, but thought a few of the onion rings were a tad soggy. I had the Wagyu with Foie Gras Swiss cheeseburger. It was very good but boy it is a lot to eat and very rich. The seared Foie Gras was such a good add. The large helping of accompanying Parmesan french fries were very good, and my wife stole almost all of them! For dessert we had to try the flaming, mint chocolate chip pie with meringue. They flame it tableside and it is spectacular. A large piece so very hard to finish.

Let's start with the cocktail list: a unique assortment of crafted cocktails made specifically to match the season, created by a true mixologist that knows how to balance flavors while amplifying the effect. And the wine list is extensive with just the right paring for every dish on the menu. For starters their small plates are perfect for sharing between two people with the Tuna and Avocado a must order. Their large plates will appeal to everyone with a nice assortment of meats, fish and vegetable options. However the big stand out is the Pork Sugo Ragu- probably one of the most delicious dishes my wife and I have had in recent memory. And to cap it all off is their desert menu with every option beyond appealing. Rarely do I get excited about a new restaurant but Au Troisieme is now my favorite upscale restaurant in Dallas

Couldn't wait to come back after my first lunch visit when they had first opened. Cozy and casual. Wonderful service. A Hawaiian twist to their menu. Sensational was their kalua pig, house ham, swiss cheese, mojo au jus "New Style Cuban" handheld. On this Saturday, to my disappointment, only brunch did they serve at lunchtime. New server. To our table was my tasty "Hawaiian Locomoco" before having to ask again for their shining "Biscuit & Jam". I just checked their home page before writing this review and the information is still not clear of them not serving lunch on Saturdays. Being so, no spur of the moment visit will there be from this customer ever again. Still, I wish this neighborhood bistro well. CHEERS!

We originally had reservations for "Malais Kitchen" where we were ignored for 20 minutes before walking out. So not a great start to the night. We walked around the corner to this place where we were immediately greeted with a warm welcome and seated right away. Good thing we had early reservations at the other place. The service was great and so was the food. We started out with the biscuits and crudo of the day. Both were delicious. I had the spare ribs and my wife had the pork sugo ragu. Both were delicious. My wife also enjoyed the French mistake for her cocktail. We finished off with the almond joy and the strawberry tart. We will be back!

Food was great. Ordered the escargot, grilled octopus, ceviche, steak tartare. All of it was delicious! For the entree we ordered the steak frites and the wagyu and foie gras burger. Enjoyed every last bite of this meal. Will def be back.

Absolutely delightful. Made a resy and came here for lunch with a friend. Service was great and the food was delicious. We shared the bang bang shrimp app and it was so good. I loved that how light and crispy it was not heavily battered. I had the tuna noodle salad and it was flavorful and unique. I thoroughly enjoyed it. My friend had the grain bowl with wagyu steak it was amazing as well. We had the watermelon cocktail-so refreshing! Will definitely be back to try some other things soon!

We tried this place on the recommendation of a friend. And after reading the reviews here. And still it exceeded our expectations! We had a reservation at 7:00, which was unnecessary because apparently this fabulous place remains undiscovered. We met our friend at the bar, where we had a fun conversation with the bartender about how to make a whiskey sour, a Tom Collins, and other various old school drinks. We were having so much fun we had to be dragged to our table by the host! Our waiter was knowledgeable with a dry sense of humor, which by the end of the evening had me laughing constantly. We shared all the plates three ways and every single dish was amazing. We had both the mint chocolate dessert and the coconut one and we finished every bit. (And they were HUGE). Bonus: the bill was lower than expected.....!

Excellent service. Outstanding food. Interesting and delicious dishes. Well made cocktails and a thoughtful and extensive wine list. Maybe one of the best restaurants I've been to in Dallas.

We had dinner at Au Troisieme and loved it! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The restaurant is tucked in Preston Center and has such a nice ambiance inside. We were a group of 4 and ordered the biscuits and pork belly to start. We enjoyed them so much I forgot to get a photo. For main dishes we got the Sea Trout, Steak Frites, "Coq Au Vin" and the Swordfish special. All were delicious! We will definitely be back!

Amazing food, great service, wonderful cocktails. Perfect ambiance. Each plate is freshly made and you can taste the quality in every morsel. The presentation says it all. It is a dining experience you will continue to go back for. We have been there for lunch, happy hour and dinner, weekday's and weekends. It never disappoints. Our experience at AT bistro was a mixed bag. Overall the service was impeccable, our waiter was eager to explain the dishes and our drinks were meticulously filled. The appetizers got glowing reviews: we split the biscuits, mushrooms, octopus and crudo (which was the daily special). Our only eyebrow raise is when we asked the lady who set down the octopus what was in the sauce and she flatly replied that she didn't know and it was on the menu. Our mains ranged from the sea trout , fish and chips, steak frites and port sugo ragu. Each dish ended up being fine. While each had good components (for example, my steak was excellent but the frites were ok at best). The desserts were not our favorite and seemed like an after thought but the waiter did note that they were not on the menu because they were still working a few things out. I want to end with the one thing that bothered me the most about the experience. The manager both greeted us and said goodbye which was lovely, what I didn't appreciate with the amount of touch and back pats/rubs that came with it. I do not feel that this is either professional or appropriate with someone you have never met before. I did not mention it at the time that this occurred because I did not want to change the mood of the evening and I was not comfortable with the words that I was going to use at the time.

This place is so charming and the food is fantastic! We went for lunch. I had the Fresh Catch sandwich and definitely recommend it fried. My husband had the Cuban and requested Parmesan fries instead of regular. Everything was such good quality and fresh. We were the only ones in there on a Saturday. Help support this local business during weekend lunches.

Third trip, yesterday,turned out to be something less than expected. Menus advertised Half-price wine Tuesdays and Wednesdays. So, we ordered a couple of bottles of Beaujolais to go with our fried chicken. We got billed full price. When I called to inquire, whoever answered told me they changed the half-price nights to Sunday and Wednesday. Bait and switch? Maybe not, but I'd advise verifying what's on the menu.

Delicious food. Friendly service. It's a must stop if your in Dallas. We couldn't have asked for a more fabulous meal after a long day of travel. 10/10 will go again if we are ever in Dallas again. Might I suggest the tuna and avocado small bite or the New Style Cuban!

Divine. AT bistro is absolutely divine. The wine selection is vast, the service is amazing and everything was delicious. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. The steak tartare, octopus and the scallops were amazing. We enjoyed every single appetizer and entree we had. I highly recommend getting a bunch of stuff and sharing with friends. I can not recommend this hidden gem enough. I can't wait to be back to try all the other things. Also, Hugo is awesome.

This was ... blah. Idk where to start. Restaurant: Average service, lacking ambiance. But the food... each dish had an element on the verge of being nice but overall just came up short. Would not go back or recommend

Excellent food and excellent service every time. The Herbal Margarita and their signature old fashioned are our favorites for happy hour or dinner drinks, and the crudo of the day, pork sugo and smash burger are our favorite bites! Great environment and patio area.

Alejandro at the bar welcomed me like an old friend. He recommended the Pork Sugo Ragu and a nice red wine. It all was excellent! In a big city sea of restaurants, I would make this my home island!

Great food and service! Tuna avocado was really good along with the steak tartare. We also had the crab cakes and steak frites which was excellent. Crème brûlée and snickers dessert were a great ending to the evening. I would definitely go back!

Not sure about this place. I was confused about what kind of food they served and I think they're still trying to figure it out. After eating there, I would call it Asian-French fusion. They give you seasoned popcorn as your table snack (think of it like free chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant). Their menu changes with the seasons. We liked most of our dishes and the service was great. It is on the pricey side. I think what this place needs is a good menu edit. The Asian flavors were all over the place and that's not always a good integration. We had Japanese with Indian with Hawaiian. Just an odd mix. If they could figure out who they are and market that, they might do better.

We tried this lovely bistro for lunch today and came away happily full and very impressed with both the food AND the service. Everyone (from the host to the server to the manager) was attentive and friendly, which made for a rare experience. The gazpacho was the best I've ever had. We all shared the tuna&avocado, the heirloom tomato&beet salad, and the kimchi Reuben! Hard to say which was best because they were all delicious!

One of my favorite places to eat . The freshest fish in town with delicious souses and spices. Bartender Alejandro mixes magic cocktails.

I find that your comments as an owner are very pompous. We definitely have eaten at very high end restaurants and know quality. However, $125 for a fried chicken dinner of such small pieces is outrageous. It does not matter how good the meal is when it so overpriced. Our entire table felt this way. Most likely, two out of three couples will not be returning. Have great time serving the snobs of Preston Hollow area. This is your customer who has no concept of money. Have you ever been to Babe's? It is probably the best fried chicken in the DFW area at over half the cost.

This new restaurant is sure to become a gem in Preston Center. We were very impressed by our whole experience. We were met at the door by the owner. Our server could not have been nicer. Wonderful menu. French-based but very imaginative without going overboard. The frites were perfect. The heirloom tomato and peach salad was delicious on every level. Dynamite Shrimp and the side order of wild mushrooms? Again, perfect. Dessert? Well now, run and do not walk to get the slice of mint ice cream pie with meringue and flamed table side! Oh so good. You can easily miss this restaurant on Westchester as the curb appeal needs some work so it jumps out more, but once inside, you will love it. We wish them nothing but success and once the word spreads, tables and reservations may be hard to come by. We encourage you to support this fine independent restaurant.

We stumbled on AT Bistro by accident--and it was such a find. Outstanding food, with incredible, fresh and innovative flavors, wonderful service, quiet and cute! We WILL be back! Don't miss out on this hidden gem in Preston Center. LOVED the biscuit appetizer (fluffy biscuits with sublime Thai chili butter and the freshest berry spread), fried green tomatoes (light, delicious aioli and pimento cheese I could eat with a spoon), avocado WLT (odd name, innovative dish with the most wonderful hearty mushrooms) and lemon ricotta pancakes!!

The owner seems to want to whitewash the incident, but the owner was maybe the worse part of the poor service. Again, the food was poor, except for the octopus. Burgers lacking taste except some objectionable topping. As for going back, why would we do that. They gave us nothing positive to build on.

This is a general review after having eaten here four times. I absolutely love this restaurant. The host Kareem is as warm and inviting as any host I've ever encountered. He sets the stage for the evening. The food is eclectic without being too bizarre and almost always absolutely delicious. Potato with caviar, sea trout, warm Brussel Caesar, sea trout, pork tomahawk, fish and chips all absolutely delicious. I will continue to frequent this place.

AT Bistro restaurant is a hidden jewel and is a diamond among Dallas' many upscale restaurants! Karim greets everyone at the door as though he is welcoming you into his home. The interior is a beautiful French Cafe style with cozy banquets and a friendly little bar. Service is friendly and fun and the staff is knowledgeable about every beautiful and delicious dish on the menu. Chef Bobby is an artist in the kitchen, both in creating unique delectable dishes and in presenting them as a contemporary sculpture. Chef Bobby even takes a moment from the kitchen to come greet his guests! With his tenure at restaurants and hosting dinners in the homes of his exclusive clientele in Aspen and Palm Beach, he settled in Dallas! Chef Bobby and his AT Bistro are our favorite new Texans! Impeccable service, an incredible kitchen and a beautiful cafe await!

Finally a place in our area that isn't just a steak house! Offering diversity (including steak) of flavors. and you don't have to, currently, wait an hour outside for crap service and subpar food. Amazing food, wine amd cocktails.

Absolutely amazing cocktails. The food is creative and also delicious. Go to be treated like the unwashed and seated at the otherwise empty bar tables while ALL other diners are in the cozy, warmly decorated, dining room. I would like to say I would return, but I highly suspect we were not very welcome. Should I have shown my balance sheet when making a reservation, I know I bathed?

Just not good. If you want spend money on caviar potato bites, must go to Beverley's. If you want a neighborhood place in Preston Center... I'm sorry to say this but this place is not that, I wish y'all the best though.

This is a GEM! I'm so glad it opened. It's a chef driven menu and so well prepared. The room is beautifully decorated-- and they have made the room festive for the holidays. The fish was perfectly cooked and the frites were PERFECT! I plan to be a regular! It's fantastic.

I'm not sure I've ever received such good service in 50 years of traveling the globe. Food- phenomenal. Service- Second to none. Ambiance- great. We WILL be back.
