Atelier

I get my hair done by one person, and one person only - Abigail at Atelier in Madison. Abigail has been the only person I trust doing my hair for the past 6 years. She transferred salons and I followed her, even though it is an hour and a half drive for me. Abi is a pro at balayage, but she knows how to do everything. I ALWAYS get comments and compliments on my hair after Abi has done it. I can show her a picture, and she will match it perfectly. She knows what looks best on me and also always listens to my visions. Atelier is a top-notch salon that makes me feel good going to, and I feel even better when I'm leaving. Go here if you are looking for quality hair that will look great for MONTHS! I cannot suggest Atelier or Abigail enough... 10/10!!

Atelier is wonderful! I see Abigail for haircuts and color and she absolutely nails it every single time. No matter what idea I bring her, she delivers. Abigail is seriously talented and fun to talk to! I get compliments on my hair after every visit.

I’ve been seeing Abigail for years and it’s always such a highlight of my week to visit Atelier. Not only is Abigail so friendly and makes you just feel so important when you’re there, she also is magical at taking ideas and transforming them into reality. I often show up with spur of the moment decisions or I haven’t made up my mind and she’s incredibly thoughtful and helps guide the appointment with her own experience and expertise and never makes me feel small for not knowing. Included a picture of a previous coloring earlier this year. Atelier is such a beautiful space, the massive amount of natural light makes every appointment just feel magical. The entire staff has always been so kind and welcoming, you’re offered a variety of drinks with service which just feels more of a treat. Olivia has been doing my brows and she’s always friendly and does such a nice job! The wax has never been harsh on my skin and I never have a ton of redness, that I’ve noticed at previous locations I’ve had my brows done at.

Abigail is the absolute best! She takes the time to get to know you AND your hair. She has done my hair enough times now to understand what it needs and how to keep it healthy but also deliver the look I want. Atelier is the kind of salon where you have an idea of what you want going in and you come out looking and feeling even better than how you imagined. The entire staff is genuine, kind, and friendly. If you want glowing, healthy, and absolutely stunning hair you have to go here!

I’ve gotten color and a cut done by Abigail and it’s been the best hair service I’ve ever had! She helped me decide what color would look best with my natural features, and was understanding that I wanted low-maintenance coloring since I don’t get my hair done often. It was also super relaxing and I still get complements on the color nearly a year later lol. The photo is from the hair coloring. I totally trust her with my hair, and Atelier has such an upscale cool ambience. Highly recommend!

I have been going to Atelier for a little over a year, starting with facials with Liv and now bringing my hair services over. The facials are AMAZING and well priced for the luxury experience you receive. Plus I have fairly sensitive combination skin and all of the products they use are safe to use for me. Definitely be sure to check her out! I recently brought over my hair to Atelier as well and have been getting hair services from Cassidy since November. At first I was nervous, as I am VERY emotionally attached to my hair and am picky about who I go to especially with 2b/2c hair and having experienced several bad hair experiences before. When I tell you Cassidy is an ANGEL and goes above and beyond to ensure you get the result you're looking for. I recently got a full balayage and I could've cried with how well it turned out. I will continue going back over and over again to Cassidy and Atelier because I know I'll get exactly what I'm looking for every single time.

I am so happy with my hair since I started working with Abigail at Atelier! I have colored my grays myself for many years and the previous salon I went to would do touch up a few times a year to make sure it looked good, but Abigail mentioned that balayage would add some dimension and brightness to my hair and she was so right. My hair color hasn't looked this good and healthy in years. I love the haircuts as well. I also like the neighborhood and find street parking easy.

I’ve been going to Joseph for my haircuts, and he’s absolutely amazing! He has a ton of experience from living and working in NYC, and it really shows in his work. Every cut grows out beautifully and somehow looks even better over time. I’ve lived in Madison for 11 years, and I haven’t found anyone with his level of skill here. I’ve referred several friends to him, and they’ve all loved their haircuts too. Joseph is truly a master of his craft, and I can’t recommend him enough!
