Chicago’s James Beard Award Semifinalists 2024: Restaurants, Bars, and Chefs | Eater Chicago
"Chef Christian Hunter’s newish fine-dining den, Atelier, earned a spot among the semifinalists for Best New Restaurant after replacing chef Iliana Regan’s decorated spot Elizabeth." - Naomi Waxman
"The hotel’s acclaimed three-Michelin-starred restaurant, designed by Axel Vervoordt and led by chef Jan Hartwig, focuses on seasonal, regional cuisine; signature preparations include dishes such as Bavarian trout with sunflower seeds, parsnip, calf’s head, chives and buttermilk. Due to its high standing and limited availability, reservations should be made well in advance." - Rachel Preece
The exterior and interior of the store reminded me of the cute little boutiques in the East Coast. You can find mostly gifts for the girl who is into home decor. You can also find scent oils and cards with unique, cute and minimalist art designs.
If you are in the neighborhood ~ I highly recommend to stroll inside the store and look around ~ you might get lost with staring haha

It is always fun to go into the store and see what's new and the friendly owners working. It feels like there's something for everyone in there. I often struggle thinking of gifts for people - and sure enough, Atelier always helps me out with finding things I am proud and eager to gift. The most special part of this place is the authenticity that comes with the name. If the owners didn't make it, other local artists have with so much you find in the store... from the jewelry, pottery, candles, stained glass, the list goes on and on! All so tasteful and thoughtful. You're sure to leave Atelier with something cute and local with a smile on your face.

I was told about the shop and it was worth going to. Great assortment of items that are unique to a boutique. I am always looking for the independent owner to support their business. They always have unique items and wonderful personal customer service. Let's support the mom and pop shops!!

My bubs and I stopped in here this afternoon and we are certain that it is the cutest and most well curated store to exist on earth. If I lived closer, this store would be my identity. Also, how are the prices so reasonable? For how adorable and artisanal it is, I expected the prices to be blown out. And the miniatures? WTH.

Love this shop! Small shop with a big impact Lots of handmade, local, and vintage goods. I never leave empty handed. Great for gifts and great for treating yourself as well. Local art, cards, jewelry, vintage Persian rugs, pottery, vintage clothing, plants, and plant stands, soaps, candles and other goodies to name a few.

One of the most curated stores I have ever set foot in! If you are looking to support local artist this is the place. Hand made jewelry, soaps, candles, pottery and they even have a vintage selection of clothes and rugs. Need a rad gift? Go here!

What can I say about Atelier that hasn’t been said about the Texas Rangers circa 2001.. I walked in and was sweating like a one armed bricklayer, statues yet to topple, the art was fully localized by expert dirt crafters.
Big beef action with the chonk on lock. Should have worn a size up because my pants shrunk as soon as I saw all the local plant calendars.
10/10 curation, would go again, would reccomend to a friend.

I appreciate their kind attitude towards getting to know their customers. I have never left empty-handed and I am so happy to have a shop like this located near me!

Yelp
Super sweet and cute shop with a great selection of curated items from small businesses and makers. They have a really cute thing going on here! Probably my favorite shop in SLC that I visited while in town. Also the owners are awesome!

Yelp
A great little shop! Lots of collaboration with smaller brands and makers which is really cool to see all in one place and the staff are SUPER friendly. The store is merchandised really nicely too.
If you're in the area would definitely recommend stopping in! West case scenario: you pick up a cute and clever greeting card for an upcoming occasion.
