I wouldn’t classify this as an upscale restaurant. It is RECOMMENDED by the Michelin Guide BUT IS NOT Michelin Star.
That being said, I’m a tourist and I’m there for the experience.
I see a lot of ppl complaining about the price.
You’re at a restaurant, not a shop or chain restaurant.
FOOD- some dishes were bad, specifically the so called Calamari. Tasteless with the same in sauce. Our mains were tasty, and so was dessert. Oh my god, while very small, it did hit the spot.
ATMOSPHERE- I feel it’s pretentious. When I came in after 11pm asking for a table for 2, the hostess looked me up and down. Now, idk if she’s never seen a bad B black girl before but whatever. A dress code doesn’t exist. A lot of octogenarians were there in shorts and polo tops.
Go enjoy yourself, especially if your hotel is in the area.
Wait staff was nice too.
