Beautiful restaurant with delicious food. High end fine dining. Centrally located. We had dinner here the salmon tartar and salmon dinner with potato puree mash and it was so good! Along with the Greek red wine was perfect. 6 minute walk from the popular shopping street ermou

I wouldn’t classify this as an upscale restaurant. It is RECOMMENDED by the Michelin Guide BUT IS NOT Michelin Star. That being said, I’m a tourist and I’m there for the experience. I see a lot of ppl complaining about the price. You’re at a restaurant, not a shop or chain restaurant. FOOD- some dishes were bad, specifically the so called Calamari. Tasteless with the same in sauce. Our mains were tasty, and so was dessert. Oh my god, while very small, it did hit the spot. ATMOSPHERE- I feel it’s pretentious. When I came in after 11pm asking for a table for 2, the hostess looked me up and down. Now, idk if she’s never seen a bad B black girl before but whatever. A dress code doesn’t exist. A lot of octogenarians were there in shorts and polo tops. Go enjoy yourself, especially if your hotel is in the area. Wait staff was nice too.

Athenee maths: 2 teas (teabag, nice but nothing special) + 1 bottle of water = 20€ !!! No accompanying cookie. We asked for some honey and it never arrived. Legendary location, but bad service and unacceptable prices.

We had a good time at Athenee. The ambiance was really nice. The service was very good (not sure why some other reviewers had a bad experience). The food was ok and as expected on the expensive side. Overall pretty good.

While the service was ok, the food was borderline dangerous. We were a party of 5 women, 3 of which decided to try their risotto options (each of them ate a different one). All three started having severe stomach pain almost immediately after eating the food, one of which with intense symptoms (vomiting, headaches) as far as 2 days later!!!! Me and another friend tried their pasta. We also had mild indigestion. Even if those problems hadn’t risen, the quality of the food, the portions and the flavour were disappointing compared to the prices (more than 21€ for each dish!). Please do better.

My new discovery >Athénée< is located in the city center of Athens, right next to the popular 'The Department Store' Attica. It was an October afternoon when my paths crossed with Athénée for the first time. I immediately decided to take a look at the inviting menu. And right on the next page I was immediately attracted by 'Tartare colopoú 🇬🇷', a 'salmon tartare', which I had last enjoyed culinarily in Montpellier/France. So it didn't take long time to take my place in the outdoor area. The service staff was very attentive and fast. The drinks were served immediately and also very quickly the tartare. The presentation was very professional and top. The taste also corresponds to the presence. The salmon-avocado-green apple combination couldn't be more perfect. Topped with the Japanese Wafu Sauce, - a mixture of vegetable oil, rice vinegar and soy sauce, just great pleasure! χάρη σε to the chefs of the Athénée for a tartare that leaves nothing to be desired. χάρη σε also to the great service team for their friendly hospitality. Love, love, love! If you are looking for fusion in Athens, Athenee is your place. Had the most amazing meal last week and on top of it they were so dog friendly with my Chow Chow. Well done to the staff! I'd come back again!
