"If you want a quiet, central budget hotel, look no further than Athens4, five minutes walk away from Monastiraki station.
It has a young, back-to-basics vibe – no restaurant or spa here – and suits those who want to immerse themselves in the surrounding nightlife. Perhaps surprisingly, it also attracts families because of its large suites and its pet-friendly policy.
This compact hotel is built on the site of an erstwhile cloth factory and the interior decor nods to its history, with vibrant patterned wallpaper.
A colour palette of sunshine yellows, creams and light blues make the rooms appear brighter and larger.

Great hotel, cozy, all the staff is friendly and kind, the rooms are clean and well equipped with everything you need, the breakfast is great and vegetarians can find great products there. Loved the idea that the breakfast is in the lobby, gave the impression of a coffe house. The location is perfect, close to the Armu, to bars, to grocery store.
Thank you for the visit!

Perfect hotel. Bathroom in excellent condition. Comfortable and very clean room. Central location in Athens, close to everything. The receptionist, Margarita, deserves 10 stars! Thanks for the wine!

A quaint boutique hotel nestled gently away from the busy streets of center city. A stones throw away from a strip of restaurants for all tastes and budgets. Margarita and her staff were kind, patient and professional. I stayed 2 days, checked out for an excursion to Santorini, and checked back in for 1 day stay before leaving for the states. The second room was surprisingly more colorful and I thank the staff for the complimentary items!
Nice touch. Will definitely book another stay here whenever I return to Athens!

Nice boutique hotel. The rooms are very modern and decorated in different color schemes based on the floor of the hotel you stay on. The king sized suite was very comfortable and the rain shower was absolutely enormous. Down sides: there was no door separating the bathroom from the rest of the room, so changing after the shower became an issue with my kids in the room. Also, the door separating the two areas of the suite was completely translucent glass, so again changing became a struggle. The view from my room looked out onto the street, which wasn't much of a view at all. My only other real complaint would be there was no iron or ironing board, but perhaps that's not a common thing in Europe. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. There are an enless variety of shops and cafés within a stones throw and the room was very clean and comfortable for my family of four.

My family had an amazing stay at Athens4. Blew away my expectations. Perfect location in the center of everything but still quiet and safe. Rooms & Lobby were very clean. Breakfast was very unique and delicious. Provided cucumber infused ice water throughout the day in the lobby along with jars of cookies … a nice touch. The ladies working the front were very friendly and super helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

This boutique hotel is wonderful in a very comfortable way. Some may find them a little out of the way and also tucked away on a small street due to the old infrastructure of Athens itself. The staff here are very friendly and will always help get you want to go. The rooms are very clean!
We stayed in a family suite which had a queen size bed, bunk bed for 2 people with a pull out bed, and also sofa style twin. This room could fit up to 6 people. The beds are comfortable and bath rooms are very clean and well designed.
There are many restaurants around this location especially a lively one just around the corner. Be aware of the noise of fun music people talking till 2-3am which is normal everywhere in central Athens. There is a self serve laundromat a block away which was very convenient!!!!
It’s about a 10 minute walk from Monastrika Square with over a thousand restaurants, shops, souvenirs shops, brand name shops, cafes and much more. One can spend a few days just in this area. Plaka is also within walking distance and you can see the Parthenon from Monastrika Square. Acropolis is about $5-8 ride from the hotel.
Athens4 and their group of hotels are a definite excellent recommendation from me!!! A hidden gem

We enjoyed our stay at Athens4 Hotel. It’s centrally located, clean, and comfortable — a great home base for exploring the city. The room was well-appointed, and the price felt very reasonable for the quality. Breakfast was adequate, though it would’ve been nice to have a few hot options. The only minor downside was some late-night noise from the nearby bar and restaurant, but overall, a solid and pleasant stay.
