Best festive takeaways for a holly jolly Christmas feast in Singapore - SilverKris

"A private-catering take-home kit that recreates a Swedish Julbord experience in six courses for two, curated by Chef Matteo Pertoldi. The smorgasbord-style offering includes classic cold starters such as herring and gravlax salmon, Swedish Christmas ham, Swedish meatballs, a creamy potato-and-anchovy gratin, and rice pudding for dessert. Priced as a premium festive kit, it is available for delivery on select December dates and time slots, catering to those who want an authentic Nordic-style Christmas spread without travelling north." - Joy Fang

Dishes here are cooked to perfection. The crab ravioli is soft and moist, the short ribs are so tender they melt in your mouth, and the octopus is wonderfully soft. Even the black pepper crab choux is rich and flavourful. The artisan sourdough bread has a crispy crust with warm, soft bread inside, pairing perfectly with the yuzu butter. Desserts are well-balanced and the perfect finish to a great meal. Highly recommended! Do note that dinner service is only available on Fri-Sat.

Had a pleasant dining experience at this cafe:) My favourite was the egg mayo croissant and the burrata fig danish! Went in a little before 11am and was able to miss the lunch crowd that started to grow while we were dining. Even when the place started to fill up, it was still relatively peaceful and for the most part, everyone was mindful of their volume. I will definitely come back again for their crispy, buttery croissants in the near future!

We had such a wonderful dining experience here, and a big part of it was thanks to Manager Xingling. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel so welcome and taken care of. Her attention to detail, warm hospitality, and professionalism truly elevated our evening. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, from explaining the dishes to making sure we were comfortable throughout the meal. The service was seamless, thoughtful, and genuinely fabulous. Highly recommended!

Pricey cakes 🥲 but at least it tasted nice hahaha 1. Gateau St Honore - vanilla cream with choux pastry. Not bad 🙂 2. French Kiss - basically a raspberry and pistachio tart. You would think the pistachio will be gao by the looks of it cause there are so many green layers but no HAHA it’s only a hint of pistachio but the raspberry is gao so totally not jelat 🙂 3. Rock & Roll - basically a Ferero Roche flavoured cake with really rich chocolate and hazelnut cream. I like this the most cause its very indulgent 👏 I ordered a flat white for myself. Normal Lor.

Visited this cafe for breakfast before an event on a weekend. Sat at the outdoor area, where we were served by the friendliest lady who gave excellent menu recommendations. We were very grateful for the ice water on a very warm morning. The cured salmon was excellent and I'm still craving it today. Later, the cafe reserved and nicely packed all their cakes for me to pick up before closing. A truly enjoyable experience and I will definitely be back!

We tried a few cakes, ‘ROCK N' ROLL’ and ‘GÂTEAU ST. HONORÉ’ were the highlights for me. Coffee was med-dark roast, cocoa-nutty profile, not acidic, which was nice. Friendly crews too!

Walked past this cafe at teatime today and got reminded that I’ve always wanted to try their desserts!! Decided to walk in and had a really friendly staff to share and recommend the items on the menu - got their Black Swan ($14) cake in the end. It’s a black sesame based sweet treat and I really enjoyed it! Can’t wait to be back to try other pastries and their mains!

We loved the tiramisu, not too sweet and rich in flavour! The taste of coffee and liqueur were well balanced! the pomodoro pasta was good too, savouring every single bite of it!
