Made a reservation during summer peak, definitely worth it. The best restaurants near the National Archaeological Museum, and well worth the 10-minute walk. The high rating is well deserved (which isn’t always the case in my experience). Even with a completely full house, the wait was only about 30 minutes, very reasonable.

5 stars all around for this place. The food was lovely. I have only marked as a 4 star as I felt like the squid particularly could of been softer to bite. This is my own taste, and no reflection on the quality of my meals. The venue offers daily specials, which the waiters explain straight away once you receive menus. Very beautiful traditional Greek dishes. I liked that it was slightly out of the way of places like Plaka, which is known for its tourist traps. I found a lot of locals were here and it’s only a 10min walk from the main square anyways. Service was impeccable, with very polite and efficient staff. I went here twice after being dissatisfied with some of the tourist trap eateries. The stuffed vine leaves and octopus salad were divine! Thank you team!

I am traveling visiting Greece and after a full day of being on the go in Athens we wanted to enjoy a nice meal. I googled to find a place and saw that this restaurant was in walking distance from where I was and based on the reviews decided to go. Let me tell you that this restaurant is amazing!! The food was so good. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. Did I mention how delicious the food was!? We have so much to do and see here however I would definitely go back if time allows. Great choice for a great meal. We all enjoyed it very much

Ατίταμος was a great choice for our first meal in Greece. We had lunch for two on a rainy day, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The food was well-prepared and flavorful. We ordered octopus salad, dolmaki, grilled lamb, fried potatoes with feta, and Greek salad. Everything was fresh and satisfying. At the end of the meal, they offered us baklava, which was a nice touch. The service was efficient, and the portions were generous. It was a good introduction to Greek cuisine, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid dining experience in Athens.

Had a fantastic dining experience! I started with the zucchini slices, which were golden, crispy, and seasoned just right. For my main, I had the chicken skewers with fries—the chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the fries were perfectly cooked. The service was warm and attentive, making the meal even better. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for delicious, well-prepared food.

The service was excellent. The staff was quite attentive. The price was very reasonable. We had drinks and an appetizer, and we each had a main course and shared dessert. I would definitely recommend this place. 👌

Really good spot. Go for the basics, Greek salad was a hit. Moussaka has cinamon in the meet and I wasn’t a fan of it but the pastry they gave me to finish it all made a great balance. Would come back

It is just mins walking distance from the Archaeological Museum. I was there with my partner for lunch on a weekend, it wasn't crowded and we sat inside the restaurant. We were served quickly and the food arrived quickly too. Menu is affordable and has a few options. Service is good. Went by the Google reviews and it didn't disappoint us.
