"Red Brick: Beer From Around Here In 1993, the folks at Atlanta Brewing Company opened their doors as the city and state's first craft brewery. Although they've changed their name to Red Brick, named for the brick warehouse they now call home, they're still staying true to the original concept. Hoplanta and Laughing Skull Ale, named after The Vortex Bar and Grill, are the two year-round brews but the brewery also creates award winning seasonal selections. Their Chocolate Cherry Porter and Dog Days Ale are favorites. Red Brick is open for tours and tastings Wednesday through Saturday and each night of the week has something different to offer. Wednesday nights are half priced for college students with valid IDs, Thursday is trivia and Friday is live music."

We had a wedding inside the facility on 4/17/21. This place was amazing and there staff helped with the complete set up assistance. To see the warehouse transform from a Brewery Loading Dock to a wonderful setting for over 80 people was amazing.I have to really thank the manager Daniel and his staff for never saying No or We Can't. They did more to help set up and tear down then they needed too. My son and his wife love this place and drop in regularly. I had my doubts, but I have never enjoyed myself more as well as all the guests. They have over 20 plus craft beers that I heard were amazing. The staff set up games of Corn hole, Giant Jenga, Giant 4 In A Row and Ping Pong. Plus they allowed us to bring in video game systems and projected the game on a wall for a giant screen effect. They have an outdoor seating area and are Covid Friendly. The next day, the featured a local Artist showing her work and having adults Arts & Crafts. It might be out of the way, but if you want a great time, stop in, have a beer and maybe schedule an event.

Google
Atlanta Brewery is a great craft beer place to hang out. It offers several styles of beers, corn hole, ax throwing and food trucks on most days. Saturday is bring your dog day, you get $$ off your purchase.

I love how this spot is handling COVID. They have taken over the parking lot to give groups plenty of space. The selection of sours was impressive and all of the ones we tried were delicious. We discovered this spot after seeing that they did special collaborations with the aquarium. I would definitely go back for more.

Google
A really nice place. Tucked back in an industrial park, the location isn't especially scenic but it's relaxed. There isn't a lot of seating, inside or out, but it feels more intimate than cramped. The beer leans more towards the experimental, but if you're not in the mood for that they keep some classics on the list. They don't serve food, but food trucks know it and are usually about the place.

Google
My BF & I ❤️ this brewery! We visit often. Ale Ale Cool J is my favorite IPA, my BF likes their lagers. Angie is an amazing beertender, always super friendly and honest about the beer options to help us make a great choice. We recently attended an art event Thanksgiving weekend, it was super fun. The music was good, the place was super lively, and there was a great array of artists showcasing their work. This brewery is one of our favorites for several reasons, including the beer!

Google
Best brewery in Atlanta hands down. Not only is the beer the finest in the city, but the entire staff have become great friends of mine because they only hire cool down to earth people. The president Garrett Lockhart is as nice and down to earth as can be. The first time I met him we chatted for almost half an hour straight before I realized he wasn't just another patron having a good time. Anna the front end manager is the nicest, sweetest, and most wholesome human you could ever meet and all the front end staff she has hired reflects that. ABC isn't just a brewery, it's a family, and if you give them love and respect they reciprocate it a 100 fold.

Google
Booked this for my boyfriend and group of friends. They absolutely loved it! What an amazing time! Included in the tour I booked was 6 6oz. tastings, souvenir t-shirt and mug, and your choice of a 6 pack of their beer or a bottle of their house made wine. The tour was cool, it was included as well.

We come there with our monthly car meet, and have ALWAYS had incredible service, and wonderful beers. It’s a pleasure every single time! Connor today was so helpful with beer selections; they were so on point that we bought beer to bring home to our farm!

Yelp
Love Atlanta Brewing! Plenty of parking. Lots of games. Inside is spacious with lots of seating. They don't have food themselves, but on weekends, they'll usually have a food vendor. Most recently, I tried the Nana's Cobbler and it was delicious. It really tasted like dessert!! Within a 10 minute drive to other breweries in the area, perfect for brewery-hopping! Highly recommend!

Yelp
I cannot believe we haven't been here before. (We did try once, and they were shut down for a wedding, so perhaps check their website for events like that before showing up.) We went on Saturday night, and there weren't many people there. Maybe everyone was watching football? I dragged my boyfriend out of the house because Alabama was already winning by a landslide. Anyway, there is a great large outdoor space and you order indoors, where there are tables too. The bartender was so friendly and helpful, and patient as we studied all the choices. He even made us his favorite custom blend of two beers for our flight. I loved their new Howell Millionaire if you're looking for something light, and Boozing for Apples was fun for something more complex. They also have several board games inside if you are looking for something other than conversation. Two big things for us: dogs are allowed, and even welcome inside if they are well-behaved. Jackpot! And you get $1 off full-sized beers if you bring your dog on Saturdays. Like we needed any more reasons to support this place, haha. Our dog had a blast getting pet by all the patrons.

Yelp
We came here a few years ago when it was still Red Brick Brewing Company and it was a blast then, so it could have only gotten better. It's the oldest craft brewery in Georgia (since 1993) and the beers were very good. The flight was great and we took home some great beers. I hope we can return soon and check out all of the new stuff since the name change.

Yelp
I do enjoy coming here for my Georgia aquarium collaboration beers. Wish they would have the full collection though, I missed a few and would really like a can of each. Beers are good, space is wide, thought it could have a few more seats inside. Think not having food is a miss, such as nachos and grownup pretzels.

Yelp
I'm always looking for a new brewery to try in Atlanta. After my fun visit to Wild Heaven the week before, we spontaneously chose to hit up Red Brick. Red Brick is a ton of fun! I usually run into people I know when I go to Sweetwater but I literally knew zero people here. Let's just say, we could count the people of color here on one hand... us being 2 of the 5. Not to fault Red Brick, but brewery tours are definitely a bigger fad for a very specific crowd. It was a cloudy day, so we ventured inside for most of our visit. There is one bar, but since there were plenty of pourers available, the wait for a beer pour wasn't too bad. I'm not a huge stout or IPA drinker, which, of course, made up a majority of the options on tap. However, I enjoyed the Hibiscuwit (a slightly sweet and pink witbier). I ventured out of my comfort zone to try a couple of the other beers, including a seasonal beer I can't remember and the chai stout - because I do love a basic Chai tea latte from Starbucks. While it wasn't my favorite, it was bearable. At the end of the day, I still came back to my dependable Hibiscuwit. There was a big open room in the back, which is probably where most of the beers are brewed. I didn't really see a clear tour option, but there were a couple of couches, a few tables to stand at, and plenty of standing room. There was live music, some a few scantily costumed women, and a lot of people chatting it up with their friends. It was definitely an interesting and cool atmosphere. Overall, Red Brick is a really chill and hip place to hang out and drink good beer. After all, their motto is "Life is Short, Drink in Greatness." Pretty sure that is now my MO, too. Who can argue with that?

Yelp
Formally Red Brick, ABC is a solid brewery option in a rapidly growing market, one that for sure deserves to be checked out! Welcoming you to ABC is a cool "ATL" emblem that is located on the buildings face, it makes a really cool photo-op! Additionally, they have a great outdoor patio and they happened to be playing The Office when we arrived, so I mean...I already had mad respect for the place before even walking in the door! When you walk in, you are greeted by their main seating space and of course, their bar...which is easily the most important part of the place. The bar is good size and they had several, at times (3) bartenders working to ensure everybody got what they wanted with minimal wait. Additionally, mentioning the bartenders, you certainly have to mention their obvious love for and knowledge about craft beers. They somehow knew what you liked more than you...and I was OK with that! Now to talk about the beers - They had 20 beers on tap and according to them, they have a constant rotation almost weekly as they aim for 3 new beers every other week. They are able to accomplish this by doing small batch flavors built off a large scale base flavor. I happened to sample a few beers before committing to my first full size beer. I sampled the Car Hop (7.8% ABV), which is a light IPA that is meant to mimic the orange creamsicle drinks of the famed Varsity here in Atlanta. It was a solid beer with full flavors and a creamy orange taste. Next, I had the Kentucky Beer Dad (11.8% ABV), which came highly recommended and came with a warning due to its high ABV! This one had a rich full bodied flavor profile that certainly packed the punch promised! My third and ultimately favorite beer that I sampled and committed to was the Baked Goods No. 2 - This was a specialty brew that featured the likes of lactose, peach, mango, vanilla, cinnamon and toasted coconut. That sounds like a lot, right? Well, it was and it worked so effin well! Ultimately, it tasted like a perfectly baked coconut cookie! I feel in love with this beer and ended up walking out with a Crowler (19.2 oz) of it! If you are unsure of how much you want to drink of each beyond a sample, you can get a it served in a multitude of ways from a taster size (4 oz), Half Pour (8 oz), Full Pour (16 oz) and even to go (Crowler or 6 pack). So, they got you with whatever beer you want in whatever size for there or to-go that your heart desires! In addition to the beer, they have the actual brewery area where you can hang out that features over sized jenga, connect four and a few other games. And on top of that, they host weekly movie nights and this months theme is "rom-com's"! Something else I learned about ABC is that they are heavily tied into the Aquarium with a portion of the sales of their special marine animal themed beers going back to the aquarium. Such a fun cause and one that is so important to the city! Overall, I was really impressed with ABC and cannot wait to get back. Great location, great customer service and of course, amazing beer!

Yelp
Red Brick Brewery greeted us before we even left the bus. They literally had a wall of options for us to choose from. From what I hear, they add new ales regularly. The collaborative effort between Red Brick Brewery & The Georgia Aquarium caught my eye. "Sea Dragon" was my drink of choice! #ashsaidit #atlbeerbus #wishyouwerebeer

Yelp
We have been to Red Brick Brewing at least 10 times. If you love good beer, you must put Red Brick Brewing on your short list. Not only are they the oldest Brewery in Georgia, they have an extensive tap list that is sure to please anyone that visits. We have been to their Anniversary celebration. When it comes around again, you should be sure to attend. So many variants that are not normally offered. We have been taking advantage of the beer releases lately. You can purchase using Craft Cellar and pick it up when you can. They recently won some medals at the US Open Beer Championship. You should visit. They have rotating food trucks and you can bring in your own food. Trivia on Thursday Nights.

Yelp
We've been here many times in recent months to visit their outdoor patio for some beers. In general we enjoy their beers and their staff is super helpful and friendly. We've also taken covid precautions seriously and feel they keep things very safe while still being able to socialize. They have a number of outdoor tables spaced out and clean each after every guest. I highly recommend in general, but especially if you're looking to safely grab a beer out!

Yelp
NEW FAVE ATLANTA BREWERY! Tried for the first time recently. The beer selection was HUGE! Great service as well. Tons of options for everyones liking...plenty of IPA's, sours, stouts....they have it all!! I tried a flight and enjoyed every beer that I tried. They had great live music (it was a Friday night), and it was such a nice play that is a little more chill and low key compared to other breweries in the area. We leave right around the corner and I cannot wait to go back!

Yelp
I think I've found my new favorite brewery in Atlanta. Like most other breweries, Red Brick is located in an industrial area a bit off the beaten path. Definitely worth the drive though, and there's plenty of parking out front. The inside is spacious and well-decorated (more so than a lot of places). Lots of large tables to sit or stand at, as well as a small room off to the side with a table, couches, and TV that can be reserved for private events (but remains open otherwise). What really makes Red Brick stand out is their insane selection of beer. With 20+ beers on tap, there is truly something for everyone. They also have some really interesting flavor infusions- Key Lime Pale Ale/Peaches & Cream IPA/Vanilla, Cinnamon, & Almond Porter...get a flight a be adventurous. If you're feeling more mainstream, Hoplanta and Journey Without Maps are fantastic. On top of all this, the staff members are super friendly and prices are fair. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Oh my gosh, Red Brick, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways! 1 - You have the best and strongest liquor beer fusion that I have ever had. Knock me out and slap me silly, but it is bloody brilliant! 2 - The vibe in the atmosphere is upbeat and it feels like a good time (and it is). 3 - You serve my favorite beer that I fell in love with the 1st time I visited your brewery and that is Hoplanta! I loooove me some Hoplanta!! Mi favorita cerveza de Atlanta, siempre! I haven't been to Red Brick since the laws changed for buying beer from a brewery, but boy am I ever so thankful. That beer that isn't sold in stores I can now buy straight from here so yippee! I cannot comment on the tour here, but I think you will be okay if you choose to go on it or not. Once you've gone on a few tours for breweries or distilleries then you won't miss much at the next one.

Yelp
Really delicious local beers with a great selection! They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and a lot of parking. Great spot to meet a friend for a drink!

Yelp
My least favorite of the four breweries we visited this day. Yes, I visited four - it was fun! The beer was okay, but pretty mainstream. They had food for sale from a local caterer, and a gift shop. I'm glad I went, but there were other breweries I would return to before this one.

Yelp
Short: Red Brick is great for drinking and hanging out. Small but good selection. Long: I came here with friends while we were visiting the Atlanta area. I didn't know what to expect, but we did hear good things about this place. There was also a neat groupon we bought for this place. It included a tour, 4 "tasting" tickets, a shirt, and glass. An amazing deal. Now I put tasting in quotation marks because, I expected to have a small 4 oz pour. Instead we received large probably almost 16 oz pours. I was pleasantly surprised. You received 4 tickets, a ticket for a beer, though some beers will cost you two tickets, well worth the price for unique craft beers. While we were checking out the place, they had a live band and few out door games to play, gigantic jenga and cornhole. Everyone here is friendly, its a feel good vibe. Anyone is generally willing to chat about whatever. Too bad they can only be open for a few hours a day. Overall, definitely stop by if you are in town. Fantastic place for beer and a bit local feel and less touristy.

Yelp
My wife and I got married here in May of 2022. The Atlanta Brewing Company was a dream to work with. During the planning process, they answered all our questions promptly and thoroughly. They helped us contact a pint glass printing company who made our wedding favors, and they helped us follow up with the company when that company misplaced our order. The week before the wedding, they were very accomodating when we visited them a couple times to figure out our final set up. And during the wedding, they helped us set up tables and chairs, and served everyone delicious beer. Thank you so much Anna & Maddy for making our wedding so amazing!

Yelp
Nice Nice Nice!!!!!!! A very cozy laid back spot with plenty of beers to indulge in, one of the premier breweries in Atlanta.
google avatar

Yelp
The place is pretty small and tucked away, but the beer is delicious and it's a nice and intimate atmosphere. Only cons are that it's pretty far and some breweries have bigger facilities to check out. Nonetheless - it's red brick :)
google avatar

Yelp
Great beer and great service! The bartenders are very knowledgeable. They don't serve food but you can do Uber eats, and have your food delivered to the brewery. Great place .

Yelp
Red Brick has been one of my favorite joints ever since college. I went to tech so my senior design team would come here every tuesday for trivia night. Absolutely love their IPA offerings since im a huge IPA drinker. Trivia night is always a blast, the brews are strong and flavorful! The setting is a bit smaller than most breweries but definitely not limited. They offer high tables and bars on the side to set down your drinks. Also, a ton of parking which is fantastic especially in Atlanta. If youre looking for a go to spot for your brews definitely check out Red Brick! It'll most likely become regular spot for yall :)
google avatar

Caroline R.

Yelp
ABC is the best that Atlanta has to offer! If you're looking for delicious, high-quality beer and a laid-back, neighborhood ambiance... look no further! Atlanta Brewing Co. offers a beer for every palate - they have 20 on tap, all brewed to perfection. Their passion and knowledge for all things beer is prevalent with every pour. Everyone you meet is warm and welcoming, and will make sure you find the beer that's right for you!

Yelp
I was there for Europe cars, the beers has a good taste and the bartenders are great they give us a great recommendation they have all kind of beers I highly recommend the hop Atlanta if you like IPA beers!!

Yelp
Fun brewery near West Midtown. It's off the beaten path a little, so don't been concerned by all the turns your Uber driver is taking! There's lots of parking available if you have a responsible person in your party as well. My friends and I met on a Friday night, and the place was busy but not uncomfortably packed. There's some room outside with cornhole. The actually brewery part had a live band, but it was way too hot and humid to be enjoyable. The Southern Roots sweet potato beer is awesome! Apparently it's pretty much run out for the season - please bring it back!! Good beer selection - 6 tastings for $12.
google avatar

Andrew M.

Yelp
There is great outdoor seating. It can be tough to find covid-friendly places during the pandemic, but Atlanta Brewing Company has safe options. The trivia night is a great way to enjoy outdoor dining in a fun setting.
google avatar

Tim D.

Yelp
Over the last couple of years Atlanta Brewing Co. has moved from a brewery I enjoyed the occasional beer from to one of my favorite Georgia breweries. I've been visiting for nearly 20 years and have always loved them as one of Georgia's original breweries even though the beers could be hit or miss. What they are brewing now has been fantastic. Sours, IPAs, stouts, Pilsner. They aren't a one trick pony. For the best experience make sure to visit the tasting room and sample from over 20 beers on tap.
google avatar

Isabella D.

Yelp
Red Brick's brews are different from any I've ever had. They explore all types of flavors- from pineapple, to sage, to strawberry and guava- and they knock a lot of them out of the park. They also do a lot of "milkshake" brews that are really delicious and slip right down. I would recommend getting a few flights because they have so many beers to try! We went to Red Brick on Thursday for trivia night. This was our first time and it was a lot of fun! I definitely suggest getting a group together and going for this (and the beer!) Red Brick gets 5/5 for tasty, unique brews, and competitive trivia.

Anh T.

Yelp
Great service. Good beer and variety. Love the space and the option for food! Def would recommend and come back next time

Yelp
This is the little red headed sister that most locals look past when they go to the store to get beer. Being a Taco Mac bartender, I see alot of the people come in and get a Sweetwater, or a Terrapin. But they forget about Red Brick, and after last night it makes me sad to realize this. Red Brick has an awesome vibe to it, and they make some really good beers to boot. They arent flashy, but looking to be more then a last resort for people who cant get other beers. They also contract a few beers around the area, so you may be having Red Brick beers without even knowing it. On top of that, the tasting room is pretty awesome, and they have alot of great events going on during the weekend, giving people plenty of options. They also have some cool shirts to check out. And the trivia is pretty hard, which is fun.
google avatar

Joanna R.

Yelp
Had the most awesome time this Saturday afternoon with my boyfriend. Came to visit the brewery with a Groupon I got for $29 that was on the verge of expiring. We got two tshirts, glasses, and twelve tastings that were actually almost full beers. Can't beat that with a stick! Lots of people and a really great live band. We will definitely be returning. Oh! And God bless that gentleman selling lamb burgers outside the brewery. Lorrrdd finger lickin' good.

Yelp
Quick stop at Atlanta Brewing Co. after Saturday morning breakfast (Yes, after breakfast!) We sat in the parking lot which they did a great job laying out to maintain physical distance. Great brew and excellent weather. Staff was amazing and appreciated us visiting. We relaxed on the lounge chairs and had wonderful conversation. Great day!
google avatar

Christopher P.

Yelp
Red Brick Brewing is a solid choice for a couple of hours of fun with friends. Georgia has that weird law where a brewery can't sell beer directly to customers on site, so Red Brick sells a pint glass with four vouchers for 'free samples' for ten bucks. Each voucher gets you half a pint of one of their available beers, and sometimes a bit more! That's a great deal for ten clams, especially since the beer is cool and you can learn a lot about beer from their tour. The tour guy gives one of the most succinct and thorough presentations on how beer is made I've ever heard. Ping pong and tables are available inside, and in the brewery itself, too. Food trucks and BBQ make up the whole range of available food, so don't come with too big of an appetite, but the beer and atmosphere of fun will make Red Brick a place you go back to again and again.
google avatar

Kim B.

Yelp
I love coming to this brewery. They always have plenty of games from board games to cornhole and ping pong. They often have something playing on the projector inside as well. Service is great, beers are awesome, and it's always an overall good time every time I come. (I have been at least 15 times in 2017 alone.)

Yelp
Sweetwater Brewery vs. Atlanta Brewing Company In all reality, I am not going to compare them here. I am going to just review Atlanta Brewing Company for now. I met a group of people there last night for just a get together. Having been to Sweetwater and Terrapin Brewery (in Athens), we had a general understanding of what to expect. A brewery in a warehouse, a little bar area, perhaps an outside, and tables/chairs. First of all, it's really easy to find, but hard if you are one of those people who always thinks they went too far and want to turn around just before you get to your destination. Trust me, just keep going straight. There is plenty of parking, which is always good. It is smaller than Sweetwater or Terrapin, but I think it's a new location and they actually had another lounge area that I wasn't aware of when I was there. The cover is $7 for a glass and four bottle caps. You use the bottle caps to redeem your "tastes" of beer. I quote tastes, because it is really more like full glasses of beer, which is yum! My favorite was Red Brick Ale. I don't typically drink Atlanta Brewing Company beer, but I may have to start. Note: if you tip the bartenders you could possibly get away with procuring more than four glasses of beer. There is no outside for puppies to come enjoy brewskies with you, but that is alright. Definitely not a deal breaker. The crowd was chill and laid back...I kind of liked that a lot. It was a sharp contrast to the crowd at Sweetwater, but I am pretty sure at either places it's one of those hit-or-miss kind of crowd you run into. They have music or a DJ playing. It's a little loud because it's such a small place, but it wasn't intolerable. I would have preferred more music than him speaking, but if you go to the website it is not always a DJ, so that can be overlooked. I believe (once I move) Atlanta Brewing Company may be my new happy hour place! It will definitely be close to home.

Yelp
I have to admit that I was skeptical when my friends invited us to meet them here one random Saturday afternoon...but I was curious, so we went. The location is as far back on Defoor Hills as you can go, so it's industrial. That seems to be a developing theme with new breweries, but I digress. More people were there than I expected, which was a nice surprise. $10/each gets you a pint glass and six healthy pours. The atmosphere seems genuine; you can tell that they actually brew beer here because the seating area is out next to the tanks. The selection is great and I've been remiss to have ignored them for so long. A couple of IPAs, a double IPA, a tasty stout and a couple others I can't honestly remember, were the selections of the day. What I do remember is sitting there in disbelief that I was drinking really good craft beer produced by the same company who mass-produced that awful Killian's ripoff back in the 90's. For those of you who remember the original Red Brick Ale, you should definitely come try on the persona of the new Red Brick brewery. It's not only refreshing, it's reassuring, to know that old school institutions like this one can change for the better.

Yelp
A friend of mine made this the first stop on her Labor Day birthday weekend extravaganza, and we loved it! I've been to Sweetwater for the tour several times, and it's great but super crowded. At Red Brick, I arrived about 45 minutes after they opened and was able to park in the lot right in front of the brewery. Score! I walked by a group of folks playing cornhole in the parking lot on the way in, and was greeted at the door by a guy behind a register. I was a little confused about what the deal was, but figured out pretty quick that I could enjoy 4 free tastings and a tour, or I could buy a $10 souvenir pint glass and my four tastings became 4 full pints. Ummm...yeah! We started in the open warehouse area, but moved inside shortly thereafter because it was a bit too hot and muggy outside. I think in the fall, the warehouse would be gorgeous. While I enjoy the awesome bargain for delicious, locally-brewed goodness, I also got to play a little ping pong (one of my most favorite things!) and I won't even hold it against Red Brick that I got "paddled" by the last guy I played, 21-7. Of course, 3 pints in, it was hard to hold a grudge. They also have a live band playing, and it's generally a festive and fun atmosphere. The beer tenders are fast and friendly, and the selection is fun. Next time you're looking for a fun kick-off to the weekend, head over to the Westside and grab some Red Brick. You won't regret it!

Yelp
TLDR: The oldest brewery in Atlanta also happens to be one of the best, with a great selection of a variety of styles. With the laws improving for breweries in Georgia, there have been a number of breweries and brewpubs opening up in the last few years, especially in Atlanta. While all of them are pretty exciting and brewing up really good beers, don't forget the original, Red Brick Brewing Company. While I thought their beers were pretty good in the past, there seems to a resurgence in the popularity of Red Brick's beers. Some may point out that their new Director of Brewing Operations has really helped out in the quality of their beers. Either way, if you have been skeptical of Red Brick in the past, you definitely need to come back and give them another chance. Red Brick is putting out some really good beer. And Red Brick is doing this while being located in an area of Atlanta with lots of competition when it comes to craft beer - Second Self, Scofflaw, Monday Night, Urban Tree, and 5 Seasons are all fairly close by. Red Brick is located towards the back of an industrial park so the area itself isn't too busy and if you don't Uber, Lyft, etc. here, there should be plenty of parking available. There is outdoor seating available and they do allow dogs here, so full free to bring Fido with you for some beer. The tap room is pretty casual and it's a great place to just hang out and have beer. There are 20 or so beers on tap, and if you use Untappd, you can check the tap list ahead of time through the app or you can use this link: https://untappd.com/v/red-brick-brewing-company/16826. Since there are twenty or so beers on tap, it may be hard to commit to just one. You can always choose one of their small pour options, which are 4 oz, 8 oz, or 10 oz - that way you can try more without having to get a full pint. I have tried quite a few beers here, but be on the look out for these ones, as I think they are some of the best you can find anywhere: - Hype Whale (Imperial Stout) and its variations - Vanilla Gorilla (Imperial Porter) and its variations - Journey Without Maps (double IPA) Service is always great here too, so you have no reason to not try this place out. Go support!

Yelp
I came, I saw, I got the t-shirt! There's a damn good reason they're the oldest brewery in Georgia, and fun, quality beers are the reason they stay standing. You're allowed to bring your own food because they don't sell any, so we got to have beer with our Cook-Out. Creative stouts, solid IPA, and a very generous amount of tasting tickets. We even got to keep the glasses!

Yelp
If you're a fan of local craft breweries, you should certainly check out Red Brick in the Upper Westside. Generally (and especially on Sundays) they have less of a crowd as their fellow Atlanta breweries, like SweetWater and Red Hare. You might also be surprised to find that Hoplanta & Laughing Skull are both brewed right here! Also, I didn't realize Red Brick was the oldest brewery in the Southeast. If you want some additional history, they give a pretty good tour. Overall, Red Brick Brewing is a great weekend hangout spot for friends and family. You will not be disappointed by the taste of the beer, nor the selection.

Yelp
We went on a Thursday night, and didn't realize it was Trivia night. But I'm really glad it was, cause it was a lot of fun!!!! We actually won the trivia contest as well! The beer is a great deal also.... $8 for a glass, 4 beers, and a hot dog or hamburger. AWESOME! And winning the trivia got us 2 free passes for the beer tasting and a t-shirt. We didn't stick around the for tour. They had set up games outside (ping pong and cornhole) so it was a fun vibe.

Yelp
I was visiting from VT a state that is well known for its craft beer. A friend of mine in Atlanta brought me here. I went there twice during my visit and was impressed both times. Both Adrianna and Connor were great at describing the different beers they had on tap of their trailer. I went while COVID was was going on so everything is outside. I would love to come back and visit when the inside is open. I tried 3 out of out the 6 or 7 taps they had on. Their lightest IPA, Sour, and Stout. All very delicious. The stout tasted like chocolate milk and has and ABV of 11.5% so be cautious how smooth it goes down. The IPA had an ABV of 7.4% I believe. The sour was my favorite, It Takes Two Mango 6.0% ABV with Lassi sour, mango, raspberry, vanilla, cardamon, and pistachio.

Yelp
Despite the fact that I do not love the beers that Red Brick puts out, this brewery offers one of the best brewery tours I've been on- beating out multiple New Orleans and other ATL breweries. Why? Because they know their stuff! We bought the scoutmob offer ($24 for two people: tour, t-shirts, pint glasses and all the beeer!), and although it was a bit of a rip-off considering the tour and tastings are free (you pay for the pint glass if you want larger "tastes"), we had a fantastic time! It was worth it to me just to drag me down there to visit. Our tour guide was personable, intelligent, and engaging with the group. He answered every question easily, or found out the answers for us. Although the tour is not very long or very immersive (I wanted to walk around and touch things, but I guess we really can't do that anywhere), it was informative and I can honestly say I might actually pass a beer quiz. The facility is great- reminiscent of a neighborhood bar with a fun little outdoor area (dog-friendly!)- can you say drunken' cornhole tournament?! I'd definitely go back with a group.

Yelp
I've been coming to Red Brick periodically for the last 5 or so years. The location is good, the beer is great, and the bartenders are always super friendly and heavy handed. I believe it is $12 for the tour and tasting and you get six tickets. It used to be $10 and you only got 4, so the increase in price is understandable. They have live music on the weekends. There is an outdoor seating area as well, and in the warmer months they have corn hole set up outside. They also have a ping pong table inside (which can be pretty annoying as the night progresses and people's abilities decrease, yet their PERCEIVED abilities increase) and several high top tables. If I had written this review a couple years ago they would have gotten 5 stars, because I kind of miss the way the place used to look before they classed it up so much. I liked the mismatched couches and chairs everywhere - it had a nice frat house feel. Also, they got rid of Dog Days which was my favorite brew. I also haven't seen Blonde or A-town Brown in a while so they probably got cut too. But, I still recommend this place! It isn't overly commercialized like Sweetwater so you still get the local brewery feel, and fast service.

Yelp
Went for a tasting and tour on a Wednesday night. They offer a glass with 4 tasting tickets for $10. My husband and I went while on vacation, for what better way would you get 8 full glasses of beer with $20? Walking in, they have a nice chill outside patio, then a small shop with t-shirts and such, and then a bar area stuffed with high tops and couches. During this particular night, they had 4 selections offered. We tried each of them with our 4 drink tickets. My favorite was the Dog Days; my husband preferred the Hoplanta. The tour was subpar. You walk into the warehouse and stand in the middle of it for 30 minutes while getting the history, how to make beer, etc. I think the tour guide had a tough time controlling the drunks in the crowd and their idiot questions. I probably would have been happier skipping the tour as it was hot in the warehouse and farther away from the beer. Like I said before, not bad price for beer right from the source, but there are better tastings and tours in the area, if that's what you are looking for. If you just want cheap beer and a bar-like atmosphere after work or class, this is it.

Yelp
Went to ABC for the first time with a handful of friends. It was so fun and laid back. The cheep price ($8) that includes the glass and four glasses of beer was worth the heat of the hanger like area where the band was playing. The band was great, lots of fun music from a variety of eras. The beer was refreshing and they had everything from a summer brew to a heavier porter. Plus a few pale ales in between. It wasn't as packed as I have heard Sweetwater gets and I loved the dogs roaming around. My favorite it part was watching the crazies pack it into the cul-de-sac as they shot t-shirts from the door. It's only open for two hours, but well worth it!

Yelp
You really have to find some personal reason why you like this place better than Sweetwater. Pros of this place: More space; people can spill out to the front. Some people get corn hole going. Cons: They ran out of beer one time I went. How do you do that at the brewery? :(

Yelp
This is another example of having high hopes for a place. For some reason I had in my mind that I would be getting a tour of a grand brewery, but then my husband reminded me this was a micro brewery. Womp Womp. Needles to say I was not impressed & decided to skip the so called "tour". As for the beer, meh. I've definitely had better. The selection was few and, out of all the six beers, only one tickled my fancy. Also the tasting was in no way informative. I pretty much felt like I was at a bar ordering drinks. There was no information provided on the beers at all. I don't think this is an experience I will do again. This is more of a hang out spot for young college people. It's definitely not worth paying for the tour or the tasting.

Yelp
This is the 3rd Brewery I've ever been to in GA. I really liked Sweetwater and Red Hare but Red Brick was kinda disappointing! They only had 3 beers (on a Saturday) to choose from and actually ran out of one of them! I never thought you can run out of beer in a brewery but I was proven wrong! 1. Sweetwater had about 8 different choices of beer to choose from with 6 drink sample tickets. 2. Red Hare had about 6 different choices of beer to choose from with 6 drink sample tickets. 3. Red Brick had only 3 different choices of beer with only 4 drink sample tickets. Do you see the problem here?!? I mostly recommend Sweetwater over all others because it's soooo big and clean and has TVs! Red Brick has some improving to do! They do offer a special deal on Amazon right now for 2 people including 2 pint glasses and 2 koozies. Yes, it was a good deal! We had a very large party and that made it a lot of fun but next time, we will choose a different venue.

Yelp
This was my first brewery stop in Atlanta. The staff was super friendly. They asked where we were from and told us about the story behind the brewery and the beers they had. The bar staff was very knowledgeable and kind both in regards to their beers and helping us create a fun to-do list while in town. I loved every beer I tried. The boysenberry sour and the hazelnut vanilla gorilla were among my favorites, but I came to the conclusion that I couldn't go wrong with my choices. In ohio; beer prices vary a lot at breweries. Red Brick was pretty reasonable and was geared towards volume pricing instead of charging crazy amounts of dollars more for a high abv. 9% pint for 5 bucks - yes please !
