I stayed here on a business trip a few weeks ago. The hotel was just fine, but Ethiopia provided the best service I can ever remember experiencing at any restaurant ever. Not only did she plan ahead and prepare my meals in advance every morning to save me time, but she did it with so much care and consideration it made me want to come back just to tell her thank you and to say hello. Great way to start the day with a visit with Ethiopia. The definition of true hospitality. Thank you Ethiopia. I hope to see you again some day.

The staff at Atlanta Marriott Buckhead hotel is amazing. They turned a worrying event such as hurricane Elena into a lovely mini vacation. Ethiopia treated us with so much respect and made us feel at home. She helped me get access to a quite and cozy place so I can work and she also gave snacks for my husband and kids during our stay. Two months later my kids still pray for her and wish to go back to the hotel. Our experience was definitely a 5 start+ stay. Thank you!

I recently dined at the Lenox Road Bar & Grill located within the Atlanta Marriott Buckhead Hotel, and I have to say, it was an outstanding experience! The food was absolutely amazing, with every dish perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. I highly recommend the grilled salmon, which was cooked to perfection, and the dessert selection was a great way to end the meal. What truly made the experience special was the exceptional service from my server, Ethiopia. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure that every detail was taken care of. Her professionalism and warm demeanor elevated the entire dining experience. If you're staying in the area or just looking for a great place to enjoy a delicious meal, I can't recommend Lenox Road Bar & Grill enough. Five stars all around!

Rooms are so so, people are great and try to compensate facilities and typically (bad) American Hotel standards. Restaurant was nice, I recommend the Wedge Salad with shrimps added and blue cheese 🥰. Driss, the waiter, was great 👍! P.S.: Don’t believe the hotel pictures! Less than 10% of the rooms have a balcony but again, stuff made that I got a ‚garden room‘ (you will know what the ‚‘ are for, once you‘ll see it).

The staff is being setup to fail at this hotel. While everyone was nice and helpful, especially the valet staff for me, the rooms are extremely dated and old. There was a dirty rug and a stained armchair in my room. I was given an accessible room, which I'm sure is nice if you need it, but it meant that I had a shower with a folding bench that had visible mold on it. The AC was so loud that it woke me up every time it turned off and on. The walls were so thin that the last night all I could hear was the screaming baby and the fighting couple in the rooms next door. Additionally, despite being out of my room with no do not disturb on my door for 6+ consecutive hours beginning in the morning, housekeeping only made it into my room on 1 of 3 days they should have been in. I'm an adult who doesn't need my bed made every day, but when you're looking at a questionably clean carpet and realizing housekeeping is almost never coming in, yep, makes sense.

Enjoyed our stay here! Giving 4 out of 5 because the hotel could use some renovating. Great value and location! Staff was very good. Our last day we got breakfast and our sever Drios was excellent. Very attentive and charming guy!

Google
Update to origional post. Issue with the intense smell of pot on the terrace floor was addressed and taken care of quickly. Staff was very pleasant and always had a smile on their faces. As stated below, the rooms are dated and shower well in my room T67, if you want anything above a drissel, you couldn't have hot or warm water. I would stay again as long as it isn't on the terrace floor. Just arrived, positive, check in was pleasant and easy, we chose self parking, so I can't complain. Room is dated but comfortable, our floor "t" from elevator to room stinks of pot, not very pleasant to say the least. Will update at end of stay.

My niece & her children came to stay at your lovely hotel after being displaced from their Florida home for a week during Hurricane Milton. During the stay, the ENTIRE staff was amazing to my family. Specifically, I want to give a shout out to Ethiopia, who was a BLESSING to my family. She went ABOVE & BEYOND to take care of their meal needs everyday. Thank-you so much Ethiopia for making my family feel loved, safe, & fed, (to their heart's desire), during a trying time! Give Ethiopia a big thank-you from me, (a very worried Aunt in Indiana)! A reward or raise for Ethiopia wouldn't hurt either! ;-)

Yelp
This place is absolutely disgusting. It is August 3rd and the "pool" is green with an inoperative "pool cleaner" sitting on the floor of the pool. But wait, it doesn't stop there. The seats in the lobby? Dirty. The drinking water in the lobby? Has a moldy strawberry in it. EXCUSE ME? $170 a night for what, exactly? The Super8 experience? Writing this review made me itch. That is all.

Yelp
This is not a Marriott company owned hotel; it is a franchisee. Nothing wrong with that. It is an older property and meeting facility but it is nice enough. The bar and restaurant are nice and the food is good. Four stars for food and 4.5 service in the restaurant. I can't do a fair restaurant review because my meal was comped. Which gets me to the 5 Star service in the hotel. I had an issue with my room. Let's just say the toilet did not get cleaned and the hallway was getting a breeze off the grease trap. I went to the front desk to ask for housekeeping to take another run at the room. There I met Marquis who went far above and beyond to make things right. Marquis upgraded my room and comped my dinner and drink. 5 ***** service to do the right thing. Thanks Marquis.

Yelp
"Defies expectations" is some terrible ways. For the good... front desk staff here is AMAZING, room was clean and standard Marriott stuff. Decent power plugs and desk was actually friendly to my computer mouse. I got to my room and the panel to the air filter was open and it used screws to reattach so I needed staff to do it. Door to my room wouldn't latch unless you pushed/pulled the door shut; how the staff hasn't noticed or fixed is beyond me. Parking is $38/day and my room key wasn't working to let me out which was weird and aggravating. Room was absolutely FREEZING (it was mid teens at night) like it needed insulation. I had to set the thermostat to 76 to have the rest of the room actually at 68-ish. The entire lobby area was absolutely freezing too, in no small part because the main entrance is a massive revolving door, and there are no doors between the lobby and the parking deck. Even the 5th floor was freezing. No key card needed to use the elevator marks this as a hotel that hasn't been renovated in a LONG time either. Hotel needs a remodel, new insulation, double pane glass windows, better HVAC system to be a better than adequate hotel on par with the typical Marriott. J.Ja

Yelp
Yes-ISH. A clear 2.5 star rep they're building, here. Let me explain...For me it was clean and cool, finally. But this is the Marriott Across from Lenox Marta and Mall. If you haven't been to Atl in the last 10 year, that's the 'hood once the mall closes. The nice JW Marriott is on the Same side of the street as Lenox Mall; but I digress. There are reviews I didn't see until I'd checked in that quite frankly DRAGGED this place. I'm sad to say, "yeah I can see that." A very inept young man worked the night desk. He allowed me to check into a room where a man still resided. He then sent me a key by the security guard (who knows as much abt his job as she does hers...She helped an unsatisfied customer while I waited to check in). But the key he sent her with was for the wrong room. I called from the hall glad at least I didn't walk in on someone, to find he wrote the wrong room number. It's midnight I'm exhausted from flying so this has been unnecessarily lengthy. The room is fine, I earned my Bonvoy points. There was one tea bag, spoiled cream, no bottled water (we had to ask) but the tiny balcony was nice, like neglected more than terrible. It's an older hotel. Had good towels. Outside of 3 tries to get my correct room, $14 shots of basics, me alm being given someone's car in valet, I guess I'd say catch it on sale and take yr chances. Maybe it was just another off night.

Yelp
Not a terrible hotel, but not that good either. I showed up around 9 PM to check in and they did not have my reservation. I gave them my driver's license, presented the emailed confirmation number, and even opened my laptop to show the website I used to book the reservation. After all of that, they still could not locate my reservation. At this point I'm starting to sweat because I over hear the other two front desk workers say the hotel is completely sold out. I'm told the search could take a while and was asked to hang at the bar area and wait for an update. After about 30 minutes, and no update, I walk back to the desk to find a new person trying to locate my reservation, which they still can't find. She asks to see my confirmation number and drivers license one more time. Finally, she's able to locate my reservation and confirm I have a room for the night, phew. Turns out the previous front desk workers were spelling my last name wrong! They were spelling my last name with a C instead of a K! The front desk worker then tells me that I spelled it wrong when I booked the room? Confused and exhausted, I grab my stuff and head to my room. As soon as I hit the bed I double checked all of my hotel booking info and, nope, I spelled my own last name correct (surprise surprise) and they had been misspelling it of the entire time! For my troubles I am offered two free continental breakfast and a room with a view of a dumpster and an old parking garage. The continental breakfast was not good and I didn't use the second free breakfast. I certainly wouldn't stay here again but in a pinch it will do the trick.

Yelp
The server forgot to inform they co-worker a current was waiting to be served, they don't have a water fountain so when I called the front desk they didn't have water in the fitness center, I asked them to turn on the fire pit. They said that they didnt have any propane. Don't waste your time here.

Yelp
Great central location. Easy in and out parking. Nice rooms with large TVs and plenty of space for work. Excellent elite status M club amenities. Love the 24/7 access and options available. When my business travels take me to Atlanta, I'd stay at this location again.

Yelp
Like others have said, this is probably a 2.5 star. The service for checking in and out was pretty much the only good thing here. The hotel lobby area is nice but the overall feel of the hotel is not so good. The parking is awful. The garage they use sucks and your access card only works on and off so if you are trying to get someone you may get trapped until they help you. The alarm for a building next door kept going off in the middle of the night and it kept me awake. I think this hotel is also a residence because the bottom floors had people being super loud and obnoxious at all hours as well. Look elsewhere for your stay.

Yelp
I do not recommend this hotel for meetings and events. Signage at the hotel is confusing and sloppily placed. Part of the "conference center" sits over top the parking deck and you will go over the river and through the woods to get to it. The parking situation is atrocious. The management team let people sit in the deck for over 2 hours waiting to get out after the arm broke. They were more concerned about collecting parking money than letting people go after sitting for so long. I've been to plenty of events and conferences in the area and have never experienced anything like that. In addition, few upgrades have been made to the hotel. If not for the signage, you would not think it was part of Marriott. There are plenty of other hotels in the area. Avoid this one.

Yelp
A tired but tolerable mid-priced hotel in the heart of Buckhead, the Marriott is sufficiently serviceable for a quick business trip, as long as you keep your expectations low. Rooms are comfortable but dated, with poorly designed bathrooms and faded carpeting. Access to the parking garage is confusing and the exit gate can be difficult to work -- make sure you pay your ticket at the kiosk inside the hotel before you try to leave. There's an underwhelming fitness center and outdoor pool, and a small restaurant/bar just off the lobby that could use a better selection of beer taps. Despite its shortcomings, I'll give the Marriott staff high marks for responsiveness. The first room I was given had a soaked carpet from a shower leak, but the desk clerk apologized and immediately relocated me. And you can't find a much better location for a hotel than this -- Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza are both right across the street, as is a MARTA station. Although with crime in Buckhead, I'd think twice about walking around much after dark. The Marriott Buckhead isn't a hotel I would necessarily rush to book again, but for the price it wasn't a bad option for a one-night stay in Atlanta.

Yelp
My fiancé, newborn, and I are traveling back to Nashville, TN from Myrtle Beach, SC and decided to make a stop in Atlanta to make the trip easier on the baby. We booked through Hotwire and were led to believe this place was a steal for the price and hotel rating! Getting to our FIRST room was confusing...and there wasn't much help or explanation. However once we got to it, it was...a sight. There were crumbs and trash in front of our door, hand and finger prints all over the mirrors, hair on the bed, Bobby pins on the floor and desk, crumbs and trash on the floor and tables, hair on the bathroom door frame, feminine products along with a hair and trash in our closet, and what looks like blood or snot on the wall. So we called and requested a new room. Our second room appears much cleaner however we comes to find that our room lacked a fridge. Which our dirty room had. After calling the front desk, we were told we should indeed have a fridge and that they were sorry our room didn't have one . They offered to move our rooms for a third time but our baby was already asleep. Honestly, I expected more out of the Buckhead area and their hotels. We are not impressed. Hotwire will definitely be hearing about this.

Yelp
Horrible service this is our second day here. The light in our room don't work called at 11:30am today 7/27/20. I called also to request to check the refrigerator. I have beverages there as well as chocolates and they are going to go bad. Also asked for 6 towels as we are coming in and out we have an event here from Chicago. We shower twice a day, I should t be explaining on here why I needed 6 towels, but the case is that ALEXIS (female) working the office, picked up the phone on 9/27/20 at 4:05pm when I called from the room, ALEXIS said why do you need 6 towels? How many people you have in the room? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I shouldn't have to explain how many towels I need. I have hair and my boyfriend and I both shower twice a day. This is Horrible service and I expect a manager response for this situation. The room is under STEVE WAZWAZ. Got back to the hotel at around 7:50pm again and asked to speak to the manager in charge, Blanca Guzman and all she could do and say was that they do ask how many people are in a room and that she was apologizing for the way her employee spoke to me on the phone. Nothing was done, no credit nothing. I will make sure that I tell everyone about this experience as they should not stay at a place like this and feel uncomfortable to request towels as per needed. We paid for a stay here and not at all that we feel welcomed or safe in this hotel. And the refrigerator is still NOT working. Note: we extended another night due to our event here from Chicago and the hotel nor management didn't come to the room to fix the refrigerator. 7/28/20

Yelp
Great location right cross the street of Lenox Square. Walking distance to Publix. Due to Covid there is no enough service crew though. Breakfast is great. $35 self-parking is pricey

Yelp
DO NOT TRUST THE VALET WORKERS. They seemed very nice at first and we liked them but then they messed with my dads property and tried to steal it, we caught them. Not exactly sure if it was all of them or one of them who stole. Very sad. Told the front desk and she didn't really do anything about it. Hate leaving reviews but felt this was necessary. Wouldn't trust staying here and wished the front desk/management tried to make it right. I'm a Marriott bonvoy member with multiple properties under my belt... you think they would've tried to make it right. Side note they were tipped very well.. we felt like they took advantage of us!! Rest of the staff was good but it's a bad look of you can't trust the workers :(

Yelp
I found the staff at this hotel To be exceptional. Chris in the converse he lounge; Violet and Paris in events. I was here for a conference and the event staff did a very nice job caring for our needs; thank you, and Charlotte. Proximity to Lenox Mall and particularly two great restaurants (Seven Lamps; True Food Kitchen) is very nice. I would stay here again.

Yelp
They have bed bugs!!! Do not come to this hotel!!!!!! It is so dirty and I also found a used soap bar in my shower along with used conditioner on the shower nozzle. Disgusting!!!

Yelp
Run if you know what's best for you. The first sign was mosquitoes in the lobby and elevator. We assumed the property was ok because the location was quiet. Marriott should have higher standards and this location does not represent what I expect from the brand. A suite with roaches on the night stand, walls, and doors was frightening and I was unable to enjoy my stay comfortably. The manager was nice.

H T.

Yelp
Room smell musty and moldy. Ask for some spray for the room and never received. Ask housekeeping staff for spay but they didn't understand what spray meant. Call the day before my stay for early check in, the guy I spoke to said no problem and advise a room will be held. Got to the hotel and was advise that there would be a $30 charge for early check in. The person I spoke to the day before never indicated there would be a charge. This hotel needs a serious remodel. At check in was advise where the elevators were and wondered around to find them. At no point did the front desk advise about any of the amenities of the hotel and where they are. Just what's you last name and your credit card. Would not say here again. During my last day of the stay on 11/17/22, The hotel had the water turned of at 9pm and was told it would be back on by 6am on 11/18/22. Needless to say the water was not turned back on as of when I checked out at 7am. My plan was to take a shower at 6am to leave for the airport. I got to the front desk at ask to receive a credit for the 11/17/22 stay due to not being able to use any water. I was advise that they will speak to the manager to see if anything would be provide to guest for the inconvenience of now water. As of 11/21/22, no credit or any communication from the hotel. Keep in mind I stay for a week at the hotel and this is the kind of service that was provided. Beware of staying at this hotel.

Yelp
I had a great stay at this hotel and I even had the Thanksgiving meal at Shula's 347 Grill a few years ago. The thanksgiving meal was delicious. The meal had turkey, soup, salad and pumpkin pie. It was difficult being not with family on a holiday but the meal definitely made me feel more at home. The service was friendly. I would definitely recommend Shula's 347 Grill and specifically for the Thanksgiving meal.

Yelp
I had an amazing stay here at the Marriott Buckhead (and it really made me fall in love with Atlanta)! (Note: I have to write this review while it's fresh in my mind) I had the opportunity to travel to Atlanta for a conference and this is the hotel the team got to stay in. Lucky us! At first, I thought, Marriott-- yes, of course- knowing the great reputation the brand has. Anyway, as soon as we pulled up to the hotel driveway in Buckhead, I was greeted. Already five stars upon first impression. After walking in, I headed to the lobby and was warmly told "Welcome to the Marriott!" I gave them my name for check in, and then the front desk clerk checked me in. I was given 2 keys (actually she asked how many I needed), plus my free WiFi code for being a Marriotts Rewards member. OK, this is where I was really impressed/pleased with their service. I checked into my room and was kind of tired after flying from California. So when I opened up my work laptop to log into WiFi, I clicked the wrong button and it said WiFI was $12.95/day and would be charged to my room account. I immediately was like.. "oh no, what a mistake I made." I called the front desk and Jeffrey picked up. He was so polite and professional and said he would credit my room. Anyway, 5 stars for amazing customer service. Also, the fruit-infused water in the lobby was nice. Plus the free cookies & brownies. When I checked out, I also saw the complimentary breakfast smoothies. Overall, amazing hotel & I wish I had the chance to stay longer! I want to return to Atlanta on vacation (not for work), and if I do I would definitely stay here again. A final plus-- the hotel is right across the street from this really nice mall.

Yelp
I don't usually take time to review, but after staying at this property for a few days for a corporate group meeting, I felt compelled to write a review in order to warn future guests. This property is not up to the usual high standards that Marriott properties usually maintain. At first, I didn't mind the long delay in getting my room after checking in, but when all of my colleagues were given a room, then it bothered me since I had to continue checking on the availability of my room. Finally, after a long delay, I was give a room on the far end of the hotel on the garden level. Usually, this would not be a problem, however the room was quite dark, the air was dank, and the fixtures were very warm. I asked the front desk for a different room, but was turned down due to "availability" It wasn't til the bathtub filled with dark water during a shower the next morning, and I discovered some black mold on the bathroom ceiling and a fungus growing on the top of the bathroom mirror, that I felt I needed to complain to our corporate meeting planner, who was successful in securing me a new room. To the credit of the hotel management, they were very apologetic, however, the new room I was given had its share of small issues that just were not up to usual Marriott standards. All, in all, my stay was very disappointing. I have included pictures of the big and little things that were substandard.

Yelp
I expected this Marriott to be nice as it was rated 4 Stars and in Buckhead. However, this was absolutely the worst stay I've ever experienced. The entire hotel wreaked of marijuana. The walls are covered in dirt. The rooms are super outdated and dirty. There was a layer of filth/film in the bath and mildew in the shower. The parking garage is not safe whatsoever. We ended up leaving the same night and just driving home. I'm incredibly disappointed in this hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Lins C.

Yelp
Hotel is fine..But was just assaulted by the "food and beverage" manager Edith. After speaking to the GM; I truly hope they do the right thing and remove an employee that would be so blatantly disrespectful directly to and literally in my face. I don't care what the reason may be. Ever. There were other guests witnessing this behavior and were appauled. This was absolutely inappropriate, unprofessional, classless and unacceptable. Period. I will be contacting a corporate manager to file a complaint as well.

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean and the staff was super nice. I loved the bar in the lobby and the prices are pretty reasonable. I also liked the location of this hotel which sits directly across from the mall. You can walk but there is a complimentary shuttle that can drive you if needed. Great hotel!

Yelp
On 05/15/23, I stayed at Atlanta Marriott Buckhead. Immediately after checking in I entered my room and noticed it was extremely hot. I went back to the lobby informing them of that and was advised that the ac was out earlier and the room should get cold soon. A couple hours later (10 pm) the room was still about 79 degrees in which I informed the front desk staff that the air was not working they said yes the ac has been out in several rooms all day which is why we set up rooms at another hotel for you to go to free of charge in which I was directed to AC Hotel Marriott. I packed my things and went back to the lobby and asked again if I needed anything or if needed to do anything. I was advised to go to the other hotel and check in since they have already contacted them in advance. After arriving at AC Hotel I was advised that the room was not being paid for and that the hotel should've given me a walk letter stating that the room would be paid and that the parking I paid for at Atlanta Marriott Buckhead was not being paid for or transferred from the other Marriott. Long story short I was not able to get into another hotel until about 12 and having several holds and charges on my account from Atlanta Marriott Buckhead. While taking my things to my new room at AC hotel Marriott I noticed several white individuals from the same Atlanta Marriott Buckhead and they informed me that the hotel gave them walking letters and paid for their rooms. Atlanta Marriott Buckhead displays poor and shady business practices that severely physically and financially impacted my stay.

Marsha F.

Yelp
As an Elite member, I was disappointed and horrified at the service and treatment of the guest by the hotel bar manager Edith and her crony waitress (that had given a generous tip, might I add). Trying to double charge your guest at the bar is totally unsatisfactory. But what was more horrifying was Edith's belligerent and unprofessional behavior. I hope Skip resolves this staff issue soon before more patrons are scammed by these two crooks.

Yelp
I attended a conference at the Marriott Buckhead and overall, I thought it was a pretty solid hotel. It's not a fancy luxury hotel, but it's pretty nice. It underwent some major renovations recently so now it looks great. The conference I attended took place in some conference rooms on the 4th floor. Marriott catered the event which included an open bar and an assortment of foods. The foods were served buffet-style and included: Asian cabbage salad with water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, and Mandarin oranges Sloppy joe sliders and other sliders Pork loin and roast turkey with a bevy of accompaniments A variety of pastas including chicken and spinach ravioli Dessert bar featuring cakes, custards, pastries, cookies, and mini-parfaits The food was surprisingly decent. I especially enjoyed the chicken and spinach ravioli and the pork loin. Most of the food stations were manned by a server, e.g. the pork and turkey station had a server who cut the slices for you. The pork loin was delicious and I couldn't get enough of the horseradish that came with. The bartender and servers were all friendly, polite, and professional. An events team brought in a DJ and games such as foosball tables, mini-basketball shoot-out goals, and Nintendo Wiis. There was also a professional photographer on-hand along with a photoshoot backdrop. The hotel rooms were clean and up-to-date. Standing showers with glass doors, separate almost-walk-in closets, office desk, flatscreen TV, etc. The only thing missing from the standard room was a refrigerator. Internet was provided by iBANH at a rate of $12.95 per 24 hours, which could be charged to a credit card or billed to the room. Expensive, but that's how Internet at nice hotels work. It's a rip-off. The hotel isn't a high-rise and the views aren't that great. If you aren't facing an adjacent building, you're looking across the street at Lenox Square Mall. The skyline around Peachtree St. and Lenox Rd. is nice, but only a certain quadrant of the hotel gets that view. Speaking of Lenox Square, the hotel is located directly across the street from the mall, so it's very convenient if you want to visit. Lenox Square is my favorite mall in Atlanta. Since the hotel is close to Lenox Square, it's also close to the Lenox MARTA station if you ever feel the need to use public transit. Convenient for getting to Downtown. I had to use the valet service a few times and each time, the valet guys were prompt and courteous. Shula's 347 Grill is located inside this Marriott hotel and if you eat at Shula's, valet is complimentary.

Yelp
I've been waiting THREE HOURS to check in. I am livid. This is inexcusable. The local time is 6PM. I think these corporations are purposely under staffed. Room service was a over 2 hour wait...and the rooms are outdated and feel grimy .

Yelp
Come on Marriott you can do better, the shower curtains had mold on it. Unacceptable. They also had a very limited room service menu that ended at 11pm that's certainly not a late night menu. They didn't even offer complimentary bottles of water.

How would you like me to contact you Nancy? Is there a direct line or email. I'm not going to waste additional time waiting on hold to get hung up on again.

After Delta cancelled our group flight on March 18, 2022, we went to Atlanta Marriott at Buckhead for our students and chaperones. The front desk was very accommodating well past midnight to process the many other new guests frustrated by Delta's cancellations. They handled a belligerent woman with calm and firmness while also simultaneously assisting several other customers. The security guard, valet, and late night restaurant staff (Justin) were all exceptionally kind to us as we dragged ourselves in. Our rooms were good, and we slept well. In the morning, our group of fifteen went to breakfast, and Mike (manager), Ketty, Ethiopia, and Driss (all servers) were absolutely perfect. They helped with Starbucks orders, kept waters coffees and juice refilled, maintained all the hot plates, stayed stocked on cereal and other bread items, and warmly and easily helped out when another customer (also from a cancelled flight!) had their child accidentally spill cereal milk on the seat and floor. When they heard about our problems, they helped us in every possible way. It was really wonderful to meet these folks after such a difficult night and early morning. They reassured us that the next part of our travels would be much better, and because of their support, I do think things are looking up for us. If anything, stay here because the staff will help you and improve your life, too.

Yelp
This review is about my experience of this hotel being our venue for a 3 day indian wedding. This is long overdue - I got married back in March 2014 and thought I had written a review at the time but I just realized that's not the case. First, Sonia Hardy was our wedding/event coordinator and she was absolutely incredible! I am a type A, detail oriented person that is really quick in responding to emails and phone calls and Sonia is the exact same way so I immediately LOVED her! From the beginning, with the initial inquiry for availability for our wedding, she got back to me so fast and I never had a communication issue with her. Sonia and hotel were both very accommodating for everything we needed and helped us plan every little detail to make sure the wedding went off without a hitch. At our final meeting, one month before the wedding, she even asked me what the most important thing to me for the wedding and I told her that i want it to be on time - if anyone knows indian people, being on time is near impossible lol. Sonia made sure everything was on time and the whole wedding weekend went off perfectly. During the venue search, I contacted so many hotels; half of them never bothered to call me back but out of everyone, Sonia was the best with communication. I highly recommend using this hotel as a wedding venue. The location is fantastic - right across the street from lenox square mall, easy to get to via MARTA, and the staff is very nice.

Yelp
Terrible hotel! People at the front desk are just terrible and not helpful at all. Hotel accommodations are very average but I won't be back just because of their service

Yelp
Great service, clean rooms, extra friendly and helpful staff, perfect location (near lots of shopping and restaurants and the Lenox mall) and easy access to other parts of ATL. This was a perfect choice for us. They offer complimentary granola bars and water near the front desk daily and also make sweet tea, smoothies and all types of flavored water in the mornings. The parking was easily accessible and the rooms were tidy and good size. We will def come back here if we are in ATL again.

Yelp
I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past 10 years. There is dumpster and construction noise on the pool side. There is parking lot noise on the other side. You pick which one you will wake up to... The doors slam and toilets are noisy. I am not sure what has happened here. Unfortunately the hotel is having staffing issues. My room request was not honored. I called three different days for that... I had requested feather free and was told that it was done. It was not. I had trouble even getting no feather pillows. There was no manager to speak with. I still like this property in general but something is not right lately... I would ask to speak with a manager and get there name. Do not leave requests with anyone who answers the phone at this hotel. You will be disappointed. If you are a light sleeper, you may have problems here... They have a basic breakfast and garage parking. The rooms are dated. The bedding is dated. The hotel needs to be remodeled or knocked down... Be sure to stay here only when the price is reasonable.

Yelp
This is the worst stay I have ever had. We are here are a baseball tournament with 7 other families. We stayed here last year so that is why we booked here again. There was definite profiling going on as certain people were treated certain ways and could do certain things. The hotel was dirty, rooms not up to standards, broken gym equipment. We were told different things by different employees. The only good thing about the hotel was the breakfast staff. God bless them Will never stay here again!!

Yelp
The worse experience. This place should be shut down. Rooms need a major upgrade and renovations as everything is outdated. Staff was rude as we needed a later checkout they were not accommodating. Save your money and find something worth the price.

Yelp
Thee most ridiculous display of attempted customer service I have ever experienced at a Marriott. I have been a loyal Marriott Member for about 10 years and never in my life have I seen such foolishness from this brand. I stayed at Atlanta Conference Center Marriott from October 15 - 18, 2021. This hotel allows mobile keys (not all Marriott properties are equipped for this) so I was able to check in through the Marriott Bonvoy app, was given a mobile key, contacted the front desk through the chat feature and was able to bypass checking in at the front desk which is the WHOLE PURPOSE of the app. Fast forward to the day of check out. I had requested late check out so I wouldn't be rushed and could telework in peace. I get 2 calls in the morning from the front desk asking me to come down to the front desk because they needed to swipe my card because they forgot to do it upon check in. A very odd request because how do you give a guest a mobile key without their being a card on file??!! You can not be given a mobile key unless a card is registered on the app, which I did. I tell them I will get down there as soon as I can (like I said above, I'm teleworking). Valerie, Front Desk representative, offers for me to come down for a complimentary breakfast that ends at 10am, but it was 9:40 am at the time which only gave me 20 minutes to hurry up and put on my clothes, and rush down there, order and eat it. Again, another inconvenience. Needless to say, I passed on that. A couple hours later, I get down to the front desk, only to have to wait several minutes to be served while Valerie talks on the phone to a customer. When we finally get to talking, at least 3 times in less than 10 mins Valerie stops the conversation to pick up the phone and talk extensively to other customers. It was very weird, rude and clownish. I finally get to explain my confusion trying to understand how I've checked in via the Marriott Bonvoy app for several years and received mobile keys and never had to double back to the front desk. And if they needed a card to swipe, why not ask on the check in day?! I explain that this is a procedural problem for the hotel, not the customer's. And I had been inconvenienced and presented with a piss poor attempt at customer service wrapped up in a package of a breakfast I would have had to hurry up and enjoy, which further inconvenienced me. Valerie said she could give me extra points and she said she didn't know how many, as she just put a code into the database. Again, didn't make any sense. I spoke with a manager named Charlotte, who explained that she could give me 2,000 extra points for my inconvenience. Ask me if I've seen the extra points on my account yet? It has been a week since I checked out. I've never had to write a negative review for a Marriott property. I would never stay here again. There's 1 thing for certain and 2 things for sure, they haven't heard the last from me.

Yelp
I checked into the Atlanta Marriott Buckhead on 9/2 about 11:00 PM because my flight had a six hour delay. I was not pleased with the room quality or standards. I just checked in tonight in Room 231 . There are some issues that I am very concerned about. 1. The water in bathroom sink does not turn off. 2. The tub does not drain has sitting water. 3. Large stain on carpet near window center of floor. 4. Desk lamp does not work 5. The ice machine did not have any ice in it. 6. The room door is cracked as if someone tried to break-in ... 7. One one light works at the bathroom sink vanity . The wifi password did not work and I was never given information or help to make it work. am very disappointed in my entire experience and it has taken away from my first visit to Atlanta. I came here for a event. There is also a big giant stain in the carpet that does not look clean and so many things don't work especially lights but, the larger issue is the restroom. The ice machine with no ice . They moved my room but, this is unacceptable to have a room like this on my first night in Atlanta. I was moved to another room 542 but, the refrigerator did not work in that room. This seems to be a major issue because I should have read the reviews prior to booking. I spoke to your Front Desk Manager Francis who said Ron Adams, GM was unavailable and second in charge was unavailable. Francis did offer me a late checkout and a ride to the airport which was generous but, even on my Flight home back to California this bad experience was. on my mind. He also offered a breakfast which we could not enjoy. At breakfast all your servers were masks and I understand an optional mask policy but, at the buffet people should sanitize their hands and be wearing a mask while serving food which was not and did not happen. I know I am from California where things and stricter, but this is all common sense about health and safety. This has to be the worst Marriott experience I have ever had. Francis said he was unable to compensate my stay because I booked third party well in the future I will not be booking Marriott by any party based on my Atlanta experience

Yelp
Great staff, clean, with outstanding service. We will definitely return. Easy walk to the Lenox Square Mall.

Yelp
The nightstand is moldy....I can't imagine what is lurking in the carpet. Won't be staying at any Marriott again...gross

Yelp
I have been holding off posting this review for over a month in the hopes that Marriott would make it right with me...but unfortunately that has not been the case. I had a meeting at the Marriott Buckhead Convention center in Atlanta for about 45 people back in mid-January. Other than the meeting planner, Alysa Smith (she was great!), my experience with this hotel was poor. Without going into detail (which I have on many occasions via many customer service routes with Marriott), it was probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a hotel. The staff (besides Alysa) was eager to ask me how I was doing ALL the time, but when I needed something or had a question/concern, I was passed off or given an excuse. The two biggest problems (and there were many) were that they never froze my breastmilk (working moms who are nursing know this is a big problem) even though I requested multiple times; and they never sent boxes that were UPS labeled and postage paid to a location where I was having my next meeting and that meeting was compromised. You'd think mentioning this to the hotel, and a week later a call to the customer service center would have sufficed. Nope, since then, I have emailed several times the front desk manager at the Marriott Buckhead Atlanta, emailed the customer service email for Marriott twice, called Marriott customer service 3 times, and direct messaged them on Twitter multiple times. NO ONE HAS REACHED OUT TO ME! I find this absolutely ridiculous. I never wanted to post this review, because that's not my style, but I need this to be addressed and this was the only way I knew left to give the issue some attention.

Yelp
I have stayed at this property multiple times (last in Feb) and had a great experience. I booked 3 nights at the hotel. I tried to call the property, but all extensions go to the main reservations number. Marriott Executive Office could not get through to the hotel. When I arrived, they said they didn't take direct calls due to Covid and short staffing. The front desk seemed to have plenty of time to answer a call during my stay as there were hardly any guests. I could not get an update on the property's Covid policies, what was open, and any other pertinent information. Nothing on their web site or an extension with updates. When I arrived, I parked in the garage as I have done in the past. All doors to the hotel were padlocked! I drove back to the front of the hotel and was told I should have checked in before parking. I asked how hard it would be to have signs? The GM was always "busy" when I asked for him. With only a handful of guests, it is no surprise that the property is in disarray. No communication with guests. The worst part was security talking about a death in a room across the hall. I overheard them in the hall when headed to the bathroom in my room. The bright spot was the front desk agent, Francis, who could not have been friendlier and helpful. That was my last stay at this property.

Yelp
Everything a hotel should be. Fast helpful staff. Clean comfortable quiet room. Great shower. Things to drink and nibble on in the lobby. I usually find plenty to complain about but not a single thing here. Great stay

Yelp
Absolute worst!! I have never seen a more unprofessional kitchen staff in my life! After paying my bar tab I signed the receipt and my card was returned. Afterwards EDITH came out, accused me of putting a line for a signature (which may look like a line to her, but is MY signature). She proceeded to AGGRESSIVELY ask for my room number and when I refused she told me to " Get the fxxx out of MY hotel." I went to get the number to the manager, Skip, when she again yelled profanities at me telling me that she had Skip on speed dial. She then physically assaulted my wife and I told security to remove us and called the police. After all of this I went to my room and my key card wasn't working. After getting 3 new keys and still not working, they sent someone up to see what the problem was. Apparently the battery on the door was dead, so we had to sit on the floor in the hallway while they tried to get the door open. By now it's 3am, we had a 7am flight and all of our luggage and ID were in the room. As a titanium elite member with well over 100 night stays this year alone, to be treated in such a disrespectful manner by kitchen staff is unacceptable!

Yelp
First off no matter what day or time of day they take forever to answer the phone. Our first room had hair in bathroom floor and sheets were dirty so changed rooms no issues there. The staff wasn't very friendly but not rude. Now the dining room employees were extremely nice and accommodating. My issue is they over charged our credit card more than $200 and we've spoken several times to accounting and managers promising a refund and still 2 weeks later nothing. I do not recommend this hotel, plus photos are nothing like the hotel, the hotel is very out dated. Will not stay here again.

Yelp
This hotel has an excellent location but it is a very dated and dirty hotel. The images and narrative presented on line misrepresent this property. We had a reservation for seven nights but switched to a greatly superior hotel after two nights. Marriott is using property as a cash cow; they certainly have not invested in it.

Yelp
We stayed here for a cheer competition. Check in was ok. The staff was friendly and they were able to get our two rooms in close proximity to each other. The hotel was a bit run down. The rooms were not spacious and the beds were full size, not queen. The bathrooms were tiny but clean. The mini fridge was frozen and not working at all but it eventually defrosted at some time over the course of the stay. They have a restaurant which the food was ok, but a little pricey. They quickly got overwhelmed on Saturday night and stopped taking orders at around 8:30pm because they "had too many orders." We ended up ordering takeout from Cheesecake factory which was in the mall across the street in the mall. There are plenty of businesses around the area which is a plus. Our key cards kept deactivating and even the mobile app, which we used to unlock the room also, stopped working. After several attempts to fix the problem, we were offered access to their M lounge for the rest of the stay. It was nice and had seating and drinks/ snacks and coffee. Apparently there is a limit of the amount of guests you can have, which we didn't know as it was never communicated to us. We found that out the next morning when we tried to go get coffee and milk for the kids. The staff at the lounge informed us of the rules and quickly solved the issue. The bright spot of our trip was Tracy. What a lovely, helpful, and kind person! She made sure we had everything we needed and that the trip ended on a high note. She checked in on us and made sure the rest of our stay was a pleasant experience. She gave us a ticket to have breakfast at their breakfast room the next morning which was a nice gesture. We did go have breakfast but the food was not good. There were eggs, bacon and sausage, hash browns, grits, oatmeal, cereals and bagels/toast. The quality of the food was not great but the service was good. The waitress, Ethiopia, was kind and helpful. She made sure we had water, coffee, and juice. Anything that ran out, she quickly refilled. Would not stay here again. I didn't feel like it was a good value for the price and it was too far from our venue to consider again.
