I was really excited to have Atlanta Pizza Truck cater my wedding, but unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. They arrived late, which caused some stress for our timeline, and didn’t serve the pizza we had originally agreed upon. We had discussed specific flavors and options ahead of time, but when the pizza was served, it didn’t match what we had planned. The only reason I discovered this was one of my guests mentioned to me that they were not serving one of the options on the menu.
While the pizzas themselves were decent in quality, the overall experience was disappointing, especially given that this was a special occasion. Communication leading up to the event could have been better, and I wish they had honored the original order.
Another thing that was very stressful is I owed a balance of $146 which I understand needed to be paid and was planning to take care of, Sophia called to inform that unless the balance was going to be paid they would not serve food, which also I feel like could have been handled better versus stressing me the bride out as I am getting my makeup done.
I also had the blue mobile oven reserved and was told that was unable to be accommodated due to it getting damaged which I was very understanding of but felt the same grace and patience was not shown when threatening to not serve if the $146 balance was not paid immediately. When they were hours late in arriving, no kind of apology was given by Sophia for the disruption this caused to our cocktail hour appetizers or when we informed the staff that was there that our pizza selections were wrong, no kind of follow up was done to apology.
I understand that things can sometimes go wrong, but this was a bit too much for a day where everything else went smoothly. I’d recommend considering these factors before booking if you have very specific requests or timing needs.
