Frank - was detailed with giving my wife and I a quick lesson on riding e bikes! Gave us a map of a recommended area State Park to go to, as well as the trails! Kind and sociable staff who are attentive to detail. They made sure our helmets were snug, our seats were at the perfect height, that we had a map of the area, were familiar with the laws, and even suggested some nice scenic spots. Bikes were good quality and well-maintained.

One of the best places I’ve ever rented bikes. Easy check-in procedure and the staff were super friendly, knowledgeable on fitting the bike to your needs as well as suggestions on where to bike around Rehoboth and surrounding areas. The three speed cruisers were perfect for the flat terrain and very comfortable to ride, and they also provide free locks, helmets and baskets with the rentals. We will definitely rent bikes here again when we return to Rohoboth.

Friendly helpful service. Provided maps and directions to Cape Henlopen. Bikes were comfortable and in good condition. Helmets and locks are complimentary. A bag for your water and lunch are provided. Good value for your money. Really enjoyable way to start the day.

Always a good bike, always a great ride. Frank and the staff at Atlantic Cycles are terrific. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. I have my own bikes, but rather than bring them I'd rather rent from Atlantic Cycles. For less than the cost of a fancy meal you can ride a good, reliable bike for a few hours. Eat healthy, simply, and go ride a bike!

Rented a hybrid bike two different days for my adult daughter. As an avid cyclist, I pay attention to the quality of bikes and the customer service. The bike was a great price and new. It was outfitted well and my daughter had a great time. First day rental was good, but a little flat in customer service, but the second day was awesome. The guys who helped us on the second day were excited, experienced and fun to talk to. We have rented from here before in the past and highly recommend these folks. Overall they know their stuff, provide high quality bikes and are very focused on providing a quality and fun service.

Great place that my mom and I have now visited twice, had great experiences both times. This past week we rented "comfort bikes" for half a day; we are not hardcore bikers so Cole, the very helpful and friendly employee working there, gave us guidance on which bikes to get-- no feeling of being pressured to buy the more expensive option or anything like that, genuinely were recommended a good choice. They also provided us with a map of where we could bike to, including info about where was better for beginners, different types of paths, etc. Overall, great experience and great service. Highly recommend!

Staff is excellent and the multi day rental prices are super affordable.

Was traveling and needed a reasonably priced road bike rental for a day ride. These guys are incredible! So knowledgeable, down to earth, and just good humans. They set me up last minute with a super nice cannondale, and even threw in some bottles and a helmet for the price of the rental! $60 for the day while most people will charge double that. Highly recommend these guys!

What a great experience at Atlantic Cycles! They greeted us right away and we talked about the surrey limo. They offered us all the amenities to support our dog (small 14 lbs) in the front seat and a baby in the back as well as 4 adults. It was $35 for the hour which was just enough to get a nice ride around the area. Surprisingly our dog really enjoyed the ride and wasn't scared at all. The baby actually wore his helmut and fell asleep for most of the ride; so it must have been pretty relaxing! Highly recommend the experience; it was great fun!Credit cards accepted and the entire experience was quick and easy! Love it! #dogfriendly #babyfriendly

The staff is sooooo fucking awesome, specially Cole and the girl with freckles () and biking around Reho is, in my opinion, the best way to see the city and exercise at the same time!

Phillip helped us from beginning to end and ensured our 2 year old was safe, happy, and comfortable! We had a great 30 mile trek!Thanks for the extended stay! Watch for detours

We went here in Feb 2016, rented 4 bikes and 1 tandem. The person explained nicely the route and give us the cycles and gears. He helped to adjust all brakes, seats etc to correct positions. Would have given a 4star till here because it was a usual good experience. Then, in middle of the trail we found the route closed due to some storm a few days back at 5.30 pm. We were in middle of almost nowhere with the sun setting down, tired, no water and food. The only choice we had was to back track the whole thing which was 2.5 hours, seemed impossible. The shop closes at 6pm, so we called him.about the situation. He started apologizing about not informing us on the route closure :). We asked him for help on how to get out of the situation. He asked us to drive to a nearby village and their owner/manager collected our bikes at that nearby village. He also dropped 6 of us back to the original location around 7.45 ish pm sometime. I unfortunately don't remember the names of both the persons, nevertheless very nice experience. Nice people.

THIS is THE place to go in rehoboth if you ever wanted to rent a bike. We stopped by at 4pm, the guy took down my bf's name and number. He came back right away with a bike that perfectly fit me(5'4), and my bf(6'3), For two cruisers, we only paid $20. We had the bike for 3 hours. The service was super fast. No credit card/picture ID needed. I've never been happier with any service than this. Will definitely come back here!!

We rent bikes for our week in Rehoboth each year from Atlantic Cycles. Bikes are in good condition and reasonably priced and the owner and staff are wonderful- great customer service and great experience! See you next year :)

Went here over the summer to rent a bike for the week. Very nice customer service, made sure I got the right bike for the activities we were getting into (ended up getting a hybrid) and made sure I had updated lights. Easy return made it a great end of the week.

I am very disappointed in this place. Went there today to rent bikes and the kid in the front said we only have one brochure. In front of us he changed the rates to $10 and hour. He said "they raised the rates". Meanwhile behind us a bunch of people came up behind us asking about rates. He told them to wait a sec. I said thanks we will come back and I asked him if he want his brochure back and he said no. I thought that was weird because if you only had one why wouldn't you save it and use it for your next customer. Well to make a long story short we decided to go to Bob's bike rental. Which is right down the street. Much nicer. Had plenty of brochures and they were cheaper. Next time I stop by Rehoboth beach we will only shop at Bob's for bike rental.

My friend and I recently rented bikes (Fuji Absolutes, super bikes!) this past weekend. We rode them from Rehoboth to Bethany, about 14 miles each way. On the way back, still in Bethany, I had a flat tire. I called Atlantic to let them know and within 20 minutes Frank came to rescue us with a choice of an air conditioned ride back or a wheel replacement - we took the replacement so we could continue our ride and he left us each with a chilled bottle of water. We were back on the rode in a flash - amazing bikes, awesome service and a friendly staff - doesn't get much better than that! Thank you Atlantic Cycles for making our Rehoboth Beach weekend a lot of fun and allowing us to burn some calories to enjoy some Fisher's popcorn and Thrashers French fries! Oh, and a slice of Grotto pizza, of course!

Grade A service. Bikes are newer and well maintained. Very knowledgeable about the terrain...Recommended a trail route that took us from Rehoboth to Lewes...beautiful...have done it 5 times since we rented from him two years ago. I refer many friends to him and whenever we have visitors, we take them on a bike tour using bikes we rent from them. As for the one reviewer who commented about his experience, giving it ONE STAR...I doubt it went down ENTIRELY like you described...he probably was warning you that you cannot ride your bikes on the beach, thats it and you took it as a personal attack. Definitely use this store if you need to rent bikes...PRICES ARE GREAT, TOO.

Great place to rent bikes to venture around the town. We had a big group of friends and rented out 2 tandems and a few extra bikes. The person working was very knowledgeable and patient with us as we got our bikes and adjusted seats etc. He gave great suggestions on where to go and we were pleased with the entire experience.

Kindest, most helpful bike crew on the beach. We rent here every summer and couldn't recommend them highly enough.

There are a few bike rental shops in Rehoboth, and I'm not sure they are really that different. The guys Atlantic Cycles, though, are friendly and helpful, so you might as well give them your business. We made a big improvement to our vacation by renting a double-wide jogging stroller; my older daughter is perfectly capable of long walks, but she can be SO SLOW. The guys at the shop stored our single stroller for us, and were good about accommodating a change in our plans.

Excellent service with great selection and reasonable pricing, $20/bike/day. The trail from Rehoboth to Lewes and back are extremely beautiful and pleasant, good easy 20 miles round trip. Make sure you bring water and put on sunblock - we had a great time, a family of 4 with 2 teenagers but did come back with sun burn as we did not expect the sun to be this strong.

We had the best experience with Atlantic Cycles. Arrived on a spring-break week. Great selection of bikes, reasonable prices. Despite being busy, the guy running the shop spent a great deal of time with us, making sure my daughter got a bike that fit her and answering my questions about bike routes through town. I was concerned we might not get back in time (they close at 5 in the off season), and he assured me it wasn't a problem, he'd stay open until we got back. Turned out, we got back at 4, so that wasn't a problem. But then, a near-disaster-- I couldn't find my keys. He offered to let us to give us back the bikes, at no extra charge, to retrace our route to find the keys, and sad he would keep the shop open until we got back. Luckily, we found the keys locked in our car. But, what great service -- we will be back. And we happily recommend this place to all

I rented three bikes for my husband, daughter and me for a half day. First, the prices for rentals were affordable (cheaper than the Bikes to Go) and when we got there the attendant quickly found the right bikes for each of us. My 8 yr old daughter wasn't the strongest rider and the attendant quickly made sure that they got her a bike she was comfortable with. They didn't require ids and accepted credit cards. We will definitely be using them on our next trip.

We rented bikes for a day. Atlantic gave us maps and laid out the main trails in the area and their mileages. He strongly suggested helmets but we turned down the offer but looking back, we should have taken them. I think we paid 16 each for the day. We rented after labor day so this option was not the closest rental to our hotel however they had the latest opening hours to return the bikes. Something to pay attention to where you choose to rent!

What a great bike shop! They measured my kids for bikes, and then helped me get them into my truck. So friendly and hassle free. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Great service, fair prices, friendly and professional service, what else can you ask for? The gentleman who helped us picked out two bikes that fit perfectly on the first try. While I can't promise this will happen to you, we were given a day for free, we rented for four days, on a Sunday evening, and were told we could bring back on Friday morning. The bikes were in great shape, looked new to me. We were provided maps with the two most common bike trails, locks, and lights for riding at night.

Been using this business since they opened. He's great with a customer oriented attitude...has helped me with my own bike or sent me to a reputable shop when he didn't have the parts ....love the dog too

Rented a limo bike from here the other day. The bikes seemed to all be in very good shape. The guy working was very friendly as was his dog who was just chilling out in the front. I highly recommend Atlantic Cycles.

Great bike shop! My wife and I were in Rehoboth the week before Memorial day weekend. Several rental shops were closed or had short hours. Frank had his store open from 7AM to 7 PM and had better prices than anyplace else that I saw. Atlantic has good quality bikes that are expertly tuned, and the rental includes all the accessories that you might need, even lights! I was also looking for some body surfing fins to rent but couldn't find any. While we were out riding bikes Frank called around, borrowed some fins from a friend, and let me use them for free. Very good service. Frank obviously enjoys what he does, is good at it, and that naturally creates repeat business. Lots of positive karma at Atlantic cycles.

I rented a bike (hybrid) from Atlantic Cycles in Rehoboth last week for four days. I couldn't have been happier with the bike or the service. Frank, the owner, was really helpful.

I've rented bikes at other places in Rehoboth over the years and this morning was my first time renting with Atlantic Cycles. I wanted to get an early start and the owner was there to greet me at 6:50. I rented a hybrid that was in excellent condition complete with computer and bag. The bike was setup perfectly to match my height and I was out the door riding in a matter of minutes. The service was unmatched. This will be the only place I rent from going forward.

The best bike rentals in Rehoboth. Bikes were in excellent shape - maybe only 1-2 years old at the most. The kid working there took the time to size up our son for his bike and thoroughly explained how the bike worked, the hours we could ride on the boardwalk and he even gave us a map of several local bike trails. Note: We originally went to Bob's Rentals but the bikes were very old and had rust. Yes, you do get what you pay for. Thanks Atlantic Cycles.

Stopped in to rent a couple mountain bikes. Wanted to know their opinion on riding on the beach at the state park south of Dewey. Owner comes around the corner, without having seen or spoken to us before, and says, without even asking us where we were going to ride, "We're not going to rent to you if you're going to ride on the beach." Now, I've rented bikes in South and North Carolina where it's perfectly normal to ride on the beach, so I'm unfamiliar with the concept of "no riding on the beach". It would have been helpful for him to ask us if we'd been here before and politely tell us that riding on the beach (only within Rehoboth Beach borders, mind you) isn't allowed. As soon as he said that, I left. I do not want to spend my money at a place where the owner is reactionary and just plain rude.

The guys were nice enough when we rented a bike for my daughter. Unfortunately, while riding back from the beach the gears broke and she went sailing into a bench. Luckily she was just bruised. When we brought it back they were non plussed. Only took off one day of rental. I'm looking elsewhere next time when we are at Rehobeth.

I brought in a group of about seven people just before closing on a busy summer evening in August 2009. The owner of the shop -- I'm sorry I don't remember his name -- could not have been more accomodating, despite the fact that his summer help hadn't bothered to show up for work that day. In an orderly fashion he fitted us for bikes, helmets, and individual payment. We each got great bikes (hybrids all around, though they also had enticing road bikes) plus helmets, locks, and lights for just $70 for the whole week. It really made our trip to have such great transit to the beach. The ride to both the Rehoboth and Dewey shores was only about 20 minutes from our house just past the main Rehoboth Ave drag. We returned the bikes equally as quickly and hassle-free. Forget those lame beach cruisers -- if you're going to do any kind of biking on the Delaware shore, and there's plenty with the state park and neighboring beaches and abundant tennis courts, stick with Atlantic Cycles.

Great bike rental shop. We rented some road bikes for a century ride and the service was excellent. Highly recommend.

They had reasonably new bikes in good condition, recommended a good trail route in the area, and the price was very reasonable. I'd go back if I'm in the area again.

We rented as a last minute idea on whim. Met with Lou who claims he is 81 but look about 70. Couldnt have been more pleased with the customer service and quality of the bike. Lou even gave us directions to the new bike trail at Gordon's pond. Absolutely fantastic experience all around. will be back again.
