Atlantic Grill’s Upper East Side Location Closes After 20 Years | Eater NY

"Operating for about 20 years and seating more than 200, the Upper East Side outpost at 1341 Third Avenue (between East 76th and 77th streets) has permanently closed after staff said Lenox Hill Hospital's anticipated expansion may take over the property; Northwell Health has been negotiating to buy the residential and retail properties on that block for roughly $300 million, though the sale is not yet final according to Department of Finance records and Northwell. Part of the BR Guest hospitality group, the restaurant was notoriously hard to get into when it debuted in 1998 and was known for its raw bar, straightforward grilled-fish entrees and an extensive wine-by-the-glass list; while it has lost some of its initial hip sheen, it remained a neighborhood crowd-pleaser. It was one of several restaurants originally opened by restaurateur Stephen Hanson (who first opened the UES outpost in 1998) that have since closed or face uncertain futures, though the Lincoln Center Atlantic Grill remains open." - Kayla Kumari Upadhyaya

One of my favorite spots in LA. The food is always good and beer is always cold

Foods was good. Only one waitress she was good, but just had to wait for a while as she was tending to busy tables. Had the Camaron combo was good, friends had enchiladas they said they were ok, and another plate is steak pickado, and was good. The vibe is ok, at some point músicos will drop in, kinda of annoying when they keep asking to play songs, one group had a speaker and was very loud. So be prepared on the weekends cuz that's when they come in. Other than that it was ok., i hadn't been there since I was a kid. Not sure if I'll go back ..

One of my Favorite places to go after work. Wether it's for getting some dinner or grabbing a drink, this is the spot. Customer Service is on point also with the food. The food is served fresh, hot and ready to eat, you definitely get your money's worth. I will recommend to others and will be a regular here.

Went to eat there, food was average, prices are high. They were playing music videos then all of a sudden the loudest banging drum started smashing everyone's ear drum and the atmosphere turned rotten, i asked the owner why on earth would you let them make this unacceptable noise, other patrons walked out, never again, horrible place. I felt bad for the waitress.

I don't like the renovation the place inside lost its charm it have. Plus its now more expensive then ever. Lastly put on air conditioner it's extremely humid inside especially right now doing the summer.
