Atlas Brew Works & Andy's Pizza Carlyle Crossing Alexandria

We recently ordered the Whole Buffalo Crispy Chicken Pizza from this place and it was absolutely delicious! The pizza was full of flavor — crispy chicken, just the right amount of buffalo sauce, and we even added some Caesar dressing on top, which made it even better. The restaurant itself was really nice and had a great vibe. The only small downside was that the music was a bit too loud, which made it hard to have a conversation. But honestly, aside from that, everything else was amazing — from the food to the service. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Pizza: A very well developed dough fired to perfection. I had to stop myself after two slices but I will be back for more. The Buratta slice was excellent but even the simpler mushroom and caramelized onion slice was delicious. They manage a very nice balance of adequately (lightly) salted dough and slightly under salted toppings. Beer: I was expecting more expressive beers, more depth, more funk, and more flavor. All beers were good, somehow in style, and quite frankly enjoyable, but ask me tomorrow and I couldn't describe the flavor profile. All in all a solid five star when you go with family, friends, or colleagues, but if I would go by myself it would be a 4 stars

Awesome bar/pizza joint with lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and plenty of beer/cider/liquor/wine options. Tons of tv’s playing sports games as well as a small arcade. Ordering is through the barcode on your table. Very quick service. Some 2 hour street parking but I recommend parking in the garage if you plan to stay longer (to avoid being towed). Everything about this place is perfect, can’t wait to be back!

A fun sports bar and restaurant combo. The pepperoni special includes hot (spicy) honey and was absolutely incredible. The silent neighbor beer was great as well.

I love Andys pizza! Top ten in the world for sure. I prefer the Alexandria location over this one next to the ball park. Pizza had a little too much sauce this time but was still amazing. If you like pizza I think you'll love Andys pizza!

I took my husband here for his birthfay. We had such an amazing time here. The pizza was phenomenal, we got the pepperoni with caramelized onion and every slice had so much flavor. It was a bit pricey but the pizza was HUGE and the brewery choice was spectacular as well. It is our new favorite spot. We definitely will come back for the happy hour deal of two pizza slices for 12 dollars.

WEBA recently hosted a business event at Atlas, and it was a fantastic experience. In addition to an excellent selection of wine and beer, their menu offers a variety of refreshing cocktails and mocktails to choose from. Andy’s pizza was a standout, absolutely delicious! The service was phenomenal: friendly, attentive, and a pleasure to work with. Atlas is an excellent choice for office parties, networking events, happy hours, and family get together!

Andy’s is our favorite pizza in the DMV but unfortunately we’ve always been disappointed with quality at this location. We’ve ordered numerous times and our pizzas from this location never had reasonable amount of cheese. The pizzas were dough and red sauce. I’ve called into the staff to express the disappointment with our purchase and the manager never called back. Photos are from two separate orders.

Can't go wrong with Andy's Pizzq! I was happy to learn about this location, open roughly 9months now! I was tired of driving to the location in (Main St) Old Town. No parking and always congested. This location has a lot more to offer on top of exceptional pizza. There is Atlas Brew Works, a bar set up with TV's and a game area. The location is huge. Parking hasn't been a problem for me as I always luck up on the street outside the establishment. There is a parking garage as well because Andy's faces the backside of the AMC theater at Hoffman.There is also a parking garage with access on both sides of Wegmans Carlyle- Alexandria. Came in to pass some time while waiting for my daughter to get her hair done. I found it odd that there are multiple pizza shops in close proximity but this one was connected to Atlas and had quite a bit of outdoor seating. We got a #3 which was a good deal. We both got pepperoni which was so good. Crust was crisp but still doughy. The old bay wings were seasoned just right and came straight from the fryer. I only wished they had BBQ sauce to dip them in. Worth a stop if you are in the area

Great lunch deal here for some delightful pizza but the also...a bucket of lemonade. Freshly squeezed and it was so enjoyable. I ended up re-using for water the rest of the day. The pizza is hard to beat.

Came here for a quick bite, so I can't speak directly for the beers. I ordered a slice of the margherite pizza. It was cooked onto a thin crispy crust. The sauce and basil were fresh. Not the best pizza flavor wise, but it was decent for a snack. Overall, the service was pretty good as well.

I recently stopped by Andy's Pizza located inside Atlas Brew Works in the Carlyle Crossing complex off Mandeville Lane, and it was a fantastic experience. This is a perfect spot for grabbing authentic New York-style pizza paired with award-winning craft beer right here in Alexandria. My favorite is the Carnivore pizza, buffalo wings, and the blueberry ginger lemonade. I love that the have pinball machines which I usually play while waiting on my food. If you're in Alexandria, drop by Andy's Pizza at Atlas Brew Works (2429MandevilleLn) for a delicious NY‑style slice, a solid lineup of local brews, and a welcoming, lively atmosphere and excellent service. It's become my go-to for lunch or casual night out--highly recommend!

Stopped by recently and had an amazing time! I wish I would have taken more pictures. We ordered a regular cheese pizza, a white pizza and chicken tenders with fries. The chicken tenders were burnt and not very good but the pizza was AMAZING! We especially liked the red pepper flakes they had from Flat Iron Pepper Co. we went home and immediately ordered a bottle! Service was extremely quick and friendly! Thank you!

After an evening on U street, this is a great spot for a quick slice of pizza. Plenty seating out back and staff is fast. I've eaten here several times after or before shows at the 930 club. Worth a stop.

The pizza is very good, large by the slice pieces. We also got Caesar salads and they are nothing special - croutons are very hard, parmesan is powdered (not shredded) and dressing is in a plastic container. All served in a to-go container with plastic forks and knives even though we were eating in. (Minus points for those) The pizza is counter service on paper plates, but that's not such a horrible thing. The place is in a nice newer development with plenty of street and garage parking. The restaurant is clean, high ceilings, TVs showing sports, and a small arcade area. There is a variety of seating options- at the bar, high-top tables, and cushioned booths. Big plus that there are a number of single restrooms, gender neutral. Atlas beer is the highlight, and the brewing tanks are all around. I recommend for a slice and a beer before or after a movie nearby. Just don't expect super-attentive service.

Not much of a beer girl but I will come to Atlas for some Andy's Pizza. Super quick to go in and get a slice. Makes it easy for those who need a quick bite as well. Most of their pizzas are laid out and they warm it up right in front of you. Big fan of their pepperoni slice. I also did not get the name of this slice with pork on it but whatever it was, get it! Super delicious. Great place for families to come. Even if you're not into drinking beer, come for the pizza!!

I recently had the opportunity to try Andy's NY style pizza, at their new location off Mandeville ln. I must say that my experience was quite underwhelming. While there were a few positive aspects, such as the gracias toppings and the overall appearance of the pizza, there were a couple of significant drawbacks that left me disappointed. Firstly, the crust of the pizza was a major letdown. It had a burnt flavor and a slightly unpleasant texture, which detracted from the overall enjoyment of the pizza. The burnt crust not only affected the taste but also made it difficult to fully appreciate the other ingredients. It was disappointing to find such a prominent flaw in an otherwise promising pizza. Furthermore, the flavor of the pizza was forgettable. Despite the toppings, the overall taste failed to leave a lasting impression. The combination of the burnt crust and the lackluster flavor made it difficult to fully enjoy the pizza and left me feeling unsatisfied. While I understand that taste preferences can vary, I found Andy's pizza to be a disappointment. The unpleasant burnt crust and forgettable flavor were significant drawbacks that overshadowed any positive aspects of the pizza. Service on the other hand was pleasant and quick. Since this location opened a few weeks ago, the interior is a cool vibe. Maybe, I'll give this location another go in the near future in hopes the crust/flavor is improved.

Have had Andy's pizza at other locations and it has not been as fresh and tasty as at this one. The slices were no reheated, and you could still see the fluffiness of the burrata sitting on the pizza. Place was clean, staff were friendly and attentive. Need to be back for their pizza wings and salads. Waiting to have you sell t-shirts soon. Highly recommended!

Update: I went back recently and the pizza was not floppy this time and was crispy and absolutely delicious... and I joined the beer club at Atlas so I will be going back there again soon ;)

Andy's got some good pizza....per slice I mean. Ain't nobody got it like Andy, I'll tell you that much, I'll tell you that much right now. Andy's pizza so good, I only had one slice. S*** set me off, I'm telling you it did. Not much grease, just the right amount of everything. Well, not really, what was good about it was you could buy a slice, but that's pretty much it, right? You get a slice you pay a slice, right? Well I'm off to the next slice, tired of Andy anyways. Peace, deuce or whateva!

Excellent pizza that pairs perfectly with the beers available from Atlas. Great, family friendly environment. Really enjoyed Tylaya's service too.

I tried Andy's @ Atlas twice for good measure. It's safe to say that Andy's is fine, but not great. I had two slices on two occasions: the margarita and the buffalo chicken options. I also tried the chicken tenders. The good news is, I like the patio seating outdoors, the bad news is that the food is forgettable. However -- this place just opened, so perhaps flavor issues can be chalked up to that. Because it's dog friendly outside, I'm giving it an extra star. I'll revisit this review soon to check in on the food.

Crust is crunchy and pizza is delicious all combos are decently priced and offer a variety of options.

If you are looking for a quick pizza bite at a reasonable price, Andy's is it! Can't go wrong with 2 slices - $10! Thanks to Saad for always providing quick service! They also house their own brewery... so if you're looking for a good atmosphere to watch sports and drink beer.. this place is it! Great size bar and seating... even have a few video games in the back!

Andys Pizza is located within Atlas at Carlyle Crossing, offering a perfect pairing of beer + pizza. Andys offers starters, salads, slices, full pies, and speciality pies. They have slices ready to go and heat up on site. Service is fast, efficient, and friendly. Highly recommend the Pepperoni Special!

Atlas Brewery is a separate part of the place and a **much better place**. Andy's pizza tastes great and the servers behind the counter are very nice. The problem is with the management. They could use some customer service training. I will come back but they should do more about their ambience and watch how they treat their customers. I'd suggest getting your pizza and heading over to the Atlas Brewery instead, where there is a much better vibe and excellent service. That's what I will do, at least. The pumpernickel stout was delish and the bartenders are golden.

Like all Andy's, the pizza was amazing. Truly is the best in the area. But the service -- wow. I ordered online and the site told me it'd be ready at 7:15pm. I got there at 7:20. And got my pizza at 7:55. Now it was a Friday night and beautiful weather and the beer garden was full, so that probably overwhelmed them, but they need to factor that into their ordering system.

Food was amazing and the service was fast! The ambiance of the place is very pleasant and it's kid friendly! The perfect place to have eat, drink and have fun!

I've been coming here for a hot minute and one of my biggest take aways is how fantastic the staff are. Saad is consistently one of the reasons I continue to return. He makes sure to not only treat his customers with respect, but does a great job taking care of them as well. All the stars to this company for hiring the right people.

The crust is next level. They need to do crust sticks with some dipping sauce. Slices are quite large and delicious. I got the pepperoni special and it was great. Large fresh basil pieces and a good heaping scoop of burrata. I tried my dad's mushroom and onion and it was a great white sauce. I highly suggest multiple different slices to try.

They do not honor online orders. I recently went to pick up an online order and my order was 30 minutes behind. The staff was not apologetic, and they were still taking orders despite not fulfilling the orders they already had. Ver disappointed with the service.

Great food and service! The outdoor seating is convenient, and provides enough seating for many people.

This rating is not about Andy's pizza but the GrubHub driver and Yelp ordering. I ordered a pizza around 5 PM with an estimated 30-45 delivery time. I waited until 6:30 thinking maybe there was traffic - oh and I live less than a 1/2 mile from the business. I was specific about the delivery driver calling my cell so I could buzz him/her in and they could bring the Pie to my door. In fact, I clicked that I'd Tip in Cash to hopefully ensure the driver would come up and not leave my pie at the desk in the lobby. at 6:35 PM I call grubhub to be notified the pie had been delivered an hour ago - there was no call - there was no knock on my door - and thankfully there was no tip provided in advance, I might have spit in my pizza but I'll never know. I called grub hub who said there was nothing they could do but say they were sorry - yet they employ and pay the drivers - I promise Grub Hub will never be used again to order food. And for the driver who let my pizza get cold - Thank you for Nothing!

Best pizza in town!! We get Andy's every Friday night. The large half cheese half pepp is perfect. Juicy crispy pepperonis, just the right about of cheese, large thin crust NY style slices, and my favorite part is the crust. It's fluffy and not too chewy but has that little pull apart effect you want. We also get a fresh lemonade and/or craft beer depending on the mood! Love you Andy's!

got a free slice of pizza from a yoga class but haven't tried it yet. they won't let me eat it until I write a review but it looks great!

Andy's is one of the better NY style pizzas in the area. Service is always good. Everyone appreciates a by the slice spot!
