Google
What a hidden gem, I was in the area today and googled places to eat near me. After seeing great reviews, I decided to give this place a try and boy let me tell you what a great decision that was. My fiancée and I were waited on by friendly staff, checked on by the owners, and served a delicious meal in a beautiful setting. We appreciated the humble attitude followed by an amazing meal and we will definitely be returning to support this great family owned and operated business!

Google
Service was friendly and knowledgeable - and we like that the menu changes every two weeks. We were there for the caribbean/island theme. The first two dishes we both thought needed salt - both were on the bland side to us. The rainbow salad (the third course) was my favorite dish - the spicy lime vinaigrette gave it some heat and tartness, the pickled onions gave it some acid and the fresh fruit gave it some natural sweetness. The shrimp curry I'd classify as mild - and the shrimp was slightly over, not yet too rubbery but past tender. The dessert (buneulos with banana ice cream) - I also really liked. I'll gladly pay for exceptional food - the bottom line for me was, for the cost, the food should have excellent, bordering on exceptional - and IMO three of the five dishes should have been better. We also took some things home from the on-site bakery. Some macarons. a lemon loaf cake, and some macaroons. Based on these three things I would gladly purchase anything from there. The macaroons I can't imagine being better - they were exceptional. The Nanaimo bar and lemon loaf cake were very good as well - and all the baked goods were consumed the following day.

We enjoyed An Evening at Atlas Eats tonight with friends the menu tonight was titled "Caribbean Classics" Every was amazing the portion sizes and the flavors! I would definitely recommend the experience 10/10.

Google
2 pieces of advice. 1.) go when you are excited about every menu piece & 2.) don’t go during the summer. The AC is under powered and we were extremely hot. Overall it’s a great and fun experience. You feel like you are on a food network TV show. Staff is kind and friendly and is there to help you have a great time. We were underwhelmed with the seasoning and flavoring profile of the dishes. We expected with the price to be blown away at the dishes but only 1/5 carried that weight. The others were decent but felt like they lacked flavor of some sort of another. It would have helped if I thought of advice piece number one before going. I would go back but only if I was excited for ever dish as I first stated.

Google
Went for brunch, and everything was fantastic! Everyone in the party ordered something different, and every dish got rave reviews! The cookies we got from the bakery were delicious too. The service was quick and friendly! I can't wait to come back!

Google
Great place for unique take on food. My family and I went to The Atlas for the first time today and we enjoy great food as well as great service. Located in Inrondequoit on N. Clinton Ave this place is a gem. Today's soup was Salmon Chowder and it was perfect. I had the Kimchi Pancakes with poached egg and dragon sauce. Everything was so fresh and flavorful.

Google
Atlas Eats is the place you want to stop in for Brunch. The food is fantastic, the wait staff excellent and the joy of the dinning room or outside sitting is wonderful. I had my favorite today and could not stop reminding myself to keep the yummy sounds down to a low rumble.

Google
Big fan of the to go meals! Love the variety throughout the weeks. Buffalo salmon was pretty tasty, soup was a little bland. Dessert was simple, but very good!

Yelp
I can't believe it took us this long to try atlas eats. We went with another couple who had never been. We had an incredible French meal. I love how they run the restaurant - one seating only at 6:30 PM. Everybody eats the same thing. You do have a choice between vegetarian and non-veg. Beer and wine are available Cozy interior, fabulous staff and delicious food. Great parking in the back. Can't wait to return!

Yelp
Atlas Eats was as good as ever! I love how the atmosphere is a cute cafe vibe, but the food is so high quality and prepared and served in an elegant way. The food is delicious and they use local ingredients. Highly recommend stopping by for a Saturday brunch outdoors. You can never go wrong here. - @sophiescrumbs on Instagram

Yelp
This review is long so get ready to read along- After a significant time spent on their instagram page looking at their weekly dinner specials and pictures, I finally got the chance to make a reservation tonight for their Indian menu! The staff are amazing. I did not ask for the vegetarian option ahead of time but they were kind enough to make it happen on spot when I asked for it. And what a great job they did with those dishes! They are patient, kind and friendly. Always explain every dish they bring out and answer all your questions and make sure your needs are met. It is indeed not a huge space but when you are having a good experience at an inclusive space that does a neat job at culinary art, I doubt you'd feel like you are crammed into a tiny space. It's definitely cozy and cute. It's not overwhelming. The food and drinks were amazing. 1. For a drink I got their special Mumbai Mule. The name got me hooked and was curious to know what it is. I'd give it a 4/5. 2. I loved their bread selection. There were about five options to choose from. The 13grain bread was a winner for us. 3. I got a cup of tea towards the end of the dinner. 5/5 for the presentation and serving. Extra credit for having my favorite Twinings tea. 4. Now for the food itself, the egg curry with homemade naan was a great start! The egg curry had a heavy coconut base to it reminiscent to a classic kurma you'd find with Parottas in an Indian restaurant or household. Loved the flavors throughout. The naan was crispy and warm. 3.7/5 for this. 5. Kosambari was next. The Atlas twist to the traditional Kosambari was sweet corn and a dressing to the 'salad.' It was very well made but I couldn't ignore the bitter notes from the cucumber. 3/5. So far they have impressed me with a good South Indian representation. 6. We opted for the Cauliflower fry (Vegetarian option instead of the shrimp fry). Served over Raita and topped with pear and raisin chutney this definitely was an interesting flavor journey. The pears were amazing by themselves rather than with the cauliflower. 4/5. Grateful for the staff for being accommodating at the last minute. 7. Butter chicken with basmati rice was next in line. I opted for Paneer as the vegetarian option. The paneer was good but a bit too chewy. The gravy had a good balance of butter and ghee hints. The rice was very fluffy and perfect. The rice:paneer:gravy ratio was pretty good too. 4/5 8. Last touch was the Stonefruit Lassi. This course was what made me want to try Atlas out. Layers of homemade yogurt and peach n plum purée topped with pistachios. The yogurt reminded me a lot about Rasmalai. It had the fermented taste to it too. The purée was great by itself and combined too. Consistency wasn't too bad. 4/5. 9. The lassi came with the Nankhatai biscuit/cookie. I was excited about this 'coz who doesn't love Nankhatai biscuits? It was soft and good however I wasn't a fan of the crumbly texture. Overall this was an amazing refreshing experience. I do hope to be back for another interesting dinner menu sometime soon!

Yelp
Phenomenal brunch this afternoon! Drinks: fresh brewed iced tea, hot tea, and home made orangina Food: open faced chicken Reuben with a side salad, Atlas burger with mayo Desserts: Nanaimo bar, pineapple, banana, and apple cupcake, chocolate macaron complete with homemade whipped cream Atlas is a cozy and personable restaurant and bake shop. The entrance is lined with a bakery and dessert case that will tantalize your taste buds before you've even ordered your food. Atlas is a must try whether you're a native Rochesterian or passing through! Your palette will thank you.

Yelp
The food, service and vibe were all top-notch. Poached eggs were perfect. The bacon amazing and the presentation was 5-star

Yelp
tldr: Wonderful brunch that could easily become a regular part of my Saturday's Atlas, while not special in atmosphere, makes up for it in delicious food that feels like elevated home cooking. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted and plated, all at a reasonable price tag. I could see myself stopping by for brunch often! I have yet to try dinner, but I am excited at the idea!

Yelp
We stayed in the Air BNB and this restaurant came highly recommended by the owner of the AirBNB. Other guests as well as family recommended. The food was delicious (they graciously accommodated my mother's request). It was nicely presented. The staff were very attentive. Prices very reasonable. The best of the best was the bakery. I am grateful I don't live local as my healthy eating would take backseat. The place is small so arrive earlier - it has a following! The ambience reflects the name atlas and maps etc. Will be back!

Yelp
Food is delicious but portions are very small even for a tasting menu. Wish that the courses were brought out closer together, seemed like a long wait between each course. The bread was fantastic, lots of variety and very fresh. Overall service was fantastic. You may still be hungry after dinner.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing Caribbean night dinner! The service is excellent. The food is phenomenal. The ambience is historic yet modern, pleasant and interesting. Can't wait to return.

Yelp
Very cute cafe! There is a parking lot on the side. We sat outside and just had coffee with a couple of the baked goods which were delicious. The table outside was quite small and it was difficult to fit all our individual plates, mugs and dessert serving plates. Next time would probably request a bigger table than what's already arranged for a party of 3. Overall the staff was kind and it was a lovely afternoon!

Yelp
In my opinion, Atlas Eats is the best restaurant in Rochester. Food is always delicious and excellently prepared. I also love the theme - going around the globe to prepare menus based on regional cuisine and it's reflected in the decor, which is a nice touch. Baked goods are fantastic. Servers are attentive and seem to share duties to make sure everything is taken care of. For dinner, it is all set menu/prix fixe and I do wish there were a few more vegetarian or non red meat dinners (I do appreciate that they offer vegetarian alternatives, but more intentional vegetarian dinners would be nice) - really that is the only thing that keeps me from going all the time.

Yelp
I ordered a takeout Irish themed dinner, my first meal at this little gem of a bakery/restaurant. It was all so delicious and meticulously packaged/presented. I will be back.
google avatar

Rosemary E.

Yelp
The food is themed by country or area and changes every 2 weeks. It is very delicious and very expensive. You must have a reservation. They are usually booked 2 weeks in advance. The server explains each dish as it is served. There is only one seating ( 6:30-8:30 pm). If you want to try out the atmosphere for less $, go to brunch! All the food is excellent!

Wendy R.

Yelp
What a sweet unique restaurant. Not necessarily the best choice of foods for kids, but we loved the food. The carrot cake was amazing! I would definitely go back!
google avatar

Yelp
First time there tonight. Incredible food (international street food inspired menu) was incredible. Service was on par with best I've ever experienced. Fun to watch the team collaborate on providing an incredible experience. Dare I say $68 is an incredible value for this experience. Looking forward to visiting again. Soon. Really cool room. Great ambiance.

Yelp
So I was very fortunate a few years ago to be invited to a special event and taste several samplings from Atlas and they were all phenomenal. It's a very small and cozy restaurant with only about 8 to 10 tables. They are carefully Tetrissed into nooks and crannies along with an eclectic set of decorations. One of my favorite things about Atlas is that they do a brunch on Fridays and Saturdays! The menu options definitely run off the beaten path but are generally well received. The biggest thing missing from the breakfast menu is any type of home fries so they do have a potato salad that was very good. On my previous visit I ordered one of their amazing looking scones and was wonderfully surprised when it was served with a scoop of clotted of cream. I was very excited to return for brunch today and order another, as last time I shared with my wife and today I plan on having my own lol! However I was disappointed when the scone was served by itself and it seemed quite lonely on the plate. I did ask our server if there was a reason why I had got it served with cream last time but not this time. I thought maybe there's only specific days of the week cream was served, last time I came out on Saturday and today's Friday. This server had absolutely no idea and was very unhelpful. Our coffee cups also sadly sat empty while she spent time chatting with one of the other servers and all in all was a bit of a disappointment. I was pleasantly surprised when a woman who seemed to be of some authority, though failed to identify herself, came over to ask how our meal was. I repeated my question to her hoping to get clarification and know where I went wrong so next time I could make sure I came at the appropriate time. She seemed to very much take offense that I wanted cream with my scone and instantly her body language and tone expressed annoyance with my question. I was informed in a strict tone that I should not expect cream with my scone and that I may receive it at the indulgence of the baker or not. She then walked away and did not return. Well I can't say the atmosphere is very inviting but the food was fantastic. Even without the cream this scone was still enjoyable and even though my coffee cup was empty for most of the meal the coffee was good. I ordered the chicken breakfast sandwich that came out on a cheddar biscuit with a side of potato salad, all of which was very enjoyable. The biscuit did seem to be a little stale but that's really nitpicking. I definitely suggest you stop by and give it a try , just know that you don't go for the friendly service.

Yelp
Great restaurant--a small to medium menu with range and choice, done well. The items feel special and considered, not random trendy crowd-pleasers. All while providing plenty of options. Have tried most of the items elsewhere but never had kimchi whole wheat pancakes, so enjoyed seeing something unique. Great ambiance, seem to have regulars and locals. Service was good, relaxed. Well-priced, whereas many places in Rochester that may be considered unique or trendy are overpriced, particularly considering the quality and that they are only unique within Rochester. Unfortunately, the higher prices and ratings can sometimes lead to disappointment, when you sit down to have just pretty good food that's been done better in other cities for many years. Atlas was not like that, it was delicious and simply regularly-priced. Unique enough to try something new, and did not disappoint.

Yelp
Overall a nice visit to atlas eats and kitchen bake shop! I stopped by for a brunch with two friends on a Saturday morning right as they opened at 10am. And man they were already popping and tables were full within 15 minutes. So if you do want to wait either get there early! The restaurant won't seat your party until all arrive so make sure to all be timely! The park situation is ok, the lot is semi small but there is street parking with is pretty convenient. So for brunch we had a rather limited menu (which can be fine depending on the place). The selection was pretty decent and it had some wild cards which were fun. I tried the kimchi pancakes (also just a note that drove me a little crazy but they spelled kimchi wrong on their menu). I wasn't really sure what to expect but got it anyway. What I got was pretty good (the spicy sauce with the veggies) but I don't really know if the combo was perfect. I felt like it was just a normal pancake with some sauce and veggies. My two friends got the ranchero roll and chicken biscuit both seemed pretty pleased. One thing I was a little sad about was that when we got there and by the time we left most of the baked goods weren't out, so a little bummed as I would have liked to try a few as I know this place has great goodies! Overall nice visit!

Yelp
been here a couple times and came from brunch as it is walk in instead of reserving the dinner menu. Brunch is Friday and Saturday at 10am. I ended up getting the special because the ingredients are always unique. the bacon wasn't your normal bacon and their was a cream cheese underneath that that was a delicious unique flavor. unfortunately I can't remember the name of the cheese or where the bacon as from but it wasn't like you usually get at like a diner. the item also came with a side salad with delicious dressing and two sunny side eggs. one day I would like to come back here and try one of their dinner menus. the dinners are unique as well and change weekly. they are based off a country with those ingredients used, sent out a week before so you can reserve your spot

Yelp
Good food, but a bit of a wait to be seated. Very small inside. I'd go back for dinner if the occasion arises...

Yelp
Atlas Eats is one of my favorite restaurants in town. This family-run restaurant offers a truly unique and intimate dining experience for its guests. From their Friday & Saturday brunches to their themed prix fixe dinners, the food is amazing. The Kimchee Pancakes are always a good choice for brunch. Their in-house baked breads are also quite delicious. We just visited Atlas Eats this weekend for a NOLA themed dinner and it did not disappoint. The crab cakes and BBQ shrimp were on point. Diane and Gerry do a great job welcoming you into their restaurant, as if it were their home. I always have a fabulous time at Atlas Eats. Definitely worth checking out.

Yelp
One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Atlas' philosophy seems to be to cram as many tables into a small space as is humanly possible, and then cram as many human beings as possible into that space. I came there for what I thought would be a quiet casual lunch date, stood there in line waiting for over a half hour, and finally got seated between two shrieking harpies on one side and a crying infant on the other. Noise from the tables was numbing and non-stop. You couldn't speak to the person you were with, you had to shout at the top of your lungs just to be heard. The chairs were cramped, the table space was cramped, and rushing waitresses and shuttling customers were constantly banging into my elbow, knocking food off my plate. To add propaganda to injury, one of the waitresses delivering food (which arrived at a snail's pace) had BLACK LIVES MATTER in block letters on her T-shirt. People can hold any opinion they like, that's fine, but you go to a restaurant to put food in your mouth, not to get politics shoved down your throat. Of course that assumes that restaurant management cares about the customer. This place obviously does not. Was the food good? I honestly don't know--the whole experience was that lousy. 'Atlas Eats' left this customer ready to vomit.

Margaret M.

Yelp
My mom has been raving about this place since they opened, we finally went together and WOW she was so right. The kimchi pancakes were SCRUMPTIOUS. The sweet of the whole wheat (I think?) pancakes mixed with the spicy dragon sauce and poached egg on the top was immaculate. The serving sizes are super solid. Not overwhelming but you definitely feel full after. Love the cozy family style atmosphere and the wonderful staff. Definitely gonna be added to the eating out rotation haha.
google avatar

Yelp
Atlas Eats has a great atmosphere, delicious brunch (try the pancakes!), and is located conveniently within walking distance of the Seneca Park Zoo. My family and I stopped here for a bite to eat before heading to the zoo, which I highly recommend!

Yelp
Best brunch in Rochester! Such a diverse and eclectic menu and it all is absolutely delicious. Can't wait to come in for dinner soon for their Edible Atlas menu.

Yelp
Awesome small local business that always delivers great food and value. Staff always does its best to accommodate customers as well.

Yelp
Atlas Eats is a favorite of mine due consistently high quality food and great atmosphere. I like it for breakfast/brunch and to take out-of-towners for something a little different. I had a fantastic birthday meal there several years ago that I still think about! The rotating menu is one of the best features, as you can always try something new. Luckily, they have stayed strong through the pandemic. Because the restaurant is small, there is no dining in at this time. However, the take out process is easy. Call in your order during the week, pay over the phone, and pick a time to go get it on a Friday or Saturday. There's a table set up when you arrive, at which an employee asks for your name, and off you go! They can accommodate vegetarians, just let them know when you place your order. You can also order add ons like cookies, bottles of wine, or freshly baked bread. I recently ordered takeout from their Israeli menu, as well as chocolate peanut butter macarons. Just as tasty as eating in, but this time in my sweatpants.

Yelp
Enjoyed my final brunch of 2019 here at Atlas and could not have wrapped the year on a higher, tastier note. WOW! So glad we decided to shake up our usual routine and head to the oft packed Atlas. We arrived around 9:30am and seated promptly, but any later than that (especially with any group larger than two) should expect a wait. We ordered coffee and mimosas and settled in. My previous experience with Atlas was at a Yelp event a few years back, so I knew this family owned gem was inventive, ever changing, and in it for the community. I was absolutely floored by how delicious both of our meals were. I ordered the chicken biscuit and Colin went with the kimchi pancakes. The chicken biscuit comes with a light side salad. If anything on the menu says it comes with Atlas boss sauce - order it immediately. This sticky, savory sauce took my day from great to "DON'T TALK TO ME I AM IN CUTLET HEAVEN" so fast I don't even know what happened. Topped with a perfectly prepared sunny egg and I have a new fave brunch dish of all time. My date's kimchi pancakes were light and enhanced by a perfect amount of kick. Our service was prompt and friendly, and coffees stayed filled to the brim all morning. I am forever in love with the team at Atlas and can't wait to swing back sooner rather than later for a baked good. Move it into your regular routine ASAP!

Ula A.

Yelp
Service and food are 10 outs 10. Each and every time it's excellent!! Soups are always perfectly delicious

Yelp
Fantastic meal! We had the "Mexican Vacation". Great spot - well worth the investment of the booking and cost. We will return.

Yelp
Sorry I didn't take a picture of my entrée of my brunch was so good I forgot to take a picture of it. This place is a great gem hidden away in Irondequoit. I've been going for the past five years I've never had a bad meal. You can get mimosas. Try their seven course dinners that they do on the weekends from different countries. It's a small place they don't take reservations for brunch. But they do take out for dinner and you can come in and buy stuff they bakery. Check it out yourself and see what you think. I'm always pleasantly surprised.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite brunch spots to go to when I visit Rochester! Small, local, and fresh food. I always get the kimchi pancakes and this time I got some macarons, too. Both did not disappoint. They don't take reservations that I know of. First come, first serve. And everyone in the party needs to be present in order to be seated. Since the place is so small, you'll be sitting pretty close to other tables. They have a lot of tables in a small space, which isn't my personal hell, but for some people it may be, so just a warning. The prices are fair, I think. The service is ok. I like to think I'm understanding, since they were super busy on a weekend morning during brunch, but the waiter was kind of on the slower side. It wasn't an issue, though. Overall, though, I think their service is good. Maybe it was just that day. I've always heard good things about their dinner menu and I absolutely love that they do dishes from around the world! One day I'll have to try it out. This is a brunch spot you need to come to if you're ever in the Rochester area!

Christopher S.

Yelp
The food the service in the ambience are all excellent. This is a restaurant that should not be missed.

Yelp
Absolute gem. Went for weekend brunch and was completely floored by the flavors. I got the kimchi pancakes and could have easily crushed another serving. Coffee is delicious and the service is lovely. Cute little space, as well. Hoping to go back for one of their dinners. They do full dinners themed by different locations around the world, rotating their menu every couple weeks! Can't wait to be back.

Yelp
Wow. Just wow. I had high expectations for this place, but I had no idea that it would turn out to be the best brunch place ever. I'm talking real deal artisan goodness in a relaxing hole in the wall location, with great service and an atmosphere to die for. This is one of those restaurants that earned its reputation through their own merit and didn't just find a good location and coast like some popular venues. I would compare it to a brunch experience I had when I met up with a friend in San Fran, only I think this one was even better! I had the gravy biscuit meal (the waitress told me that is their most popular one), and my friends had the kimchi pancakes and the Ranchero. All three were superb, and the Kimchi pancakes had a nice healthy aftertaste that I don't typically experience when I go to Korean restaurants. I brought home a macaroon for my wife and she said it was one of the best she ever had (she wouldn't share). Will be back soon!

Yelp
I've been here twice. It's actually easy to spot if you take North Clinton and just pay attention to your left once you enter the residential area. In the summer you'll see outdoor seating maybe that's even easier. There is a small lot behind the building, about 20 spots or less. It is Okay to park across from the lot on the side street. The inside is not big but the big windows make it feel open. It gives you a down-to-earth feeling, nothing fancy or intimidating. I enjoyed the ranchero rolls during my first visit and chicken biscuit this time. The biscuit was flaky and soft. The chicken was a thick piece of juicy breast (I think) with melted cheese on top. The sauce was placed on the side so that it would not sog the biscuit. They also have new specials rolling out just for Saturdays and Sundays every week - watch out for their FB posts! Next time I'll definitely do the dinner menu.

Yelp
Tried this place for my birthday breakfast, since it has such great reviews! It was in an easy to find plaza on N Clinton, and there is parking in the back! This place is small and quaint, super cute homey feel with world maps and beautiful furnishings! There's about 10 tables, and it had a good stream of customers in and out during our visit on a Friday morning. The staff was super friendly and attentive, brought our drinks promptly and went over the specials. I picked the whole wheat waffle pancakes with real maple sugar. It was to die for! So perfectly cooked. Fluffy, melt in your mouth, real butter on top. My husband enjoyed a few bites too! He settled on the scrambled skillet, which had fresh grape tomattoes and spinach. The egg was so fluffy and perfectly seasoned. It came with a great slice of toast, fresh baked. So delicious! We will definitely be returning to try lunch and dinner, and check out the sweet bakery!

Yelp
It was thE wife's birthday and she wanted to try something new. After a quick yelp search she found Atlas and they had amazing reviews. Of corse we said we'll be the judge of this place let's go! The location was great far away from 104 but not too far away. Inside was pretty small bbt it looked like there was another area thaT opened up? When you walk in you pass by all the delicious looking baked goods. We were tempted but decided to have a seat and eat. The menu was pretty small with not much of a selection but they had everything you need like pancakes, scrambled eggs, sandwiches and more. I ordered the breakfast scrambler that came with the must beautiful fluffy eggs, tomatoes and spinach with some toast. It was the perfect amount of food. I need more places like this. That tell me how much is enough or else I'll end up eating too much and feeling awful when leaving. My wife's pancakes were amazing as well with real maple syrup. It worth a stop in and it can be on the hipster side but some amazing food will be had nonetheless. We will return for some hanger steaks!

Yelp
A "diamond in the rough" or the neighborhood! We have had several wonderful meal. The Kimachi eggs are the bomb as are the coursed dinners. Outstanding pastries, breads and desserts. A must try!!

Yelp
I FINALLY got here... what a fabulous hidden gem. If you did not know about it or use your GPS you would drive right by.. it's in a very residential neighborhood. I met a few people for brunch and we got a great deal of things to share. FYI no reservations unless you are doing the edibles menu (and that's certain Weekend Nights) during the week brunch your gonna wait. I'm gonna say this now the only reason it's not a FIVE STAR REVIEW is cause well it was warm in the restaurant.. like sweat running down our backs sweaty. I understand the kitchen is front and center and people are sitting outside.. but this was not a pleasurable experience. I must have drunk two pitchers of water and my group did talk about it among ourselves. Please try to keep the place cool during the Summer. Food.. it was interesting, different and tasty.. Kimchi Pancakes YES! Kimchi Fried Rice HELLA YAS. They must make their stuff in house it's perfect that kimchi. We had Eggs & Bacon on Cheddar Biscuits YUM GET U those or at least the biscuits. The bacon is locally sourced YUM I wanted more.. Everything is as locally sourced as possible The Sausage Gravy Biscuit and so much more.. Deserts are tasty mostly chocolate based but lovely They make their own scones oh an yea they make there own vanilla extract. Service is good but the staff is hustling in a good way Mimosas are tasty the juice is a mixture of citrus flavors. Next on my must do is an Edibles Dinner Street parking. JUST GO NOW

Yelp
Every meal I have had here has been thoroughly thought out and well executed. The bakery is wonderful, with a great selection of breads and pastries. The restaurant decor is minimalist but sets a global tone and is still sweet. The staff is on top of everything and the owners are always there working right with them. I can't think of another more well run restaurant with delicious food in Rochester!

Yelp
We've now attended a weekend dinner dining experience in addition to multiple brunches. I can confidently report that this is my FAVORITE restaurant of all places I've ever been. That's a big statement. I don't throw it around lightly. We were transported to Italy for a stunning 5 course meal pre-selected by the chef. I wouldn't want it any other way. You sit back and trust that it's going to be a magical, delicious experience. In a scenario like that I don't want a menu- I want the professional to be calling the shots. The wine menu gives you a little control, but we surrendered and asked for suggestions, which worked out superbly. And we added the optional veal dish to our dinner. The flavors are heavenly. The experience is so romantic- just an intimate little shop. And the staff are all wonderful, genuinely good people. And you get to meet the chef- and he's awesome. In the most down-to-Earth, likable kind of way. It radiates that he loves to do this. And I feel like it must be some huge secret that he could actually go to New York or London etc and be some huge success. But fortunately he's in Rochester. Lucky us!!

Yelp
After much hype amongst the casual diners and elites alike, I stopped in the for lunch with a friend. In this small and quaint restaurant riddled with themes of world maps and globes, the ambiance made me feel like I was eating lunch in a classroom. And appropriately, I totally got schooled. Big time. Atlas Eats will teach you what the level food presentation and quality needs to be in this town. I opted for the Tomato Basil soup, which was nothing but divine. Even the flower tasted good (I'm supposed to eat that right?). For lunch I ordered the Korean Fried Rice with Egg and Tofu. After staring at it in awe for about 10 minutes, I mixed up that bibimbob with the guilt of ruining such beauty. However, that guilt was easily washed away while I indulged on that flavorful and spicy rice, fresh and crunchy veggies, and firm tofu. Oh boy that was delightful. Looks are deceiving because the dish was so abundant that I couldn't finish half of it. My friend partook on the Chicken Caprese on homemade Ciabatta Bread: Just WOW. I was fortunate enough to have a friend willing to share a piece (thanks Rose V). Chewing from that rich cheesy layer, through the juicy chicken and finally to the crispy bread was a trifecta-induced foodgasm. I know what I'm getting next time! You owe yourself a visit to this spot. It's simply amazing. I can't wait to try out their next nation inspired cuisine. Hopefully in this restaurant, I can taste the world in 80 days!

Yelp
What do you say about Atlas Eats that hasn't already been said? I'm not sure if my review will add on to the wonderful experience that is going to Atlas. But I'll try anyway. Atlas Eats is tucked away in a small building on N. Clinton, right over the Irondequoit border. It's really easy to go right past it if you don't know what you're looking for. Luckily, if you're going to Atlas, you're definitely headed that way for a reason. Park in the back and head inside for one of the best restaurant experiences you've ever had. I give full credit to Mel B. for introducing me to Edible Atlas, the rotating dinner series that transports you around the world in five courses. My first trip took me to Israel and the Middle East and I was hooked from the first bite. Other favorites include farm to table tapas, Spain and Morocco, and the ever-popular Italy. By the end of each dinner, I can't decide on just one favorite. The first course is usually an appetizer, second is soup or salad, third is typically a grain, fourth is the main course (meat or fish), and finally, the fifth course is dessert. You'd think that it would be hard to eat five courses in one seating, but as long as you pace yourself, you won't have any issues. Always keep in mind that you need to save room for dessert here! Recently I was able to come for lunch, so I finally feel as though I can really review Atlas Eats in a complete sense. I highly recommend the lentil and quinoa burger, which comes with tzatziki and may as well have been created especially for me, that's how amazing it is. It's really wonderful to experience Atlas during the daytime, there's so much light in the dining area and you definitely can't drive past the restaurant as easily as you could at night. Finally, there's the bakeshop. Just do it. What more can I say? I recommend the linzertorte in particular. If you're too full after lunch, or want to extend the dinner experience, grab something to take home. You'll be happy you did. Something to note: I often have to skip Edible Atlas because the menu includes pork or shellfish in a way that I can't replace it. While this is better for my wallet, I still want to try everything! The staff is really good about leaving the pork off one dish if you call ahead and ask, for example. However, I only do this when it doesn't change the tone of the entire dish. If the fourth course is pork, I skip the menu entirely. The customer service is outstanding. You can always tell that the owners care deeply about the food and the experience. Not every place can say that! It's hard to describe Atlas Eats in a way that is new and original. But when you think about it, do you really need to come up with anything new? Rochester is so lucky to have Atlas Eats, and I want to take them with me wherever I go.

Yelp
This place is wonderful, the food is excellent, the staff super warm and friendly. We love the changing menu and the number of things that we get to try because of it. The brunch is great too and their bakery items are to die for.

Yelp
Finally got in to enjoy a 6 pm seating at Atlas Eats this past Friday night. I had literally tried to get in for several months with larger groups, and was lucky to get in solo for the French Country Picnic dinner. At 6 pm, the place has nice light, and if you get a seat with a view of the kitchen you can be easily entertained by the chefs as they plate all the dinners. The interior has a comfy kitchen feel and all the staff are on their toes, attentive and friendly. For the French Country Picnic, the 5 courses contained all my faves: local seasonal veggies, edible flowers, beautiful plates and inspired combinations! I'm not sure it's really necessary to fully describe my dining experience since they have an excellent reputation, but I'll mention a few things. First, if you think you want to eat here, I think it would be safe to reserve well in advance even though the menu changes every couple weeks and you won't know what you are going to be eating. I don't know how you can go wrong. You could always cancel or reschedule as the menu is posted. Second, like them on FB to be among the first to get notice of their new menu. Third, you can get wine, beer and some limited cocktails here - they will run you in the neighborhood of $7 for a cocktail. When I went, they had a chambery spritz on offer with lemon and strawberry, it was sweet but light and lovely. Fourth, park on the street in front, on the side street or in the back lot. You can enter through the back as well. Fifth, if you are going there from the city - take 590N to 104W - it's faster! Sixth, make friends in the place! The seating is intimate with close tables; the night I was in I was alone and the couple seated next to me started up a conversation that carried us through all the courses over the 2 hrs we were there. Very friendly people there that night, and it added to the overall experience. Last, the selection of desserts and sweet treats (brownies, cookies, cake, lamingtons, etc etc) for sale in the bakery portion should not be overlooked...especially if you want to take a little of the experience home with you! Highly recommended; can't wait to return!!

Yelp
Enjoyed a lovely lunch with delicious food and terrific service. Highly recommend. Took home some baked goods, including a gluten- free chocolate cookie to die for.
