The Complete Guide to Florida Craft Oysters

"Atlas Oyster House stages an event called “The World is Your Oyster,” where executive chef Jason Hughes serves a five-course meal that starts with an amuse-bouche of Grayson Bay oysters topped with Gulf seafood ceviche and moves through baked, smoked, and fried preparations, culminating in a whimsical chocolate oyster dessert; the restaurant posts event updates on social media." - Carrie Honaker

Above anything else the value for the oyster dinners are insanely cheap, it is priced liked the 90s, and I’m about that life. There is some real technical skill in the kitchen from Chef Jason and staff. Personally on a “5” course menu I would argue most people shouldn’t love every item. The Chef should push ingredients and combinations the average patron has not experienced before. Some will work, others may fall flat, but the fun is in the newness and excitement therein. For example, I don’t like raw oysters. However, people should still push through even if one course is outside of their comfort zone. The biggest downside is the dinner doesn’t run smooth after the meal is done. The reservation should have you pay up front so upon completion you don’t have to wait and settle up checks with everyone else. With the quality and quantity of food and drink, plus guest speakers throughout the meal, I would highly recommend this dinner to everyone.

We went to Fish House and was sent here because of the long wait. The food was pretty good. I loved my shrimp and the green beans and the shrimp tempura sushi. Hubby’s gumbo was really good. I wish the California roll had roe on it. My kids had the grilled fish meal with mashed potatoes. $10 for a kids grilled fish meal is pretty pricey. I did not like the grits. It was my fault. I didn’t realize they were rice grits vs corn grits. I was not a fan of the fluffy texture. My husband loved his old fashioned. My margarita was okay. Total bill was $165 for 2 adults and 2 kids. We went at night and it was too cold to sit outside for us however they do have lots of outdoor heaters and plastic that blocks the wind if you want to sit outside. Our server was very nice and attentive. Zero issues with her.

Google
So the oysters and the tuna nachos were pretty great. We do miss the Oysters Arcadiana they use to have, they were the best. However their sushi leaves a lot to be desired. It was the driest, flavorless gas station sushi I have ever had. The ginger had more flavor than the Tiger Roll we ordered. I recommend taking sushi off the menu and sticking to the oysters.

Did you show up to The Fish house and it's a long wait? Go to Atlas! We had the magic mushrooms, lamb ribs and their firecracker calamari... it was the best dishes I have had in a long time and we eat at 5 star restaurants all the time! I was beyond impressed.. canceled our wait for the fish house. Drinks? Their Mai Tai was exactly like the ones I've had in Hawaii!! You will not be disappointed!!

Google
I love Atlas Oyster House. I just attended one of their tri-annual oyster dinners. It was educational, entertaining, and the food and service were amazing. They also have 75¢ oyster Tuesdays. I attend that as often as possible. They have lots of drinks from local breweries/wineries. Quality is present start to finish, food drink and beyond. Lyndsey in particular is my favorite server. Very intuitive and there when you need her.

First time visit to Atlas oyster House. A chili but sunny afternoon on a Sunday. Lindsay C was our server and she was great. Kept our glasses full and was knowledgeable and friendly without being overbearing. We started with a selection of raw oysters. All the oysters were fresh, plump and juicy. Serve with cocktail sauce, horseradish, and a soy type mignonette which I didn’t care for but the cocktail sauce was killer! Sweet and spicy! Entrees were a roasted garlic Caesar topped with salmon and a crawfish pot pie. The salmon was cooked perfectly at medium rare as requested, and the crawfish pie was savory and delicious with a crust! Definitely be going back to this place ! Urban Cowgill December 2024

We’re in town visiting family and came in for dinner. The food, drinks, waiter and atmosphere could not have been more perfect. We sat outside and started with the Burnt Brussels (highly recommend), Calamari and a Clam & oyster plate. Our meals were fantastic! We had pork chops, shrimp & grits (The Girl Next Door), gulf shrimp, a few sushi rolls and topped it off with the matcha cheesecake. Our waiter, Anthony was extremely informative and patient (as we were indecisive) and service was phenomenal! We will definitely be back next time we visit.

Awesome experience at the Atlas Oyster House. Great Customer Service and the food was AMAZING. We had an a great time and recommended to everyone in town.

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner this week because there was a super long line at the Fish House and we were immediately seated at Atlas. They are connected to each other. We sat outside which has several booths that overlook the water. Lovely inside and outside. We started off with the seafood nachos. A generous portion and the seafood is minced throughout the nachos. For entrees I had the red snapper which was fantastic. Large portion and cooked to perfection. My colleague had the shrimp and grits and loved it as well- another huge portion. Lastly, my other colleague got the clams and bucatini and it was too salty- we let our server, Anthony, know and he immediately had it recooked and profusely apologized. The service here was extraordinary, next to none. The manager also came over as did another to apologize. They boxed the remade portion (which was enormous) and even comped it as well as some desserts. For desserts, we had the matcha cheesecake and bread pudding, although the key lime pie was in the running! The matcha cheesecake was exceptional. The peanut butter with the green tea works so well somehow. The bread pudding was equally delicious. I cannot speak more highly of Atlas- everything from the food to the dessert to the service it was all exceptional. We will be back!

Yelp
A colleague had recommended Aylas to me and learned that Tuesday's were 75 cent oyster night! I had been to Fish House a few times and always had a great experience so had to try out Atlas and believed they are ran by same owner. I was worried about finding seating but considering I was alone, I found a spot at the bar with ease! Service was excellent and the oysters were so fresh and large. Did a dozen and half and also added the shrimp and crab nachos. Way too much for 1 person! Loved the view from the back patio looking over the marina in the evening. Highly recommend trying it out if downtown Pensacola!

Yelp
Fish house was an hour wait, so we decided to try this place. Service was nice, but super slow. Drinks took 15 min to come out after we ordered. Apps took 30. For the entrees, the hot ones came out after 30 min but the sushi didn't come out for another 30 min after the hot entrees. I thought the sushi was fairly mediocre. The manager comped us for the sushi which was really nice.

Yelp
Came for their Veaux Carre cocktail, which was delicious. Stayed for several appetizers and sushi. Our server was very polite and and attentive. We sat in a cozy bar side booth and loved watching the bartenders work there magic. Phil Sushi Roll for my wife, she really enjoyed it. I especially enjoyed the fresh Brain Freeze Wasabi. I ordered Magic Mushrooms, BBQ Shrimp and Shrimp n Fish Ceviche. We both really enjoy small plates and sharing, so this was perfect for us. Magic Mushrooms are very succulent and flavorful, perfect combination with the crustini. BBQ Shrimp was some of the best we've eaten in Pensacola. Not overly sweet like most, succulent shrimp and the sauce was perfect in the sauce. Ceviche was so good, great palate cleanser for all the rich saucier dishes. Finished the evening with a flavorful Sazarac. Our 2nd time here and highly recommended!

Yelp
This place was perfect! My friend I originally tried to go to the Fish House, but they had a bit of a wait. This place is attached to the Fish House and is owned by the same chef. I had the lobster tail and my friend had the seared red snapper. We shared oysters and I had some Key Lime Pie. Everything was to perfection. I love the ambiance, we had a great view of the bay from our table on the patio. Ask for Abbey, she was our waitress and she'll take great care of you!
google avatar

Brianna N.

Yelp
At the same location as the Fish House, experienced a relaxing waterfront brunch with an impressive menu selection from sushi and burgers, to chicken and waffles or crab cakes. Large outdoor patio seating with lots of cocktail options. Abbey was very attentive to our party of 8! Stellar service and checked on us the perfect amount. Everything I got I would definitely get again- spicy calamari, Rockefeller oysters, and Philadelphia rolls were all excellent! Perfect spot for a moderately priced brunch and a great view!
google avatar

Heather G.

Yelp
The oysters were fine but tiny! The worst of it was the service! There was clearly excess staff but no one gave a crap. One oyster fork for a dozen? Asked for salt, asked for wifi password. Both were what I would call a failure- far too many people just don't know the pw, and maybe there was only a set of salt and pepper between both restaurants, finally delivered with 2 oysters of 24 left! Service can break or make a meal, clearly Abbey needs a different occupation. Dirty dishes left until 2nd course came, and we were nearly the only patrons! We definitely won't be going back! It was also overpriced.

Jason H.

Yelp
We went today & found out that it's their LAST Sunday brunch. Not enough people, so they are stopping Sunday brunch. It's one of our favorite place after church & the weather is just now getting PERFECT for outside eating during brunch time. Please bring it back Atlas!!!!

Yelp
First time visiting and during their Great Southern Restaurant Winter Dinner. We ordered the Something of Everything baked oysters, Lobster Pimento Mac and Cheese, Truffle Fries, and Duck Tamales for appetizers. Which everything were delicious. I absolutely loved their baked oysters and truffle fries. I'm not big on oysters, especially being pregnant, but they did it so well, and I thoroughly enjoyed them with my husband. For the main entrees, we had the Flat Iron Steak medium rare and the Crab Stuffed Flounder. The steak was okay, but the flounder was amazing! It was a bit fishy tasting for my husband, but it tasted great to me. The combination of the crab and fish was fantastic! For desserts, we had the Cherry O Cream Cheese Ice Cream and the Matcha Blanc Mont Trifle. We definitely enjoyed the ice cream much more than we did of the trifle. By the time desserts came, we were already super stuffed, so we could barely finish the trifle. We killed the ice cream, though. It was simple divine and the perfect kiss to our meal. We were seated at a nice large table even though it was just my husband, our daughter, and myself. So we had plenty of space for all the food and drinks.

Yelp
We went for restaurant week and had a great experience. The inside of the restaurant is gorgeous and very nautical, while the outdoor seating makes you feel like you're on summer vacation and is more casual. The food was delicious, especially the fries, and I plan to come back to try the regular menu items. I was also pleasantly surprised by the cocktails. They were fairly priced and tasted perfect - not too sweet or pre-mixed tasting. It was clear they were quite understaffed the Friday we went, which I'm sure had to do with it being the off-season, so just be patient if you plan to be seated during a busy time.

Yelp
Our first return to Atlas since Covid, and the food was fantastic. We enjoyed sunset on the patio with cocktails and small plates. We had a variety of baked oysters, the stack with fries green tomatoes with lump crab salad topped with arugula. We split the Apple Brussels Sprout salad which was more than enough for two. Lindsey was very helpful with menu suggestions.

Juventino C.

Yelp
We were in Florida for vacation and noticed that the Atlas and the Fish house was open for business. So we went on Saturday (July 2025). Well to be honest the food was good not great. The fried oysters were delicious I must say. Big portions just keep that in mind so if y'all can share it would be worth it. We got there early so we were seated right away. It's expensive but that's expected, right. Would I go back well i wouldn't say no, but I believe it would not be my first choice since there are other better options. I'm just truthful and honest. Well yall can go and check it out for yourselves.

Yelp
Incredible meal! Incredible. So fresh, expertly prepared. The service was personal. The menu was filled with unique, house items. Drinks were spot-on. Waterfront atmosphere. Top three meal of 2024 in all of my Florida dining across the state.

Al-jes C.

Yelp
Everything went well the oysters were so good , the seared red snapper meal was excellent without a doubt. We orders the some of everything oyster which came with 2 of each oyster flavors baked . Clams & Bucatini was also super good and flavorful for my main course . The shrimp cocktail for appetizer was pretty good as well no complaints there pretty tasty too . The burnt Brussel sprouts was good too alil more burnt then I would have thought but it was still pretty fire indeed . For cocktail drinks was the Super Hornet not going to lie, we could have done without ..that drink was not that enjoyable taste like a chemical to be honest definitely would not do that drink ever again .

Yelp
Very mixed review on Atlas Oyster House. Service was great, view is great but food was very mediocre. The fresh oysters, combination of East Coast and West Coast were good but if you are calling yourself an oyster house then you should have more than one selection of each. Clams and bucatini was terrible, the clams were cooked perfectly but the pasta and sauce were so salty it was inedible. Red snapper entree was a little fishy and soggy skin on was not appealing. Dessert was bread pudding but not really, a few slices of soggy pound cake with a caramel sauce from a bottle squirted on, a few berries and chopped nuts sprinkled on top and a scoop of ice cream on the side. Very disappointing meal.

Ashley T.

Yelp
Everything was fantastic! From the baked oyster to the duck Rueben, it was all wonderful. Abbey was a great server, upbeat, attentive, and knowledgeable. 10/10!

Yelp
Great happy hour at Atlas Oyster House. The Brussels appetizer is amazing. Bobby is a great bartender and host! Highly recommend this place. The world is definitely your oyster here!!!
google avatar

Yelp
The oysters had good flavor combinations but on the smaller side. Not overpriced and service was good. I'd say this place was good, not exceptional.
google avatar

Kylyn F.

Yelp
Nice place for a date night wouldn't recommend birthday or even celebration took us over a hour just to get seated and another hour for food place wasn't even that busy food wasn't the best I had the fried green tomatoes and it had great sauce but was blend in taste
google avatar

C C.

Yelp
Whoa! These oysters were the BEST! Service resulted in a choice I never would have made on my own. The decor is a little dated but when the oysters are so good it really doesn't matter. The is an awesome restaurant. Will be back!!

Yelp
Ate here for a rehearsal dinner for a friend's wedding. Normally places like this don't do well with large parties (steak not cooked appropriately, cold veggies, etc) but this place broke the mold. The Caesar salad was wonderful and I loved that they brought it with the dressing on the side so I could add what I wanted. The blackened mahi mahi was phenomenal and probably the best fish I've ordered out. The rice it came with was surprisingly flavorful as well. I ordered the crime brûlée for dessert, which I've never had before and it was so good I basically licked the dish at the end (not a huge dessert eater). My friend that tried it has had them before and said it was one of the best he's had. Everyone that got a steak said it was good and the cook looked spot on from what I saw. My friend ordered the shrimp and grits and really liked them (tried the grits and they were very good). Overall, excellent experience here. I would definitely come back when visiting again.

Yelp
I never leave reviews, but the food, service, and atmosphere was everything I was looking for! I was solo traveling for the first time and I stopped at Atlas for my last night of my trip and it was by far my favorite. Made me feel welcomed and very kindly taken care of. Couldn't recommend it more, and Laura my server was the best!
google avatar

Leanne A.

Yelp
The atmosphere at Atlas alone is amazing, right on the water overlooking the bay, I can't get enough of the view. We watched fireworks on the fourth of July from here and spent quite a few evenings relaxing out back with good food. Service has always been really good, you can tell they want you to have a good time. I've enjoyed most of the food we've had here, and their fish is always very fresh. My favorite dish is their blackened red snapper, it's cut thick so it's always very tender and flaky. They have a great deal on Monday nights, where oysters are only. 25 cents for your first dozen, definitely the best deal in town. They were pretty big, fresh, and shucked to order!! We were not fans of their sushi, mostly rice and very dry. I also don't love their sides, I'm not a big comfort food person so their grits are lost on me. We'll stick to their seafood in the future.

Jill L.

Yelp
What an amazing meal. I'm sure the entrees are delicious, but we made a meal of small plates. The tuna poke was fresh and just the right amount of spicy. The burnt Brussels were the best we've ever had, and the crawfish pot pie was rich, with an incredible flaky crust. Best of all were the New Orleans bbq shrimp. The sauce was beyond delicious! We will be back! It's a must try.

Yelp
After seeing the stellar reviews on Yelp, we made a note to bookmark this place and come in during our trip. We weren't super hungry, having eaten a big lunch, so I got an appetizer as a meal and got one of my wife's two sides. When I ordered this, you could see the look of disgust on the waitress' face. She mentally checked out right then and there. Should have known it was going to be a bad experience from then on. I was especially looking forward to the Blackened Oysters. However, when they came out, they were just grilled and had no seasoning to them. Very disappointing. The meal quickly arrived afterwards. The scallops I had were good, but covered in some kind of mayo sauce that wasn't my cup of tea. I wiped it off and enjoyed it the scallops. My wife had gotten some mac & cheese as a side, and I had it. I was not very impressed. Overall, not a good experience here. It was the worst of the restaurants we dined at on our Pensacola trip.
google avatar

Meena C.

Yelp
This was a very disappointing meal. The worst (and last) meal of our little weekend getaway. We consulted Yelp and Atlas kept coming to the top. We didn't want a touristy spot... we wanted a place that locals enjoy on a casual Sunday night. And Atlas looked like the place. It was a cold Sunday night, so parking in the lot wasn't bad, but had it been nice weather, we would have had to park across the street. We walked in and were asked if we wanted to sit at the full service bar or in their main dining room. We opted for the dining room. Our waitress came over, took our drinks, and then told us about the specials. We had seen "Blackened Oysters" on the menu, and that was what my husband really wanted to try. So we ordered those for our appetizer. When they came out (and we tried them), we realized there was nothing blackened about them.... they were simply grilled, and had no flavor at all. We were barely done with the oysters before our meals had arrived. My husband ordered their appetizer special of the night (bacon wrapped scallops), and I ordered the grilled shrimp with a side of grits and mac and cheese to share. My husband's scallops came out, and they were sitting on a pita chip with some sauce that had a strong mustard flavor. This was NOT told to us when we ordered, and had we known that, my husband would have asked for it to be removed. He ended up wiping the sauce off the scallop (as best he could), and had 5 scallops as his meal. Very disappointing. My shrimp were cooked and seasoned well, but their "famous" grits were nothing to be thrilled about. They lacked flavor, and were quite clumpy and hard. The mac and cheese was almost too cheesy.. and tasted like the kind out of the box. To make matters worse, we noticed that the manager made it a point to stop at every other table to ask customers how their food was/service/etc. He never once came over to talk to us. We would have shared our opinions with him, but we felt ignored, especially since he did that with everyone else. Will we return? No. Would we recommend to others? No. I'd prefer to go to the touristy spots and get better food AND service for the same price.

Kellie S.

Yelp
I am writing this review as I am sitting here sweating my ass off in a so-called nice restaurant. We asked the waiter if they could do something about the temperature in here as it as hot as hades in here. I sit here sweat dripping from the backs of my knees. It was a flat out no with the explanation that it has been this way for weeks. I ordered a Hurricane that tastes like no Hurricane I have ever had in my megear 58 years. It it disgusting with some random piece of green crap floating in it. We so far have been served lukewarm "iced" tea that we had to ask for ice for. My husband ordered Oysters Rockfeller, which he said are alright. As a side note, there is a couple behind us who has already gotten their meal that came in after us, same waiter. We are still sitting here sipping our lukewarm tea waiting for our elusive meal. Our waiter just walked by and said our food would be here soon. Keep in mind we have been here approximately 1 hour. Finally! Food. Except my chicken has what look (and tastes) like canned peas. It has some random pieces of asparagus and an asparagus stem under the chicken. I mean, really, who the hell puts asparagus stems on a plate. We don't even do this at home. As I tried to eat what was in front of me, I found hunks of what I can only guess was sweetbreads all under the chicken, which means that didn't clean the chicken breast before preparing. The chicken was still covered in gooey chicken skin. I'm fine with a nice crispy skin, but this was straight up gooey. At that point, I could go no further. My husband said his sushi wasn't too badWe decided to cut our losses and leave. So we paid $83 for a meal that was barely edible. As another side note, the handicap parking spots are BEHIND the restaurant. You are left with the choice of rolling or walking on a very rough road or fighting palmetto bushes that haven't been trimmed or kept up for a good little bit to get to the ramp that is quite steep. It's not handicap friendly at all.

Yelp
The quality of food is amazing with a great view. Anthony and Gerald provided outstanding service.

Yelp
I usually go to the Fish House but this evening I couldn't turn down .25 cent oysters for the first dozen. The oysters were fresh and moderately chilled. Could've been chilled more but they were still fresh and tasty. I also had a Dragon roll which was pretty decent. I wasn't expecting Sushi restaurant quality but they did a pretty good job. Lastly was the Fried Crab Claws. The claws were covered with fresh claw meat, best I ever had.

Kathie S.

Yelp
So happy this place is re-opened! Giving 5 for all my past experiences and favorite brunch spot! Hoping their comeback is just as delicious with the same great service! Will update after tonight

Earl P.

Yelp
The reopened Atlas is no better than it was before. The food was good, but that's where it ends. The menu was unimaginative. They have a sparse spirit selection. They tend to skimp on the pours and compensate with loads of ice. It was the Worst Old Fashioned I've ever had. The replacement Neat order was thimble sized. I would not recommend for any occasion. If you're trying to impress out of town guests or friends, there are plenty of better restaurants in Pensacola
google avatar

Pat B.

Yelp
Monday night they have a .25 cent oysters on your first dozen. The place was packed at 5:30. Happy hour is from 4-6. The oyster special runs through closing. We enjoyed a few adult beverages and a couple dozen oysters. We did not order anything else but I would recommend The Atlas based on the bar service and oyster special!
google avatar

Yelp
Simply AHMAZING food, from the baked oysters down to the entrees. I had the Ginger-Crusted Chicken and the Hubs had the Famous Grits Ya-Ya. The dishes were both perfectly seasoned and paired with sides that complimented one another. If your in town for vacation definitely stop by they will not disappoint.

Yelp
Originally planned to eat at the neighboring Fish house, but we put our name in for first available for a party of 8. Oyster called us first and I'm not mad about it. Party all had different tastes and food limitations and they were able to please us all. My bf and I are foodies so we went all out. Started with oysters, not sure what they were called but they were baked with Parmesan cheese and served with baguette. I really like them, but I'm not a professional oyster eater ‍!! For the main I had the shrimp and grits. Holy Moley they were amazing. I would consider myself a pro grit gal and 100% recommend you order this. Calories don't count at the beach!!! Bf ordered stuffed flounder and he loved that as well!! Very fresh! Plus an extra side of hush puppies. Which were 10/10. Is it frowned upon to order grits and a side of hush puppies???? Asking for a friend.... Bar drinks were good and stiff, which was a plus for our party. I ordered wine, waitress was a little pushy about ordering the most expensive when I asked for a recommendation, but I get it. I ordered the Kenwood cab and it paired perfectly even with the heavier meal. Atmosphere was great. We came during a terrible rain storm, which prevented us from dining water front, but the inside was cute. My only confusion was random TVs in the dining room... just didn't fit the vibe. Service left nothing to be desired, she handled our roudy crowd well!! (Group of early 20-something's celebrating a bday) Our bill (me and bf): 2 drinks each, dozen oysters and 2 entrees and sides was right at $100 which was fine for us. I felt it was fair for location and level of service. Our friend had a bill for $14 after drinking water (lost his id on the beach ) and ordering a burger. So that shows you the range of this place. I would recommend for a casual but tasty dinner on the bay!!!

Sundy M.

Yelp
Absolutely horrible experience. Came here for date night and the server completely ignored us unless flagged down. The shrimp cocktail was awful. It was watery and no flavor. The flounder special was raw on the bottom. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. If you're looking at the pictures on here I'm here to say looks aren't everything.

Yelp
Absolutely love this spot and prices are great. Oysters are amazing of course. Seafood platter was so delicious and the price was great. Definitely recommend it with the collards.

Yelp
I am big fan of both Atlas and Fish House. When you are wanting quality items but with a chill atmosphere, try Atlas. First off... 25 cent oysters on Mondays! They were awesome in my opinion - not overly sea watery and plenty plump. My mom and I split the 'Dream Steam' meal which was like... so. dang. good. It came with 1.5 lbs of snow crab, 1/2 lb of shrimp and 1 lb of mussels. Oh and two sides. It was a TON of food, we could have easily split with another person. Everything was cooked nicely and not over seasoned to lose the natural flavors of the seafood. Another great part? The whole shebang was only 32 bucks! It was such a steal for the quality of the meal. If you are visiting during nice weather, definitely sit on the patio. The view is lots of fun. If not, saddle up to the bar and get knee deep into those oysters. Nom.

Yelp
The food was excellent. We had grilled oysters and they were cooked perfectly and had great flavor. We shared the seafood sampler with grilled tilapia, fried shrimp, fried oysters, Gouda grits & mac & cheese. The fried shrimp was the best fried shrimp I've ever had. It was not rubbery and the batter had good flavor. The grilled tilapia was my favorite part, it was cooked to perfection with light seasoning and some great tartar sauce. The oysters were good & the grits were the best I've had in a long time. The mac & cheese wasn't anything special but was still good. The service was excellent. Our server was attentive & knowledgeable. We will definitely come back when we are in the area.

Yelp
Great spot for some seafood! I really don't know the difference between this place and the next door (Fish House) because everything is about the same from the layout, interior/exterior, and the menu. I came on a Tuesday night where all the sushi (to include nigiri and sashimi) was half off so I went with a few sushi dishes. There are no good sushi places in Pensacola so I wasn't surprised that the food I got was bland. Why is it that sushi in every restaurant in Pensacola isn't good? We're right on the water. Anyway, there was nothing notable about the sushi except that it was cheap on a Tuesday. I did love one of their house brews (highly recommended) and service was impeccable. I also like how this place is open 7 days a week since most places around here are closed on Sunday and/or Monday. Bottom line is you can't really go wrong with Atlas Oyster or the Fish House.

Yelp
Based on a couple of reviews, I decided to make a stop here to try their oysters. This location was on my way to the hotel and was easy to find. The Atlas Fish House and Oyster Bar are in the same location and next door from each other. There were lots of parking in front and across the street from their location. I arrived there around dinner and it was a little crowded. If you are there with a few people, you can bypass the wait and sit at the bar. Monday nights are twenty-five cents per oyster, only for the first dozen. It's $10 after that. The oysters tasted fresh. My only complaint was tasting sand or something graining when eating some of them. Maybe they should rinse the oysters after being shucked.

Yelp
Service was amazing. Attentive and kind. Went above and beyond and we had a large part of 12. Food matched that energy for sure. We got the seafood tower. All the oysters. All the apps. Nothing was disappointing. Happy for atlas to be back and it's so good!!

Yelp
I absolutely loved everything that, I ate here. First off on Mondays they have .25 cent oysters for the first dozen per person. My wife and I got two dozen raw oysters for $6 bucks an absolute insane deal, I have never seen a better deal, thus far at any oyster bar, I have been too. We also ordered the baked oyster sample which included 4 imperial oysters which included blue crab and blue cheese, absolutely delicious. In addition, there were 4 Cajun oysters and 4 oysters loaded with a crawfish, pepper, onion, and cheese satay. I loved all three of the baked oysters and the raw oysters were just as phenomenal. For entree my wife ordered the spicy fish sandwich for $10, which included a nice sized piece of fish mahi mahi topped with fried onions and lettuce and tomato. The fish was blackened to perfection and the remoulade sauce complimented the sandwich nicely. We also ordered the shrimp and grits. The grits were cheesy and savory, I really enjoyed the grits, my kids could not get enough if the grits. The shrimp was blackened and complimented the grits nicely. Their Monday oyster deal simply cannot be beat, would come here often, if, I lived here.

Yelp
Zac the man will hook you up at the bar! This place is the best for oysters on Monday and sushi on Tuesday! Service is always awesome and the food is tasty! Remember ask for Zac at the bar! Good guy. Enjoy!

Yelp
I thought I posted this! Smh. This place deserves all the stars! This was my brief review when I was there. I had a couple of the mimosas, so maybe that's why I never got to posting it. LOL "Alex was our server and she was excellent! Got the Mahi Mahi with ginger-crust, Mac and cheese, and asparagus. Babe got grits and shrimp Ya-Ya. Bottomless Mimosas." The atmosphere was amazing. We sat outside at a table over the water. It was such a beautiful day! We were actually supposed to eat at the restaurant next door, but there wasn't enough seating. I was glad that we ended up eating here because it was much more lax and the food apparently was made by the same chef. Go figure. Lol. I was very impressed by the food representation and the taste. EVERYTHING tasted VERY fresh!!! That is the way I want my food to always taste. Otherwise, why go out?? Would I recommend? Absolutely! Will I be back? Absolutely! My boyfriend wonders how I can always remember this place and it's because it was just so freaking good and beautiful! Also, Alex was a doll!!!!

Yelp
Service, atmosphere, quality of food....can't say enough! So nice to get away from touristy restaurants on the beach. All six of us were plate cleaners. Five different entrees, all perfection! The sides make this restaurant a stand out. Smoked Gouda grits, black eyes peas, collard greens! You just can't go wrong here.

Yelp
Vacationing in Pensacola and wanted oysters so we went here! Not a long wait on a Saturday! I ordered the oysters sample, the gumbo, and the volcano sushi roll. Everything was amazing and the service was great as well.

Yelp
I enjoyed this place. Walked right up on a Saturday night and sat on the patio overlooking the water. Started off with the seafood gumbo. It was just ok, not that fishy, but just not a lot of flavor. I like mine with more spice. Pensacola oysters were fantastic. Not very salty, large and meaty. I think the gulf oysters are some of the best I've had. Crab stuffed shrimp wrapped in bacon was the entree. Need I say more?.....couldn't really taste the crab. But the shrimp was very fresh and grilled well. Bacon was a nice addition (because who doesn't like bacon?). Good spot, recommend you stopping by if in the area.

Yelp
I really liked this place. We came in for the Monday special - $0.25 oysters for the first dozen (per person). It was great. we also shared a sushi roll which was pretty average but I want to try the sushi again on Tuesday's when they have half price sushi!
