Google
Casual spot for whole pies or by the slice. Large selection of vegan plant based pies. Good crust.

I really love the Greek salad here. It could feed like, three or four people and is super dense. I like to get it and take it to work to eat over the course of half a week or so. The pizza is great too, and ambiance is perfect. They have RC cola on the soda machine. My wife thinks the crust is a weird combination of doughy/crispy. She’s not wrong, but the toppings/style of the rest of the pizza is so good, I can overlook the crust. One of the few places I’ll skip a crust.

Google
Big Joe is my favorite pizza for many years now and hits the mark every time. My husband and I have been coming and loving it since we were just boyfriend and girlfriend and we now have two kids who also love your pizza! Thanks for many memories and a safe spot to always stop for great food!

Google
Super good chicken shawarma pizza for pizza week! Great cook on pies! Best ranch in town!

Google
Great quick pizza. Went in not knowing what to expect. Got the meat option , do not know if that’s always the same. But it was great no flavor was stronger than the other and it didn’t sit heavy or was super greasy even being a meat pizza. Almost made me want a whole pizza to share.

Google
It can be pretty packed at peak hours but that's only because it's worth it! Great selection of pies and a solid drink menu too. Really friendly staff who handle massive dinner rushes well. This is exactly what you should be looking for if you want some NY style pizza as a great price. Slices go for 3.50-4 bucks usually and you can get a combo with a can of PBR included for less than 7. Hard to beat!

Google
Probably my favorite pizza in Portland, although that’s hard to really narrow down. All of their food is great. They have multiple locations so it’s convenient. Good service with good atmospheres at all locations. You can order by the slice or order a whole pie. The garlic knots are top notch. Top notch knots 😁. If you are visiting Portland and looking for a great pizza place you won’t be disappointed with Atlas.

Google
Some of the best pizza I've ever had, and I have had more than my share of pizza. The marinara sauce was nicely balanced and tangy and went well with the Three Little Pigs pizza, the BBQ sauce on the BBQ chicken pizza was perfect. A deep rich smokiness that is exactly what you want in a BBQ sauce, chicken was charred nicely from the pizza oven. Cheese pizza was extremely good as well, nice blend of cheeses. Garlic knots were delicious, both normal and stuffed with meatballs. Location and staff following social distancing and masking protocols. Will definitely be my go-to for pizza in the area.

Yelp
Pretty good pizza - only thing was it was a bit cold and the knotts came out pretty burnt. Service was nice !
google avatar

Yelp
The pizza slices were large and tasty. Good value. We bought 2 slices. Reheated when home and enjoyed.

Yelp
I enjoyed the amazing Pesto and Cheese Pizza with a side of House Ranch and Feta Crumbles. The Service I received was very inviting, they acknowledged me as soon I came in and answered my questions about the pizza and drink options. Definitely worth your visit!!

Yelp
The location on N Killingsworth is FANTASTIC! Great Service with a great staff and management. Great slice options and more

Yelp
The pizza is excellent and the stuffed knots always have me coming back for more! I tend to be someone who is very picky when it comes to sausage and I love the sausage at Atlas, so flavorful and delicious. We ordered ahead for pick up. Everything was ready when we arrived and the service was helpful and friendly. We decided to add on some Nico's ice cream when we saw it in freezer. It was the perfect dinner.

Jo B.

Yelp
Why is that guy so fine who works the lunch shift? He's got a shaved head and a super handsome face. The pizza is good too!
google avatar

Eddie C.

Yelp
I tried their chicken bacon pizza it was not good my dad said that Joe needs a little bit more oil or wet but I will not go there again I learned my lesson of not going there again didn't like the garlic nuts didn't like the salad but I did like they're cold water and they're cold writing Coca-Cola and I do not recommend at all

Yelp
Pizza has traveled a bit since I last had some. I think my tastes have changed. And I can not explain why or how. But Atlas has always been friendly and tasty and convenient. They will fill up that hole in your leg.

Yelp
My only complaint (ok more than 1 but they stem from this 1) is their web site isn't updated. So the hours listed are incorrect. there is no mention that they are NOT doing in house dining at this time. And there were a couple of menu differences. Having said all that, The pizza was really pretty darn good. Great even. We got a slice of cheese, a meat slice and a veggie slice and took those to enjoy in the car while we waited for our large Croghan (Marinara, mozzarella cheese, sausage, salami, green pepper and olive) to be cooked. The counter guy was really nice and brought it out to us when it was done. A nice cs touch for sure. 1st off the cheese slice had a nice sheen of oil that you get with using good cheese and it was stringy too. The veggie was a nice flavor and the wife enjoyed the meat slice. It was apparent that the crust had flavor of it's own not cardboardy at all. The Croghan pie was also pretty darn good. I'm not a pepperoni fan so finding pizzas designed around salami is a way to make my taste buds happy. I'm not going to say that they've replace any of our favorite pizza joints, but their being relative close to home means we will come back here again. A little wiser, better prepared, and ready to enjoy the offerings.
google avatar

Yelp
Good pizza. Chewy crust. I had the veggie, others had pepperoni and cheese. Friendly staff. Cool joint. Good pizza. I'd come back.

Yelp
I just recently started to work at the Cascade PCC campus. I went to this place to get a slice of pizza and salad. Seems like every time I go it's mobbed with high school students though. I don't always feel like waiting through all of that. I will say that one time when I was there the lady knew I wasn't part of the crowd and quickly got me my slice. Much appreciated. I'm sure I'll be eating there again on a somewhat consistent basis. I'll try and get better timing!
google avatar

Jack R.

Yelp
It was pretty good but oml can you bring down the prices? There are kids at Jefferson that come here. They shouldn't have to pay that much. Around 15-20 dollars for a gluten free pizza. Bring down the prices.

Korina K.

Yelp
We usually order a pick up order and it was on time and super delicious! Love the combo of pizza and salad and garlic knots are dang good.

Yelp
Going to see Ritchy Mitch and the Coal Miners at the Polaris. Tummy started growling and what was right down the block but Atlas Pizza which reminds me off Sy's Pizza down by the U of O. Good ole' NY style pizza. This is in an old part of NE Portland by Jefferson High. It feels like NY here minus the east coast accents and attitude. The people were great and they are playing a good punk playlist on the airwaves. What a great way to start the night with my beautiful daughter and the RMCM band!

Yelp
Showed up an hour before close during pizza week and got 2 philly cowboy slices. Killer pizzaaaa and fantastic service! The crust was the purrfect kinda chewy and crunchy. Vira was so kind, helpful, and a lovely human. Will definitely return for the kindness and the pizza! Thank you, Alice

Yelp
This is one of my favorite pizza places in PDX to offer vegan pizza. Every time I go, I get the vegan margherita which comes with vegan cheese, sliced tomatoes, basil, and lots of garlic! The crust is thin and is always nice and crispy - but not burnt. The pizza is expensive ($20 for a small vegan pie) but in my opinion, it's worth it!
google avatar

Erin D.

Yelp
great pizza for a reasonable price! love the garlic knots and a classic cheese pizza.

Samir R.

Yelp
Would have loved to try their pizza except they just refused to confirm the order for 40 minutes, and never responded to the delivery service. So we waited an hour for dinner and apparently they canceled the order, but didn't tell anyone until the driver showed up to get it. And they hadn't even closed yet. Well I won't be trying this place I guess, and won't make the effort next time I'm in Portland. Nice job guys, way to leave potential new customers hungry with nothing to show for it.

Yelp
Atlas on N. Killingsworth is turning it out! I've ordered a few different pizzas... each has been so so good. Cheese and toppings are fresh, nicely proportioned. The red sauce is a little sassy spice. The dough is fragrant, it's got excellent stretch/texture/chew... plus they box a mean Caesar with crisp romaine, lemon wedges and a house made dressing (OMG) that's a garlic/parm (paste) masterpiece. The regular (not stuffed) knots are buttery+seasoned bites of yum... and it's those knots with that Caesar that can sideline the pizza. Which is fine, because the slices reheat perfectly on a cast iron plate later on. But the best part about the Killingsworth location; the super-sweet folks behind the counter... always with a warm, friendly welcome and taking care to make it nice and make it super tasty every time :)

Yelp
Lackluster service, half baked pizza ideas and quality. The music is always too loud, and the place is filthy. 9 out of 10 times when I have been to Altas on Killingsworth, the staff acts like they don't want to be there, and they could care less about providing any sort of service. The pizza seems like it's been sitting out for hours for slices, and the place seems like it hasn't been dusted since the 1990's. I absolutely understand that this is more of a pickup or delivery only joint, however, for the few patrons who come in to eat at the location, it would be nice to be able to have a conversation without yelling over the tinny stereo system while the crew chatting in the back are ignoring everyone who comes to the front counter. The knots are ok. The pizza is so so. There are other options in the area, I would suggest checking them out if you have the time to go the extra mile or so.

Yelp
Another pizza place that participated in Pizza Week and located on Ne Killingsworth area. I like this place as they are quick with their service and quick with getting the slices out. The place gets a lot of foot traffic as it is near a couple of schools. The special slice today was the Mellow Mood. This consisted of Caribbean jerk chicken, passionfruit bbq sauce, pickled mango, and red onion. The slice was pretty creative and the flavor was decent, but not too strong. The place is narrow, but long and has a good amount of seats. They also have stuffed knots, which is a plus and a must try.

Yelp
The food is delicious. One of my favorite pizza spots in Portland. However the last few times I have gone to this location my order has been wrong. Either they forget/put the wrong topping on my pizza (I did a build your own with multiple toppings, one being onions and they put olives instead of onions, I hate olives) or they give me the wrong salad, a salad with no dressing, etc. I really enjoy the food but have had better experiences at the other locations. I feel like they just don't read the orders well when putting them together
google avatar

Yelp
The pizza was flavorful with some unique combinations. The small salad was more than enough for one. Nice outdoor seating. Decent beer and cider selection.

Yelp
Moved out of NE Portland to advance my education and OmG I miss this place so much!!! Especially the knots!

Yelp
I cannot get enough of their garlic knots and pizza rolls! Seriously the BEST in the city and so underrated - no one knows to order them!! My favorite pizza rolls are either the meatball (which is more of a ground beef/marinara mix instead of a singular meatball) or the pesto and artichoke. I've tried the other flavors but the jalapeno is too spicy for me and the ones with bacon are a bit salty... but maybe that's your jam! I recently got to try the soy curl BBQ flavor and it was definitely a sweet BBQ instead of a smoky BBQ, FYI. My only wish is that you could order custom pizza rolls... or that they invent a flavor with beef, mushrooms, and olives... but I can see how that could get complicated, so I'm happy to stick to my meatball and artichoke favorites!

Carmillia W.

Yelp
Great service and great pizza!! Delivery time was excellent and so was the Pizza. Thanks Atlas!!

Yelp
Ok, for serious though, down and dirty classic pizza joint BUT with new age flavor combos and vegan options‽ This place is my neighborhood dream come true. So I lived blocks away from the Killingsworth location for 2 years and came almost weekly to enjoy the flavor of the week. These folks are fun and friendly and care about what they do. You can call ahead or drop in for a slice. Either way they have reasonable prices for amazing pizza and a few good other options like homemade cookies and garlic knots. Lucky for me when I moved to the east side I still have one close on Foster. Thank you Atlas for being a unique and feel good option in a see of pizza joints.

Yelp
With the untimely demise of Eddie's Flat Iron Pizza, this neighborhood was in dire need of a pizzeria. Somehow our house was just outside of the delivery zone for both Pizza Hut and Dominoes so we couldn't even get trash pizza when we really needed it. But now with the new Atlas location opened up, this house is starting to feel like a home. I always liked the Atlas down on Division, in fact they had my favorite pizza for pizza week two years ago. I am overjoyed that they are now so close by. When they opened up they sent all the neigbors some great coupons that we promptly took advantage of. For $30 we got a large Apollo, garlic knots, and spinach salad. Definitely enough to feed four hungover people. With the new location they've also greatly increased their delivery range. Now for a paltry $2, they deliver to nearly the entire inner and nothern east side.

Grady H.

Yelp
Their pizza and knots are delicious however their delivery is more than disappointing. Placed order at 6pm and promised to be received by 730. Received our meal at 845. Saving grace was the employee who was sweet and kind when I asked about order.

Yelp
Surprised there aren't more reviews of this place. When I went they had several different pies, ready to be ordered by the slice. Sorted by veggie, vegan, and multiple meat options, a slice was around 3 or 4 bucks. The guys working here were super friendly. They had a couple of TV's on with the Sunday night football game. Draft PBR's were only 2 bucks, and they had an assortment of hot sauces at your disposal. The best part of the pizza is definitely the crust, this is more of the thin NY style slices, and they were cooked more to a medium well, just how I like it. The hardest part was deciding which slice to pick. The veggie and vegan pizzas definitely looking appetizing in that window.

Julio E.

Yelp
I've been coming to atlas on Killingsworth since they first opened. They were handing out free slices on Albina and Killingsworth, that was the first time I had ever tried NY style pizza and it was delicious, this gave me motive to try out the new pizza spot right by my house. I've always been greeted with warming smiles, and excited welcomes, hospitality of this pizza joint is over the top, honestly. The best way I can describe the inside of the place is like a 90's vibe. They sell by the slice and also whole pies, garlic knots, stuffed knots, and they also have vegan options. Awesome place in my opinion, check it out if you're ever in the area or want to check out a new pizza spot!

Mike P.

Yelp
Good pizza. New York style. Not great pizza but pretty good. Good crust, not great but good. Great location, right across the street from the University and a very pleasant setting. Sausage could really use more spice. Pop it up to hot Italian sausage! I liked my pie but the price was really high and for less I think I can score better. But if I was a student at the University this would be a great spot if the sold slices, which I don't know if they do.

Yelp
This is a tasty pizza place and they offer Vegan options. We ordered a couple of large pizzas for staff at work and were unsure about Atlas as I had not heard of them before and they didn't have a ton of reviews on Yelp. The entire group commented on how tasty the pizza was and inquired about where we had gotten it from. The ordering experience was pretty easy at 1130 am - they answered in a friendly and professional manner. I had asked for delivery but they do not do delivery until after 4pm. No worries we picked up instead. The arrived and we all dug in. I was very pleased with the decision to order from Atlas, the crust was not too crunchy or soft, it contained a nice amount of flavor and the toppings indeed tasted fresh. I would definitely order from Atlas again!
google avatar

Sarah C.

Yelp
If you are unable to make and deliver a pizza then tell the person ordering that you are not accepting delivery orders at that time. Don't tell them a pizza will arrive in 45 minutes to not have it there 90 minutes later. Don't tell them when they call to check on their order that the delivery guy is out with it to have it arrive 20 minutes later to a home 5 minutes away. And for the love of God - get the order right. Wrong pizza delivered almost 2 hours after I called to order. My kid loves their garlic knots so I have given them chances. If this was the first time a pizza was extremely late, an order was wrong or the pizza was overcooked I could give them another chance. But it is not. They no longer have to be burdened with my pizza orders. Hire more people. Make your delivery area smaller. Don't work with every delivery service in town. Figure out how to get people off he product they ordered in the timeframe you promised.

Gary B.

Yelp
Great pizza! Service was fast and accommodating. We had the Demeter and the Pesto stuffed bread side and it was so good! Kids loved it, will be coming back again
google avatar

Shannon M.

Yelp
I ordered a pizza at 7:30. I called Atlas at 8:50 to see what happened and received a tepid response that the pizza is sitting there as the driver never showed up. A simple phone call would have been appreciated within the past 90 minutes. We will never order here again.
google avatar

Heather A.

Yelp
Placed an order for pickup at 11:42 with an estimated completed time of 12:12. Perfect. I get a text saying they'll let me know when my order is complete. I arrive at 12:15 but I didn't receive a text saying my order was complete so I waited in my car. It was lunchtime so maybe they were swamped I didn't mind waiting a little bit more. 15 minutes later I call and check on the status of my order and they automatically place me on hold. When they pickup the phone I asked about the status of my order. They tell me "oh yeah your order is ready" I tell them I never got a text to which they reply "oh, well yeah it's ready". I guess they forgot to update their system. Luckily I was already outside so I was able to pick it up right then. I ordered (and paid for) a cookie but they said they didn't see it. I pushed back and they're like "oh, yeah I see it now". By the time I got back my lunch break was almost over. Took a bite of the pizza and it was cold...I had to reheat it myself. $30 for food that is meh and terrible customer service. I will never spend my money here again.
google avatar

Yelp
Solid, fast and pretty inexpensive. I've run through here with students from PCC and the staff at Atlas Pizza is always friendly and the food is solid. This isn't your fancy pants pizza place- more of a working humans pizza joint if that makes sense to you. Full disclosure-I have only had salads when visiting but my pals grab a slice or the garlic knots and are always pleased. The vibe is total pizza joint which makes for a relaxed low key meal. I always love the music they play and be sure to visit the back for some nostalgic gaming.
google avatar

Kelly And Sam S.

Yelp
This is by far my favorite pizza place; and since pizza is one of my favorite foods, this is just all around one of my favorite places to eat. The food, the location (one of my favorite neighborhoods in Portland), and the staff (never has there been a cooler, friendlier set of folks in a restaurant), all coalesce to form worthy venue. The garlic knots and marinara, the massive salads, the pie of course, my favorite being "the garden of earthly delights" with vegan cheese (p.s. their vegan cheese is the best I've ever had). Really though, for me, what truly makes me keep coming back is the staff. They are all so friendly and wonderful, most of all Marilyn! She has been so effing amazing to me and my family! Marilyn, you and your pals are the special ingredient here! So to anyone interested, stop in and grab some dang pizza. It's worth it. -Sam.

Yelp
I carry the weight of my hunger on my back. Or so atlas did when he thought of this pizza. The place itself isn't too shabby and Green Noise records is just a few doors down. The Pac-Man table and few pinball machines are a nice touch, but let's be honest people should come for the pizza. The pizza itself was very soggy and nothing exceptional. I've definitely had worse dough. I only ordered pepperoni, but it was absolutely saturated in grease. Thankfully I'm out of my teenage years. There was no texture until I got to the end crust. 3 stars for Galaga. Pie till you die.

Jung K.

Yelp
I'm torn. The $27 I paid for the huge ass pizza (same size as a Costco pizza. HUGE) wasn't too bad but man, it was salty as all get-out. I was chugging pints of water an hour after I had downed two slices. The saltiness of the pizza overpowered the crust and I couldn't really tell what was what. Lines were a bit long (only because we showed up with a party of 40 people.....kid's soccer club group. Sorry!) but we called in our pizza to go about an hour beforehand so our pizza was ready to go when we showed up. Good customer service overall. My beef is mainly with the salty pizza. I mean, yeah, $27 for a pizza is rather overpriced but considering other craft pizza joints charge as much for the same amount (except Life of Pie. Their pizza is $5 most of the time. Smaller, but two of those is about the same amount of pizza at Atlas. That said, it doesn't apply to anything but their Margherita) I think their pizza is just ok. Nothing mind blowing and nothing that seems like a crazy deal. Just ok IMO
google avatar

Roy N.

Yelp
I am aware that these pics are unflattering... and they don't do this pizza justice. Man, this pizza.... Top of the heaps for NY-style.... The red-sauce trends heavily towards an herb-infused savory-side. The mozzarella might be the one thing i could criticize for cheapness... everything else is perfect... nice, crispy, semi-charred crust... also chewy... monster slices... they were reheated but still categorically delicious... so I can imagine; this will be the place I hit the next time I order a pie fresh. I will come back here and try again.
google avatar

Cronk C.

Yelp
It's... Okay. The descriptions sound fantastic but the pizza just comes out a little off. And it's stupid expensive. Far more than it's worth. There are much better pizza options, even in the same area.
google avatar

Ahlam A.

Yelp
I've been stopping by this place very often for lunch because I go to school at PCC, so it's pretty convenient. Absolutely love the vegan pizza! So far, my favorite place to get a yummy vegan slice has to be at Atlas pizza. I've had vegan pizza from other places, but nothing as good compared to here. I've always had good customer service, my food is ready on time and it's fast, plus the music and vibe is hella dope.

CandV B.

Yelp
I don't eat pizza very often but when I do I want good pizza. Not run of the mill pizza. This is eat all the pizza including the crust dipped in ranch dressing kind of pizza! This is delicious, fresh, hungry for more kind of pizza! This is what fun toppings am I going to order on my next pizza kind of pizza! Oh and their ranch is really good which is always a bonus for me!

Melinda C.

Yelp
These meatball pizza knots were super tasty but raw-ish on the inside. The dough tastes fresh, the meat filling is well seasoned but the doughy inside seemed like a bit a bummer. And the salad is great too! Still pretty darn tasty though!!!!
google avatar

Brandon M.

Yelp
Great pizza, great service, made to order salads! Not to mention the solid beer selection and the garlic knots....love the knots!! A welcome addition to the neighborhood with pinball, tv's and a good vibe with good tunes playing!
google avatar

Katy S.

Yelp
Ordering through their online portal was super easy. Once the order was placed, they called me to let me know how long it would take because it might take a little longer given they had one driver and multiple orders at the time. We also ordered a ton of food (very stoned and excited about the idea of pizza). The food still showed up earlier than they said, the driver was so friendly and (and drove a Subaru, which is rad) AND the food was good! Good service overall. 10/10 recommend.
