Atomic Omelette & Grill

The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. My issue was specifically with the food: I ordered the Salmon Eggs Benedict and a waffle, and while the Benedict was cooked well, it really didn't have any seasoning to add to the flavor. In addition, the syrup served with the waffle was coagulated, so the syrup behaved more like an egg white (slimy and chunky) so I didn't eat much of the waffle.

Mimosas are over priced for quality. Food is over priced for quality.. The omelette was cooked perfect and the potatoes were delicious. The toppings for the omelette weren’t to my expectations especially for the price. Atmosphere is good, Super, super clean (absolutely love that) the organization around the restaurant is great, The decor is nice and neat. Staff is friendly. 7.5/10 over all experience. Good for a one time experience!

Food, service and atmosphere was great! My wife and I took our daughter on a vacation to visit the beach and this ended up being our breakfast spot as well as any future visits. It's a order at the counter self seating service, the wait was expected to be 30 minutes for food but we got it within a 10 minute threshold after ordering both times we went. The cooks know how to keep things flowing and everyone was pleasant to be around. 😁 10/10 will go again.

Atomic Omlette is the best place in town for Breakfast. Omlettes 🍳 ☕️, Pancakes, 🥞 Waffles 🧇, and it is under new ownership making sure that everything is great for you. It is definitely my favorite restaurant for coffee, breakfast, and brunch. You can build your own omelette just the way you like it. Delicious 😋

This is a good place to get breakfast. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. Service is alright and there are lots of seating options.

I got the atomic omelet with a biscuit. It was delicious! And the service was excellent, and the food came to our table so quickly! Will definitely be back to try other things on the menu!

This place is cute for Sunday morning brunch. I did think it was odd that it took 10 minutes for someone to come by and ask about our drinks. Seems like the fountain should be self serve - seems like it would make the staff’s life a bit easier. Thank you Crystal for filling our drinks repeatedly and serving us efficiently. The food was very good and filling. I was glad I got the extra side of bacon. The Three Amigos Omelette was thoroughly enjoyed by my boyfriend.

Would have been 5 if it had wait staff. Essentially, you have from the time you get through the line to know what you're ordering at the counter. The online menu and the printed menu don't match up. After sitting, we waited for about 30 minutes before we got our waters. The food was good. The potatoes were definitely the star of the 2 dishes. The French toast on the other hand- delicious!

This place I rate it a 2 because the customer service wasn't great at all. The only nice person that gave us some kind of hope is the waitress. From the time my family and I walked in the hellos was dry. The worst part this was my family and I first time here and seems like the cashier was annoyed because of questions we was asking concerning the menu. Afterward there was another worker not sure what her position was but she was extremely rude asking us a question like are we all together and we stated yes to tell us to move to the other side so she can assist the other customers. She didn't even greet us or assist the other cashier/worker to see if she need some assistance. Finally we sat at our table the area was not clean. There was eggs on the floor. The environment made my family feel unwanted as customers. Now let's get to the food. It was fresh but my omelette was drenched with butter. The butter drip out of the omelette that covered my plate and my toast. I couldn't taste what was inside the omelette because it was toward the end of the omelette, I finished the meal not pleased. This omelette wasn't that close to satisfying my hunger at all. Now the pancakes they were huge and done well Especially the blueberry pancakes. If you are out of town this place will not be our choice due to the service that was given. My advice to the workers there, makes sure you greet your customers. Make sure if it is the customer first time there no what you are talking about concerning the menu and not be all Over the place with your choice. And be excited about how you present the menu to your customers. When you are uncertain it makes the customer uncomfortable and not want to come back. Please keep area clean and thank your customers for coming to your establishment.

This is a very biased review given that I can only comment on 1 menu item but it is EXTREMELY important for my vegan friends in Corpus. Have you been craving a vegan pancake in CC? Well you're in luck because Atomic Omelette has what you're looking for. I'd rate the pancake 8/10 for flavor and consistency. I love how big 1 is...it's massive! Be sure to order the regular "pancake" with the vegan substitute, as the "atomic pancake" has whipped cream and other toppings. ENJOY VEGANS!

This place is excellent! We make it a point to have breakfast here every time we visit the beach and no matter what we order, always satisfied. Hearty portions, attentive service and never feel rushed to hurry. Coffee refills at the ready. Price is decent. For quality, think of your favorite diner - they are not trying to be a 5 star destination and that's fine. It's great for this tier of food! Favorite is atomic omelette.

First time here, We ordered our food at 11:50am didn't get our food until 1:10pm. (Just a table for 2) Very subpar food. Over priced drinks

When you walk in you order your food at the counter and get a number for your table. It's definitely more of a causal type place. They do have waitstaff that will bring you the drinks and your food. I ordered the veggie omelette and subbed the tomatoes for jalapeños. It was really good and the serving sizes were generous. Prices were about average for the area too.

This is one of my favorite places to eat! Everyone is so attentive and nice! The food is ALWAYS GREAT! The ambiance is perfect enough to have a convo and there are also plenty of photo ops for your social media!

Went in today...after being away for a few months because of a bad experience (burnt pancakes) and sausage! But decided to give it a try again... Ordered what I usually did...The Herschall Bfast (protein pancakes...egg whites and sausage). Today...VERY GREASY AND VERY THIN PANCAKES. Who in their right mind enjoys greasy pancakes??? Horrible to say the least! Also found out they have new owners. Previous ones would never have allowed this. I DEFINITELY WONT BE BACK!!!

Atomic Omelette deserves some credit where it is due, and in my opinion, most of it comes from transparency in keeping with its namesake - they do in fact serve up some pretty amazing omelettes. I've been here a number of times over the years, and have received a wide range of service quality, both before, during and after the pandemic. However, today it was fantastic! For the first time I was able to easily order my omelettes à la carte, making my brunch both affordable and optimally nutritious. Surprisingly, their prices have remained fairly stable despite the recent dramatic increase in egg prices. Perhaps most who dine here are not coming for the protein? Who knows. In any event, if you're in Corpus and on the Southside and are looking for a nice all-day breakfast/brunch spot, this place is worth checking out. I happen to live down the road, so I plan to start coming here more often, for sure!

Always clean. You order at a counter and then seat yourself. Service is usually pretty quick. The atomic omelette is so good and always spicy. Highly recommend.

Very good food & wife loved her Bloody Mary. Manager was extremely friendly (MaryBeth). Only problem, took long time to get food (almost an hour) but we weren't in a rush. They were also busy too. We'd come back (if not in a rush)

First time visitor to Atomic Omelette. I was pleasantly surprised by this place tucked at end of a strip center. After a short wait in line to order our food, the order was delivered pretty quickly to our table. Pancakes were big and delicious, eggs were cooked perfect. Only negative was slightly overcooked bacon. Definitely will come again.

No thanks. Hard pass. We walked out. Between the toilet smell, the dirty appearance of the lady taking our order, and the same lady's attitude and apathy to our being there - nope. Idk how this place has a good rating on Google. Although if you scroll the most recent reviews some people have given 1-2 stars for similar reasons. Gross.

The hospitality is great! The staff is so friendly! Shoutout to our waitress, Crystal! The food is nice, and it comes out fast! The hawaiian french toast was unique and delicious!

Very disappointed by today's service. They told my family that we were not able to eat at this restaurant because it's closed. They said they close at 1:00 PM, but I showed them that it was 12:45PM. The girl up front said well we already started cleaning and the grill is off. That poor management, if you are open to 1:00 PM, you should serve customers that walk in before 1:00 PM. We felt embarrassed and disrespected since there were several customers still sitting and eating and waiting for meals.

We are originally from Hawaii and we wanted to see what this place was all about. We were driving back from Port Aransas and was looking for a new breakfast place to try. This popped up on my feed and was super interested to see what it was about. My bacon omelette was very tasty, but the red potatoes are spicy! I have the taste buds of a 6 years old so anything spicy makes my mouth burn. The biscuit was pretty tasty as well. The loco Moco was okay. An original Loco Moco should consist of white rice. The Rice Pilaf is never served with a true Hawaiian meal. The flavors for the loco Moco were there and this is why I am giving it 4 stars. The Hawaiian French Toast literally taste like a piece bread dipped in Frosted Flakes and then cooked. It was still good but not true Hawaiian sweet bread. I feel the names for these items are very misleading. The service was excellent! I liked how fast we were able to get our drinks and the food came out after about 7 minutes of sitting down. I chose to give them a 4 because of their service plus the food was still good.

Breakfast date with my daughter. Plenty of seating and was pretty clean. You order at counter and we had no problems with that. My daughter got the kids pancakes and loved it. I ordered the Hawaiian French toast it was very good and was definitely different. All staff was very friendly and kept checking to see if we needed anything. Very great time and will be going back.

This place has a nice atmosphere. Brunch Vibes TVs to watch sports it's cool. I like the omelettes here and French toast. The service was good to everyone was attentive. I will be back!

ok the only thing good on the menu is the hawaiian french toast. please go eat that. the way they have you order at the counter is super inconvenient, especially when they're busy.

Yesterday I went to go eat at Atomic Omelette, I was told that they were closed and it was only 12:45. I really wanted to eat there but the girl in the front register told the young lady in the front to tell me that the grill was already turned off and they were no longer cooking any food cause they were closed. The young lady apologized and looked at the girl at the register. The manager was a young man and he also said that they were closed . I was very upset cause it wasn't even 1:00 yet. You need to hire a better manager and a better register girl. I believe the young man was a manager he was sitting at the bar. I've eaten there before and the server Laura is always very friendly and nice the times that I do go eat there.

Just ordered. The coffee is great. The sitting area is huge compared to the last location. They also kept the outdoor area, that's nice. Let hope the food is also great. The food was delicious, but the potatoes on my husband's plate were bland. The omelets were fabulous. Fresh fruit was juicy and tasted like it should. Staff was attentive. We enjoyed and look forward to returning. I like that we ordered at the counter before sitting. Makes for fast service.

Ordering process is like mcdonald's with a very long menu on the wall in small print. There are menus at the counter, but by the time you get up to the counter and get offered one because no one can read the wall, you have to let someone else in front of you to give you time to read the menu. Can we just get some service please???? Also- the cook cannot make poached eggs- medium means hard boiled to them.

Service is fast, restaurant very clean, a lot of tables seated. The omelettes are good and it's always great to try local dives. Would I recommend it? If you are seriously hungry and need a hardy meal, this wouldn't be the place. The omelette portion is small and the filling such as bacon, sausage or ham is very little. The price is a bit high but then again, assumed because of the name of the restaurant that I would be getting a lot for the bang!

Just because of coincidence came here on Mother's Day. No wait if ate at the bar. Started off with cutie mimosas with a creamsicle inside. So creative. Had the Hawaiian French toast with bacon. My guest an omelette with a blueberry pancake. Excellent and friendly counter service. Will be back.

Love coming here. The owners are amazing people. The food is wonderful and they'll make anything you're not happy with right. Their Atomic Sauce has to be one of the best hot sauces that I've ever tasted. I would buy it if it came in a jar.

This place was pretty good, but could have been way better with some adjustments. First, it's walk up ordering, but there's only one register and they had the same girl working the register also making drink orders. We were waiting in line over 30 minutes to place our orders. After we placed orders, we were on our own to find a seat. The food and drinks came right away for one half of our party snd the rest of us we're waiting quite a while longer. My favorite part was the mimosa pitchers which also had popsicles and fresh fruit. I will definitely be trying that at home.

Ordered Crabcake Benedict - lots of yummy crabmeat. Didn't know fries & English muffin came with it or I would have told waitress to hold off those. Husband ordered Philly Cheesesteak that was loaded with thinly sliced rib-eye steak. He said it was great. Only negative thing was the restrooms, both men's & ladies were dark with peeling yellow paint. My father said - restroom of restaurant is a reflection of the kitchen. Brighten & freshen up your restroom.

Still not impressed. We had the Hawaiian French Toast and Bacon Gravy over biscuits. Bacon gravy has no bacon and no flavor. French toast is just toast with cereal on it. Two thin slices of bread with a single tub of butter and way too much syrup. The table service was better but there were only 10 people in the restaurant. This was my second and last time here. Don't waste your time and money.

The wait staff was very friendly and helpful however the owner was rude and unsanitary. The owner told us we could not put tables together to stay our large party despite many empty tables. One member of our party got his food about 45 minutes before the rest of our party. We watched the owner try and fail to efficiently expo food. We also watched her sneeze and now her nose multiple times and go right back to expo food without sanitizing her hands. I can see why they were not packed at lunch on Sunday. The owner also tried to box up our food for us while we were still eating because they needed our large table and they were not allowed to push tables together. Multiple staff members told us they were afraid to ask her about the rest of our tables food because she would yell at them for questioning her, which we witnessed several times during our meal.

I've had several omelets and they were all amazing. Plenty of food with great quality and value. Absolutely must to stop and enjoy. The only thing I don't like is ordering at the front, then sitting down.

I was having breakfast at 8am, food was good, but a cook started ringing the order bell constantly, and loudly. It was very annoying and loud; he kept ringing the bell, and the female owner never told him anything. Good food, terrible ambiance at 8am; looking for a peaceful quiet place to have breakfast.

Although I did takeout, I will say we had a great experience. The customer service was extremely friendly since the man at the counter started talking to us and we connected over similarities in life and talked much about the state of the world. The food didn't take long to come out and it was really enjoyable. I loved the French toast and I plan to go back for more...

Like the build your own omelettes. Comes with toast, potatoes and fruit. You will definitely leave full. Service is quick and there's plenty of spaxe and parking at the new location. One of my favorite places to eat breakfast.

Excellent omelettes, but the coffee is horrible. The service is average-employees are not very friendly, but they do what they're assigned. The owner (thin, elderly lady) is not friendly at all! They always seem to be advertising for help-could it be that the working conditions are not that great in this place? Like I mentioned, the food is good, but that's about it.

Great service and delicious breakfast!! I was surprised to see they had my favorite Hawaiian Loco Moco so of course I had to order it and I'm glad I did!! So delicious and they used rice pilaf/ wild rice which made it even more tasty!! A must try!!

We've been here a few times and it was good but today was pretty disappointing. Chose the crab cake Benedict and I'm sorry I did. The crab cake was mushy and barely warm, topped with maybe a teaspoon of runny hollandaise. The poached egg was hard. The breakfast potatoes were like leftover baked potato wedges, barely warm. Yuck!

This place has been going downhill for years and today was the last for me. Each visit our meals are never correct leaving one or two having to watch and wait for their meal. Eggs are never fully cooked. Seems as if they rush to much. Fruit bowls are mostly rotten with very few eatables items left. The staff is unfriendly and service is very poor. This all adds up for the final price. Way to costly for a below average food. Again this will be our last visit. Good lucky!!

The food and service are great but it makes no sense to make people wear masks and some people not. Most are not wearing them right anyway. My problem is clearly there is no uniform rules so let the ones who know it's dumb, stop wearing them. All it tells customers is you don't believe they work but you want to pretend to care about it. I say if someone wants to wear one let them but don't force them.

Absolutely love this place! It has a different way of ordering;0) first you order your breakfast at the counter and then you look for a seat. They have a young staff which is really refreshing to see handing out the food and drinks, while the more mature staff handles the cooking and directing. The orange comes in a bottle, I like that they do that; not sure if because of Covid or just how they do things. But it's handing and I can take it with me if I don't finish before completing my meal. The potatoes come with this delicious flavor, kind of spicy but cooked perfect! The salsa was amazing and wish they sold it! The bacon was well cooked, I differently prefer this place for breakfast over the other place we tried. It's clean, friendly and not greasy!!!! All around win for me. Thank you for providing great service and good food!

Food was great! Not sure what some people are complaining about. Came out hot and fresh, place is clean and nicely decorated, and Crystal was a sweet server!

It wasn't busy when we arrived so we placed our order and sat down. We waited and waited for our food. We also noticed other tables waiting and over heard a server asking the kitchen how much longer because their table had been waiting over 30 minutes for their meals. We ended up waiting nearly an hour for our food which was only 2 plates. Unfortunately the wait was not worth it. The food is bland like not even salt or pepper was used. I had never added so much salt to my food at a restaurant before. The place has potential, it's a cute restaurant and the menu sounds good but they just need to season the food and be quicker.

I never write reviews and started an account just because of how bad this place was. Got here about 1PM, actual closing time is 3PM not 4PM as it is advertised most places. But still plenty of time for lunch. The place was dead, one group of maybe 5 wrapping up and us. The floors, tables and chairs were visibly dirty. We had to ask for a bar towel to get our table clean. Service was atrocious. The gal at the cashier station was very rude. Multiple staff standing around goofing off and it still took us asking for our drinks again and a solid 10 mins or more to get them. We had to ask multiple times to get our entire order. Example: ordered the side salad, came with no dressing, had ordered a side of gravy and had to ask for that again, etc. According to my mom the omelette was good and flavorful but more of a scramble. The potatoes were bland and dry. The orange in the fruit cup isn't even peeled. I ordered the taco salad and they didn't include the avocado. They used so little dressing you couldn't taste it or mix everything up. The bowl was 90% romaine cut so large you couldn't get to anything else. Had to add salsa just to keep it from being dry as the Sahara. The chicken was well cooked and flavorful but they didn't even fully cut the pieces so I was ripping them apart the whole time. It wasn't actually a taco salad at all, more of a Tex-Mex chicken salad and not entree sized for $14. It was a salad, just no taco, a literal ring of tortilla chips along the rim! Frankly the whole place gives off the vibe that they are losing money hand over fist and cutting corners everywhere possible to save a buck. One of those places that doesn't seem like it'll be around for much longer. Service was terrible, food was not great - and $40 for 2 people.

Food service and price all reasonable. Great place to take the spouse for that type of breakfast
