We had the most incredible experience with Traci at Atrium Kitchen in Pike Place Market! We joined her farm-to-table class inspired by the Impressionist art period, and it was truly remarkable. Traci is not only a talented chef but also deeply knowledgeable about both art history and the history of the market itself. She makes conversation flow effortlessly, weaving together stories, flavors, and art in a way that is completely captivating. And the food? No notes. Absolutely perfect. It was such a treat to see the artwork that inspired the evening’s menu and to learn not just about the craft of the dishes, but also the artistic movements behind them. The experience felt as educational as it was delicious. As locals, we especially appreciated how Traci sources from Pike Place Market vendors and other local producers. It is exactly the kind of community connection that makes Seattle special. We will definitely be trying out her tips and recommendations at home, and we cannot wait to bring friends next time! A must-do experience if you get the chance! Traci’s radiant energy and passion make this an unforgettable evening!

Farm to Table dinners are magnificent! Chef Traci brings rich French recipes to life with local produce, historical context, and great conversation. We learned a lot about mussel preparation and herbs while enjoying the best lamb ever.

Market to Table with Atrium Kitchen was a wonderful experience—insightful market tour, great local vendors, and a thoughtfully prepared meal that truly highlighted the ingredients. Delicious, intentional, and community-focused. Highly recommend.

Husband and I attended Chef Traci's class on Mother's Day weekend 2025. We did a lot of great things in Seattle, but this was by far, our favorite. Not only is Chef Traci an extremely talented chef, she is kind, caring, witty and funny. We learned how to cook some beautiful food and found we did not want our time with her to end. We are from Canada and received an amazing welcome from Traci as well as all the other guests who happened to be locals of Seattle. Some of these guests were also repeat customers which should tell you how great this experience is. We took a large tour of the market, were able to shop at the vendors (with chef's discount at some!!!) and learned a lot of info about the market and history from Traci. We even got to catch a fish if we so desired. You MUST book this class if you are ever in Seattle. (I'm so sorry Traci that it took me this long to write this review!) Don't miss out on a fantastic experience at Atrium kitchen! Our tour & class with Chef Traci was the highlight of our honeymoon. She was amazing, she blew us away with her welcoming, kind spirit and provided a wonderful experience. Even after several days exploring the market, she showed us so much we had not noticed. We have had a wonderful trip full of adventures, but our class at Chef Traci's Atrium Kitchen was the most amazing value. We would recommend her to everyone and hope to come cook with her again next year!

I just returned home from them most amazing holiday event for my team with Chef Traci. Every detail, from appetizers, entrees, preparing the meal, and coordinating cooking a beautiful meal of paella and tapas with my team was extraordinary. The staff, the food, and the charm and guidance of Chef Traci created a beautiful holiday celebration. And we had leftover to take with us! Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday event! We hope to return for more delicious events in the future.

It was a privilege having the honor to spend our morning and afternoon with Chef Traci. She is a true inspiration and the Seattle Community is lucky to have her. My only regret is that we are leaving tomorrow and do not have enough time to visit all of the wonderful places she shared with us today. The experience was worth every penny and then some. We started our morning with an amazing tour of the market. Listen to me when I say, do not, I repeat do not eat before the tour. I was worried that the nibbles wouldn’t be enough to fuel my body. Turns out, I was filled to the brim by the end of our tour before the meal! The class itself was perfect, it was light. The recipes shared are easy and that’s coming from a girl that does not cook. Everything we learned I feel confident I could do at home. I loved learning about the various vendors in the market and the history behind it. What was most memorable was learning about Chef Traci and her story. I had chills learning about the impact she’s had on the Seattle community, donating over 50,000+ meals, helping the homeless and senior citizens all while making it through the pandemic, what an inspiration. My husband and I did this tour for our anniversary, we are only here for a weekend from Pittsburgh. I could not think of a better way to spend our time in Seattle. Thank you Chef Traci, I will be forever grateful that we were part of such a special experience not only getting to tour the market, but cooking with you.

We had the best time back in September 2024 with Chef Traci! Such a wonderful experience as she showed us around and explained much of the history. We had private tastings at multiple vendors that were all SOOOO incredibly great. Our lesson and meal were so fun AND DELICIOUS. I highly recommend for both locals or tourists, it's worth EVERY PENNY!!!!!! THANK YOU CHEF! can't wait to come back

Absolutely unforgettable! Our team booked a private team-building experience with Atrium Kitchen at Seattle's famous Public Market, and it was hands-down one of the most memorable, fun, and unique outings we've ever done. Chef Tracy is an absolute rockstar. She kicked off the day with a walking tour of Pike Place Market, weaving in local history while introducing us to some of the best vendors and food artisans in the city. Thanks to her incredible connections, we got to sample fresh bites and meet the people behind the food. And just when we thought it couldn't get better--she got me in to catch a fish. Yes, a real fish thrown at me in the middle of the market with a crowd watching. Talk about pressure--but I caught it! We brought all the ingredients back to Atrium Kitchen, rolled up our sleeves, and cooked an incredible meal together. The vibe was relaxed but energized--everyone was hands-on and having an absolute blast. Dinner was next‑level. We had a private dinner inside Pike Place Market after hours--total bucket‑list vibes. As a vegan, I was blown away by the care Chef Tracy took with my meal. She prepared this salad, elegant broccolini-chimichurri (actually something fancier than plain broccoli) and perfectly roasted potatoes--they were even better than most vegan meals I've had at restaurants. The rest of the team raved about the halibut, ribs, and other dishes that looked absolutely amazing. If you're visiting Seattle--or even if you live here--Atrium Kitchen at Pike Place Market is a MUST-DO. It's perfect for team outings, special celebrations, or just doing something different and utterly memorable. Chef Tracy makes you feel like a VIP from start to finish. Absolutely 10/10!

Came here for a corporate team event which was part tour of Pike Place and part dinner and cooking competition! it was a great way to bond with the team, all the chefs were polite, knowledgeable, and fun to be around. great instructors and very engaging tour. HIGHLY recommend! I will be back for a private event with my wife at some point!

I was born and raised in Seattle and Pike Place Market is one of my favorite tourist spots to go to. Somehow Traci still taught me so much about the market I thought I knew so well already. Her cooking class was a blast and I enjoyed every minute of it. There's something about gathering your ingredients straight from the market and cooking together with a fun group of folks. And to no surprise, the meal turned out delicious. Locals - don't think this is just for tourism! I would do this again and highly recommend it for birthdays, bachelorette's, and anniversaries.

Really fun and informative. Would probably not EVER go to Pike's without being on a tour because it is so chaotic. This was perfect. Chef and her crew were terrific hosts. I brought home new ingredients and new skills to try.

n Hawaiian, we say, "Mahalo a nui loa." This means more than just thank you, and comes from the most sincere place from 4 very different and unique people with equally different and unique tastes, to Chef Traci whose heart is as big as her passion for her craft. She took the time to ask each of us about the types of foods we like and love, and also those we do not like so much. Luckily, our group wanted high quality steak and seafood. What better place to shop for such delicacies! The experience began with an educational and cultural history lesson about the market and what we all know as Pike's Place. Her reputation among shop and stall owners is one of respect and friendship, shared amongst the family of business owners in the area. From fishmongers to the honey shop keeper, to the homemade tortilla shop, formage store, and fresh fruit and produce stall owners, it was clear that we made the right decision in choosing this cooking and dining experience with Chef Traci. Our menu started with a mini charcuterie plate with cheese kurd from Beecher's, and perfectly sliced prosciutto with truffle oil and sea salt seasoned hazel nuts. The fruit variety included fresh red and golden raspberries. The second course included king crab legs and grilled corn with cilantro, accompanied by a side of drawn butter. Our third course was meant to give our stomachs a brief respite via red leaf and frisee lettuce, with a blueberry, lemon olive oil, and sea salt dressing. We will definitely make this one when we return home. Our main dish was grilled off to the side while we prepared our food, ate, and shared stories and laughs the entire time! Two words. Medium. Rare. The only butcher shop at Pike's provided us with the highest grade and quality Tomohawk steak. Accompanied simply with fingerling potatoes and avocado, this entree was a tasty end to our culinary adventure. Mahalo a nui loa to you Chef Traci. For the food, laughs, and don't ever forget your "injection" into our lives will always be remembered. Aloha a hui hou, until we meet again...ALOHA!

Chef Traci is not only a phenomenal chef, but a wonderful person. Upon walking around Pike Place Market, we stumbled upon Traci filming a news segment on Atrium Kitchen. Intrigued, we picked up her pamphlet outside the shop and saw that she does cooking classes. For $150/person, we got Traci all to ourselves for a 1.5 hour historical tour of the market, and another 2 hours back in the kitchen. We picked up every ingredient with her at the market and learned the history of the vendors along the way. The food was world class Salmon, Scallops, Truffle salted carrots, a cheese board, and king prawns over a bed of grits and sausage. All in all... I think this was worth more like $200/person. It was a wonderful morning and I cannot suggest this tour more! Not to mention Traci was just truly wonderful in and of herself :)

Atrium kitchen was a lovely class! Very hands on and personable. Traci has amazing energy. We learned about scallops and how to make a cioppino :) seafood straight from the market - how lucky we were to learn in such a wonderful setting. You're truly at the heart of Pike Place. We both very much liked the fact that we walked in not knowing what we would make and that it was all based on what the fresh catch was. In this case, fresh black cod - not frozen prior but direct from a tribal fishery. Very delicious.

Yay for supporting local chefs! Atrium Kitchen does a phenomenal job with meal kits and carry out rivaling restaurants like Canlis where the flavors are wonderful, all meals come neatly packed and assembled, and there are easy printed instructions on how to reheat. We did a holiday kit and there was 1. very little preparation involved, which is great for our lazy, non-cooking lifestyle 2. deliciousness all around. The flavors were classic and yet somewhat surprising. The kit had pre-made beef wellington (basically fancy steak wrapped in mushrooms and dough) which was really delicious. A lot of the steaks I've gotten in Seattle are a bit flavorless when medium rare, but this one was delicious (and I'm not just saying that because of the dough or the mushrooms). There were also other fresh delicious courses like mashed potatoes, green beans, a gem butter lettuce salad, and an olive oil citrus cake. I have to give them extra kudos on the olive oil cake. Each bite was a little burst of subtle flavor so my tastebuds were never like "this is too much of the same" -- whether toasted pistachio, baked sugar, rum (I think it was?), or olive oil... and of course citrus. On a separate note, the portions were not too big and not too small. Will definitely use them again.

They are offering meals to pick up and either cook or just heat at home. I got two of the holiday meals. The elegant and the traditional. The beef Wellington, ham, the sweet potatoes and the salad were all delicious. The mashed potatoes and green beans were a little bland. The pistachio cake was wonderful but I didn't care for the bread pudding. Overall instructions were easy to follow and it makes a great holiday meal

We had a great time with Traci. We did the market tour and it was really interesting to hear all the tidbits she knew about the market. We made a fantastic meal and were stuffed when we left! Highly recommended

How can more people not being doing this? Look at all the 5 star ratings! I was in Seattle for less than 48 hours and wanted to find something unique to the area to do and I saw a cooking class, so I signed up. I signed up a few hours before it started and was expecting back that said I was too late. But nope. Not only did they accept me, but I was the only one there! It is located in the heart of Pike Place Market, so it's appealing to locals and visitors. They have a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen. It is designed to be a community resource, the kitchen is available for rent by community groups, individuals, chefs and Market vendors. They serve breakfast there and you can buy a pay it forward ticket. For $5 someone who is homeless or less fortunate can get a free meal. They have had over 90 vouchers cashed in already. I will admit, my intentions were to buy a couple and to buy a small container of hot sauce, and I left without any of it! UGHH. Just slipped my mind. I went for the class of seafood from the PNW. It was $75. I know that may sound steep to some but this was a 2 hour class where you get cooking lessons and eat what you cook. All fresh, local, hard to get seafood that you would spend over $75 at a restaurant for. I went knowing it would be worth my money and my husband was excited about me doing it so I could cook it at home for him one day. On to mistake number two that I made. She makes everything super simple, basic and few ingredients and she gives you the recipe. I left the recipe!!! She initially had an appetizer area set up for me. It had 7 different local honeys and a small plate of fresh goat cheese from the area that can only be obtained a couple of months out of the year and some fresh blueberries. My favorite was the wildflower honey. After good hygiene practice and apron application we headed to the stove and cooking area. She already had water boiling and eggs boiled. I am not a chef by any stretch of the imagination. As I told her, I do enough to keep my family alive. But I'm always willing and eager to learn. I'll admit I'm intimidated by those that excel with a knife but she continued to offer guidance and not seem frustrated. If I had kept my recipe like I was suppose to, I could list all the ingredients out for you, but hopefully you'll recognize most of them in the pictures. We made a salad with a type of romaine lettuce. Added some hard boiled egg, smoked muscle and smoked scallops. Listen, I am knew to experimenting with seafood and this was absolutely amazing. Melt in your mouth. Some heirloom tomatoes. Fresh crab meat, shredded. Some olives and some peppers that I can't remember the name of (so sorry). They added just a little heat. We made the dressing for it and I will not do it justice because I can't remember already, she'll have to post the recipe but it was light and refreshing and I could have ate it like soup. We made a plate of muscles in the garden. Fresh muscles that had been caught that morning and she bought just before my arrival. It was my first experience, cleaning, cooking and eating muscles. They were not slimy at all, like I had thought. More dense. The flavor from the water we boiled them in made them wonderful. We had the rest of the lemon that we used and fennel we cut off seeping flavor into the boiling water and it was amazing. We laid the muscles over a bed of thinly sliced red potatoes and red onions. We made our own version of a low country broil. It had fresh caught spotted shrimp with babies. Which I am told is a big deal. We put andouille sausage from a local market there. She cut the casing off before cooking, that alone, made it so much better for me. Then we had the baby potatoes and corn on the cob. You should have smelled the steam coming up when we were draining it...... Shout out to Herban Farm where she gets some of the stuff she uses. She let me try some of their hot sauce. The first one I tried was the Scotch Bonnet. This had a sweet flavor and a mild hot sauce. This was really good on the goat cheese. Then I tried the white bullet. This is made with a habanero and had moderate heat. Really liked this. He also experimented with some hot sauce in some of the honey. This was very interesting. All you taste at first is the honey, sweet. As soon as it is all gone from your pallet the heat kicks in and it really sneaks up on you. While I was eating the owner and lead chef gave me a history of how Atrium Kitchen came about. Fantastic way to get an insiders look at Pike Place Market and enjoy a cooking experience/lesson. We met up with chef Traci at her kitchen, discussed a Cinco De Mayo/fun menu of halibut cheek, prawn, salmon and poke tacos each with their own fresh salsas, and then set off into the market to shop for ingredients. She was professional, knowledgeable, and well regarded (by my observation) in the community that is the Market. She combined some history of the market with food, shopping and cooking suggestions. If you are fortunate, she will direct you to some of her chef favorite items and share her accordion joke. This was a long weekend in Seattle with a friend and the entire trip could have sucked and would have STILL been worth it after doing this tour/experience. (It didn't, but it could have) Highly recommend. This is a woman owned business that includes catering, cooking tours AND gives back to seniors and vulnerable folks in the community. DO IT!

I would absolutely recommend booking Atrium Kitchen - we had a really good experience. I've had the pleasure of working with Chef Traci, the owner of Atrium Kitchen a few times before professionally and they have always done a fantastic job. It was a no-brainer to use and trust Atrium Kitchen for our wedding day! It also made us so happy to work with her as we know that our money is helping her efforts in supporting the local elderly and homeless population. I could go on and on about Traci's charitable work but let's just leave it as she is an absolute gem of a human. Working with Chef Traci during the planning process was easy, her menu suggestions were delicious and spot on, and she was so accommodating. Chef Traci dropped off catering and some rentals for our rehearsal dinner and the food was plentiful and fantastic! We had such a wonderful experience working with Atrium Kitchen from beginning to end and can't wait until we can hire Chef Traci and her staff again. Thanks again!

Chef Traci gave us an amazing tour of the Pike's Place Market that included not only fascinating history, but Tasting stops at some of her favorite market vendors. After picking up fresh seafood, produce and artisan sausages, Chef taught us how to prepare a fabulous seafood boil, a roasted salmon filet with a honey ginger beer reduction, and mussels sautéed with fennel, parsnip and onion. So amazing

I can't say enough about the amazing experience we had with Chef Traci of Atrium Kitchen. We had some family in town and wanted to show them Pike Place Market. We did a 1x1 cooking class and a tour of the market that did not disappoint! She is incredibly knowledgeable both in a culinary and historical sense. We picked up fresh ingredients for the cooking class from various market vendors along the way and it was fun to see how many people Chef Traci knows in the market. I've lived in Seattle for well over a decade and learned more about Pike Place on this tour than I have during the entire time I've been here. The cooking class was exceptional. We made halibut and chicken with a cherry compote using all fresh ingredients from the market. Chef Traci made it a wonderful experience. This is a must do for anybody visiting or living in Seattle!

Chef Traci is the greatest! My wife and I were able to book an exclusive (covid safe) cooking class with Traci for our honeymoon trip to Seattle. She took us on a tour of Pike Place Market and pointed out all the best vendors for produce, meats, pastries, cheese etc. and we got to sample plenty of products along the way. Perfect for anyone who's interested in learning about the market's history and for foodies looking for a local chef's first hand knowledge on the area. After the tour chef Traci treated us to drinks, charcuterie, and showed us how to prepare a delicious meal, all from the fresh ingredients we collected at the market! Absolutely worthwhile experience and I would highly recommend checking out Atrium Kitchen!! I only wish we had booked for the beginning of our trip so we could have taken better advantage of our new found knowledge!!!

Exceptional experience! We booked a market tour and cooking class for 6 family members, and it was amazing, start to finish! The tour is an insider's view of the market -- part history, part introduction to some of the vendors and their unique offerings. Even if you're a local and you've been to Pike Place a million times, you'll enjoy meeting some of the wonderful people who make this market so special. The cooking experience was great -- we all participated, the food was delicious, and most of all, it felt like a wonderful Sunday afternoon in the family kitchen, full of stories, laughter and deliciousness. I could not have asked for anything more. 5 stars, and we'll do this again soon!

My son (who is 10) and I wanted to take a cooking class on a weekend getaway to Seattle and we were lucky to find Atrium Kitchen and Chef Traci. We signed up for the Seafood class and as a group we made 5 dishes from local ingredients that the Chef had selected prior to our arrival from the market. Chef Traci welcomed my son and gave him a fun job making aioli for the Swordfish dish. We cooked, enjoyed an awesome meal and then took a stroll to the garden. It was a great experience in an amazing setting. We hope to visit and take another class someday in the near future.

We ordered the holiday meal kits for Christmas. We ordered the ham, with candied potatoes, spinach soufflé, and some sort of cake. The ham was dry. The potatoes were fine. The spinach was unimpressive. And the cake was burnt. Each bite of the cake was horrible. We didn't eat about half of the food for Christmas. We enjoy fine dining, but Atrium is not that. It was nice to not cook on the day of Christmas but we could have gone anywhere for takeout.

Sooooo good! My husband and I did a cooking class and tour with Tracy and it was worth every penny! She's so kind and personal, we learned a lot about Pike Place that we wouldn't have otherwise and about cooking seafood too! We made so many yummy things and were able to interact with vendors. ugh, it was sooo fun!

Great space for a small gathering. Seats 10 comfortably. Excellent venue for a cooking class!

My aunt & I took a holiday cooking class at the Atrium! By far our best experience taking cooking classes together. The recipes were unique but straightforward to make. The outcomes were delicious! Tracy is an instructor that inspires confidence and love of cooking. She definitely goes the extra mile to make it nice & share the 'tricks of the trade'. I was so glad to meet her and will definitely take classes from her again in the future!

Chef Traci and the Atrium Kitchen team are fantastic - highly recommend for any corporate events! Despite our event being in the middle of a snow storm, Chef Traci hosted a wonderful class! She was very informative and positive throughout. The class was fun and inclusive to all levels of cooking ability. We did the Pacific Northwest-inspired cuisine and it turned out delicious! She was very accommodating of our vegetarians as well! We will most definitely be back for our next event!

A food pop-up called Local Tide serving a concise menu while I was here on Memorial Day weekend. Had a perfect crab roll and great slaw. $18 for the roll, which is totally fair given the price of crab. Buttered toasted New England style hot dog buns and generous pile of delicious Dungeness. So happy to find this place, and looking forward to trying their fried fish sandwich, which is only $8.50.
