Matt and team are stellar and highly recommend. The family camper van broke down ( we're a long way from home) and we got towed there. Monday am they were on it. Tuesday I had a new axle and a few other things and by end of day we're back in business. Super communication and their willingness to understand our situation and get us up and running quickly was great!

The folks here ATS in Altoona truly are Top notch. I brought my truck in for repairs 2 weeks in a row for some issues. A failed water pump, heavy duty shocks and struts, and a failing wheel bearing. I chose higher end parts as they have better warranties and last longer without failure. A little more pricey but worth it. Matt, the owner, Bobbi, their overall business/administrative person, and the mechanics that did the work was well worth my time and their effort. Fair pricing as well. I look forward to giving them my business whenever I need any automotive repairs.

I’m living in Texas and you guys are not only the best on the east coast but best around here also! You helped me more then words can explain! Did an amazing job on the transmission for my f250! You guys went above and beyond what you had to do for me! Haven’t met anyone else nicer my whole life then you people. I really appreciate what you guys did for me! Didn’t have to pay for it to be shipped to you and fix it and send it back, and I can’t thank you enough for it! You’re by far the only people I will have fix any transmission I have. Extremely professional, fast response time, and very pleasant to deal with. I have a 04 Chevy duramax that I took to 3 garages and they couldn’t fix it, I took it to ATS and had my truck back in a timely manner, it was fixed, he talked me through the issues and what his plan of attach was going to be. It came back just as clean as it was when I dropped it off, there was no grease or oil on the handles or steering wheel. You can tell they take care of their customers vehicles as if they were their own. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ATS!

The couple that own this transmission shop are so down to earth and straight front and forward with you. They get the job done in a timely manner and it’s done right. They back what they do. I highly recommend them if your in need for any transmission work. They also are highly recommended in the diesel field too. Great over all experience from start to finish.

I cannot say enough great things about ATS!!! Our daughters car had to be towed there for what we feared was a transmission problem. We live 3 hours away and they kept us updated on her car the entire time. Fortunately, it wasn’t her transmission but he fixed it anyway for minimal cost!!! This is a very honest, trustworthy garage and I would recommend them to anyone!!! Thank You!!!

I recently wrote a review about my bad experience with ATS. I am now writing to say I am now a very pleased customer at this point. The owner contacted me after reading my old review and we discussed my experience and what they could do to help fix the issues. My car is now in there possession getting any of the transmission issues it has fixed and fixed properly. They were very polite and very concerned about getting everything resolved in a timely manner.

Awesome experience! I went to an oil change appointment and was told I had a transmission fluid leak. I was in a bit of a panic because I was supposed to be heading out of town in a few days. I called ATS and they were able to get me in right away and all fixed up within a day. Superb customer service and communication all around. Thanks Matt and Julie for all your help!
