Tips From A Bellman

Google
Played a little at the Rio today and decided to give this place a try. I got my order to go. I used the QR Code posted by the cash register. I was able to use my 2 $10 food credits for my lunch. I got the Double Smashburger and Onion Rings. The one cook looked a little overwhelmed even though it wasn't busy and the other employees was counting down the register or something to that effect. Anyway I watched the cook put onion rings in my container , then take some out , then he added the burger , then added more onion rings. He checked the order receipt several times and bagged it. Then he moved the bag like 3 times before coming to the counter to call my name. He really seemed to be confused or having a bad day. I got home and everything was still warm since I live close by. The Onion Rings were large and plentiful , but nothing to brag about , pretty plain. They need some kind of seasoning in the batter. The Double Smashburger was kind of small , but filling enough. The flavor again was just okay , nothing to write home about. I was hoping it would be better , but honestly the smashburger at Sonic is better and cheaper and I rarely go to Sonic. I'm glad I got this for free. I don't think I will be back and the same for Tony Luke's , terrible cheesesteak.

Good burger spot located in the food plaza. We ordered a single burger—slightly pricey at around $18, but the taste definitely delivered.

Good burger onion rings and fries. Forcing you to tip at a walk up counter bruh. Every walk up counter I have been to has a no tip option not this place.

Great burger for an excellent price! Seriously though, $8 for a smash burger in Las Vegas?! Count me in! Attaboy Burger is located in the new Canteen Food Hall at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas, and I was visiting as part of a video to try a little something from most of the spots located here. Attaboy Burger and several of the other places left me legitimately impressed and surprised at just how much I enjoyed it! The food hall space is a bit small, but honestly kind of cozy and comfortable. Attaboy is very noticeable with its colorfully yellow decor, and it was one of the first spots I was drawn to. I also found myself impressed by the prices here, with the single smash burger starting at only $8 - that's a steal in Las Vegas!! The burger was ready very quickly after ordering and service was very friendly. Upon trying, I found it well-cooked, tender, cheesy, and very flavorful. It's a little small, but I feel like it's enough to fill you up for a quick bite or for lunch. I enjoyed that it wasn't overpowering or heavy and felt the sauce, meat, and cheese inside all perfectly complimented each other. All that being said, if you're craving a cheap and flavorful smash burger, definitely stop by Attaboy Burger! This is a great new addition and wonderfully tasty spot in the Rio Las Vegas!

Great stop for a quick bite before hitting the town! Yummy burger! The 50/50 onion rings and fries were perfection!

Google
Exceptionally friendly service and a great bite! I had the Texas Toast burger with egg—so good. The only thing I’d change is adding more caramelized onions, and if they had sweet pickles, it would’ve been a perfect 10. Loved it and would absolutely come back!

Google
Update... Tried with bun and was still very good, cooked perfect, but I think actually liked it better bunless. Great burger, it was so juicy. Reminiscent of in n out flavor, maybe even better tho. Sauce and pickles were killer and burger so juicy and even tho somewhat smashed and thin patties actually was perfectly medium rare, just a tad pink, which is a very rare thing for thinner burgers like this. They didn't yet have a lettuce wrap option tho said might soon, but was fine just like that. Will need to come back and try with their bun eventually see how much better it gets how great their ratios are with, but so far a new burger for the top of lists in town

This is a decent hidden gem inside of the Rio casino. The food hall has an amazing music playing . You can just catch a vibe while sitting there. now we’re here to talk about the food. The food was pretty decent for a burger if you have a craving for meat and cheesy it definitely hits that but if you’re looking for a more complex flavorful burger, it lacks in that department as it was missing some seasoning the onion rings were a 10 out of 10 those were really good. Service was pretty good, I did ask if they have lettuce or tomatoes and the cashier made a statement that no they’re just a cheeseburger joint cheeseburgers don’t come with lettuce and tomatoes which could be the most misleading information EVER the burger is OK if you craving meat and cheesy hundred percent you should try if you want a little more flavor you may have to ask for mustard or a pack of salt and pepper

Yelp
What a gem! I was working remotely from my hotel room at Rio and needed a quick bite to eat. Luckily, Rio recently remodeled and opened up a food hall with a variety of eats! I opted for an american classic, cheesburger and fries! I also want to mention that their pricing here is unbeatable! $8 for a burger itself, but $16 for a full combo of the burger, 50/50 fries/onion rings and a drink! This deal was too good to pass up. Now onto the food. The cheesburger was a perfect smash burger and I loved the crispy edges. One thing I do wish they had was lettuce and tomato. I love the fresh balance it gives to the rich burger. The fries and onion rings were perfectly fried and the team here is very generous with the amount of ranch and bbq sauce they give. Side note that I don't think has anything to do with the restaurant, the soda machines all around the food hall seem to not be working properly. The one closest to attaboy was not sweet enough and the others had a weird syrup flavor. Overall, i'll definitely be back for more especially with the competitive pricing they have to offer. I have my eyes on the $4 ice cream sandwich for a sweet treat!

Yelp
Attaboy Burger? More like absolute bummer. I've been working through the Canteen Food Hall at the Rio Hotel & Casino, and it was Attaboy's turn at bat today. There was a big pool (billiards) event at the Rio today, so even if I wanted to stand in line for once, using the kiosks for the food hall was a better option. They accept Rio dining credit and points for payment, which is as easy as a swipe, a PIN entry, and a few more taps of the screen. It felt like either a good or bad sign that their menu is so simple. I went for the Double smash burger ($12.00) with a side of The 50/50 ($7.00), aka both onions rings and curly fries. Despite being a double patty, the burger was small. Even worse, it was bland, despite the included "fancy sauce" and my attempts to add any number of additional sauces on the side. The cherry on top was that the beef patties had few if any crispy edges, which is what you look for in a smash burger. The beer battered onion rings were pretty bland too, and the curly fries were plain, on the dry side, and overwhelmingly served as matchsticks rather than the lengthy spirals which you hope to get. I was considering giving them some benefit of the doubt at the ~2.5 star fence, but then they didn't provide me with a cup for water when I asked. Even if they were out of water cups, they still had plenty of alternative cups to offer. I have been able to get a water cup for free from at least one of the other food hall businesses, but it would have felt really awkward to do so while holding a burger. With only two more places remaining for me to try, Attaboy Burger is the prohibitive favorite for worst food option at Canteen Food Hall. Considering both quality and price, I would have preferred getting most if not all fast food burgers over this spot. I will almost certainly not return here for any reason.

Yelp
We visited the newly renovated Rio Hotel & Casino Canteen Food Hall and tried Attaboy Burger. The young man provided great customer service. Our order arrived within 10 minutes. Attaboy Burgers were grilled fresh and we requested for one medium well and one well done. We ordered a single burger and a double burger (double patty) both with American cheese, caramelized onions, fancy sauce and pickles along with seasoned curly fries. Attaboy Burgers were good, tender and the patty was thick. It seems like they use lean meat for their patties due to the texture and thickness of the beef. Seasoned curly fries were ok. I could not figure out the seasoning used but could taste the salt. It would have been better with less salt. Fries were crispy. We definitely will stop by Attaboy Burger and try other items on their menu when in Las Vegas.

Yelp
To be honest I have never heard of this burger joint before so when Ibm was in the Rio casino food hall area I decided it try it. I was actually not expecting much bc it's a small fast food type looking place in the food court. The burger took a minute and it was actually worth it. It was one of the better burgers I have had in Vegas in awhile actually. Crispy bacon not fatty rubber bacon like most burger spots give you. I also got curly fries which were good and it came w/a good ranch type sauce as well. I would definitely go back here for a burger again. Impressed for a little food court spot.

Yelp
Texas Toast Smash Burger: 5/5 delicious. Flavorful but still juicy with bits of crispy bits. Smash Burger done to perfection. Curly fries: 3/5 taste like those frozen ones from a bulk store. Gets soggy and sad fast. Not only soggy it becomes a bit rubbery. Overall: great burgers but a disappointment for the fries.

Yelp
Their burgers, fries, and ranch was sooooooo good. I like a good ranch, but let me tell you, this ranch was out of this world. The fries were crispy and the sauce they put in their burgers made them tasty as well. Absolutely no complaints. I would come back and think it's worth every penny.

Yelp
Not a fan. It's super greasy, no flavor and it's expensive. I wouldn't go back. Service is good though. The dining area needed its tables wiped down.

Yelp
So, I was at the Rio food court (sorry Food Hall) waiting for a show. Many places to choose from here. I chose Attaboy. BIG MISTAKE. Service was very dull. Seemed like the people did not want to be there. I order a single burger ($8), the 50/50 ($6), which is half onion rings and half curly fries. You get ranch and BBQ for dipping. Plus, a drink. I have to say, I've had better food at Wendy's, which is some of the worst burgers *. It was the size of a McDonalds hamburger, was not good at all. Not worth the $8 price. The onion rings were the only thing that was even remotely eatable. Curly fries were passable. Sauces, well just ranch and BBQ, nothing special. Overall, the meal cost $20. It was worth the price AT ALL!!! Since I do not go to the Rio often, I will not be returning to Attaboy. Chose other places there, do not waste your money here! Are far as ambiance, it is a "food court". * Wendy's use to be good, but they have got so bad!! Look for my review here on Yelp about my experience.

Yelp
Service was great the guy was super happy and eager to help. I ordered the Texas toast, seasoned fries, and root beer float. After getting off of my 6 hour flight from Boston, a greasy burger is exactly what I needed. Not the most amazing burger in the world but definitely a good pick me up. And definitely great for the midnight munchies.

Yelp
Great and super tasty burgers! Buttery bun, pickles, special sauce, thick juicy burger, chopped grilled onions, melted cheese...DE...LISH...US! Bursting with flavor and washed down with crispy curly fries dipped in sauce! Not watered down with limp lettuce or soggy tomatoes. Try this place, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Tried this while staying at the Rio, the burgers are epic. Gave my son the choice of anything else in the food court and this was all he wanted. Had the double and son said it was even better today then yesterday lol will be back!

Yelp
Not sure why everyone is hating on this place but we were happy with our burger. We got a double smash and an order of 50/50 onion rings and curly fries. There are a lot of smash burgers out there that suck and this one is not one of them. For The Win is our favorite but this is definitely not one of our worsts, which we've experienced more than good. The burger was cooked perfectly. It's not small and skimpy like some can be; also, not salty which can happen with a lot of smash burgers since they are thin patties. The seasoning could use a little pizazz (not the salt kind of pizazz) and the beefiness could be a little bolder but overall very delicious and happy with our burger. Onion rings and curly fries were plentiful and delicious too. They give out free ranch and bbq sauce too! Service was pretty friendly but we used the kiosk to order so we only interacted with them while picking up. Overall, we would definitely eat here again.

Yelp
Easy access from Rio ipanema tower. Close to free parking as well. Single is perfect for my low appetite eating. Service has been very personable both times I have stopped by this week

Ronald V.

Yelp
Service was good but found substances in our burger. Bone like and string like objects. Reported to staff and they agreed to replace meal but, I lost my appetite after that. Just watch out if eating there.

Yelp
I expected more than a tiny burger with no lettuce, onion or tomato. The piece of meat is small.

Lyle K.

Yelp
Read some other reviews and cant for the life of me figure out how people said this was good. I have eaten many burgers and these were the second worst burgers I have ever eaten. Will never eat at this place again.

Tanya B.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the fries, onion rings, and all the sauces. I didn't really enjoy the burger because it had an off taste, like it was old. It would have been 5 stars. service was great as well as atmosphere.

Daniel R.

Yelp
Nothing to write home about. The food was ok. However, no lettuce, tomatoes, onions are available. Price wasn't too bad. Unfortunately, however I probably won't be returning. I wasn't wowed by this burger. I'll go upstairs to Smashburger instead. Sorry... :(

Heather M.

Yelp
Read the rave reviews on Twitter, so we went to check it out. Price point is perfect, burgers were delicious and thankfully the bun didn't fall apart like In and Outs. Onion rings were great. Cashier was pleasant and the employee calling out names was very polite. Clean tables, no trash laying around; there was someone walking around wiping tables and keeping the area tidy.

Laura M.

Yelp
SO good!!! Even if you're in Las Vegas but not staying at The Rio- worth a visit! First time I tried it, I was starving... it was so good but I thought- maybe being so hungry had a food euphoria effect. So I tried it again, and again, delicious! I got the single, no cheese both times, 2nd time tried the onion rings , and dang... so good! They need to expand so I don't have to come to Las Vegas to have (hint hint, SF Bay Area please!)! Brilliant food guys!! And super nice employees top it all off!!
