20 Essential Korean Restaurants in Montreal

"After closing their restaurant in 2018, Atti’s owners turned their focus on their takeout counters — and anyone who works within walking distance of the underground malls where Atti Express’ three locations are based should be glad they did. A far better lunch option than the ubiquitous downtown food courts, Atti has all the classics at a great price (like $10 bibimbap and japchae)." - Holly Tousignant, Eater Staff, JP Karwacki

Too spicy to my taste and not as many choices of meals as other Korean restaurants I've been to. Doesn't have many choices to accommodate vegetarian clients.

Wonderful place, food is delicious, good quantities. They give free appetizer, wine is very cheap... Must try!!

I went there for the first time today and had lunch. I really liked it! The food was very good and tasty! Nice decor too! The service could be a bit faster (it was good at the beginning, but as more and more people filled the place, the quality of the service started to degrade and got a bit slow). But other than that, it was a great first experience, the prices were very good (I didn't have any alcohol but had ice cream for desert). Lunch cost me less than 15$ (+tip of course). Still very affordable and I will absolutely go back! Try the red bean ice cream! :-)

This is a nice upscale Korean restaurant. They have a great selection of choices for lunch and dinner. I would say it's good for either date nights, or group outing. They also have a bar. However, their service can be very slow. Another criticism is that the place is located in a basement, and hence it has very few windows.

The atmosphere is really warm and it's a great place to go with friends! Food came out quickly and the server was really sweet. If you can't decide on what to get, get a variety of dishes and share them! I discovered some new foods and I'll definitely be back to try some more! :)

We were recommended this restaurant and I'm so glad we listened! I ordered the shrimp and mushroom appetizer and the chicken bibimbap and both were excellent. The shrimp and mushroom had mild spice but with flavor not just hot. The bibimbap was so good I'm going to be craving it when we leave Montreal. We had our young son with us and they were very accommodating (we had seats where I felt we weren't in the way and they got us water to make a bottle. The service was a touch slow but well worth the wait considering how fresh everything was. I hope to go here again before we leave.

I really like going here. The food is close to authentic and the service is Korean style but very good (meaning that the servers may seem cold but they're actually really friendly and competent). Priced are reasonable for the area and the food is above average in quality and taste. I usually go 2 or 3 times a month, usually during lunch. There'll be space if you get there by 12.

I shared a number of dishes with my group, but the great Korean Fried Chicken and service stands out the most from the entire evening. The KFC was made from boneless chicken pieces, I don't think there was an option for bone-in pieces. The crust was satisfyingly crispy and the meat was super juicy. I'd come back any day of the year and it'd hit the spot. They gave a few dipping sauces which you may or may not like, but they're worth trying out. The staff and waiters were a great group of people and made the experience even better!
