What a lovely destination! It was our very first date and how extraordinary it turned out with the magnificent ambiance of the place. The cuisine is immaculate. And Alfouny jazz band played all night... Loved every minute of the evening and will definitely be returning. Oh! The Mojito is lit 🔥!

The restaurant is a hidden gem to be explored in Bamako and it offers a great beach like vibe 😎 to enjoy with family and friends.The beautiful pool offers a heavenly experience on any hot day.The outdoor experience is only rivaled by the cool indoor restaurant to enjoy your meal away from the heat.Great taste is exhibited in the decor and arrangement of this establishment. The staff are very welcoming and attentive.

I really enjoyed staying here. For same value of money, this was way better than the other hotels (can't mention names but you know them 😉)

Au bord de L'eau is undoubtedly a charming place. However there two points that need radical improvement. 1) SECURITY: In a country like Mali security threat is a reality. The security system at this place is very poor. The main gate was mainly open with only one security guard who was very distracted. I was concerned for my safety while at the restaurant and will certainly not recommend the hotel. 2) FOOD QUALITY: I was disappointed by the quality of food. For such an upscale high end place, I was expecting something more dissent. The food wasn't fresh. The french fries was tasteless and the burger bun was hard as a rock. But the cocktail juice and dessert were excellent. I am writing this review with hopes that the hotel management will adress these areas improvements. It is a place with lots of potential but needs some adjustments..

Beautiful and highly standard hotel in Bamako. Located in the Niger River Bank. Nice view to the River. They are maintaining the compound very well. Friendly staffs. Rooms are star hotel facility and quality. Outdoor swimming pool is available. Food served in the restaurant are very tasty and affordable.

Its very nice place. Cozy and peaceful. The room is clean and nicely set. A part from the small background noises you hear when you’re in the downstairs room its great. The food is very tasty and affordable. Nice service.

Nice place facing the Niger river with cosy rooms. It can get noisy as all rooms are facing the bar. The food is good someday and just okay some others.

Good place nice food but the service the waiters are rude we asked for table they said it’s reserved but it was not 2girls take the table even it’s for 6 to more pax need to change the waiters
