This review is for the restaurant as we didn’t stay in the rooms. Plenty of parking available. They also have electrical charger, although perhaps only made available for those staying with them. Plenty of choices in the menu. Do try the smoked duck dish as that is their specialty and it did taste very good. The dessert seems to be quite traditional but it is still tasty.

If you love really good food, this restaurant is for you! Their prices may be double the average, but so are quality and service. Lovely quiet setting with a short walk to the river Semois.

We had dinner and breakfast here and we loved the food. At dinner we loved the fact that you can choose every dish in a smaller or larger portion, so you can choose between 2 or 3 smaller dishes or 1 big and 1 small etc...||Even though we were the only guests, breakfast was great. ||The room was average. We found the bed a bit narrow and the bathroom a bit strange with a very small bath that was odly placed. We would have prefered a decent shower. ||Overall we had a very pleasant stay here and the restaurant is really one to remember.

When the chef followed after us to debate the quality of his dessert in the car park, we were initially alarmed, but it soon became clear that he cared deeply about our experience and our opinion. I stand by my observation that the chocolate beignet was a little burned, but I am filled with respect for his passion and perfectionism. Apart from the dessert our dinner was perfect: lobster, partridge & joues de porc. Truly 5 star. And the house rose wine was out of this world.

The chef is really "special" .||He prepares unusual dishes that need to be tasted .||Excellent reception by his wife .||This is a relatively small hotel and you should ask for a large room as the bed in the small rooms are quite "small"
