Au Coin Berbère Couscous et tajine à Montréal

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this quaint restaurant where I indulged in a dish that transported me straight back to the vibrant streets of Morocco: couscous. The couscous was perfectly fluffy and seasoned with a blend of spices that captured the essence of Moroccan cuisine. The vegetables complemented the grains beautifully, creating a harmonious symphony of flavors. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff who ensured a delightful dining experience. This meal was not just food; it was a nostalgic journey to Morocco, made even better by the outstanding service.

The restaurant was amazing, and the service was exceptional. These guys do a great job representing their Berber traditions and food. The lamb couscous was fantastic, and the portion size was generous. It was my first experience at Au Coin Berber, and it won't be the last, I will certainly come back.

I had a wonderful experience at Au Coin Berbère Couscous. The staff are warm, friendly and provide excellent service. It was my first time at their restaurant and I will be back. Being alone I decided to simply have the Lamb and Merguez with Couscous. The portion was large and very delicious and the in house made Merguez Sausage was exceptional. I highly recommend trying theirs.

We had a good expérience, worm ambiance, very private restaurant a little bit expensive but tasty. You have to bring your own alcohol but you can order coffees, teas, and soft drinks.

Great food. Very slow service. If you want to enjoy your wine and not very hungry for the wait, it's recommended.

I was there a while ago with my wife and another couple. Very bad experience Food : so/so , nothing to write home about Service : Terrible ! Unfriendly and rude owner. The worst and shameful part : because I wasn't happy with the experience , I didn't leave any tips and then surprise! surprise! , I received my Visa statement a month later and was shocked to learn that the owner basically helped himself with 20% tip !! Despicable !!! I filled a complaint with Visa , and they made the owner send them a copy of the bill and visa sent me copy : He altered the bill I signed with his own writing and charged my Visa what he felt "entitled" to receive as tips .

We had an absolutely exceptional experience here last night. Not only were the food and service excellent, they went above and beyond during a power outage. Even though the power was out for about sn hour, they still prepared and served excellent food while making sure that everyone had a candle on their table. Hats off to the chef who managed to cook the rice perfectly even in the dark! The spiced olives are heavenly! One of the owners came and chatted with us after the meal, it was a great conversation. Will definitely go back.
