» In a nutshell: The gourmet restaurant fully met my very high expectations.
I thought the value for money was outstanding.

● Hospitality, friendliness, obligingness, etc.: 4.8/5
● Atmosphere, temper, facilitation, etc.: 4.8/5
● Comment: A young and ambitious team in a good mood. The chef himself welcomes you by explaining his menu and à la carte offerings.
●● Food – 4.8/5 – very good:
● Flavors (range, depth, composition, harmony/balance, etc.): 4.8/5
● Level (thoroughness, craftsmanship, originality, exclusivity, variety of impressions, consistency/diversity, etc.): 4.9/5
● Choices: 4.8/5
● Comment: Overall, I really enjoyed the food. I would describe the underlying style as classic and the interpretations as relatively modern and relatively ambitious.
I would particularly like to highlight an intermediate course with goose liver and another intermediate course with sea bass, both of which I found outstanding.

● Comment: I also really liked the wines. In my opinion, they were varied and all accessible, as well as elegant in some cases - but none of them were boring or kitschy.

● Procedures at and around the table (attunements and explanations, elements added/changed, service and staffing intensity, involvement of kitchen team, orchestrated dish presentations, preparations and dishes (partially) built up at the table, etc.): 4.7/5
● Comment: I thought the tableside procedures were very good: The team always explained the dishes well and in many cases added one or two components at the table. One of the amuses was even built at the table.
However, I didn't like the timing very much because there were several fairly long pauses. That's still better than things going too fast, but it bothered me nonetheless.

● Quantities poured as well as timing in relation to the dishes: 4.5/5

● Comment: I liked the style and decor of the dining room. However, the room is obviously clairaudient. The sounds of guests' conversations were always quite loud and sometimes swelled to a remarkable volume.
