Au Couvent

Went for a Sunday brunch and food was amazing. The have a Pre-set designed already which makes ordering easier. No need to worry about going wrong. We just have to decide hot drink and cold drink and pancake toppings. It was €29 per person and the food was great. Service was really nice. The place was nice. Even though it was hot outside the inside was cool.

We had a fabulous breakfast here -- granola with berries for my husband, baguette with butter and jam for me, café crème for both of us. Great atmosphere, very rustic and charming, and super-comfortable. The area is the most charming of all of Bordeaux, in our opinion, and Au Couvent is a great place for breakfast or brunch.

Went for a Sunday brunch and everything tasted great! The service was great and the employees accommodated for us not speaking French. For the confused Americans, the menu is pre-set and you only decide on a few choices such as a drink or pancake topping. Once we ordered, the food came out immediately. I do wish the food slowly came out as we ate the different dishes, because having everything on the table at the same time caused some dishes to be cold when we went to eat them.

29€ for one of the best brunches and warmest service!! Can’t praise the food enough. It’s a great value for money and lip smacking offerings on dishes. Must visit list for Bordeaux

The place itself is pleasant, the staff is doing the job. I arrived at a time when it was becoming busy, so just the minimum contact, normal.. the brunch is ok on the ''meah'' side because of the price: a vegetarian hotdog 🌭 filled with scrambled eggs, 3 average tasting 🥞 pancakes ∅10cm topped with red berries coulis and a little glass of half fromage blanc, half müesli. 29€ with a hot drink + a fruit juice. I haven't tried the week lunch.

Very cozy and intimate restaurant An ideal place for lunch or a dinner. During the week there is available lunch and brunch option with two dishes to pick from. We have tried risotto and hot dog and both were very tasty. Main dish was for the price of 13€. The staff was very nice and served everything within 10min. They also offer great coffee! Definitely recommend visiting

Nice place to go with friends. Well decorated. The brunch is good (tartine and eggs, brioche, pancakes and yogurt). Hot drinks are unlimited. I still believe 29 euros is overpriced as the menu is quite simple. 20-23 euros would be a fair price.

A fabulous brunch spot, and well worth the cost. The interior is unique, the food incredible and the service was kind and welcoming.
