Au Pois Gourmand restaurant terrasse gastronomique

Me and partner went for the discovery tasting menu on the last night of our holiday. A fantastic treat overall. The food was incredible and the location was sublime. Service was great - we felt timings were slightly off. We ordered cocktails to start but the first course and wine pairing came soon after so unfortunately could not enjoy the cocktails in our own time and one of the wine pairings came late. This didn’t take away from the overall experience though. The servers were all lovely and attentive but not overbearing. Favourite dishes included the velouté and smoked haddock & mimosa egg. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Absolutely outstanding restaurant. I went to a work lunch here and informed the staff that I had an urgent meeting to attend which meant we were in a bit of a rush. They couldn't have done more to facilitate this and make the meal feel special. I really appreciated the service but the food was also delicious and also the environment inside and outside the building was also very nice indeed. Many thanks.

Excellent meal from start to finish. We chose the Menu Degustation with wine pairings. All dishes were beautifully presented and the staff explained all very well. Lighting was a bit bright, would suggest turning it down a bit for better atmosphere. Great way to finish our vacation. Hope to visit again!

Happy birthday to me ma de so special by dinner here by the river. We arrived early but that was no problem .. everyone tried there utmost in speaking English to us. The menus were explained and the food was amazing. A truly memorable trip and if we come this way again we will come back with friends. From our waiter, waitress superb service and our wine guru was just fantastic xx thank you for such an amazing night.

Riverside location, exquisite cuisine, especially the lobster menu, plus attentive service, a must for Toulouse

Lobster menu and summer menu were both very good! Service was also very friendly and tried their best to introduce us the food in English. The only thing didn’t went well was we sat too close to the river for the view but instantly became mosquitoes buffet within 5 seconds.

Lunch was served in a pretty garden by the river on a sunny afternoon. It was nice to have the movable roof over the terrace to keep cool. The first dishes of gaspacho and our ceviches were lovely. The following sea bass was a bit dry in its leaf wapping but it was an attractive and colorful plating . The meat course, a hefty dish of slightly chewy pork in rich sauce ( perhaps a bit too heavy for a hot afternoon) was hardly deft cooking but it did fill you up! The best part about that course was the amazing mousse (??) of sweet potato ! Astounding creativity that really made a bland vegetable( for me anyway) jump to life! I wish I could make that at home......Tasty and pretty deserts too! Good service and interesting wines by the glass made this a pleasant al fresco meal ...

Absolutely delicious food and the best part is they have ‘Menu Végétal’ which we had chosen to eat. Each and everything was plant based and made from scratch. We celebrated our first wedding anniversary there and the staff was so thoughtful that they lit a candle with greetings on our desert. Perfect ambiance and perfect place to celebrate our special day. Definitely recommended.

The place is very nice, outside of the city with nice terrace and waiters are very professionals. The food is a design menu with the fantastic mix of flavours and all server very good. The selection of wine is very impressive.
