The 30 Best Wine Bars In Paris - Paris - The Infatuation

"In a neighborhood where most people are rushing to catch a train at Gare du Nord, don’t rush past Au Tour du Vin. This place is a true Parisian wine bar in the sense that you can stop in to grab a bottle or drink a glass of French wine (or two). The focus here is more on drinking, but as with any great cave, they serve a cheese plate with comté you shouldn’t pass up, and a few dips like hummus and tarama. This spot always gets the job done, even with a small wine-by-the-glass selection, plus, it's never so crowded that you get turned away at the door." - sara lieberman, tanisha townsend

Another gem of a wine shop and bar in Montmartre. Staff very friendly and if you have an idea of what you like they will point you in the right direction. Great cheese/charcuterie and I highly recommend trying each cheese with your wine to see how they work (or not) together. We got a bottle of burgundy that went so well with the burgundy cheese we were served.

Love this place. Good atmosphere, great wine and food was really high quality. Edward really knows his stuff and will talk you through the different wines and make recommendations. Will definitely return.

I came here because this google map evaluation is very high. I thought it was quite amazing that more than 200 people put 5 stars. And it’s no wonder this happens. The server is very friendly, cheerful, and attentive, which unfortunately in Paris rarely occurs to me. And the selection of wine is very good. The price range is wide and some are economical. I really had comfortable times here.

We wanted to end our trip in the most Parisian way we could, and of course that meant with wine and charcuterie. Edward is infectiously enthusiastic about his wine. Beyond that, he is willing to share, educate and let us in on his joy for it. Every price point available, delicious food and gorgeous service. I particularly love that his selections are limited, and he encourages his guests to try different bottles should you continue throughout the evening. And every recommendation was on point. The highlight of the evening is that he made a dream come true tonight, as my fiancée had recently learned about natural wines and wanted to try, but wasn’t sure where to acquire it. Sure enough Edward had a suggestion, and was sure to explain what we should expect to enjoy the experience to full effect. We loved him so much, that we want to make a trip out just to see him with wines of our own from Canada. He is absolutely deserving of every 5 star he gets. And he has definitely won us over as guests for life. Merci Edward!

We found this spot on google and decided to give it a shot. From the first introduction Edward was one of the best hosts I have met travelling the world. His passion and charisma made the experience complete. I have always wanted to experience authentic natural wine and he gave us the full tour. The food that was was served was exceptional also. I cannot suggest this establishment highly enough. Hoping to return next year when we return from Canada.

Incredible place! Incredible service! Incredible wines and food! The waiter who served us appeared to be an owner of the place. He’s very passionate about wines and food and explained us a lot of things about the wine, cheeses and meats he served us! I really recommend that place to all the people who’d like to spend their evening with a glass of good wine. We’ll definitely come back!

Really great choices of wine and mostly all vegan! We had cousins visiting and the owner was so helpful in explaining it all. We’ll be back soon
