Our stay at this hotel was, unfortunately, marked by a number of issues, particularly with the management. From the moment we arrived, the experience was tainted by the owner's rude and unwelcoming demeanor. There was no greeting or acknowledgment upon check-in, which immediately made us feel unwelcome.
The first room we were assigned had no hot water. After raising the issue, we were moved to another room, which we appreciated. However, what followed was unprofessional and frankly embarrassing: afterwards the owner approached us in front of other guests to insist that the problem had been our fault. Despite our polite explanation and the fact that the receptionist later tested the water and confirmed the issue, the owner continued to publicly insist we were mistaken. This behavior was completely inappropriate and made us feel uncomfortable.
It’s also worth noting that the hotel does not fully match its online description. It is advertised as having an art gallery, which, according to receptionist, has not been there since at least as long time as them joined on board. Additionally, while the hotel lists a pool as one of its amenities, it was not open even though our visit was in May. Furthermore, the pool is not directly connected to the hotel but located a short distance away. That said, we were kindly granted access to it and were able to enjoy it under the circumstances.
On a much more positive note, the receptionist was exceptionally kind and welcoming. They provided us with great tips for exploring the area, which genuinely enhanced our stay.
Lastly, the hotel’s restaurant was a highlight, the food was delicious.
Overall, while there were some redeeming aspects—particularly the helpful receptionist, the quality of the food, and access to the pool—the experience was overshadowed by poor management and misleading information. We hope to see improvements in hospitality and communication in the future.
