"Le cosy Jardin de la Gaichel est en parfaite harmonie avec son environnement boisé (un cadre idéal pour passer une nuitée !). La cuisine d’inspiration bretonne va droit au but. Fruits de mer (sur réservation), foie gras, canard découpé en salle… Une vraie cuisine de produits classique." - Michelin Inspector

The hotel is absolutely amazing. Nice rooms and the overall interior of the hotel is great plus the beautiful garden. Breakfast was very good and dinner became one of my top gastro experiences. Staff very professional and friendly. Thank you

What a wonderful place! I decided last minute to surprise my wife with a night away and we booked a junior suite with a 4 course dinner included. It was amazing! It has a grerat 1850s hunting lodge vibe and great grounds. The room was both spacious and comfortable. The waiting staff are warm, helpful and knowledgeable. The menu started with a wonderful assiette amuse bouche, then starters of Homemade smoked salmon, horseradish cream and wakame salad for me and Green asparagus velouté, pea purée for my wife. Both were superb with an amazing layering of flavours. Next my wife had the beef carpaccio and I had the Squid spaghetti and julienne vegetables. Honestly it was the best carpaccio we have ever tasted and the squid spaghetti was sublime, subtle flavours and an intense creaminess. Both of us had the lamb noisettes in a crust, smoked paprika hummus and green asparagus. Again exquiste flavours with a great balance and perfectly cooked. And for dessert, we had Gourmet pina colada cocktail, limoncello, Italian meringue and a Pistachio éclair , almond praline, blackcurrant sorbet. And after all that we were very happy and very full! It is obvious that a huge amount of thought and love has gone into this menu. We will definitely back. Not often you get somewhere that has equisite food and service to match! would highly recommend

Set in an idyllic surrounding, the Inn is lovely during the day and quiet at night. It is unfortunately not accessible for people with disabilities or physical limits. Stairs everywhere, no ramps of any kind either at the Inn or to access the restaurants. The service when you check in is friendly but there is no assistance to take luggage upstairs and parking is either across the street or in the back which forces you to take extra stairs or go uphill around the Inn.

We had a great lunch at les Jardins de la Gaichel on a Saturday. The place is simply magical and the food was excellent (menu "haut jardin" 4 courses) and extremely good value for money. A must try wether you live in Luxembourg or are on holiday.

On a sunny autumn evening, we had the pleasure of dining at the Restaurant “De la Gaichel,” an experience that was nothing short of enchanting. Our evening began with a delightful aperitif in their stunning garden, where the crisp fall air and warm, golden light set a perfect tone. The food was exceptional, each dish crafted with care and attention to detail, reflecting the restaurant’s commitment to quality. What truly set the evening apart was the impeccable service—attentive, friendly, and perfectly timed. We appreciated the relaxed pace, with no rush between courses, allowing us to fully savor each moment. It was clear that the kitchen only began preparing our meal upon our arrival at the dining table, ensuring everything was freshly made and tailored to our timing. “De la Gaichel” is an ideal setting for a romantic evening or a special gathering with friends, offering not just a meal, but a memorable dining experience.

The location was perfect, situated exactly on the Belgium-Luxemburg border and nestled in the forest, making it a very quiet and peaceful place. The restaurant was quite good, offering a delightful dining experience. Breakfast was also excellent with a wide variety of pastries and other items to choose from. The room, although not overly spacious, was adequately sized for a comfortable stay. Additionally, the large free parking area was very convenient for guests traveling by car.
