Auberge de Montpoupon

We had a wonderful experience for valentines day. The menu was at a very good price, the staff was super efficient and nice, and the food was very tasty. I loved the veal with veggies and maracuja creme, as well as the ginger/honey dessert. Bonus point for the drinks: both alcoholic and nonalcoholic creations were very original and well presented. You have to book in advance because this place is very popular and crowded!

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. The friendly staff kindly explained the menu, helping us understand the better combinations of plates.

Amazing restaurant, with very genuine French cuisine and great service. The food was delicious and the presentation outstanding. Prices are fair for the food you eat. If they improve the wine list, I give an additional star :)

The food was 10/10 and the service was friendly, drinks good and the prices reasonable, especially for the quality. What let the place down is an awful smell of sewage in the outside seating area. It was so strong it was difficult to ignore.

We sat on the terrace and the smell was horrendous; they need to address their sewage issue before opening up this outside area. The terrace also could be tidied up and made more welcoming. Such a shame as the food was good.

Outstanding place to eat. Warm welcome and excellent service. All the food was delicious. Nothing to dislike except the animal heads on the wall (I am anti hunting for sport and trophies).

Very welcoming, enjoyed a tranquil coffee in sunshine with view of chateau. Lunch smelt good but I had more to see.

We really liked the choice of menus and the wine that was recommended. Very good value for money. A little less lighting would give a cosier atmosphere.

Great little place with great food. I was there in a party of 6 and everybody had different dish and all were impressed.
