Was finally able to come and eat here, the owner plus all the employees are fantastic and know what they are doing and cooking. And of course, the food a whole experience on it's own made with love and a lot of knowledge was totally amazing. Enjoyed every bite and every glass of wine mathed with it. P.s. the photos are no spoiler, because you will get a different experience (menu) as they change it regularly and it's always a mistery menu.

I was very unsatisfied with my experience at Auberge de Verse. The food combinations were unacceptable for fine dining – the starter of mackerel with grilled watermelon felt cheap, heavy, and simply did not work together. The main dish was equally disappointing: no real protein, just unpeeled root vegetables and a spoon of ratatouille, described as “72 hrs baked celery,” which was unappealing. After expressing my disappointment, the server showed little concern. Service was extremely slow – it took nearly 3 hours to receive the main dish, and since I did not eat the starter, I was left starving. Despite leaving the meal unfinished, I was charged for the full 4-course menu. Overall, a deeply disappointing experience, and I would not return or recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I wrote a polite email — no answer, not even a line. But when I picked up the phone, someone did at least bother to answer. So, credit for being reachable the old-fashioned way, but ignoring written enquiries doesn’t exactly inspire confidence. Three stars feels about right: functional service, but lacking that basic touch of professionalism.

We had a Culinaire evening with very tasteful dishes and matching wines. One of the better restaurants with tastes we didn't have bevore.

The restaurant is very nice, chef was incredibly nice and enthusiastic, however… food was nothing special really. Fish was way too dry and served with red wine, which kind of didn’t help the dish. Wine was coming way before the dish and breaks between services were way too long. We spend there almost 3 hours and I left honestly just tired. The only one outstanding dish was the desert - the cheese dish - delicious! But maybe it was just a bad day.

This restaurant might have set my new benchmark for 5 stars. There's nothing not to like; the waiter is very attentive without being pushy and very knowledgeable about his wines; The monthly-changing surprise menu is a treat of many different and renewing tastes and there's an almost living room-like ambiance, very nice. Chapeau!

Ruben Coonen will surprise you with delicious food, every time you visit his restaurant. Every course is of Michelin star quality, with wines to match, served in a comfortable environment for very reasonable prices.

One of the dishes servicing was messed up (our dish to a wrong table) but overall very pleasant experience. Food is awesome.
