Auberge du Prévoux

Set in a quiet crossroads on the outskirts of Le Locle, Auberge du Prevoux is a haven! The rooms are simple, comfortable, quiet and charming. The cuisine is exceptional! The cafe and terrace are crowded, especially at lunch, when the local business people descend for the outstanding fare. The food is fresh with creative twists and features the best dining we experienced while in Switzerland. The wait staff is especially knowledgable and recommendations for wine pairings are excellent. Breakfast is delicious, with fresh breads and pastries and fresh fruit. The owners and staff are so accommodating and hospitable one feels completely at home. All 4 members of our party remarked upon how lovely a stay we had and how we hope to return someday.

We stayed at the auberge half for work, half for leisure. This is why we took our two dogs for 1 night. We received permission, against fee, but we realized that dogs are not welcome. I was the leisure party and did, as a result, not feel welcome either. We arrived just when the restaurant was closing at 9pm, but we were offered great salads, cheese, desert. Wonderful organic products, quiet, very clean and pleasant room. Great walk with the dogs the next day!

Very nicely kept hotel/restaurant at the top of a hill outside Le Locle. It ticked all the boxes: spotless and comfortable room, good bathroom and a restaurant providing very good - but not gourmet - food. Nice people, too.

3 ladies from Basel enjoyed a welcome break with delicious food and Neuchâtel wines to help us forget the trials of being alone during this pandemic. We all slept well and thank Family Marchand for their welcome.

Amazing point Food and service are amazing

Nous avons fait une halte dans cette auberge lors de notre road trip à moto, et quel accueil ! L’équipe est d’une gentillesse rare, très attentionnée et chaleureuse. Malheureusement, nous n’avons pas pu goûter au restaurant car il était fermé (c’était un dimanche), mais à en lire les commentaires, les plats semblent absolument succulents… Une bonne raison pour revenir !

Magnifique restaurant . Toujours un bonheur à chaque fois qu'on y va. Plats juste magnifiques et d'un goût. Service excellent avec un personnel très intentionné. On y retourne toujours avec un immense plaisir.

Succulent repas dégusté avec un grand plaisir... les saveurs font vibrer les papilles et cela pour une journée exceptionnelle... service impeccable et jovial..merci au chef et sa brigade.
