L'Auberge

"Opt for a table in either the modern, minimalist dining area or the more elegant dining space; in summer, there is also a delightful garden terrace. Made with top-quality ingredients, the modern French cuisine is infused with a Mediterranean character. Competent sommelier service comes courtesy of the manageress, who will advise you on the appealing wine list. A simpler menu is available at lunchtime. Tip: Book a stay at the tasteful hotel of the same name." - Michelin Inspector

Been there 3rd week of July. 2 Persons. Very nice garden. Traffic is invisible due to wall, fence, plants. Street noise is well dampened. So not annoying at all. Excellent cuisine. Friendly and attentive service. Nice selection of wines with professional recommendations. Will go there again. Absolutely recommended!! Haven't rated the rooms -- Lunch only. REVIEW UPDATE: Been there twice since first visit and now the third time. All three times reaffirmed the very good impression we had the first time. Excellent food and excellent service. Highly recommend!!!

The coolest place I think I've ever stayed at. I loved the old school hotel room keys and the entire vibe/aesthetic of the place. It was very quiet and beautiful while I was there. Breakfast was also amazing!

We have just had a four night visit at this hotel and would say the good reviews are well deserved. The hotel is well placed for the station and only a short walk from the town centre. Our room was large , modern and very well supplied with toiletries plus two large bottles of water each day. The staff were friendly, helpful and thankfully for us spoke excellent English. The outside dining/sitting area was also a bonus. There was a good choice at breakfast and the coffee was excellent . We would certainly be happy to return,

We ended up here after unprecedented circumstances. We arrived as the restaurant kitchen was closing. They were more than accommodating in making sure we all had enough to eat and drink. The staff was amazing. Gary especially, made us feel very welcome and helped us to get a great meal, and enjoy some great bottles of wine. All of the staff here are wonderful, this is a great place to stop and have a great meal while traveling through Switzerland.

A beautifully converted old villa, that put us up at a moments' notice with all the helpfulness and friendliness possible! We spent 4 glorious days and nights in this marvelous, centrally located hotel, in a mild autumn period, trated to the most excellent meals and service. I really wish we could have taken our beds back with us to West Australia, I have never slept so well! There was a distinct ambience and congeniality that made it feel like home. The outdoor luncheons were incomparable and really made the final days of our trip a joyous experience. Thank you so much to all at the Auberge! we LOVE you!

This cute boutique hotel sits proudly on the corner of 5 streets and is easily noticed, it is large and imposing.||Check in was quick and easy and the friendly staff explained everything about the stay, breakfast where and when, lift, car parking, every detail.||Our room was large and spacious on the 2nd floor with full separate ensuite facilities. Very clean, well decorated and a comfy bed. Bath and hand towels of high quality, full and fluffy, just what you need after a shower following a days walking.||Breakfast was good and seating easy and spacious, small buffett well presented and top quality with fresh backed bread and rolls.||The car park was busy in the evenings as the hotel restaurant is very popular with locals and guests alike.||||Cost is comparative for a hotel of this quality not cheap but fully worth the money and would not hesitate to stay there again.

This is a real nice place with interesting rooms. I had an old stove with connected seat in my double room. Everything is clean and maintenaned. Only the shower was slippery. The restaurant is worthy mentioning. Good food and wine. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks for company in the evening. Price quality ratio is very OK. For sure returning here!

Disappointed - looked as if it promised so much. Room was modern but cheap curtains, furniture and fittings and no air con or kettle. Noisy as on a main road and diners leaving late in the evening plus the kitchen emptying bins meant sleep before midnight was impossible. Food was supposedly Michelin standard - we have eaten in many Michelin star restaurants and the food was not up to standard - prices were though! Starters at about £18 a head were ok but not great - smoked mackerel fillet with accompanying mousse and salad, tomato and burrato salad with foccacia. Mains at around £40 were vastly overpriced - Luke warm, tough lamb, cod with fennel and artichokes - nothing outstanding and large portions. Breakfast was uninspiring - overcooked scrambled egg in a pot on the side, fruit salad that was brown at the edges, dry bread and £400 for dinner, bread and breakfast - won't be staying again and can get so much better.
