Auberge Larochette

"This pleasant village inn serves hearty traditional cuisine, such as a fine Charolais entrecôte with gratin dauphinois, or crispy calf sweetbreads. As for dessert, the hot soufflé with praline, walnuts and pear is nicely done. In winter the fire crackles in the hearth; in summer the shady terrace is the place to be. Attentive front-of-house staff." - Michelin Inspector

Super food and wine, great value, great service. As good a lunch as you will get anywhere in France IMHO. Waiter was charming and very tolerant of our awful French. Booking online was easy. Dog friendly, nice shaded outside seating.

Amazing place, top quality food and exceptional service. You can choose from very interesting menus, or a la carte. Everything we took was exceptional:the snails, the entrecote and the duck. Also the desserts were absolutely delicious. Very appreciated also the amouse bouche and the petite patisserie served with the coffee. The price is in line with the quality. Highly recommended!!!

very nice food but TERRIBLE service! 1. We have been waiting more than 1 hour between the starter and the main. 2. For more than 40 minutes the waiters didn’t take our empty plates!! 3. We were waiting for 10 minutes for our cutlery when they served desserts 4. we were waiting for our wine for toooo long at the beginning. we ordered Burgundy wine and they served glasses for white wine. We couldn’t even relax there, this was just ridiculously long!!!!!!!!!

Wonderfully delicious meal! Staff friendly we had a lovely time sitting outside and enjoying the sunshine and atmosphere of a very old village. Recommend without hesitation.

Dinner with generous portions. The place is busy and understandably so. The food was delicious - ingredients were great. The place was packed when we arrived for dinner on a Saturday evening. So busy we got forgotten a bit. We left happy and full.

Nice terrace, restaurant with classic French cuisine. We loved the dessert the most. Main course could have been better though.

Sitting beside the fire, we were very nicely welcomed. Wonderful seasonal menu. Excellent service in a not too large room.
