Delicious Gifts that Give Back to Charity on Giving Tuesday | Eater

"An Audubon center in Vermont’s Green Mountains that produces maple syrup harvested from bird-friendly, biologically and structurally diverse sugarbushes surrounding the property; syrup purchases support the center’s conservation and education programs, and there are options to further contribute such as adopting a maple." - Jaya Saxena

Great trails to go with younger kids! And they let us borrow binoculars.

Love this place. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. They loaned us free binoculars and guide books, and gave us a map. We hiked around the property and watched wildlife. It was relaxed and lovely. Trails are easy.

A great place to walk around and enjoy the sights. Most trails are pretty flat that go around the woods and river. You can go on trails on both sides of the road. Great place to check out any season. Love this place!

What a great place for a short hike and not a lot of people around. Dogs are welcome as long as you’re responsible and pick up after them. There is a little duck blind by a beaver pond however, it doesn’t appear that there’s any recent beaver activity. Trails are well marked and paths maintained well with some bridges and wooden walkways where it tends to be wet.

What an amazing place, we loved exploring the trails. Spent much time on the river trail down on the Huntington River. It was beautiful. Also saw a baby bear cub right off the river trail. Didn't see mama bear around.

I loved the Horseshoe Bend Riverside trails and parking area. Lovely river and convenient parking. I haven't seen much of the rest of the place though. Birds of Vermont Museum and the other buildings or the other hiking trails. There's more to explore 😉 in the future for sure!
