What else can be said about Augusta other than perfection? Every square inch is gorgeous, every interaction and experience is once in a lifetime. The landscape and landscaping is breathtaking, the concessions are delicious and fairly priced. If you ever get the chance to visit here, jump at it.

We couldn't have asked for a better day. The Tournament was super special and the greens were breathtaking. I was able to go by asking a Golf group on Facebook and a random guy called me and gave me tickets. The Staff was super nice and we didn't have any problems. We couldn't take out phone in so here are pictures of the outside. #inspectormelvin #integritygolf

What is there not to say about this place? First class facility and tournament, that is ran and operated like a well oiled machine. Everyone is so friendly, from security, to concession workers, bathroom attendants, and especially the members, in their green jackets. They make you feel like you're wanted at their course! The hills are as steep as everyone says, so be ready to get your cardio in over the course of a day, but it is worth it in seeing the beauty and iconic landmarks and holes around the course. The concessions are cheap, and delicious, especially the pimento cheese sandwich, and you have to try the Georgia peach ice cream sandwich afterwards, a Masters staple.

I rolled up toward Augusta with mud on my boots, hope in my chest, and a seven-iron that’s seen more honest work than most men in green jackets. I’d been dreamin’ about that place since I first learned grass could be cut shorter than a cow pasture. The azaleas, the whispers, the ghosts of Sunday back nines—it all felt like destiny callin’. Turns out destiny don’t answer when your accent’s thicker than creek water. I told the fella at the gate I just wanted to play a round, maybe walk the grounds where legends been sweatin’. He looked me up and down like I’d tracked red clay onto sacred marble. His eyes lingered on my jeans, my sun-faded cap, and the cooler I brought just in case greatness made a man thirsty. Before I finished my sentence, I knew I was already losin’. They didn’t say “no” the way honest folks do. They said it polite, with smiles sharp enough to cut. Said somethin’ about “membership” and “invitations,” like golf was royalty and I’d shown up without a bloodline. I nodded like I understood, but inside I was wonderin’ how a man can love a game so much and still not be welcome where it was supposedly perfected. I tried explainin’ that I play dawn to dusk back home, rain or shine, off dirt tees and greens that bounce like rabbit trails. I told ’em I fix my own divots and rake bunkers even when nobody’s watchin’. That didn’t seem to matter. Tradition, apparently, don’t care how pure your swing is if your last name don’t sound like it belongs on a plaque. As I stood there, I could see the course peekin’ through the trees—green like it had never known hardship. Fairways smoother than a Sunday sermon, greens rollin’ true like they trusted the world. It hurt somethin’ fierce knowin’ that land was right there, and I was still somehow miles away. Closest I got was breathin’ the air, which felt borrowed at best. I thought about all the folks I’ve played with—men who work double shifts and still stripe drives at sunset, women who learned the game from brothers and dads instead of country clubs. None of ’em would ever sniff that first tee, no matter how straight they hit it. That’s when it hit me: Augusta ain’t just a golf course, it’s a locked door with really good grass behind it. They thanked me for comin’, which felt like thankin’ a man for leavin’. I tipped my hat anyway, ‘cause that’s how I was raised. Respect costs nothin’, even when it ain’t returned. Still, my boots felt heavier walkin’ back to the truck than they ever did on a steep fairway. I sat there for a minute, listenin’ to my engine idle, imaginin’ the shots I’d never hit. The opening drive. The approach over Rae’s Creek. The putt that would’ve told me I belonged, even if just for a day. Funny thing is, I didn’t want to conquer Augusta—I just wanted it to let me try. On the drive home, the road felt familiar again, forgiving. I knew I’d be back on my home course by evenin’, playin’ nine with folks who don’t care what shoes you wear as long as you keep pace. Greens ain’t perfect, but they’re honest. And nobody ever told me I didn’t belong. So yeah, I’m a hillbilly who wanted to play Augusta, and they wouldn’t let me. But I reckon golf don’t live behind gates anyway. It lives in cracked grips, shared carts, and fairways where everyone’s invited as long as they love the game. Augusta can keep its secrets—I’ll keep my swing.

If you ever have a chance to attend, make it happen. I have been quite a few times and always marvel at the beauty. Everything is always in immaculate shape. If the azaleas are blooming, then it's even more of a spectacle. I typically like to come for the par 3 tournament since the players are much looser and will interact with you. One of the last times here, my wife is able to get most of the tournaments players' signatures on her flag. Arnold Palmer even hit me home on one of his shots, which was well worth it getting to meet him and speak for a few minutes. Food prices haven't changed and probably 40 years. You have to get one of their pimento cheese sandwiches it is a true tradition. It is like no other. It's something that will give you lasting memories.

Words cannot describe this Amazing golf course and the Masters event here. You have to be one of the lucky one to experience this, I was fortunate enough to be there and looking forward to going back. I love the Par 3 contest, it's a fun and relaxing atmosphere. You're up close to all the action on every hole. Everything is first class here, so organized. Parking is free, food is inexpensive and the whole place is immaculate. Hope to be back next year!!!!!

Bucket list item for myself and the experience at the Masters lived up to all the hype. It is without question the most beautiful golf course in the world. The staff and patrons all treat you like family. The facilities, food court and shops are impeccably clean. My only criticism is that the logistics of the gift shop could be improved, over an hour to get in and by the time you shop and check out you can plan on missing 2 hours of play. With that being said it still does not devalue the 5 star rating for the experience.

Amazing golf course and the fairway, bunker and green are so wonderful.All the servers in lounge were so nice especially the food provided everyday. It's my great pleasure to play here two year's ago.Unforgettable experiences.

2022 was the last time I was inside the AGNC for the #anwa. Met C. Rice and saw some good golf. Fast forward to 2024, I'm back and driving around some great clients. I'll be back in eventually.

As a golf course, it probably doesn't get any better than Augusta National. The best word to describe the condition of the course is 'immaculate.' Being there on the Wednesday before the Masters, we saw the facility in tournament form, including all the stands, ropes and such. Even with those, the golf course itself looked amazing. I think one of the top existential experiences for a golf fan is visiting Augusta National's store during tournament week. Along with being a total madhouse in terms of people, the incredible array of clothing, hats, and general golf-related paraphernalia is a sight to behold. Of course, being a golf fan, I left behind a good bit of money in their till myself. And if you visit, don't forget to try either the pimiento cheese or egg salad sandwich (or both, as I did). I'd have tried the peach ice cream sandwich as well but they were sold out early. Boo.

A gem of a tournament. Always has been since my childhood. Great employees. Great facility. Great food. I love being an unofficial ambassador of the tournament for folks coming from out of town. This tournament is what bucket lists were created for.

Amazing experience dampened only by the realization that the legendary peach ice cream sandwiches were sold out by 1 pm. Our 90- year old father had been looking forward to the treat for months. To whomever does purchasing, please do better. Both that and the pink tote were sold out on Wednesday

I am not heading out this year. The course is way overrated to visit in person, and much better to stay at home and watch it on t.v. Pebble Beach is a much more enjoyable venue and event for the patrons than the Masters. It was interesting to see the ratings by Nicklaus. It always felt like the tournament was on the low end of the totem pole, and Nicklaus was correct. Although I would put the Players Champ ahead of the Masters. Us Open Number 1, Open Championship 2, Pga 3, Players Championship 4,

Nearly every review of Augusta is actually about the Master's tournament. This review is for the club. I'm a lifetime golfer and have played world class courses in the US and UK - private and public. Being in the area, I was naturally curious to get a glimpse of this venerable course. I fully expect a club of this type to protect its esteemed members privacy. I respect the club's right to minimize public access and restrict access to the privileged members. Sadly, the attitude with which the club performs its duty only serves to justify the controversies that surround the self-serving policies of the club. Considering the fanfare of the tournament and the worldwide fame, it should not come as a surprise that tourists would want to look for a souvenir book, ball marker or golf ball. When we found a driveway with a gate we knew we would not be admitted. We just wanted to ask a question. We were "greeted" by a security guard who immediately informed us that we had just driven past a sign that without question, stated that "we could be prosecuted for driving past it". The guard's harsh and repeated condemnations of our violation of the law were of a type and style that I have never witnessed before. Reminded again that we had driven past this important sign, we queried whether there is a gift shop. The reply was, "There is no entrance. You have driven past the 'no trespassing' sign. The gift shop is being renovated. You cannot go there. Turn around and don't hit any of the trees or you WILL be prosecuted". There is no way to know in advance that the souvenir shop is closed. If this had happened anywhere else in the world that I've lived in, the security guard would have simply greeted us with a statement such as "Hello. I know you're curious but in the interests of our members, we do not allow people to visit or view the course. If you are interested in viewing the tournament, please come back next year. Thanks for your understanding." One month later in Palm Beach FL, we approached the biggest and most ornate architectural wonder to find that it was gated. We explained to the guard that we were curious about the beautiful grounds. His response, "Sure. Just drive up to the front of the club and turn around. No problem."

It would be five stars if it weren't for every place to stay during the Masters being either a cess pool or a price gouger. During the Masters you have two choices: 1) Stay in a disgusting (seriously) hotel for $300 to $500/night instead of $40/night which it would rent for any other week of the year, or 2) Stay in a reasonable hotel for $1000 to $2000/night that would normally be in the $150 to $300/night range. For example, $40/night Super 8 is disgusting, and $300/night. $250/night Marriott is nice and clean, and $1000+/night. It's really a bad situation. I guess it all depends on how wealthy you are. If you're the type who can easily throw away $1000+/night, then hey, nice hotels are open and available. Are you the type where a couple hundred/night is fine, but normally that gets you a nice hotel? Well, here in Augusta during Masters week, you're going to be staying at the flea bag roach motel like the Super 8, or its sister properties, with bugs, dirt, cigarette holes in nearly everything, weird fluids, stains and broken amenities. With that being said, ignoring the sleeping situation, the Masters is simply incredible. You'll never see a golf course like it anywhere. Most courses would like to have a green as smooth as the rough at the Masters. Most courses would like to have someone removing pine needles as they fall. You will simply not find anything as well groomed as this anywhere in the world. Anyway, here's my tips. It is well worth it to purchase a ticket to Wednesday practice rounds. If you have tickets to the tournament, great, but you won't have any pictures to remember your experience. A picture is worth a thousand words, and since I took 1400+ pictures during just the Wednesday practice round, I guess my day was worth an encyclopedia. I walked the full course, took pics of everything, and it was awesome. It's sooo much more enjoyable to be able to look back at the pics after the fact. For that reason alone, I have to recommend that if you can only go to the Masters once, and you can only go to one day, give up on the tournament and do Wednesday so you can take pictures. Price-wise, it's creeping up. In years past, drinks (soda, sports drink, beer) were a couple dollars, now beers are $4 for Miller Lite (the 2015 choice) and $5 for Amstel Light. Food is still reasonably cheap, but washing it down is getting pricey. The gift shop is getting a bit out of hand. $120+ for a $30 shirt with a Masters logo on it. $15 for a $2 key chain with a Masters logo. Most of the gear is now made in China too. You get it, if it has a Masters logo, prepare yourself. Still incredible either way. Once in a lifetime experience.

So where do you begin to review Heaven? I'm a very lucky man I've been to the Masters for almost 20 years and have a couple of friends as members and have been blessed to play the course. The staff from every angle is fantastic and takes the very best of care of you from the moment your feet touch the ground until your bottom is firmly affixed to your car seat. You can see that Mr. Jones's vision is firmly affixed. The club house from the moment you walk in is a de facto Memorial to golf. Everything a golf fan would want to see, from the founding of the club until now. You walk in the footsteps of the legends of golf from Mr. Jones, Sneed, Hogan, Nicklaus, Palmer, Player, LOL you get the picture your walking where they've been. If you're into golf its wicked cool. The course good grief Charlie Brown I I took a divot out of the first tee and thought I was going to cry. LOL my buddy assured me that I'd not go to golf hell for this transgression. My caddy an extremely nice and forgiving man could not have offered more sage or needed advice at every possible moment. Not going to give away my score but lets just say Tiger hasn't a worry in the world. The restaurant was phenomenal the things a chef can do with a simple club sandwich. Met Mr. Payne and a few other members and to a person all very pleasant folks. LOL kind of hard to be a goof in Heaven. The clubhouse staff a exactly what you expect topnotch. When we adjourned from lunch and returned to our lockers my golf clothes had been cleaned, pressed and my ratty old foot joys shined to look better than the day I bought them. LOL They've not seen tera firma since they rest on my office desk in a plexiglass case. So if ever you're fortunate enough to get an invite jump on it and you'll never have a regret.

Excellent golf course at a fair price. My only disappointment is that they did not serve Schlitz cocktails at the turn. If they had told us ahead of time we would have brought our own.

Bottom line: it does not get any better than a day at The Master's. Wait - it might, if a) you're so lucky as to go as the guest of a member; b) you actually get to play the course yourself; and/or c) you get to spend the night in one of the little houses. Growing up a hard-core Daddy's girl, I thought it was fun (really, I did) to watch golf on TV with my avid-golfer father. We did this any Sunday a tournament was on and I wasn't at tennis practice, and there's still something calming I find about sitting on the sofa with him watching the best play their hearts out. My dad is an excellent golfer and I was convinced when I was five that he was actually playing in the Masters, not just there as a guest. When I got to go home to Augusta with a gf my last year of college, it made my dad jealous: her dad is a member there and we got the Royal Treatment, bar none. As a Southerner, a sports enthusiast and a golf fan, I was in heaven. From going to the National the day before the practice round (and hearing how members actually come out and help "tend" the course right before the tournament) to eating one of those delish chicken sandwiches, to having a "Member's" guest pass that gave me access to any and every part of the club (well, not the mens locker room, of course)...it was spectacular. And that Easter weekend was beautiful, so besides the tournament festivities, we got to enjoy schmancy Augusta society events with parties, brunches, and watching the final minutes of the tournament on Sunday at the country club. So I got to do a (above) and Dad has done b and c. He trumped me a couple years after my awesome visit by not only getting to play the course (thanks to one of his best friends who worked for EZGo) but get to spend the night in one of the houses!! Talk about a man being in heaven. Everything is so beautiful at Augusta National, and so well cared-for. It is a privilege to get to visit. It was a happy coincidence when my last insurance job was with Mutual of Omaha, a big sponsor of PGA and LPGA athletes, and that gave me another opportunity to enjoy spring days in one of the finest sporting venues in the country. I think the Practice Round is my favorite thing to witness, followed by a Saturday visit when things start getting intense. If you haven't been - find a way to go. Even if you're not a big golf afficianado, the experience itself is worth it.Now I just have to figure out a way to get D (my other die-hard golf fan) there this year . . .

Augusta National is one of the world's most renowned golf courses and home of the annual Masters Tournament. I reviewed the Masters Tournament yesterday. As many know, Augusta National is one of the most exclusive and famous golf clubs in the world. It was co-founded by golf legend and Georgia Tech grad Bobby Jones. He died in 1971, but still remains "President in Perpetuity." As a club, I think Augusta does an excellent job each year organizing and running the Masters Tournament. For such an in-demand tournament, they let in as many people as possible to attend the event in person. So while tickets and badges can be hard to obtain, there are thousands upon thousands of people already planning to attend. I feel that all of the operations are run smoothly. This includes gate check, security, the gift shops, concessions, groundskeeping, scorekeeping, and more. Two years ago, Augusta added an enormous free parking lot for patrons. On the course, there are several stands with great viewing angles, multiple designated seating areas, and strategically placed traditional over/under scoreboards. The club really wants the patrons to enjoy themselves and have a memorable experience. Augusta likes to keep things simple and old fashioned, yet also be on the cutting edge. Clifford Roberts (co-founder) was against commercialization at the club. Examples of this that exist today include selling Coke at concession stands under the name "Cola" and Snickers candy bars as "Candy." The prices are great too. Moon pies are two for a dollar and sandwiches are $1.50. My friend's dad has played Augusta 10 times (!) because he worked many years at the Masters as a Gallery Guard. Seven long days = one round of play. I got to see his collection of scorecards from Augusta and the scorecards are as simple as it gets: all white, Augusta National logo on front, inside is just the hole number, par, and yardage. Nothing else. Very cool. (Interesting fact: Augusta National has never been officially rated by the USGA.) Technology-wise, Augusta tries to be on the forefront. Their web site (Masters.com) is as beautiful as their course. There are multiple live HD feeds from around the course throughout tournament weekend along with various video features and vignettes either telling the history of the club, great moments at the Masters, or interviews/diaries of the amateurs. Augusta was the first to broadcast their tournament in HD in 2000 (who had an HDTV back then?) and this year, the first to broadcast golf in 3D. Most recently, they allowed their golf course to be used in a video game. In an effort to gain new and younger fans and also shake a bit of their "old man" image, Augusta worked with EA Sports to include their course in the latest edition of Tiger Woods PGA Tour (available on Wii, 360, PS3, and PC). They even sold this game at the Masters. This was a really big step forward for them because up until this point, they did not license out their course or brand. I have played on really nice courses such as Pebble Beach, St. Andrews, Kapalua, Doral, and Harbour Town. Each of those courses are incredible and amazing in their own right, but I still have never seen a more immaculate and well-manicured course than that at Augusta. The attention to detail is impeccable. That's how nice it is -- probably because they don't let hacks like me play on it. Augusta is always in pristine condition come Masters week. The greens are in perfect shape and there is nothing but over 7,000 yards of fairways and rough (what little rough there is) with not a single blade of dry grass or weed to be found. Even the ponds are incredibly clean. Each hole at Augusta is named after a tree or shrub on the course, of which there are many in full bloom in the Spring. In the end, it all creates for a wonderful and memorable experience no matter what day or occasion.

My comment is for those of you that like to play golf, keep up with the pros on TV, and are thinking about travelling thru Augusta and would like to get a glimpse of the facility. If you want to keep your dignity intact, don't go near the place. There is no visitor parking, no access to the gift shop, nor is there even a billboard that says "Welcome to Augusta National Golf Course, Home of the Masters." But if you do show up looking to take a picture, the only thing you'll find there are security guards that are happy to let you know what a piece of crap you are for daring to show interest in such a prestigious place that you aren't even worthy to lick the dirt off the cleats that have walked the course. As far as I'm concerned, if they don't want curious people coming around looking for photos or to buy souvenirs, they shouldn't be hosting televised events.

The most Extra you can be. I had tears in my eyes walking up. Perma smile on my face all day. Was lucky enough to patronize on Tuesday, so we brought our 35MM. Now I have a practice round photo of Tiger, Phil, and Freddy on the 18th. Does it get any better?

Augusta National is located right off Washington Rd in the heart of Augusta and off a beautiful road called Magnolia Lane. This road is lined with HUGE Magnolia trees that hang over the road that leads to the Founders Circle and Clubhouse. Every single sq foot of this golf course and the surrounding grounds is beautiful. The azaleas in the spring are huge and bright, the ponds are clean and the course is perfect. This is a very prestigious Golf Club....women are not allowed to be members. Only men. And it is an Un-Godly amount of money to become a member. We went to The Master's this past weekend. It was my 2nd time going. There is nothing bad to say about this place or the tournament. The people who work here are all friendly and seem happy to be there, the food and drinks services are great and the place is beautiful. Its not easy but if it ever happens that you get a chance to go here....GO!

Everyone on here is complaining that they could take a picture or just drive up and look at the course. There are rules and they stick to there rules and that is what makes them the best. No phones, no shorts, no P.I. It's an awesome place.

I have had the good fortune to attend the Masters Golf Tournament for the past two years. The course is beautiful and well maintained, which is a Captain Obvious remark. Some things you might not know: The bathrooms have several attendants inside who are "directing traffic" and will point out the open urinals, "two open on the back nine," and such witty comments. The lines move quickly. The pimento cheese sandwiches and egg salad sandwiches are only $1.50 each, which is a real bargain. The line for souvenirs is VERY crowded in the morning, but later in the day it dies down significantly, plus there are smaller souvenir shops out on the course. Polo shirts are about $80 each. If you bring in a cell phone, you will have to check it or get thrown out. There is a very strict rule about cell phones not being allowed, but each concession stand has a bank of telephones that are free for use, courtesy of AT&T. No cameras either on tournament days. We walked 7 miles around the course on Thursday, day one of the tournament. Parking in a nearby lot was $20 for the day. Draft beer is $4 domestic, $5 import each but you get a plastic souvenir cup with it. No autographs on tournament days.

The "best place in the world"! Utterly spectacular! The atmosphere among patrons is unprecedented! Must go once in your life!

I was lucky enough to be able to attend the Wednesday practice rounds and the Par 3 competition. By far the beat golf course I have ever seen. The greens are beautiful, the setting is beautiful, and the energy is amazing. If you get the opportunity to come, do not pass it up. I love this place and hope to be back.

This review is for the person who plays Augusta and not the Masters. I wondered and searched for days before I played to get some insight but couldn't find anything so I'm doing this one. I was able to play through a business associate is all I will say. First off...no shorts so wear pants and your cell phone stays in the car. You can bring a camera but that is it. The entrance is gated with a security guard, tell him your name and he'll check his book and let you through. Everyone has on regular golf attire (I went gray pants/white shirt) so no need to look like Ricky Fowler unless you want to look out of place. No offense to Ricky...I wear his clothes just not to play Augusta. I went in with my group and caddies met us in the parking lot. You don't choose a caddie, they choose you so don't worry about that part. They watch you warm up, it's a cool experience hitting ProV's on a range. Do not tip the caddies before or after the round...that was told to me strongly more than once. Next is walking to the first tee, enjoy the walk as you first see the Holy Grail. Employees walk down from the buildings to watch you tee off. All in all, there were about 15 people watching me tee off including our group. No pressure right? I hit first and the nerves got me and I topped it just off the tee box...lol. Everyone said hit another so I did and roasted it up in the fairway. Listen to your caddies because they know where to be and where not to be. Walking the course was fantastic and of course I stood in the spots where the pro's had made those unbelievable shots. I dropped a ball and hit out of the pine straw where Mickelson did around the tree. My shot didn't hit the green but the feeling was incredible. The greens are like nothing you've ever putted on. Like I said before...listen to your caddie as they will show you the line for putting. After the round you'll go eat in the clubhouse and the food/service is impeccable. They have golf clubs around there from past champions you can check out. I changed in the locker room and was able to walk around the lockers. You'll see all the names you would think just waiting on them to come back. When you finish eating you can go to the pro shop and buy some items. Make sure you buy items because the ones in the pro shop have "Augusta National" on them. Everyone else you see will have only the logo or "Masters" on their items while yours says "Augusta National." Hopefully this helps out if you are in line to play soon. All in all, the course is heaven on earth and what a great experience to check off the bucket list.

Not sure what I have to do to be able to play a round here.. anybody friends with Bill Gates? Lol the place is heaven for golfers... been to the Masters and loved it. A must for all golfers.

I was fortunate enough to attend the Masters this year and was blown away by this amazing piece of property. From the second you step on the property, the staff and volunteers greet you and engage with you in the kindest manner. Throughout the day, I must have crossed paths with over 100 hundred workers and volunteers and all of them were as nice as could be. The property itself is indescribable. It's perfect. The practice facility is like none other, the grass is as good as it gets, and the scenery is picture perfect. It's so good it looks fake. I started out in the pro shop and bought all of my merchandise as soon as the gates opened and checked it in the check stand area. The merchandise and check stand employees were ell extremely friendly and helpful. From there it was time to check out the concessions. Stadiums and arenas should take notes on how AGNC not only manages their prices, but how the concessions are designed. It's basically a glorified cafeteria as you walk in, pick out what you want and cash out. Simple, easy and you never have to wait for any of your food as it's already made and kept fresh. The chicken biscuit, pimento cheese sandwich, egg salad sandwich, BBQ sandwich, cookies and caramel popcorn were excellent. Yes, I had all of the above items. In fact, I even brought some sandwiches home for my road trip back to Florida. The golf course itself is fantastic. It's so well manicured that one could only dream of playing there. The undulation is incredible and TV really doesn't do it justice. As a golf fan and industry professional, this exceeded my expectations and I hope one day I'll make it back.

Because golf & duh. Lifelong golf fan and finally won the lottery for a Saturday round at sport's most sought after live event. I kinda thought there was no way it could live up to how I had it built it up in my mind. BLEW. IT. OUT. OF. THE. WATER. To much to try and describe, best way to say it is that I just got goosebumps thinking back to that wonderful day in April my brother and I walked the hallowed grounds and heard the historic roars of Augusta.

Augusta National Golf Club is as beautiful as it gets. It is the "holy grail' of golf courses in the world. The club is extremely private and only opens to public for one week out of 52 weeks in a year. No one knows how many members or how to become a member, you can only be invited. I worked here for the first time this year during the Masters Tournament and I had the opportunity to walk the course and watch Bubba Watson, Phil Mickelson and Jordan play, one of the fastest green I have seen. Absolutely amazing experience that one will remember for life. Must go to Amen corner if you have the chance and try out the peach ice cream sandwich and keep the cups they give you at the concessions. Food is really affordable. $1.5-3 bucks for a sandwich and $3 for a cup of beer, not bad for a sports event, compared to the superbowl...... Absolutely a great experience if you can play the course, but also a great experience during Masters week. the Course is really well managed and the fairway and green is just perfect. Just a note, if you wanna get some masters stuff for your pals, get them as early as you can because they do run out of stuff at the golf shop. Don't expect to get your stuff when you decide to go shopping on a Sunday, things start running out on Thursday and Friday. Bring sunscreen and laid back mindset. It's real relaxing environment. Also, NO CELL PHONE on property. Have fun on the course or during tournament.

We were here for the Masters Practice round. The golf course is amazing. But what impressed me most was how nice everyone was. From the concessions people to the folks who worked the restrooms. I would having I encountered working at my business. Thank you for a great experience. In addition, we were trained out for a couple hours and the team their was so efficient in getting people back on the course. Very organized. Great job all around.

I've lived in the CSRA since 1990 and had my first visit to the Augusta National Golf Club TODAY. We were selected to purchase tickets to the Drive, Chip and Putt Championship. It was absolutely magical. The property was immaculate, and everything was well-organized. Golf Shop had lots of great choices - in all price ranges. I was shocked at how reasonable the food prices were. $1.50 for a "legendary" sandwich ?? Unbelievable and truly so refreshing in this day and age. So used to venues trying to rip us off ! The crowds were just right today - never once felt frustrated or crowded. Only disappointment was the very limited access to the actual course. Fingers crossed for tickets to the Practice Rounds or Tournament next year. Was a perfect first-time experience !

As pristine as pristine gets. The club hired absolutely top-notch people to work the Masters. Everyone was so friendly and polite and efficient...such a breath of fresh air. The prices for everything are very affordable ...just know that the food quality will match the prices. The name of the game here is pre-made/just cover costs, so deli sandwiches with processed cheese is what you will get for $2. THE BEST thing to eat is the BBQ pork sandwich. Wow, good. Coffee is pretty good, too. Beers are $4/$5. I almost wish they would raise the prices by $1 and bump up the quality. Grounds are what you would expect...stunningly beautiful. Terrific experience.

Hello friends... welcome to a tradition unlike any other. There should be a 6th star option on Yelp. I would reserve this rating solely for Augusta National Golf Club and MAYBE The Old Course at. St. Andrews. But Augusta for sure. Honestly though, its Augusta National, so is a review even necessary? This place is heaven on Earth for golf fans. No, seriously, I thought I had actually died and was in heaven the first time I was here. It is a world truly its own. Augusta and the Masters are amazing enough that every time I come here, I still get goosebumps and am truly in awe. I think Augusta National is the only physical PLACE that has the honor of saying that it has reduced me to tears. Yeah, I love this place that much. I once heard someone say "I strolled awestruck onto the hallowed grounds of Augusta National Golf Club seemingly oblivious to the herd of spectators surrounding me. I truly felt alone in my own little dream." This sums the experience up perfectly. Everything about the place is perfect - the lines to get in, the no phones policy, the bathroom attendants, the ENDLESS selection at the gift shop (yes I need a Masters hat in three colors), the $3 Stellas and of course the pimento cheese and egg salad sandwiches. I usually eat 2 or 3 a day. Whoops. Calories don't count at the Masters, plus, hey, you walk it off. My suggestions: start at 18 and walk the course backwards. Appreciate how hilly it is in person. Remark to everyone around you who will listen that it "doesn't look this hilly on TV." Linger at 16 and appreciate the pond. Head to Amen Corner and admit to yourself that life DOES NOT get any better than this moment. Go to the 6 tee box and take that par 3 in. Don't be in any hurry. The course will be there all day. Enjoy. every. moment. The combination of all of the above is the reason I dream of Masters week the other 51 weeks of the year. Yessir!

If you are craving pimento cheese, this is the place to get it the 2nd weekend in April! One of the most beautiful golf courses in the world and one of the most exclusive. They do a wonderful job organizing and executing the Masters (which is the only way any normal Joe would get in there anyway). The course was gorgeous as always and the grounds are as beautifully kept as usual. The azaleas, the trees, heck even the pine straw - everything is beautiful. Absolutely beautiful course. During Masters week, the best times to enjoy the course itself are as follows: 1) Practice rounds (Monday-Wednesday) --Crowds are thinner, making the course more accessible to those in attendance. Also, these are the only times during the event where you can take pictures of the grounds. 2) Early morning-- Arrive as soon as the gates open and take the opportunity to enjoy the sun rise while you wander the entirety of the course. You'll see the last grooming efforts taking place. This is a good time to scout out an ideal spot to place folding chairs and reserve seats. 3) Late evening-- Enjoy sunset over the course. The stark greens of the grounds make the colors of the sunset all the more beautiful. The 18th hole at the end of the day is often incredibly crowded, making it impossible for even the tallest patron to see the leaders put-in. Instead of contending with this mob, take a seat around a bordering green and enjoy the scenic sunset while listening to the tournament play out.

I have never been to any sporting event that is more organized or well run as The Masters at Augusta National. It truly was a magical experience, and I can not wait until I can return. The parking is free, the food and beverages are very reasonable. Anytime there is a line, you can expect that you will not wait long. It does not matter how long that line is. They get things moving quickly. I love the fact that they will store all of your merchandise for you free of charge. It was so nice to not have to carry that bag around all day! When I die, I would like for some of my ashes to be spread here. It's the only way I can think of that will allow me to be there on a regular basis. I hope to return many many more times!!

Fantastic. First class all the way. Course is amazing and sure love the tuna salad sandwiches. :) 13 and 15 are to easy par 5's, but only because our association that was suppose to protect the game, let the clubs and balls get out of hand. Long live Ray Floyd.

Three golf courses matter on earth. 1 Augusta National 2. Pebble Beach 3 Old Course at St. Andrews All others are a few yards behind those 3.

Yes I have been off and on all my life as I grew up in Augusta. It is truly beautiful during the Spring when the tournament is going on. That is the only time I have ever been, though...during the tournament.

There is nothing to add about this place that hasnt already been written. If you like golf, then you would be happy to have this place be the home of your last round! Do anything to play here.

I went to the Masters 11 years ago with some friends and it was an amazing experience that I will never forget. The best way I've heard it described is when you step onto the grounds at Augusta National it is like when Dorothy stepped out of her black and white house into the vibrant colors of OZ! A perfectly run tournament and guest experience...

I have been to the Masters Golf Tournament over twenty times. A mark of a great business is to improve the customer experience over time. I just returned from my last visit and Augusta National proved to me that they are six stars in a five star system. From the people parking cars, to the ushers helping you along the way to the gate, to the gate keepers, to the inside staff: you will find no equal. Then you have to watch the best of the best golf on the best manicured site in the galaxy. Let's say seven stars vs. six.

ok so if you are reading the reviews and just looking at the bad ones like C Aaron J. just dont bother because i lived in augusta my whole life and even worked at the masters. so take it from me the masters is the most beautiful golf course in the world and it. it amazing for people that love golf. but if you want to take a look at the golf course and you dont have a ticket you better be sure you will get escorted off the property very very fast. also a response to C Aaron J the reason why the are no signs saying welcome to the augusta nationals is because no one needs to tell you that you are by the nationals all of the PEOPLE should tell you that you are by the augusta nationals. And the is visitor parking its called buying a ticket and going to park in the open field. and dont worry you will still have a little bit of luxury because there are people telling you where to park. And finally if you think the reason why you didnt get treated nicely was because the people at the augusta nationals dont care about. WELL YOU ARE WRONG VERY WRONG. You are there top priority as long as you have a ticket. you can literally ask the people that work there anything and they will do it. so i feel like the reason why C Aaron J had such a bad time was because he didnt buy a ticket. thank you maxwell :)

When you think of Augusta, you think of golf, thanks to the Augusta National Golf Club and all that they do in the CSRA. Most people do not realize how much they help the economy and the donations and charity groups that they support each year, lived in Augusta 60 years now and proud to say I am from Augusta, Georgia thanks to this group/a true class act!

From the receptionist Maria to all of the groomers, they are so kind and professional! Our border collie always looks so beautiful and I know they go above and beyond to please us. I am a fan!

yelp should add a 6th star. there is nothing like the masters. better than the kentucky derby. better than the us open tennis final. unbelievable experience. $2 beers...$1.50 sandwiches...amazing golf tournament. unfortunately there is not much else to do in augusta...

Two words: absolutely gorgeous. It's such an experience that's hard to put into words. Once your inside the gates, you can't help but feel like you're not in Augusta anymore - the scenery is astounding, with explosions of trademark azaleas in an array of different colors, outlining the slopes of their famous lush, green grass... it's breathtaking. I've only been fortunate enough to attend last year's Practice Round on Wednesday, but I really enjoyed watching the Par 3 Contest and being able to see golfing legends---that I've only read about or seen on television---practicing right in front of me and so up close! And seeing them in such a relaxed setting being playful with their children was so neat, definitely a special moment I'll always remember. The pimento cheese sandwiches were yummy, along with everything else they had to snack on. I really don't know how some people were walking around in heels, since I wore comfortable athletic walking shoes and my feet were still sore by the end of the day. But you don't even notice their hurting while you're there, walking around the grounds is just such an amazing experience, and something I hope to experience someday again!

Even if you are not a member...this is one place you need to see before you die! Bucket List for sure!
