Aunt Betty's is the best! Wish we had them back home. Of all the ice cream parlors I've ever been to (this one several times and others many) Aunt Betty's is hands down #1. Great portions. Awesome service. Good selection too. I tell others about it at home and spread the word. Keep up the great work!

We tried the ice cream here and it was excellent. They have so many flavors and so many specials. They were all delicious! I got the Ocean Breeze which has mint chocolate ice cream and it was so good. The kids got rainbow ice and they loved it. It is definitely worth the money

Best ice cream shop in OCNJ. SO Many flavors of ice cream, cones & sundae’s. My favorite has been the Moose Tracks & chocolate peanut butter on a waffle cone. The size of the ice cream balls are about 3” & generous! The staff are helpful & so friendly! Worth the visit!

My husband and I both got ice cream and waffles. The waffles were delicious and the ice cream was very tasty as well. We will definitely be going back here and recommend it!!

Great ice cream! Often a long line on the weekends in the summer, but it moves fast and the servers are always extremely friendly. I love walking here with the family after dinner. (They also have dairy free and gluten free flavors!)

Aunt Betty's Ice Cream Shack is hands down one of our favorite stops when we're in Ocean City! We've been here a few times over the past couple of years, and each visit just gets better. The ice cream selection is huge! I'm a chocolate fanatic, so I always go for their chocolate flavors, and they never let me down.. My wife got a banana split and it was amazing! The kids loved their ice cream cones too. It's a real treat for the whole family. The place is super clean, and the vibe is really chill. You can take your ice cream to go or stay inside and enjoy it there. The staff is always friendly and makes you feel right at home. If you're in Ocean City, Aunt Betty's is a must-visit! We can't wait to come back next year. Remember to support small businesses in your area.

Great little shop! We stopped in to pick up a few quarts of ice cream for our niece and nephew during COVID-19. No line on a summer Friday evening at 5:00 PM and since the space is very small, only 2 or 3 people are allowed in at a time due to the pandemic. Masks and gloves are donned by the staff and masks are required for all customers. There were tons of ice cream flavor options in addition to non-dairy options as well. We selected the Birthday Cake, the Peanut Butter, and the Salted Caramel Cookies and Cream. Each pint is $14, which is pricey, but it's Hershey's ice cream so you know it's going to rock your world. And rock our worlds it did! The two young ladies working there were sweet and helpful with recommendations. This is a grab-and-go place with no chairs nor tables outside. I can imagine a crazy line at peak times during the summer months. Thanks, Aunt Betty!

You can't go wrong here (other then arriving at the wrong time.) Can have really long waits, but you'll understand why. They have a lot of great options, big variety, and creative combinations. Portions are really good sized. Awesome perk with being attached to Uncle Bills, as you get to take advantage of their pancake/waffle selections.

Your at the shore, you just returned from a great dinner where you skipped desert so you would have room for ice cream. You look at the options and decide on Aunt Betty's, As you turn the corner you spot the line. See my photo. Normally I'm ok with a line except on a night with no wind so the bugs made desserts out of us. Aunt Betty has good ice cream. However they are takeout only. And can only handle 6 or 8 guests inside at a time, once inside they are quick to take your order and move you down the line. Now you have your dessert that you paid more per scoop than a price a 1/2 gallon cost at the store, you now find yourself back outside with the bugs and no place to sit to enjoy this summer treat. The ice cream was good however next time we look for a place we can dine indoors

This is THE spot for ice cream in Ocean City. Aunt Betty's has so many delicious flavors, sundaes and everything in between to choose from. Their staff is always friendly and efficient with large groups. In my most recent visit, I got Cappuccino Crunch in a small cup and my boyfriend got Brownie Batter in a waffle cone. In the summer time they are open from 12-11PM every day of the week so check them out!!

100% recommend for Gluten free! Nina and Lauren were fabulous and extremely careful with our gluten allergy. They have gluten free cones, and they were so accommodating to make sure of no cross contamination. Nina made sure to scrape off the top of the water ice for my son, and they opened brand new containers for the ice creams!

Simple and straight forward... Pros: Cons: High quality ice cream. Very small space. Excellent sizes and toppings. A tad expensive Great service. Friendly staff. Fast moving line. Tons of flavors. Overall, would eat there again!

I have been going to Aunt Betty's for a few years and have always had a great experience. It wasn't until today when I went in and a worker named Jess started being rude. She was not friendly and did not make today a positive experience. Will not be coming back for a while.

Absolutely amazing service and environment great for kids to run around while you enjoy some of the most amazing ice cream on the island. The "Scoopers" are the most friendly and happy people and genuinely enjoy being there to serve your family ice cream. Scoops are perfect size for the price and they have some of the most unique flavors, like graham central station. I can not express how much my family and myself love this place. It is also owned by the most amazing family, so you know your money is going to a wholesome place. They also hand make their waffle cones... fresh everyday... INSANELY GOOD.

Soft serve vanilla and chocolate lacks flavor and has a watery texture. They must use the cheapest mix that they can find and charge $5 and up for a cone. Try WaWa. Better ice cream and prices. Also $8 for a milkshake! Thin and warm. Stay away. They prey on the tourists. Oh- cash only as well.

Aunt Betty never lets us down. Always a great selection with friendly service. Don't forget to bring your cash as credit cards are not accepted. Never fear, there is an ATM on the side patio. Enjoy!

I already love Aunt Betty's as it is, but when we went the other day we were served by a very sweet and helpful employee named Jess. My 8 year old has a peanut allergy and she made sure everything was sanitized and safe for him. She even gave him extra sprinkles! Give her a raise!

Set solid portions and prices of ice cream at this shop near the place we stayed at. I had this peanut butter special Sunday it was massive and truly amazingly great. Kids had large cones and everybody was happy. Highly Recommend if you are in the area.

hated all the staff, especially at the 40th street location. they were all so rude. they didn't even take my order right the first time. i went there back in july and will never go back.

We've been vacationing in Ocean City for over a decade. Now, it is a tradition to bring our 7 year old son every summer. We've been renting the same home for 8 years now right down the street from Aunt Betty's and always look forward to walking to get ice cream. It is Labor Day weekend so it is crowded here at the shore, and after spending time at the boardwalk we decided not to get ice cream there because we needed to go to Aunt Betty's for one final time of the summer. When we arrived there, they had 10 minutes till closing. I had asked if they were still able to make half a waffle and the girl told me, "sure". Mind you, the three of us ordered our ice cream, ate it outside at one of the tables, and left by 11:08....as did a few other customers. As I was waiting for the waffle, I heard one of the workers say, "this is so rude - we are closing in 5 minutes". Though it took everything in me not to say anything, I find it comical that these younger girls have no concept of customer service or perhaps running a business. I can assure Aunt Betty's that they will never again be inconvenienced...at least not by me...because you totally lost our business. There are a ton of ice cream places in Ocean City....one that would be happy to get the business especially at the closing of summer.

I consider myself an ice cream connoisseur and this place is my go when I'm in OC. Hands down the best ice cream on the island. Friendly staff, great variety of flavors and good service. Highly recommend Aunt Betty's!

Ice cream was good but service was horrible. The young ladies that work there in evening where rude and acting like we where putting them out for asking questions about the sizes. Went back second night to see if it would be better and again they have no personality for the vacationers. They should smile and make us want to come back. Kids where afraid to order
