This place is a pretzel shop 🥨, ice cream 🍦 parlor, and cinnamon rolls spot mixed together! Auntie Anne's near Times Square 🗽 is also a Cinnabon and an Carvel - the perfect spot for sweets 🧁 and dessert! 🍪 Staff 👨‍🍳 is friendly and the service is super quick! ⏲️ They have no seating 🪑 so be prepared to grab-and-go! 🥡 I wish I could come here more often!

Google
Great quick bite at Times Square. A bit pricey I believe 1 cup of mini hot dogs is 7.99 however it is delicious. Disadvantage is its tinny and there is always a line. And if you go later during the day there is a chance they won't have many products available. Cups look small however they are quite filling.

Google
We've tried the original pretzel which was actually very good (with an interesting slight butter flavor that mixes well with the salt crystals). I recommend it if you are avoiding foodtrucks but still want to try a tasty pretzel !

Google
Food is good. The workers are rude and disrespectful. I had asked a question regarding prices and when the worker told me differently then what was on the menu, I was clearly confused. That is when she raised her voice, rudely told me if I wanted to pay 6.41 for the menu in taxes then that "was my dumb choice." I should be treated with respect as I am a paying customers. Left flabbergasted and ended up canceling my order. Rude and unprofessional. Need to hire better people.

Google
Best Pretzel chain in NewYork. Sweet warm and crispy with a soft and fluffy centre. Lots of options to choose from and all freshly made. Queues stretch out of the door of the small shop onto the street.

Google
We reached today at 10:08 am in the morning to the restaurant as it was mentioned that the store timing is from 10 am in the google map; however it turned out that the restaurant was closed. There was a worker inside and we knocked on the door and tried to get his attention but he didn’t reply. We waited hoping that restaurant will open but after waiting sometime the worker finally responded saying that the restaurant will open at 11 am. It was a bummer considering for the restaurant timing mentioned on the google map was 10 am to open. kindly update the correct restaurant timing on the google location. Thank you.

Google
A very small pretzel and Cinnabon place right by the Port Authority. It is more like a storefront than an actual store. The food is hot and fresh but I can't see spending four bucks on a pretzel no matter how good. Lines move very slowly.

Google
Slim pickins - Cinnabon had most options available. Pretzels, not so much. Barely anything to choose from. Wait for another flavor was told to be an 8 minute wait to the customer in front of me. Employee seemed to completely hate his job and was not friendly by any means.

Yelp
Two things. Price must have went up because I don't remember paying $7 for a roll. It's not even hot to the point that when I put a fork it melts apart. It's sweet and good but wish it was warmer or microwaved or something when I order it. Service was good and staff was nice to me. The spot is small and more of a order and go.

Yelp
This tiny place is combined with a Cinnabon and basically like a walk up kiosk. So no seating and no restroom. The location is prime! Right by port authority, buses with lines of tourists, and the subway exactly right next to it. So I was there at 11am right when it's supposedly open. Very busy area. Waited 20 min and no one ever came to open up shop. Left and tried calling at 12:30 and still no answer. Who knows when they opened but finally someone answered in the afternoon and said yea sometimes things come up and we don't open but usually it's 11. Hmmm strange. Anyway I was back in the area in the evening and got in that big line since I was craving a pretzel all day! Since they were behind on orders, I waited maybe 30 min. At last - a fresh hot cinnamon sugar pretzel was out and in my hand! This really hit the spot since it was freshly made. Patience is a virtue... finally a hot pretzel in my hand.

Yelp
I walked in not expecting much. It's a location in Time Square... you know what to expect. The ONLY TWO LADIES in there blew me away. Why? Customer service. One was working on counting, but said with the brief-est of glances, "I'll be right with you." Simple, but rare. And her manager makes sure you looks to me as well. That's enough for me, especially in New York or LA or anywhere really. So kind and courteous. Make stop here, I promise you'll feel like a star. THANK YOU LADIES!
google avatar

Yelp
If you want to stand on line go here. If you want to get a pretzel better go somewhere else. Its location is off the beaten path. If you're not aware of its presence you probably won't visit. There's always a line since it's around the corner from Times Square. Inside the store is like to buy two so you only fit one person or two people in at a time. Whenever I stopped by staff is short is only two or three people behind the counter and not a lot of pretzels being made. I've been to this location twice and I've gotten half my order half of the time. The last time they don't even have my item ready and told me it would be a 10 minute wait mind you I just watched 8 people leave the store with only one item. So what do they have ready?

Yelp
Lately I have been getting their pretzel as our movie snack. Auntie Anne's Pretzel can be easily veganized just by asking to make a fresh batch without butter. You only have to wait less than 10 minutes for it to be baked. The staff never gave me any problems when I ask to make a fresh batch. My favorite is the sweet almonds. So yummy. The advantage of this is you always get fresh pretzel out of the oven.
google avatar

Joshua E.

Yelp
These people should be ashamed of the way they do business. First I ask for a sour cream and onion pretzel and a cinammon pretzel. Then she tells me she only has salt pretzels and so if I want a sour cream and onion pretzel I have to wait. So I'm like okay how long do I have to wait for? She screams to her coworkers and they literally say we don't know how long it will take. Are you serious? You bake pretzels all day, you work for a franchise with standard operating procedures and you don't know how long it will take to bake your most standard product?? Then I decide to tell her I'll wait but that I had a coupon. The coupon says buy one pretzel and get a free cinnamon or original pretzel but she claims i can only get a cinnamon or original to get a free original or cinnamon. This of couurse was not the case and I even got another email verifying that I could buy any pretzel and get a cinnamon or original for free. I don't often write negative reviews but the attitude on the whole staff was just ridiculous and they clearly did not care about their customer. Most Auntie Anne's locations are quite courteous but this one was awful.

Lisa D.

Yelp
This review is for the Palisades mall location. The staff are horrible. I placed a large online order for my daughte's bday party. Apparently they were out of some of the things we ordered and didn't feel like filling our order, so they just cancelled it without even letting us know. We showed up to get the food and they unapologetically informed us they decided to cancel the order because it was too much work! At that point it was too late to make other arrangements, so we were very embarrassed not to have the treats for our guests! Ridiculous!

Yelp
I love pretzels and AA has some great ones that are just the right amount of diabetes. If you like spicy and you like cheese-y flavors GET THE SALSA cheddar. I could bathe in a vat of that stuff. (Not really.) That being said- This particular half AA/ half cinabon, excuse my language: sucks. I have no idea what the cashier's problem was; I personally go out of my way to try to be friendly to cashiers because I've done the whole cashier/fast food/ service gig, but THIS woman. ‍ She huffed every time she had to move, she took the LONGEST I've ever seen to ring up 3 people for a pretzel and she proceeded to talk to one of her friends standing in the corner the whole time. Not that I'm truly looking for a magical experience here from the good old AA, but come on, just get us in and out and you can continue having your convo with your girl pal. 2/5 ( cause I still loved and ate my pretzel with salsa cheese )

Yelp
Nice taste but the slowest service in the City.... Be ready to get in a 30 minutes line for 6 clients... 5 minutes each

Mary B.

Yelp
I did not eat at Auntie Ann's recently. I have in the past, though and I enjoy the pretzels very much. The service behind the kiosk has been consistently fine.
google avatar

Scott J.

Yelp
I mean the taste is good but jesus $9 for a cup of bread. Lol. It's so terribly unhealthy for you. When I went there there was barely any selection maybe 3 things. Staff was neutral. Place was small there is nowhere to sit. Maybe just skip the snack and wait for dinner.

Yelp
I came here on a Monday around lunch time. They weren't busy when I arrived, but about 4 people came in right behind me. There's no seating, so everything is to go. The inside is tiny. There's enough room for about 6 people to stand before it gets crowded. Customer service was quite good. They asked if I wanted extra pecans or icing on my purchases. They have regular cinnamon buns, pecan cinnamon buns, mini buns, churros, and only the center. They also have the pretzels and finger bite pretzels from Auntie Anne's, and probably some other things, but I didn't look closely at that side. I was too distracted by the cinnamon buns. You really have to plan your seating as there's no seating here. I took my Cinnabon to Sticky's on 9 Ave to enjoy them with some seating and fried chicken fingers.

Yelp
I wish I knew the name of the woman who helped me tonight. She is a rock star. There seemed to be a new hire at the cashier and he was struggling, but there is a woman who works here who is running this shit! She was like a tornado... putting together postmates orders, refilling the cinnabon display, and keeping an ear out for my order. When she could tell she needed to jump in, she did, and she made my 4 sundaes in like 3 minutes flat. When I realized I had forgotten a side of sprinkles, she happily threw some in for free. I paid a pretty expensive cab fare from the Upper East Side to get here because it's the only Carvel that I know about in Manhattan and Postmates sucks the big one. I will happily come back if this woman is working again because it was such a positive experience.
google avatar

Yelp
Bad customer service from the guy at the front counter. (A picture is added). My friend asked for a specific cup of cinnamon sticks and the guy kept saying "they're all the same" Well no, it's not the same because it's not the one my friend asked for. He waved for my friend to leave with nothing. Pretzel experience ruined by him.
google avatar

Sarah G.

Yelp
If you don't always give Auntie Anne's pretzels 5 stars, we can NOT be friends. Anyone who grew up in Suburbia, USA knows that these are the best things about our obligatory childhood trips to the mall with our parents. All these years have gone by and their recipe hasn't changed one bit. The soft, chewy, buttery saltiness makes 30-year-old Sarah feel 9 again. Don't you ever, ever say bad things about AA.
google avatar

Ken S.

Yelp
Order from this place all the time on ubereats. At least 50% of the time it shows up an hour late because of restaurant delays (if at all, it's often canceled) and hard as a rock. Would not recommend this location.
google avatar

Shibi M.

Yelp
i still can't believe i ate this shit for lunch. but one of my friends wanted to go, and a certain nostalgia of eating pretzels in the mall as a child obliged me to say yes. but this place doesn't have many options freshly baked. regardless, i decided to go 300 and get the hotdog pretzel bites and the center of the cinnabun, all for an 11 dollar heart attack meal. i was telling these aussie tourists on the way out that im going to regret it in a few hours. and boy did i. im pretty sure my body isnt used to this level of processed bullshit anymore. i think it gave me a headache honestly. ill probably eat another one of these in a decade or so.
google avatar

Yelp
This location is supposed to open at 10:00am on Sunday as posted on their website and google. I come in at 11:30 and no pretzels are prepared. NONE. The cashier, Antionette then tells me there will be a 6 minute wait for any pretzel. I paid and agreed to wait. I ultimately ended up waiting 25 minutes for a pretzel.
google avatar

Mel Y.

Yelp
I have a nostalgic fondness for Auntie Anne's pretzels, but I agree with other reviewers that the service here isn't stellar, but not horrific either. This location is pretty small (three or four people will fill up the line) and they seem to only ever have original, almond, or hot dog bites in the heating area. I assume that's because they get a lot of foot traffic from Times Square, though it is no less disappointing. I've had the original pretzel twice in the past couple weeks and it's definitely been less fluffier and thinner than at some other locations. It would be nice if they had more varieties available and if the workers were a bit more friendly. I wish the location in Port Authority was still around--at least a couple steps more convenient.
google avatar

Angela L.

Yelp
The snacks are great, just like at any other auntie Anne's bc there's just a single recipe lol. However this location gets real slow as soon as they have more than 3 people on line. Workers clearer just don't wanna be there.
google avatar

George C.

Yelp
This Auntie Anne's/Carvel is terribly laid out and run by nasty staffers, neither of which surprise me given its location. Suckered in by a sidewalk sign for $2 ice cream, which it turned out was vanilla/chocolate/swirl cups/cones (asked for a cone and got a cup). No room for a line to form, and no organization even if you do start to try one, because standing more than single file means new customers can't enter.
google avatar

Kimberly K.

Yelp
Hey, guys! Please be careful with this place when you place an order online. I ordered my food around 2045 and waited over 1 hour to get my food(delievery). So, I called directly to this place to confirm my order at 2220. And the employee told me they DID NOT receive the order from grubhub. And we got a message from Grubhub 2 second later that Auntie Anne just cancelled the order. Lol.... please do not play with customers. Will NEVER order any food from this store.
google avatar

Vernessa J.

Yelp
Please BEWARE OF USING YOUR CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD AT THIS LOCATION. I went to the times square location. I went to this location last week and used my card and the next day someone in there used it. Got in contact with them and i think a manager messaged me saying they don't have any transaction for my card except for the day that i went in. But yet my bank statement is showing 2 different transactions for 2 different days and 2 different prices. They didn't seem to care at all. Now i'm waiting for that charge to come off my account. NEVER again i'm i going in there. It's nothing but a bunch of hungry thieves working in there who are used to swiping peoples card. STAY AWAY from the times square location lots of sticky fingers working in there. I wish i can give them a negative 0 on the review.
google avatar

Ari H.

Yelp
I love auntie Anne's pretzels, but this place is a no go for me. First of all, the pretzel I received was hard as a brick ! It taste like it had been sitting out and whoever cooked it cooked it beyond well done. But on a lighter note, the light skin guy with the scar on his face was a cutie so I might be back up there
google avatar

Winnie C.

Yelp
Got the original nuggets because they do not have any original pretzels, and that's the only reason I'm not giving it a five star. The texture is perfect when it's warm. Soft and fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside and the right amount of saltiness. Bite size pieces are really convenient but I still wish I got a pretzel though.
google avatar

Diana T.

Yelp
What you all are talking about? Why are you just complaining about their service if you spend no more than couple of minutes there and after just enjoying their handmade little beauties! I absolutely don't care about how friendly was a cashier, i appreciate the hard work they all are doing every time when I put my favorite cinnamon bites in to my mouth. That is actually all about!
google avatar

Marian W.

Yelp
Always great pretzels but pretty bad service at this spot. I don't blame them since they have to serve hundreds of lost tourists in the Times Square area but still...service industry. Went last night to pick up a pretzel before Mad Max! No pretzels were available but we were willing to wait. The girl asked us what we wanted after several minutes and when we told her, she walked away! 2 minutes later, she tells her coworker and about us, "they wanted a salted something, I don't know." Basically shooing us away and telling him to deal with us. He was at least nice telling us that the wait was going to be 15min. Eh, if this was a sit down place, you know we won't return. But for delish pretzels and minimal interaction, it's fine.

Sadri B.

Yelp
This place in Hell's kitchen on 8th Ave and 43rd St is triple trouble with Annie's pretzels , cinnabon and carvels all under one roof .I can't walk back to work with soft ice cream in my hands but a half dz flying saucers , 6 assorted large pretzels and a box of mini cinnabons is taking the walk back with me . Many calories as well is making the journey with me but who cares cause the moment I get back to the office my useless workers will come alive with joy . The place inside is limited space wise so order and go on your way and other thing I must mention , this place bangs you out wallet wise as I got 60 bucks less in my wallet after ordering all the yummy goodies .Really like the pretzels from Annie's but I like to keep it simple and always order the plain kind and the mini nuggets are also my favorite but I can't go overboard today but tomorrow is a different story if I am in the area again . Until we meet again triple treat or triple threat or triple trouble ,. Whatever 4 STARS on my Yelp meter.

Jonattan P.

Yelp
When we walked in to the Times Square location on 8th Ave on 4/2/18 at 1:30pm, a lady with her pants halfway down her butt and a short hairstyle said "order when you're ready", so I asked for the "mini cinnabons". She yelled at me and said "Cinnabites" or something like that aggressively twice and condescendingly like I was stupid for not knowing the name but the tag for the cinnabites was obscured behind a safety sticker. She was so rude and acting so tough that I didn't mention the label wasn't visible and didn't ask her name. She looked 30-40 years old, brown-skinned androgynous black lady. The guy who came to the counter instead of yelling at me from the back was very friendly and not aggressive like that lady. Employees that are rude like her with their pants sagging low like a gang member are bad for business. I'm less inclined to stop by that location now.

Ana S.

Yelp
Everyone that works here is so rude it's disgusting. The food was good of course, but the service is so disgusting I rather not even bother. How are you mad at the people coming in to buy food? This is your job, if you don't like it get a new one, or go be miserable where no one can see you. Terrible service.
google avatar

Mandy R.

Yelp
Some of the rudest people work here. They need an attitude adjustment and get pissed because you ordered a pretzel that wasn't already in the display case. Don't come here, the pretzel service on the carts are better!

Christel M.

Yelp
Terrible customer service They are other locations near by that offer a better experience

Murad A.

Yelp
Be aware when using your credit or debit card here . I made an order and the guy told me it's $5 and some change I gave him the credit card and didn't give me a receipt I got suspicious so I asked for one he gave me one I took my order while I was stepping out of the store I saw that he gave me a receipt for $5.00 even paid cash so logged in to my account and I saw that I was charged $12.00 I went back in there saw the same guy told him and he didn't even say a word he just took the receipt like he was familiar with the thing and went to the back gave it to his manager the manager came with attitude asking me what's up I told him what's up he didn't apologize or show that he even cares he just asked for the card and did the refund but It was very clear that it's not the first time for both guys to do that and they were so familiar with it and when I told them that they even start cursing and I just walked out . I am checking their yelp now and there's similar stories and even a picture for same guy in the front.
google avatar

Jason G.

Yelp
Fast food pretzel chain that's all over the country, in malls and airports, yet the freshly baked pretzel basted with butter and salted still tastes good.
google avatar

Serena C.

Yelp
How can you hate on Auntie Anne's? Yes, it's mall food. Yes, it's $3.35 for a pretzel (including tax). But it's so delicious! Soft, tender pretzels with just the right amount of chew. And the flavors--cinnamon sugar and almond are my favorite. The savory ones aren't quite so successful (both the garlic one and the sour cream and onion taste like flavored powder) They're even tasty plain with a bit of salt (and possibly a bit cheaper?). So much better than the street cart pretzels (which are dry and bland and gross, and not even comparable!). The major downside is the service--like your typical mall-type franchise, you have typical mall-type employees. Half the time it'll be great, the other half...not so much. But at least you'll have your pretzel, and that'll make it all better. Tip: There're all kinds of other options here--dipping sauces, drinks, pretzel sticks, and even pretzel dogs (hot dogs with pretzel instead of bun).

Gina M.

Yelp
I was waiting in line next to a woman who was waiting to the side for ten minutes (at 1030 pm) for a regular pretzel to be made because there was maybe five items in the inventory box when they close at 11pm. Yes... half hour before they close but line is out the door and this is Times Square during the holidays. You should close when it's closing time not before. The woman waiting for her pretzel got the attention of a girl pretzel maker who, when asked when the pretzel would be done, offered an irrelevant item in its place to get her to go. Rude. And, worst, I went here one night around 6 pm and put my phone on the counter when paying. After walking 200 feet out the door I realize I left my phone. I went back and it was already gone so it was obviously taken since it was only about 45 seconds. Anyway. Why couldn't auntie Anne's help me? Are there no cameras right on the register? Useless as well.
google avatar

Wendy L.

Yelp
This auntie Anne's always runs out of pretzel selections and asks to wait 5 minutes when it's like 15 minutes for the fresh pretzels. Their machines are broken most of the times and sometimes don't take card. All staff members are listening to inappropriate music and cursing all the time.....
google avatar

Jando S.

Yelp
The pretzels here are slightly better than the ones that are sold from the hot dog carts, with more variations that include salted, buttered, and sweet topping shavings. Its a tourist central stop for folks who are on their way to the 42nd street stretch of Times Square. Prices will be more outrageous obviously and the food is nothing to boast about other than the specialized pretzels. There is no seating here, unless you want to try sitting on the nasty sidewalk.
google avatar

Marci C.

Yelp
Because almost every street corner in ny has a food stand selling pretzels and a bunch of people walk around tearing apart and eating the soft, twisted bread, we couldn't resist eating one ourselves... but from a shop instead of a food stand (though apparently the shop is all over the country. Bummer). We wanted to try the honey pretzel but didn't want to wait for it to finish baking, so we settled with the original. Although we didn't eat the pretzel until a few hours later when it was cold and kinda solid, it was still very tasty... the dough was light and it had a nice saltiness. Just wish we ate it while it was still warm, but it was still yummy.
google avatar

Ichiro M.

Yelp
I usually never write reviews for yelp, but last two times I went, it wasn't a pleasant experience. When you go in there, they always seem to be out of regular pretzels, so I guess you could buy the more expensive pretzel bites, but my issue is mainly with this one girl that works there with a really bad attitude and demeanor. I get working in jobs like that can suck, so I try to give the benefit of the doubt, but she's rude and very condescending. If she's still there, I'll definitely avoid going back
google avatar

Michele G.

Yelp
This is for the lemonade and the fact that the location makes it easy for me to get some on the way to food adventures. It's addictive like crack. I saw that if you add one of those odd colored flavors too it that it's one of the most unhealthy drinks sugar-wise though, so be careful. I like the pretezel dogs here, but I had a cinnamon sugar pretzel and it had been out under the heat lamp too long. Pretzel time's pretzels are better.
google avatar

Andrew L.

Yelp
Man I love this place. The employees there are super friendly and actually care about their costumers. Love Auntie Anne's !!
google avatar

Eunice A.

Yelp
This place is great for pretzels lovers. They have varities of pretzels, sugared and salted. I loved the cinnamon rasin. They are inexpensive, made fresh and hot. I think I am going to stop by next week and get one.
google avatar

Laksen R.

Yelp
Great service for somewhat stale pretzel's in midtown. Better than I expected and a great place to grab snacks before watching a movie.

Cathy K.

Yelp
In a land of stale pretzels sold from hot dog carts, your first bite of Auntie Anne's will sure come as a surprise. "No way, is this what a soft pretzel is supposed to taste like?!" That was my reaction. My boyfriend's was similar when he had his first bite the other day and couldn't believe how moist these pretzels are. Make sure to buy a drink (I recommend the frozen mango drink!) because you WILL get thirsty. I repeat, you WILL get thirst. BUY A DRINK TO GO WITH IT. The only downside to Auntie Anne's is not getting a drink and dying of thirst after - but that's totally avoidable so just be smart and look at their drink menu, too. Plain and cinnamon sugar are my favorites. And I love that they come as a regular soft pretzel, pretzel sticks, or pretzel bites. Little choices like that are nice to have. Personally, I find the pretzel sticks to be the best for snacking.

K C.

Yelp
I used to visit this Auntie Anne's location at least once a week. The very last time I came here, I ordered the Bacon Cheddar Stuffed Pretzel Nuggets & Cinnamon Sugar Stix (tasted raw) which gave me food poisoning. I called customer service to report this incident and was told they have contacted this location and I should expect a call back soon. I waited about 2 weeks and nobody called me back. Then, I decided to call customer service again and was told the same thing. I waited and waited, but never received a call back. So, I decided to call the Health Department. This could have been avoided. You have just lost yourself a loyal customer!

Pooja B.

Yelp
If I could give no stars I would. The people working at this location have such bad attitude, they think they are doing you a favor by serving you pretzels. Also, the girl who was mopping the floor just left her mop to pick up a pretzel for a customer. After waiting for over ten mins for a pretzel it's all dough in most bites.
google avatar

Wendy G.

Yelp
Always a fan of AA's pretzel, soooooo delicious, soft texture, warm temperature, orig/onion flavor with cheese sauce. YUM!

J T.

Yelp
I know that most people eat those street cart pretzels but I love me some Auntie Anne's. They are soft, a little chewy and doughy. The street cart ones are always hard and old. Love the fact that they have so many different flavors. I just wish there were more outlets of this amazing chain!!
